Mia ep 1 Hacienda Casablanca: Dona Ines was
babbling to her
sick husband and told him to stay home and relax. Don
Lorezo wish to breathe his last breath in tht house.
Soledad and her daughter Paloma returned to the coffee
plantation to continue their work. They greeted
Aurelio. Aurilio praised tht Paloma was looking more
and more beautiful. Paloma wonder if Aurilio wanted to
feel her hand slapping across his face. Aurelio said
he didn't want to risk tht. He picked up their boxes
and brought them to their cabin.
Dona Ines and Don Lorenzo were in the main bedroom.
Don Lorenzo said he can feel tht this room will be the
place where he'll go in peace. Ines begged him to keep
her company and don't leave her.
Paloma complained the disorganised cabin. Aurilio said
the cabin will only be cleaned if Paloma and Soledad
stayed there. Paloma wanted to continue learning and
didn't want to spend of her life picking coffee beans
and moving from one plantation to another.
Don Jaoquin and his wife rushed to Ines who was
worried tht Don Lorenzo had given up to live. She hope
her son can help make his father felt better and try
to make him go back to Mexico where he can be treated.
Jaoquin was willing to talk to his father but he doubt
tht the old man will listen to him.
Aurelio was with Don Lorenzo, he reported tht 'the
woman and her daughter' had arrived and he brought
them to the cabin. Don Lorenzo thanked him. Later
Jaoquin joined them and hugged his father. He asked
about other plantations and Jaoquin wanted him to stop
worrying, he wanted his father to be in Mexico. Don
Lorenzo said he always come to the Hacienda. He later
wanted to walk around the plantation but Jaoquin
didn't allow him. He was holding his chest and can't
fight against his son's decision. He stood by the door
and Soledad's image appear next to him looking at the
same moon.
Paloma asked y did her mom was so early getting ready
for bed. Soledad said they need to get early for work
tomorrow. She said it's time for Soledad to tell her
why she liked to walk at night while they were at
Hacienda Casablanca. Soledad said she enjoyed walking
among the coffee trees. Paloma sat next to her mom and
asked her mom to join her watch their favourite
telenovela to get a more romatic mood. Soledad agreed
after Paloma begged her.
Inside the house, Ines and Jaoquin's wife were
watching tv and we can see Soledad and Paloma behind
the door watching while chewing on snacks.
Morning..
Plantation. Workers were picking coffee, birds
singing. Paloma was doing her work and singing with a
sweet voice.
Dona Ines complained 'tht girl' had always been the
same. She wanted to tell Aurelia to fire her for
singing too loud. Don Lorenzo who was weak in bed,
told her to let the girl alone. Let her sing. Ines was
worried and wanted to call doctor. Don Lorenzo said
there's no point running from death. Ines said she
loved him all her life. Don Lorezo had his eyes closed
all the time. Paloma's voice filled the room.
Aurelio escorted Jaoquin and a priest into the house.
When he was leaving, Soledad asked him why the priest
was there. Aurelio said their boss was getting worse.
He's going to do whtever he can to help. Soledad
started to cry. Paloma approached her mom and
surprised to see her crying.
The priest was praying for Don Lorenzo. Jaoquin kissed
his father's forehead. Aurelio can't stop his tears
from falling. The room was quiet and full of sadness.
Outside, the workers were praying for Don Lorenzo.
They were all very sad. Aurelio came standing in front
of them and announced tht Don Lorenzo had passed away.
His cheeks were wet with tears. Soledad closed her
eyes and cried. Paloma hugged her mom.
New York. Juan Francisco received a call from Jaoquin
telling him tht their dad passed away. He promised to
take the first flight home and asked him to call
Angela, her life and told her to wait for him at the
airport. Juan Francisco said death happens but he
couldn't believe tht it's his father's turn. "Why now?
Why during everything is going just great?" He gulped
his wine.
Paris. A young woman sitting yoga style. She's Daniela
on of Don Jaoquin's daughter. Her phone rang. It was
her mom teling her tht her grandpa passed away. She
can't go home because tomorrow her theatre performance
premiers. She apologized. She hang up sadly.
London. Another phone rang Diana (also Don Jaoquin's
daughter) was sleeping next to her boyfriend, Jeremy.
Her mom was on the phone telling her tht her grandpa
passed away. She tried to keep Jeremy to shut up. She
promised to get home as soon as possible and agreed to
tell Diego (her brother) and Fabian (her cousin, Don
Juan Francisco's son). She hang up. Jeremy wanted to
follow her but Diana said no because this is not a fun
journey.
Diego picked up the phone (OMG! his hair! As curly as
Paloma's hair! LOL!) Fabian was slapping the tabla
thingy. It was Diana on the phone. He grabbed FAbian's
shoulder. He was surprised and asked if she got the
tickets. After hanging up he shouted at Fabian to stop
having fun, their grandpa died. Fabian went quiet and
sadly said "now he (their grandpa) can really relax in
peace." They sent their girls away and get ready to go
back home.
A reporter was reporting something to a camera. At the
background many people were walking into the Hacienda.
Paloma was asking her mom about the strangers she saw.
Soledad pointed out Fabian and his cousin, Diana who
walked arm in arm. Soledad still can't stop her tears
from falling. Paloma wondered how did Soledad knew so
much. She said she has been there since she was very
little. Paloma saw a man (Diego), she asked who was
tht. Soledad guessed tht he might be Diego, Don
Jaoquin eldest son. He had been there when he was
little and after tht his father sent him to Europe or
some place far, she wasn't sure. Diego looked up and
saw Paloma smiling and looking at him. She told her om
tht he seemed handsome and strong. Paloma looked down
when Diego was still looking at her.
Fabian and Diana went to convey their condolonces to
Ines, Jaoquin and his wife. FAbian later went to greet
his mom, Angela. His father was with some business
associate discussing something. Angela complained tht
his grandpa's death was at an unappropriate time coz
she had to adjourned so many things just to be here.
Fabian wondered why the funeral was being held there
in the village., Fernando (maybe Fabian's brother)
said it was Don Lorenzo's last wish. Fabian pulled
Fernando away from his mother and asked about his
secret Japanese girlfriend in Tokyo.
Diego went to hug his grandma, father, and mother.
Dona Ines said she knew how much Diego loved his
grandpa. They hugged again.
Barbara called FAbian and wondered if he still
remember her. FAbian called her 'mi amor'. He kissed
her and she turned away. She was angry coz no one told
her, she knew about Don Lorenzo's death from TV. She
went to Fabian's mother and wished tht she had been
there earlier to accompany her. FAbian's mother said
this is not a social gather, Barbara didn't have to be
there. Barbara turned to leave but Fabian stopped her
and said she didn't have to leave, he still loved her.
