El Cafetolero: Paloma entered the interview room and
Diego escorted his grandma to the meeting room.
Hernandez was impressed by Paloma's work experience in
Paris, London and Germany while studying there. When
he asked about her certificates she said she'll ask
the people there will post her the certificates, she
tried to show her pasport to prove tht she's been to
those country. Hernandez said no need. He wondered why
the references she named were from abroad especially
Germany. She said she never worked in New Mexico yet
coz she had to get back coz her mom didn't want to
follow her to Europe. She nodded repeatedly when
Hernandez mentioned tht Fabian himself will choose his secretary.
Diego said to Fabian, tht can't be his secretary
(Graciela) Fabian said he used to hae a hot secretary
but he had to fire her and soon he'll get a secretary.
Diego wonder where will the interview be held? here or
at the hotel. Fabian jokingly said 'first here, then
at the hotel."
Paloma finished her interview and bid farewell to hernandez.
Diego excused himself from the meeting room, he wanted
to make a private phonecall.
He went out and Paloma was just across the room, shen
he entered Fabian's office, Paloma turned towards
Fabian's office and asked the secretary if he boss
(Fabian) is in. Graciela rudely said Fabian is in the
meeting, Paloma asked if she could get Fabian's card
for her. Graciela opened Fabian's room. Paloma's back
was towards the door and on the inside we can see
Diego talking on the phone. Graciela closed the door
and headed towards a series of locker. Deigo was
asking Aurelio about the search for Paloma. Graciela
asked him if she could get him anything, he said no.
Graciela went out and gave the card to Paloma. When
Paloma showed no sign of leaving she asked if Paloma
wanted more cards for collection. Paloma said no, and
thanked her for her help. She walked towards the
elevator. Diego came out right after she walked away
and she bumped into Bernando who had just arrived and
his files scattered across the floor. Paloma
apologized and help him gather his things and then she
went to the elevator waiting for the door to open.
Diego saw Bernando and greeted him, they hug. Gosh...
he didn't see Paloma at the elevator. She went into
the elevator and Diego and Bernando went to the
meeting room.
Diana brought Berniece to her apartment and Berniece
loved the decoreations. She said she had to make Diego
love this apartment. She doubt tht she'll be able to
make him stay.
Diana asked her to sit so tht they can talk seriously.
Diana said she knew tht Bernice and Barbara were close
but after their grandpa died, and the will had been
read, Fabian and his family got the el Cafetalero
business and Diego and his family got the hacienda and
the plantation. The probelm is their grandpa stated
inthe will tht only the male descendants of the family
will inherit the wealth and tht's why Fabian and
Barbary really want a son and Diana is worried about
herself and Daniela who mmight not get anything at all
if Diego didn't get a son.
Berniece admitted tht she never made love with Diego
coz before their marriage she agreed to his conditions
but now she loved him even more. She's worried about
Diego's past affair with a plantation worker and she
was pregnant with his son. She might come back and
take him back from her. Diana said they knew now Diego
never been with other women so Bernice had to find
a good way to attract Diego.
Paloma told Gabriel tht she went to the doctor and she
might need to go back there again coz her chicken pox
is getting infectious. Gabriela told her to get into
her uniform and get back to work. She told nancy tht
she was very happy at the interview.
Barbara was looking at a form tht Hernandez suggested
to her. She was not in agreement because the girl
(paloma) was too beautiful. She just want an ugly
secretary for her husband. Later Diana and Berniece
came and Berniece praised tht the girl in the picture
was so beautiful. Later they left to the meeting room.
Hernandez looked at Paloma's form and said "Pity".
At the meeting everyone was happy tht Fabian was able
to increase the sales in El Cafetalero. It has been a
record for the company to achieve 60% higher sales
than the previous year. Fabian beat his own father in
coffee business. Bernando now handling the shipping
company coz Fabian became the manager at El
Cafetalero. Diego was also praised for making sure the
plantation produce quality coffee.
Fabian was confident tht they can get more by
expanding their business to America which is selling
mixed Mexican coffee, he planned to distribute their
pure mexican coffee throughout America. Dona Inez
liked the sound of tht. Fabian planned to build their
own factory and distribution centre there.