He kissed her cheek and told her to be calm.
Fabian left her with other guests and went to another
room where his father, Juan Francisco was talking
about business with two men. Fabian joined them and
hugged his father. Juan Francisco proudly introduced
his son to his two important friend. later Jaoquin
approached Juan Francisco. Juan told him tht she
cannot stop picking coffee bean for 4 months coz they
need to supply more coffee to New York. He was worried
coz the whole workers were not working, the were
standing in front of the house doing nothing. Jaoquin
reminded him tht the workers were mourning for Don
Lorenzo. They respected and loved their boss. Jaoquin
told him to continue his business discussion.
Jaoquin left Juan Francisco and bumped into his son.
He told Diego tht his uncle turned the wake into a
business meeting. Jaoquin help keep Diego's coat while
Diego went to see wht his uncle was up to.
Juan Francisco introduced his nephew to his two
friends. He said Diego is completing his degree in
London. Diego was standing there impatient to talk
with his hands on his waist. One of the men said
surely Diego is learning about business. Diego said he
wasn't interested in business, he was interested in
land, especially this land and he wished to stay there
forever. He turned and left Juan Franciso, Fabian and
the two guests chuckling.
Diego walked to the balcony and saw Paloma walking
away with her mother.
There are hundreds of people standing outside the
church watching Don Lorenzo's coffin being carried
into the church. Tv reporters were there taking
pictures and reporting live. Soledad was crying some
more. Later everybody were in the church and Soledad
and Paloma were just taking their seats. Paloma's
image blurred in the background and Diego's face
filled the screen.
Paloma worried seing her mom being extremely sad. She
pulled a flower and told her mom to go put the flower
on don Lorenzo's coffin. Soledad said there's no room
for poor people among those rich people. Paloma said
this is God's house, and everyone is equal. Paloma
stood up and walked casually in her slippers towards
the coffin. She put the flower on the coffin and
crossed herself.
Diego asked Fabian who was tht beautiful girl. Fabian
said he didn't have to ask anything if he's not
interested in having fun. Diego shot him a look.
Paloma turned and started walking back to her mom. She
saw Diego. They looked at each other. She smiled and
looked down while walking to her mom.
Next day..
Paloma was picking coffee beans and singing from the
top of ther lungs.
Diego joined his grandma for breakfast. Dona Ines
complained about the loud singing by tht girl. She
said tht girl had been doing tht for years. She
wondered why Aurelio didn't do anything about tht. She
said tht girls should respect the people in the house
who were still mourning. Diego promised tht he'll
handle the situation.
Diego went to look for Aurelio and asked who was the
girl singing. Aurelio said it was Paloma and asked if
he wanted him to tell her to stop singing? Diego said
no, he'll do it himself.
Paloma was sitting on some sacks of coffee with her
bare legs crossed. She was singing with a pencil and a
notebook on her lap. Diego watched her for sometime
before calling her. He said he's there because his
family were disturbed by her loud singing while they
were still mourning. Paloma apologized for being too
loud and swore tht it didn't mean tht she didn't
respect Don Lorenzo. She said if he didn't believe
her, she'll talk to Dona Ines herself. She started
walking away but Diego held her arm and said she
didn't have to. She stopped talking and looked at his
fingers holding her arm. He said he hope she'll lower
her volume. She agreed to do tht. He thanked her for
putting the flower on his grandfather's coffin. She
said it was from her mom and herself. Diego thanked
her again and they shook hands. It was a very long
hand shake. They were interrupted by the family's
lawyer, Jorge. Diego excused himself and escorted
Jorge into the house. Paloma smiled.
Jorge was reading the will. Don Lorenzo left the
export company El Cafetalero to Juan Francisco and the
branches. He left Jaoquin the Hacienda Casablanca and
the land for plantation. Jaoquin smiled and Diego
touched his shoulder. They seemed satisfied. Jorge
continued tht the wealth must be passed to their sons.
They cannot sell wht he gave them and it must be
passed on to their next generations (sons and
grandsons) with Sanchez Sambrano family name by birth
in order to ensure the existense of his family
throughout time in coffee business. Diana complained
tht it was 100 percent machoism. Jorge said it was wht
stated in the will. Juan Francisco stood up when he
thought everything had finished. Jorge stopped him and
pulled out an envelope left by Don Lorenzo. It
contained Don Lorenzo's last wish but he can't open
the envelope now coz Don Lorenzo allowed it to be
openned after 4 years. Juan Francisco said he's
prepared to take any responsibility and consequences
and wanted Jorge to open the envelop. Dona Ines said
she also wanted to know wht in the envelope but they
must respect their father's last wish.
Paloma was enjoying her drinks and writing something
on her notepad. A man was with Aurelio watching
Paloma, admiring her. Tht guy was interested in
Paloma. Aurelio said all he had to do was get to tht
girl and tell her how beautiful she was. Tht guy
smiled and asked tht easy? then why no one approach
her? He decided to try his luck. He approached Paloma
and asked her out to a hotel in town. Paloma took her
drink and tossed it to tht man's face. It was hot and
tht man screamed. She grabbed his head and shove his
head into a basin full of water, she yelled at him and
warned him to stay away from her. The workers were
clapping and cheering. Paloma said she prefer to go to
town with her mom. She walked out of the place.
Aurelio approached tht soaked man and said "Now you
now tht Paloma must be respected."
Fabian promised Barbara tht he'll be back to London
soon. He believe tht in less than a year he'll become
a manager in El Cafetalero company and after tht he'll
marry her and have kids. Barbara asked if he was
proposing because of wht was stated in the will.
Fabian said yes. She'll give him sons and they inherit
the family's wealth. Bernando was not interested in
girls, Diego is worse, so their sons will
inheritSanchez Sambrano's wealth. He pulled her to his
lap and they hugged.
Jaoquin was tith Diego. Jaoquin was sad coz his wife
think Juan Francisco got the best part. He prefer the
house and the land coz his father love the land too.
Diego said grandpa was exactly like him and Diego,
they love tht place. Jaoquin excuse himself coz he
wanted to say goodbye to those who would be leaving
tht day.
Paloma started singing again and Diego looked at her
from the balcony. Soledad reminded Paloma tht she was
warned to keep her voice down. Palonma said it didn't
mean tht she had to stop singing, Don Diego told her
himself. She looked up and saw him looking at her.