Juan Francisco was not in agreement coz America
already had a big company supplying the coffee and the
company was a firm one, impossible for them to defeat
them. Juan Francisco told her son to wht they are
doing now, before overlooking tht far. Juan Francisco
later praised Diego's work during the harvesting
season and now he said Diego should come live in the
city. Deigo refused, he said his father never left the
hacienda, so he also won't leave tht place.
Fabian asked about the mysterous envelope tht
Don Lorenzo left. They had to wait another 3 years.
Rented room: Paloma came back and her mom asked about
her interview. She said it was great, she told her mom
tht she used the name Elena Olivares. Her mom didn't
agree she used tht name. Paloma said "Elena Olivares"
was the one who travelled around tht world, not Teresa
Suarez. She said she had to fill the blanks in the
application form to get the job. She wish tht she had
her father's name. She asked if her mom wanted to tell
her father's name. Soledad didn't answer.
Soledad still didn't agree tht Paloma used another
name. She said the importatnt thing is, Elena Olivares
had been to places and she didn't live here. She
happily told her mom tht the only true thing she filled
in the form was their telephone number. She told them
she went to Europe to study Executive Assistant and
she even listed the names of the universities tht she
"studied in". She laughed and said the man asked for
her certificates and she said tht she'll asked the
university to send them from Europe. Soledad worried
tht she might get arrested for providing false
information. Paloma said she wanted to start a new
life. Soledad wish tht she didn't have to lie about
her past. Paloma said the interview didn't have a clue
about the places she wrote in the form, so he had to
believe wht she told him. Soledad didn't believe tht
anyone would hire her.
Paloma asked if she's ready to hear her reference name
tht she put in the form? Soledad gave blank
expression. She laughed and said, Mario Pichardo.
Manager of Pichardo Ltd. and Claudio De la Costa owner
of San Diego Enterprise. She got the name from a
magazine tht Nancy lent her. Soledad was more worried
and wish tht she won't get arrested for tht. Paloma
told her mom to stop worrying, no one will investigate
her, they'll just accept her story. She believe tht if
anyone call Mario Pichardo or Claudio dela Costa, no
one will answer them coz they'll be busy with
something else than answering a phone about Elena
Olivares. She said if she put regular names, she might
get caught anyway compared to using a famous, busy names.
Soledad said let's assume everything goes as planned,
what if Diego recognised her? Paloma said Diego and
Fabian are not tht close. They hardly meet. Soledad
said they'll meet sooner or later coz they're family.
Paloma said if they meet again, she'll be another woman.
Fabian said he need Diego's support in the America's
project. Diego wanted to get back to the hacienda as
soon as he can.
Later Berniece told him tht they're not going to Dona
Ines' house, she and Diana had a surprise for him.
They reached at the apartment. He seemed shocked when
Diana said the house belongs to him and his wife.
Later Diana left. Bernice can't want to show him
around the house. They went to the bed room. Diego
said he liked the house. Berniece said Diana arranged
everything for them. He said this is good coz they can
come there every time they come to Mexico city. Bernice
said she wanted to bring some books to the house and
put them at one corner. Diego said 'no!' she can't
take anything away from the hacienda. This apartment
is perfect for a two, three days stay. Their house
will always be the hacienda. Berniece said she'll
follow whtever he said, she was thinking tht he wanted
to feel comfortable there his family was hoping he
could spend more time in the city, near the office.
Diego said Fabian had his own job and he has his own
responsibility. He can't believe she discussed him
with his family. He didn't want to discuss work with
her. He warned her not to unpack his clothes and told
her to spend the best time at the apartment for as
long as she wanted to. He wanted to go back to the
hacienda tomorrow.
El Cafetolero: Fabian moved very close to Graciela and
asked her who were the women in front of his office.
She nervously said they were his final candidate for
the post of secretary sent by Hernandez so tht he
himself can choose the most suitable one. Graciela
turned towards Fabian and their nose touched. He said
he'd like her to do him a favour, call Hernandez to
meet him. Fabian walked into his office and Graciela
get to breathe at last.