Juan Francisco and his wife, and Barbara were leaving
for London. Diana told Barbara about her boyfriend in
London. Barbara hope Barbara would look after Fabian
while she's away coz Fabian promised to marry her.
Then, they all left. Diana told Diego tht Fabian
didn't waste anytime to get sons, he promised to marry
Barbara. She said it's about time tht Diego started
looking for a wife.
Night..
Dona Ines, Diego and his mom were watching telenovela.
Paloma and Soledad were watching from the door chewing
their snacks. They jumped and screamed when the
telenovela's main character was shot by the hero. A
vase nearby broke, startling Dona Ines and others.
Dona Ines called out who was it and Paloma & Soledad
emerged and said it was them. dona Ines was angry and
asked wht were they doing in her house? Diego calmed
her grandma and promise to settle this. He approached
Soledad and Paloma.
Paloma quickly speak up and said he might think they
were trying to mess things up but she and her mom were
just there to watch the telenovela. Soledad promised
to replace the vase because the vase was not damaged.
Paloma explained tht before this the workers were
provided TV to watch. She promised this will not
happen again. Dona Ines raised her voice and asked
Diego wht was going on. Diego said he's coming. He
lowered his voice and told Paloma to go back to her
cabin and try not to make his grandma angry. She
agreed and turned to leave, but later she turned back
towards him and said She'll bring the vase tomorrow
and fix the plant. They wish each others goodnight and
she left.
Paloma and Soledad reached their cabin. Soledad asked
if the man who was shot in the telenovela will be
alive? Paloma was quiet. Soledad asked if she was
dreamy. She said no, she was thinking. She said the
man will not die because he's rich and he can be
treated by great doctors. While they were discussing,
someone knocked their door. It was Diego barry a
televisyen so tht they can watch their telenovea. He
said he'll lend them the tv if they promised not to
make his grandma angry. He wanted to help set it up
but Paloma quickly plug in the TV and turned in on.
She sat on her bed and watch the tv. Diego watch her
sat comfortably on the bed smiling at the TV. Her
skirts seemed too short.
Morning...
Diego woke up smiling. Diana came asking him to help
her coz Jeremy had arrived from London.
Jeremy loved the place. He's an experienced coffee
taster. He can't wait to spend days in there. Diego
had his hair lose. Later there was a noise coming from
the workers' centre. Diego ran to see wht was it
about. Jeremy wanted to join him but Diana pulled him
into the house and said she wanted to introduce him to
her mother.
Paloma was grabbing and kicking the man who tried to
hit on her the previos day. Diego pulled her away from
tht man and asked wht was all tht about. Paloma said
tht guy who tried to seduce her yesterday had stolen
the tv tht Diego lent her. Tht man said he didn't
steal it. Paloma got angry and launched towards the
man and grabbed his head, she started kicking him
anywhere she can. Her hair was a mess. Diego pulled
her away again. She still said tht man stole the TV
and then continue to attack tht man. Diego pulled her
away again and said he didn't care about tht TV. He
asked if she's ok. (He suppose to ask if tht man is
ok. LOL.) Paloma said tht main is useless and turned
to attack him again. She grabbed him and kick him once
more. Diego pulled her further from tht man.
She said she promised to take care of tht TV and she
turned away for a few seconds and the TV was gone.
Diego told her to calm down. She was breathing heavily
as if she ran a few miles. He said he need something
to drink. Paloma said she didn't want to drink
anything except tequila. Aurelio said there's no
tequila there, she turend to find tequila at some
place else. Diego offered to accompany her. She seemed
surprised.

Paloma agree to let him joined her but he mus let her
lead the way. Diego agreed. He followed her and she
was yapping all the way to the restaurant about the
TV. She insisted to pay for the TV. She didn't want to
owe anything to anyone. She prefer to be poor and
without owing money. They sat at a table. He said she
didn't have to pay for it. She ignored it. She ordered
2 tequilas and insisted to pay for those too.
She continued tht she's prepared to sign a contract
regarding the instalment for the TV. When the harvest
season ended, she'll find another job and pay him. He
said she won't be able to find him because he'll be
going back to London next Monday. She was thinking of
something and asked if London very far away. He said
it's on the other side of the globe. It's the capital
of United Kingdom. Paloma quickly nodded as if she had
just remembered tht fact. She repeated wht he said
"London is the capital of United and it is situated in
Europe". She closed her eyes and repeated the sentence
a few times. Diego was surprised to see tht she was
trying to remember those words. Then she asked how
long does it takes to get to London, capital of United
Kingdon. He explained tht it'll take 10 hours flight
from Mexico city airport because the plane will have
to cross the Atlantic ocean.
Paloma nodded and then closed her eyes. She repeated,
"London is the capital of United Kingdom and it is
situated in Europe, it'll take 10 hours flight to
reach there because the plane will have to cross the
Atlantic ocean." Diego stopped her from repeating tht
sentence again and asked her if she always tried to
remember wht people said. She said she only ttry to
remember something tht she might find it useful in the
future. Their tequila arrived. They touched their
glasses and she swolled her tequila in one big gulp.
He was stunned and tried to do the same but he coughed
before he swallowed the first sip. Paloma raised her
hand and ordered more.
Jeremy was making faces, trying to absorb the coffee's
taste and congratulated Don Jaoquin tht he has the
greatest Mexican coffee. Dona Ines suspiciously asked
how long have Diana and Jeremy knew each other. Jeremy
said almost 9 months and they lived together. Diana
quickly corrected him and said they were living in the
same building. She later pulled Jeremy away into the
kitchen to see wht died suitable for his sensitive
stomach. Dona Ines asked if Jaoquin heard tht Diana
and Jeremy were living together. Jaoquin didn't say anything.
Paloma and Diego were getting drunk and they were
discussing geography, maps, Paris and London. Now she
was trying to remember Paris is the capital of France.
And then asked how to travel from Paris, France to
London, United Kingdom which is situated in Europe.
THen she unconsciously continued, "It takes 10 hours
flight because the plane has to cross the Atlantic ocean."
Then Paloma suddenly realised tht she's getting drunk
and decided they should stop coz she'll start to act
crazy and stupid soon. Diego agreed tht they must be
going now. They both walked and swayed all the way.
Diego held her and she let her head rested on his
chest and they walked away together.
Night...
Diego said she never tell him her name. Paloma had
just realised tht and said her real name is Teresa
Suarez but she prefer to be called Paloma. She said
she already knew who he was, he's Diego and he used to
come to the hacienda when he was little and now he's
staying in London, United Kingdom (which is situated
in Europe, it'll take a 10 hours flight from Mexico
city airport because the plane will have to cross the
Atlantic ocean). Later they were sharing a wild kiss
and she pushed him away when she thought he was taking
advantage on her. Diego apologized and said he never
did tht before. She ran home.