Hotel: Paloma kept asking Nancy about the time. Nancy
complained tht she asked tht 29 times while she had
only been there for one and a half hour. It was only
9.30. Nancy said may be they'll call her in three or
four hours. Paloma was getting nervous and can't do
anything. She crumpled the paper in her hand. Then she
asked Nancy wht time it is again. Nancy told her to
look at her own watch.
Hernandez went to see Fabian. Fabian said he didn't
like any of the girls tht he sent to his office.
Hernandez said those were the most qualified ones.
Fabian said he thought Hernandez knew the type of
secretary tht he wanted. Hernandez said those women
are way better than Graciela. Fabian said any woman is
better than tht Graciela. He wanted him to give
another excuse. Hernandez said he can put up another
advertisement and it'll take another week to finish
the interview. Fabian told him to stop acting
ridiculous coz he knew tht those girls were not the
only ones tht came to the interview yesterday. He
demanded to see other application forms. Hernandez
said he had to do this, he had to pick the girls (he
tried to sit down but Fabian told him to stand up). He
said Fabian's wife was the one who chose the
secretaries and she wanted to keep it a secret.
Fabian decided to interview the final candidates coz
he can't wait for another interview to be held. He
said he'll accept Hernandez's excuse but if he did the
same again, he'll make sure tht Hernandez is fired.
Hernandez nervously walked out the door.
Bernice called Barbara and told her wht happened and
Diego told her tht only the hacienda will be their
home. Barbara suggested tht they come to the city more
often. Berniece hang up when Diego was on the way out.
Diego said he wanted to meet Fabian and wanted her to
make sure tht their luggage reach the airport. She
said she'll follow him home. She asked if they can go
back with the night flight coz she wanted to go
shopping with Diana. Later the doorbell rang, it was
Barbara's dad. Diego had to excuse himself coz he's
got a meeting to attend to.
Her dad told her tht they're out of business and now
they are left with nothing at all. She told her dad
not to worry coz as long as she lives, he'll never be
in trouble. Deigo's wealth is her wealth too and
she'll give him son tht will inherit their wealth. Her
dad was thankful and hugged her. A suspicious smile
slowly caught her dad's lips.
Fabian had chose his secretary, Claudia and warned her
tht any transaction they handle must be kept a secret
from Graciela and his wife, he wanted her to remember
his every word as long as she lives. Claudia
understood. Later Fabian arrived. Fabian told Graciela
to show Claudia her place.
Fabian asked for confirmation if tht was his new
secretary? Fabian said "Blame it on Barbara". She
chose a row of scary candidates. He said he wanted to
prove tht he's not choosy (like some people he knew).
Diego get the picture and Diego said come on, now
everybody knew his history with a plantation worker.
He jokingly said 'people said the coffee worker is a
professional'. Diego told him to stop talking. He was
angry. He didn't like him talking about his past.
Fabian apologized. Deigo said "she's important in my
life, but now she's gone and let it be for the sake of
this family."
Paloma was outside the atm machine listing down the
stuff she should buy. Later she went in and punch some amounts.
Diana and Berniece was at a boutique. Diana chose some
clothes and undergarments for Berniece so tht she can
impress Diego. Berniece hope it'll work and bought
them. on the way out, Diana said Bernice is a lot
better than any coffee beans collector. Just about tht
time Paloma turned into the entrance of tht boutique
and bumped into Berniece. Her shopping bag fell.
Paloma quickly apologize and help pick the bag. THey
locked eyes and smiled pleasantly. Paloma went in and
Diana and Berniece went out.
Hotel: Gabriela asked Nancy where was Paloma. Nancy
said she had to go to the hospital coz her chicken pox
was getting worse she almost had to call an ambulance!
Paloma wore her new suit and walked into El
Cafetolero. The receptionist smiled and recognised her
from yesterday's interview, she wonder if Mr. Sanchez
Sambrano called her to come to accept the job, she
didn't bet to answer tht coz she heard a familiar
laughter. She kept her back towards the voice and
walked to the end of the reception table, too nervous
to turn around.