Morning...
Diego woke up the next morning, smiling, remembering
the kiss.
Diego came and woke him up. She asked him to give
Jeremy a tour around the place. She reminded him not
to let Jeremy eat anything because he has a sensitive
stomach. Diego told her not to worry. Diana warned
Diego not to take him to the cantinas coz those place
will be crowded with workers because it's pay day and
the workers will be out to party and get drunk and hit
each other.
Paloma and Soledad had finished picking coffee bean
and Paloma ended her singing softly. BAck at the
cabin, Soledad realised tht Paloma was anxious waiting
for someone. She asked her to follow her to the
cantina to enjoy themselves and drink some tequila.
Diego brought Jeremy to a river and there was also a
water fall. Jeremy admired the place and jealous of
Diego who was lucky to own such a place. Jeremy begged
him to take him to the cantina, he just wanted to
observe wht going on.
It was getting dark and Diana was worried about Jeremy
and Diego. Jaoquin, his wife and Dona Ines told her to
calm down coz Jeremy will be just fine with Diego.
Diana wondered if Jeremy had eaten anything coz he
can't just eat the stuff he found, it'll worsen his
sensitive stomach. She was pacing impatiently.
Diego and Jeremy arrived at a cantina. He saw Paloma,
Soledad and Aurelio having tequila at one table. He
approached them but Soledad wanted to go home already.
Diego asked Soledad's permission to drink with Paloma
and promised will take care of her. Paloma tried
begged Soledad with her puppy eyes. Soledad agreed and
reminded her to come home early coz she won't be able
to sleep without Paloma being home. Soledad walk home.
Diego and Jeremy joined Paloma and Aurelio. Jeremy was
munching something and drinking tequila. Paloma asked
Diego to dance. When they were at the dance floor they
both tuck their hair behind their ears. LOL. Then they
started dancing slowly. Diego remembered tht she
didn't let him apologized for wht happen the previous
night. Paloma said last night he kissed another
Paloma. She was never like tht before. They stopped
when the music suddenly stopped. They returned to
their table but Jeremy and Aurelio weren't there.
Diego was worried because he can't return without
Jeremy. Paloma agree to help her search for Aurelio
and Jeremy at other cantinas.
They walk from one cantina to another and drink some
tequilas each time they stopped by. They reach the
next cantina and Jeremy and Aurelio weren't there.
Then she realised tht they had been there earlier.
Diego suggested the drink one more tequila. She said
'what??" and walked happily into the cantina. While
drinking, Diego accidently hit a man with his arm. The
man went angry. Diego quickly apologized. Paloma got
angry and began clawing and kicking the guy. Diego
quickly grabbed her and drag her out of the cantina.
Outside she took a deep breath and tried to make her
anger go away. Diego said she must calm down. She
seemed relaxed but later she ran back into the cantina
wanted to hit the guy. Diego quickly grab her back and
pulled her away from the cantina. She apologized coz
she's starting to be stupid and crazy again. He
smiled. They shared another kiss. She asked if he
really leaving next Monday. He said yes. She asked
when he'll be back, Diego said one year. After that
he'll return and will be back foor good.
He walked her home. They stopped at the same spot the
previous night and kissed agian. They had to stop when
suddenly Soledad came calling Paloma. She gave him
another quick kiss and ran back to her cabin. Diego
smiled guiltily at Soledad and pushed back his long
hair. Soledad shook her head.
Next day..
Diego woke up at 1 o'clock with a terrible headache.
Soledad walk out of their cabin and Paloma was looking
towards the big house. They were getting ready to go
to the Sunday Market. Paloma said Soledad knew tht she
liked tht guy very much. Soledad told her not to
expect love from the riches, besides, he's leaving
tomorrow. She reminded her tht life is not a
telenovela. There were sometings tht girls can't dream
of. If he wanted her, may his family wouldn't accept
her. Paloma told her mom to stop talking. She wanted
Paloma to forget Diego and let their memory passed by.
Paloma grabbed her scarft and walked out of the door.
Soledad locked the door and told Paloma to slow down.
Diego ran downstairs and kissed his grandma and Diana.
Diana unthankfully thanked Diego for taking care of
Jeremy. Jeremy told her not to blame Diego, blame it
on the tequila.
Jaoquin joined them and said Diego must join them for
lunch coz this will be the last time his grandma see
him and it'll be another year before she'll see him
again. Diego asked Dona Ines to prepare dinner instead
and she agreed, she said he would be nicer if he cut
his hair. Diego smiled and said he'll consider tht
suggestion. AFter kiss his father's and his
grandmother's cheek, he ran out cheerfully. They were
all wondering wht was happening to him, Jeremy said
he's in love. and asked with who, Jereme explainwith a
young girl, one of the worker. Dona Inez stood up and
Jeremy knew something is wrong, he quickly said he
didn't know wht he was talking about. Dona Ines and
Diana agreed tht they must find out if Diego really
was in love with one of the workers.
Diego ran to Palomas's cabin and knocked the door. No
one was in. Later Aurelio came and told him tht the
went to the Sunday market for shopping.
Paloma saw a beautiful clothes and admiring it, later
a big man with camera came to her and said she's
looking beautiful each day, she wanted to take her
pictures. Paloma and soledad sat at a table. Tht big
man approach them and said she can make Paloma rich.
Soledad told him to go away before she kick him. Tht
man showed them his business card to prove tht he's
from a famous company. Paloma read the card. He said
he can make her a model and her mom doesn't have to
work any more. Paloma was interested. Soledad told
Paloma to ignore tht guy because he might want to take
her pictures without her clothes on. She drag her
daughter away from tht man.
Jeremy wanted to walk through town. Diana said it
might be dangterous. He asked for another cup of
coffee. Diana went to get the coffee and Aurelio came.
Jeremy followed him to town.
At the market, Paloma baought a stylish hair. Her mom
was so roud of her daughter, later they were shopping
for some Accessories.
Diego had just arrived at the market looking for
Paloma. He smiled when he saw Paloma and her mom. He
closed her eyes with his hands and chuckled, she
turned and happy to see him. He pulled her away and
wanted to spend the day with her. Paloma managed to
let her mom agree. Paloma explained tht she had just
bought bought the hat. Her dress was new too and she
only wear it on special occasions. He praised tht
she's beautiful and he wanted to bring her to a
special place.
Soledad seemed worried.