Fabian was escorting Deigo out of his office, talking
about the new project and may be Diego would have to
come more often to the city.
Paloma still didn't turn around.

Margarieta the receptionist told Paloma/Elena tht
Fabian had already chose a secretary. But she said not
to worry coz he'll be looking for a new secretary soon
coz for the past 6 months, he already had 12
secretaries, so in short time, there'll be another
vacancy for her. Paloma/Elena looked sad.
Margarita said FA
Fbian's secretary, Graciela was not an
easy person to deal with. She said Paloma/Elena should
try make an appointment with Fabian after his wife
left. Paloma/Elena agreed to wait. she went to a
comfortable chair and read some magazines. Margarita
was so nice and helpful.
Later Barbara was walking out of Fabian's office,
Graciela called after her and asked if she liked her
husband's new secretary. Barbara hope tht Graciela
will continue giving her information. Graciela
started to gloat but Barbara already walked away not
interested in continuing the conversation.
Margarita quickly called Elena/Paloma when she saw
Barbara went out. She told Margarita to help keep her
bag and one of the magazines. Margarita smiled when
she saw Paloma/Elena crossed her fingers for luck.
Graciela gave the new secretary, Claudia some agenda
for her to handle. Paloma/Elena walked gracefully
towards her and asked to make an appointment with
Fabian Sanchez Zambrano. Graciela was rude and Claudia
was looking neutral and nodding all the time. Graciela
said the post had been filled and Fabian won't be
interested in meeting her. Paloma/elena said she want
an appointment with Fabian anyway. Before leaving
Paloma/Elena said she's stubborn, she'll make sure
Fabian Sanchez Sambrano meet her.
Graciela warned Claudia to be careful coz tht woman was
interested in replacing her. Claudia blankly said,
"You think so?" Graciela said "Are you stupid or
what?" Claudia again blankly said, "Me?"
Diego was ready to go back home. Bernice said she left
some of their clothes there because they might be
coming back to tht apartment. Diego asked if she didn't
like living at the hacienda. She said she'll be happy
anywhere as long as she's with Diego.
Paloma/Teresa came back to the hotel and Nancy was
worried coz she had been gone the whole day.
Paloma/Teresa said tht everything had been wrong and
they already chosen a secretary. She had to buy a new
clothes when she go to the office just now and used up
all the money she had. Paloma said the suit she bought
is very useful coz in can be wore inside out. She said
she'll sure get another chance for the job coz
tomorrow she'll be going back to see Fabian Sanchez
Sambrano. Nancy was happy for her and wish her luck.
She's a fan of Fabian Sanchez Sambrano.
Leonor and Josefina were at the kitchen, when Leonor
left, Berniece asked Josefina for updates. Josefina
said she can relax now coz Paloma is no where to be
found. Berniece smiled.
Paloma came home and Soledad told her tht some men
came looking for her. The man around the corner came
asking for money tht they borrowed, also the guy with
the sewing machine company asking for this month's
instalment. Even the meat seller came and said if they
didn't pay, he'll stop sending meat to them. Soledad
hope by tomorrow she get get some mney from the ATM
machine. Paloma was quiet. Soledad asked why she
looked sad. She told her mom tht she went back to el
Cafetolero. Soledad wonder why she did tht when they
didn't call her to be there. Paloma told her tht
someone else got the job. Soledad said so she had
spent the money and went to the office just to get to
know tht she didn't get the job. She said they should
save up some money not spend it on somethng stupid.
Paloma almost cried.
Barbara asked Fabian if he got some information about
th e plantation worker from Deigo. Fabian said he knew
tht woman was important in Diego's life by the way he
reacted when Fabian asked about her. He said tht woman
might be dangerous to them.
Bernice wore the sexy clothes she bought. Diego said
she looked beautiful and then he said good night and
went to sleep.
Morning...
Diego was all dressed up. He pulled up Berniece's
blanket to cover her shoulder. and then he went out.
Bernice was not asleep.