They were at a restaurant, kissing. Diego wanted to
throw away his watch coz it's moving too fast & didn't
want to know wht time it is. She stopped him from
throwing it away and said why not just give it to her
as something she can remember him while he's gone.
Diego said he decided not to return to London and stay
there with her. She said he shouldn't give up his
studies, his future for for her. She said their
feelings were temporarily and it will pass by soon
when he returned, his feelings might already gone, and
he'll forget her. Diego said he'll never forget her.
This the 1st time he fall in love. He told her not to
worry about his family. She said maybe a few days
after this, they'll realise the truth tht they can't
be together. She wanted him to go back to london and
swore tht she'll wait for him. Diego think a year is
too long. They kissed again and said he didn't wat to
return. Palona again swore she'll wait for him and a
year from now they will meet again during the
harvesting month, in October. IF he came after tht,
she'll be gone. Diego said he'll remember tht tht day
was 17th October and he'll be there in a year's time.
and on 18th October, they will get married. He swore.
She repeated her promise. MOre kissing..

Diego can't imagine the number of nights he'll have to
spend without her. They stood looking at the water

Diego and FAbian had prepared all things and ready to
go back to London. Jeremy didn't want to follow them
back to London he wanted to stay there for a few more
days. Jaoquin tried to make Diana felt better and said
he’ll look after Jeremy while he’s there. Dona Ines
was not thrilled by the idea of Jeremy staying. Don
Jaoquin wanted to discuss something with Jeremy. Diego
told Diana to go first coz he need to get to someting
first.
He ran to Paloma’s cabin. Soledad was not happy to see
him and told him Paloma is in the cabin. She was
crying. Diego came to her almost crying tht he didn't
to leave. Paloma wanted him to finish his education
and after tht nothing can stop them from being
together.. She heavy heartedly let him go. She said
she didn’t have any fixed addres but they both know
they’ll be there in October. If she need him, she
already know tht he’s in London, capital of United
Kingdom. It takes 10 hours flight to get there because
the plane need to cross the Atlantic ocean. She
continued crying. Before he left, she asked if she
really was the first woman in his life. He said she’s
the first and the one and only he didn’t want to lose
her. She gave him her favourite tape in exchange of
the watch to remember each other.
After Diego left, Soledad said now she must learn to
quit crying. Soledad said she warned Paloma tht she
will be hurt if she had any kind of relationship with
tht rich boy.
Days go by the harvesting season almost ended. Her
notebook full of drawings or heart being pierced by a
love arrow and her name and Diego's name were on the
pages. Paloma and Soledad packed their stuff and ready
to go to another plantation. Aurelio promised to get
them back for the next harvesting season. A friend
gave Paloma some magazines coz she knew tht Paloma
loved to read.
When they were walking in town, Paloma was not feeling
well and they stop at a table. Paloma saw her mom
counting money and wondered where she got tht. Soledad
told her not to ask questions. Soon they’ll be in
another plantation to work. Paloma seemed not well,
getting dizzy and nauseas. Soledad suspected something
and questioned her if she had done something with
Diego. Paloma was sad coz Paloma didn't trust her love
to Diego. She admitted tht she slept with Diego.
Soledad got angry coz tht shouldn't have happened. She
can’t just gave herself to a man Paloma said Diego is
the man for her and he promised to come back for her.
Soledad sid tht the words most men used to trap women.
Paloma question if tht had to do with Soledad herself
who gave birth to her without a father. She quickly
realised tht she had hurt her mother's feelings and
quickly apologized, she said Soledad was pushing her
and she had to talk tht way, she know she shouldn't
have done tht. She apologized over and over again.
They hugged. Soledad hope Paloma is not pregnant.
Soledad brought Paloma to a clinic and the doctor
showed her tests results. Paloma asked wht 'positive'
means? The Doctor explained tht it means, she is
pregnant.
Diego was at London with Fabian who enjoy taking women
home for entertainment. Diego was missing Paloma like
crazy, he was counting the days tht he'll meet Paloma
again. He spent most times listening to the tape and
play Paloma’s favourite song. Fabian wanted him to
join him enjoy with the girls but Diego wasn't
interested. Diego questioned wht BArbara would think
if she knew wht Fabian had been doing. He already
reported to Barbara tht Fabian didn’t go to the
university. Fabian was quite worried tht Diego will
report again to Barbara. He said he'll call her. Diego
left trying not to listen to him when he offered a
girl for him.
FAbian was on the phone with Barbara, but at tht time
he was on the bed embracing another woman. Barbara was
already planning for their married life and met a
gineachologyst tht confirmed tht she can have children
anytime she wanted to.
Paloma and Soledad worked at another plantation.
Paloma worried wht if Diego returned as someone else’s
husband. They both decide Diego must know about this
because it's his child but they didn't know how to
contact him.
They went to Aurelio and tried to get him help them
get Diego's address in London. Soledad make up stories
tht before leaving Diego left Paloma his address but
she lost it and would appreciate it if Aurelio help
them get Diego's address from Don Jaoquin. Aurelio
said it'll be hard coz Don Jaoquin is in New Mexico
and he think if he called him on the phone Don Jaoquin
might get suspicios and will ask questions of why
would he need Diego's address. Aurelio said he will
try.
Diego never quited counting the days and kept dreaming
of his memories with Paloma.
Aurelio afraid tht he can't help find Diego’s address.
Paloma asked if there's another way to get Diego's
address, Aurelio said yes, tht is if they find Jeremy
who used to live in London, he must know where Diego
lives, but the problem is Jeremy left Hacienda
Casablanca and went to Veracruz (uih.. gi jumpa
Vanessa Martinezz ker????) and no one knew how to
contact him. Soledad and Paloma were sad. They asked
Aurelio to let them stay at the cabin for a few more
days. Aurelio said he would do anything to help them.
Paloma said she must do everything she can to get to
Diego.
Paloma and Soledad were at a restaurant. Tht big guy
cameraman guy approached him and repeated his offer to
Paloma. Soledad wanted to send him away but Paloma got
interested when tht guy said he'll send her pictures
to Paris and his boss will get her the tickets so tht
she can be in Paris and become a model. Paloma asked
if Paris, France is situated close to London? tht guy
said, every place is close to each other nowadays.
Paloma smiled and said "Diego, i'm coming for you."
Back at the cabin Paloma was gathering her best
clothes. Soledad was still worried. She said this
won't be good. Paloma said she’s not gonna sit and
wait, she must do something about it.