Deigo was looking his van's keys. Aurelio said it was
in his office. Diego said he'll wait for Aurelio
outside. Aurelio went to the office to get the keys
when he was opening the drawer, Bernice walked across
the door and Aurelio saw her in her sexy clothes. He
was stunned. Bernice saw him too. Aurelio apologize
and said he's there to get Diego's key. Berniece
closed the door connecting to her room.
Paloma/Teresa was lectured by Gabriela who realised
tht she had been out the whole day yesterday and asked
for documents to prove tht she was at the hospital.
Paloma/Teresa failed to do tht, Gabriela warned her
tht if this happen again, she'll lose her job coz many
other people are interested in her job right now.
Graciela arrived at work and Margarita passed her some
letters. She asked if Graciela had written down the
appointment tht Elene Olivares asked for. Graciel said
of curse she didn't forget. but she's sure tht Fabian
won't have time to meet with tht woman. Margarita said
it's up to Fabian to decide. After Graciela left,
Paloma/Elena called. Margarita said she already
reminded Graciela about the appointment and maybe
Elena should get to el Cafetolero right now coz she
didn't know when he'll meet her. Paloma/Elena said
she'll be there right away.
Deigo went searching for Jeremy and Juancho. Dieog had
to find them at their room.
Gracied informed Fabian of his appointment for the
whole day. Later Graciel asked to speak to him for 5
minutes. Fabian seemed angry but agree to meet her.
She told Fabian about a woman who wanted to meet him,
Elena Olivares who wanted to ask about the secretary's
post. Fabian was on the phone and listening to
Graciela between conversations on the phone. After he
hang up he looked angry and said told the woman tht
there's no job for her.
Jeremy was sleeping when Diego came. He was having a
tequila party the night before. Diego said is this why
he left London? He's disappointed when Jeremy did
nothing to find Paloma. Jeremy said Juancho was
handling the search quite well with the workers. Later
Juancho came out of the shower. Diego shook his head
couldn't believe tht they were both partying with the
workers while they were suppose to go looking for
Paloma. Juancho told him not to worry coz everything
is going fine. Diego was angry and yelled tht he paid
him not just to tell him tht everything is OK. Juancho
said if he want, he'll submit the search report for him.
Diego told Jeremy to get ready coz he need him to
follow him to a hacienda. He's trying to fix Jeremy's
ruined life.
Paloma/Teresa asked Nancy's opinion about her clothes.
Nancy told her to stop worrying. Paloma/Teresa said
she can't stop coz anyone would be worried if they are
meeting Fabian Sanchez Sambrano. Nancy said if it's
her, she'll die. Paloma/Teresa said she'll be there
during lunch time. Nancy help reverse Paloma's suit
and match it with a shirt and thinks now it's perfect.
Josefina met Aurelio secretly and they were all over
each other again but Josefina wanted to talk about
their future, she said she can't be his lover forever,
she wanted to know how long are they going to be like
this? she wanted to make it formal. Aurelio said he
can't just leave Leonor. Josefina said he must choose.
He said he'll have to think about it.
Paloma/Teresa wore her new suit and Nancy loved it.
Nancy said if she got the job, don't forget to
introduce her to Fabian Sanchez Sambrano.
Paloma/Teresa crossed her fingers on both her hands
and told her to pray for her. Nancy did the same.
Diego and Jeremy went to Don Manuel's hacienda. Jeremy
was attracted to a young Matilda who brought their
drinks. He can't take his eyes off her. Deigo was
interested in buying coffee from Don Manuel. Don
Manuel said this is not the first offer he got, coz
his plantation was the only one tht still doing the
harvesting. Diego wanted to process the coffee in
Casablanca and sell it through El Cafetolero. Don
Manuel said anyone will see tht as an opportunity.
Later Don Manuel introduced Matilda as his niece. He
wanted to send her to a university so tht she'll have a
better life. Jeremy was grinning at Matilda.
Don Manuel agree to sign an agreement with Diego.
Paloma/Elena arrived at El Cafetolero. She was running
out of the elevator towards Margarita's desk.
Margarita said Fabian is going out for lunch.
margarita helped running after Fabian who was walking
into the elevator but he ignored her, he didn't even
look at her. (awww this Margarita is sweet and helpful
lah) Margarita sure tht he'll be back after lunch.