Paloma agreed to accept tht photographer's offer to
become a model and go to Paris hoping tht she can find
a way to go to London. She went to his studio and get
her pictures taken. Tht big man was happy and told her
to bring some documents so tht he can prepare her visa
and passport so tht she can travel with his agent in
Paris. Once she's in Paris, she'll sign the contract.
Paloma was happy and accepted it. Soledad was worried
if something bad happen to her daughter. A woman saw
them exited the studio behind her curtains.
AFter they left, the big man called his bos (or
something) and told him tht he's got a beautiful girl
who will make him very very rich. He smiled.
Paloma went to the waterfall where she spent the night
with Diego. She kissed his watch and said she’ll find
him.
They went to the studio again and she was told tht she
got the contract to be a model in Paris and she’ll be
going there next week. She’ll get 5000 dollars. Paloma
and Soledad was stunned with the amount. Soledad asked
to see the contract but the photographer said she’ll
only sign the contract when she arrive in Paris.
Soledad never liked the idea of being away from
Paloma. Later she and Paloma went to tht man's studio
and gave him the documents tht were needed to get her
visa and pasport. Tht man asked her name, Paloma said
it's Teresa Suarez. He asked for her last name but she
didn't know who her father was coz Suarez is her
mother's name. Tht man said there will be some
difficulties of she didn't have a last name but later
he told her not to worry coz the angency in Paris will
arrange everything to so tht she can get to Paris. He
said Paloma will travel with a man to Paris. Paloma is
happy and said she'll find Diego no matter what.
Diego kept dreaming of Paloma.
Paloma didn’t want her mom to be sad. She wanted her
to give her blessing for wht she’s giog to do. She
promised to write to her using the cabin’s address
because Soledad didn’t have a fixed address. Soledad
kept thinking tht something bad might happen. Paloma
begged for her blessings and at last she gave her
blessing and wonder how she’s gonna live without
Paloma.
The next day they went to the airport and tht
photographer gave her plane tickets and passport.
Paloma said this must be a mistake because the name on
the documents weren't hers. Tht man said the name had
a commercial value and her real name didn't have a
last name and it'll be hard to travel around. He
showed them the man tht will be escorting Paloma to
Paris. The man ws dressed in casual shirt and didn't
look like someone in modelling business. Her mom was
getting more worried when she saw the man. She said
tht man looked like a bad guy. Paloma told her mom to
stop worrying, everything will be just fine.
Tht photographer walked to the man who was waiting for
Paloma. He asked if the girl knew where they were
going? The photographer said the girl know nothing.
He'll make big money coz he's sure tht the Japanese
men will like this girl very very much and will pay a
lot for her.
Paloma was hugging her mom. And it's time to go, they
were crying and bidding farewel. We can see the
photographer sneaked out of the airport without Paloma
or Soledad realizing it.

Soledad checked with Aurelio if Paloma had sent any
letters for her coz she has been gone for 3 months.
She told him tht Ploma might be in Paris or London.
Aurelio asked if she went looking for Diego.
Post office. A postman checked the mails he need to
deliver and saw one envelop adressed to a cabin in
hacienda Casablanca and it was not addres to the
Sanchez Sambrano.
The postman cycled to the side of a building, he
pulled out the envelope and said i wonder how much she
sent now. He ripped open the envelope, took the money
and ripped the letter and envelop.
Soledad went knocking at the sudio. The woman across
the street called her and Soledad said she's looking
for the photographer. The woman said no one is the
house. The man was jailed and he used the studio to
get hookers and sold them in Europe. Soledad cried and
almost fell. The woman said they were not looking for
models, they were looking for girls to be sold as
hookers.
Diego, Diana, Fabian and Daniela arrived at the
airport. They were all wore black and looked very sad.
Barbara were waiting for them. Barbara told them tht
Diego's parents were on the way to Jalapa for a
business meeting with Juan Francisco but they had an
accident because his brake was not working. Both his
parents died.
They got back and everyone were sad, crying. Fabian
greeted his parents and Diego and her sisters hugged
Dona Ines. Dona Ines wondered why was this happening.
Barbara whispered tht Diego didn't want to go back to
London. Juan Francisco and his wife think tht is quite
a loss coz he only had a couple of months to finish
up. Fabian said he can go back to London any time to
get his diploma. Juan also think it's good coz at
least Diego can take over Jaoquin's duties coz
harvesting season is coming soon. Barbara agreed and
insisted tht FAbian didn't have to leave too so tht
they can get married soon. Fabian said he's not going
back to London either and he wanted to manage the
company in Mexico for his father who is busy with the
office in New York but Juan didn't thik he's ready to
take up tht responsibility.
Later Bernice arrived and BArbara introduced her to
Fabian and his mother, Angela.
Barbara pointed Bernice to Diego. She wanted Bernice
to console him and make him feel better and forget his
sadness. Bernice asked if he really is the new owner
of hacineda Casablanca.
FAbian was not settled coz his dad didn't trust in
him. Juan said he'll let FAbian manage after he's
ready. Juan wanted to work like Bernardo who worked
his way up for the past 6 months. FAbian tried to
impressed his father with his suggestion to involve in
maritim transportation. But Juan Francisco still
wanted him to learn more through experience coz wht he
learnt jut not enough. Juan agree to let Fabian had
the job.
Barbara wanted FAbian to help her get Diego go out for
dinner so tht she can introduce him to Bernice. She
said Bernice liked to play with men's emotion, she's
not interested in love.
Tht night Diego brought Diego and they introduced him
to Bernice. Diego told FAbian he didn't like being
fixed up with Bernice. Bernice will be Barbara's
bridesmaid and Diego will be his bestman.
At dinner they were talking about Barbara and Fabian's
honeymoon tht will be in Greece. Diego said he wanted
to talk to FAbian's father about October harvest
season. Fabian said he didn't have to worry coz he'll
be the general manager for their company El Cafetalero
in Mexico.
In the ladies room. Bernice told Barbara tht she
realised Diego was not interested in her.
FAbian wanted Diego to get to know Bernice but Diego
said he wasn't interested. They drink for Love and
health.
At El Cafetalero company. FAbian avoid his father not
to sell one of their investment coz he believe the
price will go up more. Juan Francisco said if he's
wrong, he'll be the office boy instead of the general
manager.
Barbara and FAbian's wedding. Diego caught the garter
and Bernice caught the flowers, they're being fixed
together again. Diego didn't like the game and wish he
never joined it. He wanted to go back to hacienda
Casablanca. Bernice is nice but he's not interested in
her. Fabian asked if he had someone else, Diego said
no. Juan Francisco came to remind his son tht he
better get ready for his honeymoon in Greece.
Diego sent Bernice hom and refused to go into her
house. She thanked him and hope to meet again. She
kissed her cheek and went to her door. Diego felt
guilty and said he accept her offer to have some
drinks at her house. She prepared him something to
drink. Bernice was flirting with Diego and Diego agree
tht he might ask her out. Bernice was hoping tht he
would invite her to the hacienda. She started to kiss
him but after a few moments, he stopped her and wish
he never accepted her offer to come in. He said she's
too good for him. Berniece was sad coz Diego didn't
return her love. Diego said he can't give wht she
wanted and don't ask why. He said he'll call when he
get to mexico city. He left her crying. Berniece said
she wante dto be with him, it dint' mean tht she
wanted to sleep with him.
Harvesting season started and workers filled the
plantation. Aurelio congratulated him for being the
new bos and expressed his condolonces. He asked if
Paloma had arrived, Aurelio said tht Soledad told him
tht Paloma went to Europe. been there a few times to
pick up her letters but got nothing. Soledad was not
sure whether she was in Paris or London. Soledad
hadn't return to the cabin for quite sometimes.
Aurelio said maybe Soledad will come tomorrow. Diego
can't believe tht Paloma didn't keep her promise.
Diego went to town and met Jeremy who like living
there. She asked how was Diana. He said Diana went
back to London, she was quuite worried about Jeremy.
He introduced his business partner. They're involve in
coffee business. Diego asked if Jeremy seen Paloma or
Soledad. Jeremy remembered them but he didn't seen
them around. Jeremy's friend said too bad a beautiful
girl like Paloma went to Europe to be a hooker. Diego
was surprised.
Tht man said she followed a phtograph who sent her to
Paris to be a hooker. Diego wondered if they were
talking about the same girl. Tht man said may people
saw Paloma and th photographer went together to the
airport. He said the photographer was caught and had
just been released and he was no where to be found. He
belive tht Paloma won't be returning anytime soon.
Deigo couldn't belive this is happening Paoloma sold
herself. He swore tht Paoma was the only woman she
loved and if she returned they will get married, he's
been thinking off her all year and he worried she's
been taken away from him. He can't imagine another man
touching Paloma. Jeremay said tht girl would do
anything for a better life. Diego thought she was
sincere coz he was the first man in her life and they
promised to met again in October, 17 October.
Diego went to Paloma's cabin. Aurelio came to report
to him tht the harvesting alomost completed and
they'll finish up in a month. Aurelio asked if he's
still waiting for 'her'? Diego said it was not
important anymore.
Jeremy said Diego gave up too soon coz it only has
been a month. He didn't care anymore if she return or
not coz it wasn't the same. He imagine a happy life
but he believe this is the end. If Paloma returned,
she won't be the same. He wished Paloma didn't appear
in his life, if not, his life won't be like this.
Jeremy asked if he had a solution?
Diego called Bernice. he wanted to marry her and
wanted her to pack her things up and move into
hacienda Casablanca. he said he didn't wnt to live
alone. Shehang up and laughed.
Bernice told her mom and Diego will call her parens
later. hermother was worried coz they hadjust met.
Bernice said she's not getting married because she'
pregnant or something, it's becausethey loved each
other.
Diego announced to Aurelio and Jeremy tht his future
wife will arrive soon and warned them not to tell her
anything about his history with Paloma.
Barbara can't belive all of the sudden, Bernice is
marrying Diego. They'll get married next Sunday.
Barbara said Fabian might faint if he heard tht.
They'll e livin gin hasienda casablanca. Barbara told
her to follow wht Diego said and after a few months
being married she can try talk him into moving to the
city. Bernice said her mom kept assuming tht she's
pregnant but she never have an intimate relationship
with Diego.
Berniece arrived and Diego greeted her. Her father and
mother were aslo there. Theyw ere still in shock coz
of the sudden decision.
Two men at the airport were talking about a bunch of
women had been returned home germany. they were all

Airport: Paloma asked one of the men at the airport if
they're being arrested. He said they will be released
after they had been declared tht they didn't have any
crime records.
HaciendaCasablanca: Bernice's parents asked if they
really love each other enough to get married. Bernice
held Diego's hand and said they are in love each
other. Diego said a man would know the right woman and
only take days to decide. Bernice is happy and hugged
him.
Airport: Paloma failed to give her passport because it
was lost in Germnay th's why she ws sent home. They
need proof saying tht She is Teresa Suarez. She had to
be detained until her records arrived.
HaciendaCasablanca: Bernice promise not to force Diego
to love her she believe love will come later.
Airport: The man came telling Paloma tht he records
hadn't arrive. Paloma begged her to be released. The
man asked if there's someone tht can veryfiy her
identity. Paloma said her om isin a plantation in
Veracruz which is quite far away, she wanted to pay
him but the man said, she better wait until tomorow
for her records.
Casablanca: Diego welcomed his grandma and Diana. Dona
Ines liked Bernice's family and they wedding will be
tht tomorrow afternoon.Later Bernice joined them and
greeted diana and Dona Ines
Diana told Diego tht their sister Daniela can't come,
she's in Paris.
Later Fabian arrived with Barbara congratulaing him.
Diego asked about their honeymoon, Fabian said they
still woking on getting a son. Barbara went to hug
Bernice and Dona Ines.
Diego said he too hope to ge a son soon.
Paloma was still detained. She wore Dieego's wathc tht
seemed too lose on her small wrist.
Diego wonder wht if Berniece is just a regular woman.
Would Dona Ines and his family accepted her? Diana
said their uncle seemed to be trying o to get Digeo
out of the family and get all the wealth. Diana
realised Diego was kinda of dreamy, she asked if
Jeremy was right when he said Diego fell in love with
one of the workers. She asked if the woman is there in
the plantation now. He didn't answer coz Berniece came
and wanted to show Diana her wedding dress.
The man at the airport brought Paloma's record and she
can already go. Tht man said he can't come tomorow n
wanted another officer to release Paloma. Tht officer
told Paloma tht her record hadn't arrive. Paloma said
she didn't have any criminal records. Tht officer
asked if she really wanted to go out, she only had to
attend to his needs, he'll make sure her records
dissapear. The man grabbed her and tried to hugged her
and she quickly kicked him and he was down. He pulled
his gun and wanted to shoot her. She dared him to pull
the trigger, she said she never slept with any man for
money. She said is he relaly gonna shoot her for
refusing to attend to his need? Tht man said Paloma
will never leave this place.