Margarita told her not to give up. Paloma/Elena said
he didn't even look at Margarita who worked there, if
it has been her, he might just walked through her or
ran her down. Margarita asked if she had lunch.
Paloma/Elena nodded weakly and said yes (which of
course means no).
Diego sent Jeremy back. Jeremy was so interested in
tht girl. He wanted to meet her again. Diego said tht
girl was like only 18. Jeremy said Diego can't be the
only one in love. He has the rights too. Before
leaving Diego saw Aurelio and offered him a lift back
to the hacienda. He was holding a shopping bag.
Aurelio asked about the search for Paloma. Deigo said
they found nothing. Aurelio said maybe Paloma will
return for the next harvesting season.
Margarita and Elena/Paloma were eating at the
reception table. Paloma/Elena asked if she knew
Fabian's cousin. She said Diego hardly came to the
office. She said he was there the day Paloma/Elena
came for the interview. Margarita said he was so cute.
She thinks Diego is not like Fabian at all, he seemed
like loving husband. Paloma/Elena seemed uneasy.
Margarita asked wht was wrong? Paloma/Elena said she's
full and swallowed the last chunk. Margarita said
Diego's wife was also there on the day Diego arrive
for the meeting. She was so beautiful and elegant.
Margarita thinks they look perfect together and their
life would be more perfect after they get an heir.
Paloma/Elena tried to smile.
Berniece told Diana tht she wore the sexy stuff but
Diego didn't even realise she's there. Later Diego
arrived with Aurelio. Aurelio was gaping for a while
watching Berniece who later saw him and blushed.
Aurelio went to met Josefina at the kitchen and gave
her a sexy closes to Josefina. It looked exactly like
the sexy clothes tht Berniece wore the night before.
Later Leonor came to the kitchen and Aurelio quickly
put the clothes back into the shopping bag. Leonor saw
the shopping bag and Aurelio said it ws for her.
Josefina was angry when she heard Leonor said she'll
wear it tonight. Later Bernice came asking about the
boiled water coz she wanted to make some spaghetti.
Josefina angrily said the boiled water is ready.
Whoaaa all the 3 women tht have hots for Aurelio were
in the same room. LOL. and he didn't even walk like a
man! Leonor can feel tht something is wrong.
Gabriela wanted to wait for Paloma/Teresa and told
Nancy to take the lunch break. Later the phone rings
and it was Soledad. She wants to talk to Teresa
Suarez. Gabriela said she was not back from her lunch,
maybe she went to the hospital coz she was not well.
Soledad was surprised coz Paloma didn't tell her
anything about being sick and having to go to the
hospital. Gabriela smiled knowingly and said she's the
mother, she should know tht her daughter is not well.
Later she hung up. When the phone rang again, she
ignored it.
Paloma told Margarita tht she can't wait anymore, it's
already 5. Graciela said she's wasting her time coz
Fabian will never meet with her. Graciela told her to
stop harassing her boss. The job is filled and the
guy is married. Later Fabian returned and Paloma/Elena
quickly ran to him and begged for his attention.
Graciela told him tht this was the lady tht asked for
an appointment with him. Fabian looked at her and
said, there's no job for her. Then he walked to his
office and told his assistant to get the company from
Europe on the line. Graciela approached Paloma/Elena
and asked if she's satisfied now?
Paloma/elena controlled her voice when she talked to
Margarita. There's nothing she can do and she had to
leave. Margarita watched her walk away with a sympathy look.
Paloma/Teresa returned to the hotel and Nancy gave her
a note left by Gabriela. She fired Paloma/Teresa.

Hotel: Paloma/Teresa was sad upon reading the letter.
She was fired. Nancy looked at her sympatically.
Night...
Paloma walked home A woman said she left her bills with
her mom and complained tht she can't even pay 100
pesos after 15 days.
Rented Room: Her mom was hand sewing a cloth. Soledad
was glad tht Paloma returned. She said she called
earlier to tell her tht they need money but her boss
told her tht she went to the hospital. She's worried
tht they owe money to so mmany people and maybe
they're going to need a little of her salary to settle
their debts.
Paloma cried and told her tht she was fired because
she had been going to El Cafetalero for 3 days but she
got no job. Soledad was angry because she already got
a good job, she didn't have to chase after a job at El
Cafetalero. Luckily they still have their savings..
Paloma cried harder and coughed and told her mom tht
she used up all their savings to buy a new clothes coz
she need to look good while meeting Fabian. She badly
need to work with tht company. Soledad asked was it
worth it? Paloma cried and apologize. she cried on her
mom's lap. Soledad started crying too.
El Cafetalero: Claudia picked up the phone it was
Barbara. She asked about Fabian. Claudia reported tht
he spent the whole day at the office an donly went out
during lunch break, she volunteered to read out the
names of people involve in a meeting with Fabian but
Barbara refused to listen. Claudia informed Barbara a
bout a woman who had been trying to talk to Fabian
inn order to get a job as a secretary in the office.
Barbara asked if she's beautiful? Claudia said yes.
Casablanca: Berenice was ready for bed in her killer
nightdress, she sat on the bed pushing way the
blanket. Diego came to her an kissed her forehead.
Then he pulled the blanket to cover her body. Then he
went to his side of the bed and slept.
Rented room: Paloma was looking through the job
advertisement section in the news paper. Soledad asked
the price of the clothes she bought, Paloma said
better not. She wore the same suit, but minus the
sleeves. She said she dreamt of a sales woman running
after her. Soledad hope she didn't bump into the
people tht they owe money to. Paloma asked Soledad to
bless her before she leave for job hunting.
Aurelio went to Josefina and gave her another night
dress for her.
Paloma stopped by a souvenir shop to rearrange herself
and later she was whistling and running after a taxi.
Aurelio waited patiently for Josefina to get ready.
When she walked in front of him with tht clothes,
Aurelio said it's not the same. Josefina wondered
where did he see tht clothes. (Berenice was listening
from behind the wall. She knew tht Aurelio saw her in
tht kind of clothes). Aurelio said he saw it in a
magazine, a very high class magazine. Berenice smiled.
Paloma/Elena went to El Cafetalero and Margarita
greeted her. Paloma/Elena said, now she had a lot of
free time to wait for Fabian Sanchez Zambrano. She sat
on the comfortable chair and started reading some
magazines. After sometime, she finished reading the
magazines. And finally it was late afternoon and
Fabian didn't come to work. She decided to go home.
She kissed Margarita goodbye.
Berenice told Diana tht she wore all the sexy stuff
tht she can think of but it didn't work. She never
even imagine wearing those things. Diego was still
thinking about tht plantation worker. She was getting
angry.
Later she went to join her husband for breakfast.
Diego was already leaving. Aurelio was there, had just
finished talking to Diego. Berenice said she'll wait
patiently for him to return, she'll have nice long
bath, dressed up, wait for night to come and sleep.
Diego kissed her goodbye. After he left, Leonor told
Aurelio to let Carlos know tht she and Josefina wanted
to go to the marked to get some stock for their
kitchen. Berenice asked if they're leaving her alone
at the house? Leonor said if she wanted to, she can
follow them. Berenice said 'no' coz she prefer to stay
in the bath tub for a long long time. Aurelio's
eyebrow lifted and looked at Berenice who was eating
her breakfast. She looked back at him and he excused
himself.
Paloma/Elena was at the El Cafetalero again. Margarita
told her tht Fabian is on his way to the elevator now
an d she must make her move immediately, if not,
she'll miss him again. Fabian was walking hurriedly
towards the elevator followed closely by Claudia and
Graciela. Paloma/Elena quickly approach him and said
she a need a little of his time to talk to him. Fabian
said time is not the thing tht he had. He asked
Graciela what was tht woman doing here again. Graciela
said tht woman was so stubborn and pushy. She's been
to the office for 20 days in a row, because the
receptionist had become her friend. Fabian said he
didn't want to see tht woman's face ever again. She
told Graciela to inform the security officer to make
sure tht woman won't be able to enter the office
building. Graciela gave him his hand phone and off he go.