Next morning: Paloma sat in the detention room, the
other man who arranged for her records to arrive asked
wht was she still doing there? she was supposed to be
released yesterday. Paloma was relieved.
hacienda Casablanca: Fabian was worried tht the
hacinda cannot provide enough coffee for distribution
in Europe. He told Diego not to drink too much.
Aurelio came telling Diego if the workers can join the
wedding party. Diego said of course. Diego was
drinking too much tequila. Fabian hoped tht will not
stop his resposibility to Bernice. In his heart, Diego
said Berniece can expect nothing from him tonight or
any other nights.
Later Jeremy and his partner arrived with some other
friends. Diego welcomed them. Diana came to see Jeremy
and said his family in London were worried about him,
he told her to tell his family tht he's very ok here.
Diego warned Jeremy to stay away from Diana if he
didn't want her to hurt him.
Paloma didn't get the flight oto Jalapa, a man
suggested she take a bus. She was on the way while
Diego was standing infront of the priest, waiting for
his bride who was walking towards him.
Paloma was boarding the bus to Jalapa. The scenes were
edited as if it's a music video. Diego imagining him
dragged away from Paloma, He ignored Berniece, Paloma
being dragged away from him..
Paloma was exicted when she almost arrived. she held
close the watch. Diego and Bernice were exchanging
wedding rings, the priest announced them man and wife,
the guests applauded.
Dona Ines didn't like the noisy party ful of
plantation workers. Dona Ines and Fabian decide to
retire and told Diego to stop drinking, he was getting
drunk. Diana reminded him tht he need to go to
Fabian's office to discuss business tomorow he can't
get too drunk. Diana asked him to watch after Jeremy.
The left.
Later Bernice came, he told her to go to bed first
andhe'll be there soon. They kissed.He continued
drinking.
Later Jeremy came asking how he felt, Deigo said he
felt nothing and warned him not to remind him of
Paloma. He announced to the guests to party all night
with music and tequila.
He grabbed a bottle and left the party.
Paloma failed to get a taxi to Casablanca. The taxi
driver told her to wait for the first bus tht will be
available soon.
Diego went to Paloma's cabin. It was locked. He
touched the door and remembered Paoma swore to came
back for him in a years time, in october 17th october
, she loved her and she'll wit for her. He threw away
the bottle and later ha pulled out his wedding ring,
he cried and threw away the ring too. The slide to the
floor and cried harder.
Berniece was waiting for Diego in bed. but Diego was
too drunk and ignored her. She smiled sweetly. Diego
waked to the bed and fell to sleep immediately his
head touched the pillow,
The guests were going back home. Aurelio was getting
sleepy and yawning. He was wide awake when he heard a
familiar voice called his name. It was Paloma. Paloma
said she's back. She said she didn't get rich. She
said she'll never missed to come everytime there's a
harvest season. She asked wht party was this. Diego
drank another tequila and said tht Diego had just got
married. She froze and Diego said he got married
yesterday ad his party had just ended. Paloma was
quiet and breating as if she ran a 100 metre. She
started to cry and Aurelio calmed her down.
She asked where was her mother. He didn't know, she
came once or twice to look for her letter but non
arrived. Paloma was surprised coz she sent a letter
each month with some money. Aurelio said tht's why the
letter never arrived, someone stole the money and
threw the letter. He last heard tht Soledad was in
Saint Andres and she was sick while working, and then
he didn't hear anything from her. Paloma cried again
and wonder where is her mom.
She said she need money. Aurelio willing to lend her
some and he wanted her to relax in her cabin. Paloma
wanted him to swear not to tell Diego tht she's returned.
Paloma said to herself, she's stuupid, she's been a
thousand miles away and this is wht she got when she
returned. She wiped her tears and dragged her bag
calling her mom.
Two girls taking about Paloma had returned, they
wonder wht she did when she was gone. Later Berniece
came to the kitchen looking for some stuff to make
Diego's breakfast but there's not enough ingredients
to make her chosen meal. She had to take a hot soup
for Diego. Diego was tood runk and hadn't woke up.
The girls continue talking about Paloma, and they
wonder if she thought her mom was there. Poor gilr.
Berniece was interested when they mention tht Paloma
went Europe. They told Bernice tht Paloma and her mom
lived like a gipsy moving from one place to another
working in different plantations through out the year.
They can't imagine living a life like tht. One of the
girls said Don Lorenzo treated the mother daughter
very well. Bernice wonder wht was Paloma doing in
Europe, the girl said no one knew, may she returned
becasuse she missed her mother. THe other one said may
be there's another reason why she returned. The other
girl shook her head and warn the girl to stop talking.
Paloma was in her cabin. Her eyes swollen. SHe had
been crying. SHe remembered Diego's wores tht he can't
live without her and he didn't want to go back to
London. She remembered he said tht was the first time
he was in love with a woman. Paloma was angry and she
trashed the whole place. She stopped in front of the
mirror and cried.
Berniece brought the soup for Diego but Diego told her
to put the plate away and help close the curtain coz
the sunlights was blinding him. He didn't even
remember tht he promised to bring her to Veracruz.
Diego signed some stuff for Aurelio. Aurelio took the
documents and decided to tell him tht Paloma had
returned and she's in her cabin. Later Bernice came
and told him tht sh'e's ready.
On the way out Aurelio whispered tht he told Paloma
tht Diego was married. Diego asked if Aurelio asked
was she in Europe looking for him? Aurelio said he
didn't have the guts to ask tht question when she was
in tht situation. Aurelio said she wanted to look for
her mom. Diego told Aurelio to give wht ever she
needed to find her mother and try to find out wht did
she do in Europe. And he wanted to know everything
when she got back later.
Bernice called after him coz it's getting late.
Aurelio suggested he go to see Paloma first but he
refused. Diego tell Berniece tht it was a harvestning
problem. She said it's OK if they leave tomorrow.
Diego said no, he need to get away from the hacienda.
Aurilio came to see Paloma. He said he had one good
news and one bad news for her. She wanted to know the
bad news first. He said Diego knew she returned.
Paloma was angry coz Aurelio told him. Aurelio said it
wasn't him, he just knew. He said Diego wanted to know
wht she did in Europe. She asked about the good news.
He said Diego got her a van to use to find Soledad.
Aurelio accidently said he told Diego about her
returned and she caught him. She didn't want him to
say Diego's name anymore coz he didn't exist. Paloma
wiped her tears.
Diego was restless. He decided to go back to the
Hacienda because of the harvesting problem.
He whispered to Aurelio where is Paloma. Aurelio said
she's still in her cabin. He ran to the cabin. She
called her name and Paloma jumped when she heard the
name. Her eyes filled with tears.