Margarita looked at Elena/Paloma with sympathy. She
asked what is her job. Ploma/ elena told her tht she
used to work at a hotel as a receptionist. Margarita
didn't understand why Elena/Paloma came to the office
for 20 days when nothing had changed a bit.
Elena/Paloma said she really need to work there no
matter what.
Aurelio was restless, he kept remembering wht Berenice said.
Berenice took out the black sexy clothes tht she wore
when Aurelio saw her and then she put it back in the
drawer and later closed her room's door.
Aurelio walked upstairs to Diego's room.

Don Manule's hacienda: Diego was happy to see Jeremy
all freshen up, clean shaven and without the smell of
liquor. He was anxious to see Matilde. Don Manuel told
them tht he got no workers, those who helped him were
his family and friends. Matilde came to give them
their drinks. Jeremy watched her closely. He offered
himself to work at the hacienda. Don Manuel had no
objection against tht, but he won't be able to pay
him, he'll just give him a place to live and something
to eat, Jeremy said tht was more than enough then he
looked at Matlde who was smiling at him.
Berenice was sitting comfortably in her bubble bath.
She hear footsteps heading towards her room. Aurelio
stood just outside the door. She stood up and put on
her robe, she went to the door and asked who was tht.
She stood right next to the door. She can hear Aurelio
breathing. She asked, "Josefina?" (peh). Aurelio pushed
the door open slowly. Berenice had her back towards
the door. She said, "If tht's you Aurelio, come in."
Aurelio walked in.
Diego was walking out side towards the house.
Aurelio was kissing Berenice's neck. Then suddenly
Diego's voice broke the silence, calling for Aurelio.
He quickly left the room and when to the kitchen and
drank a whole jug of water.
Diego went to Berenice who was shivering. She hugged him.
Paloma told her mom tht she didn't get any job.
Soledad was worried coz their sewing machine was not
working and other people refuse to lend them any
money, not until their pay their debts. Soledad tried
to pry open the sewing machine. Soledad was worried
ang started crying. She said now they should have work
at a strawberry plantation. Paloma said tht was a life
tht they left behind and they won't return to tht kind of life.
Aurelio was sitting outside alone, drinking and
regretting wht he did. He said tht shouldn't had
happen. "Diego is my brother." Later Leonor came. She
wonder if she can help him. Aurelio said he can't tell
her his problems. She told him to stop drinking and
asked him to came for bed. She told him to go first,
he'll be there later. Leonor showed the clothes she
bought for him, she wore it for him. Aurelio looked
away and tears started falling from his eyes.
Paloma and Soledad were watching TV. They watch a
funny candid camera show and was laughing and chewing
popcorn. Later someone knocked their door so hard. It
was their landlord. She said she can't sleep, not
until they pay their rent. Paloma said she'll pay
tomorrow. The landlady threatened to throw away their
belongings if they didn't pay.
Paloma and Soledad were thinking of selling some of
their stuff. Paloma said maybe they should sell the TV
but Soledad said no, because tht was the first thing
they ever own. Even if they sell all their stuff, they
won't be able to pay their debts. Paloma said if it's
not enough she'll have to sell her watch (the one
Diego gave her).
Diego was in his study listening to the song tht
Paloma gave to him in exchange with the watch. He was
enjoying the song and the Berenice came and wondered
who sang the song. She thought the song was weird. She
went to get the tape's cover but Diego went angry and
grabbed it from her. She grabbed it back and Diego
lost control of himself and grabbed her neck,
strangling her. He said she can't take his stuff from
the hacienda or she'll be leaving for a long long
time. Berenice was surprise to see this Diego. he let
go of her neck and started drinking. She yelled tht he
can't forget tht plantation worker. Diego said he loved
his past and she can't take tht away from him.
Day...
Paloma and Soledad were queuing up to sell their
sewing machine and radio cassette player. A man wanted
to buy the broken sewing machine for a low price.
Paloma was angry and started babbling out loud,
scolding the guy. The guy walked away. Later another
guy approached them interested in buying their radio
cassete player. Paloma wanted to sell it for 1000
pesos but tht guy was gonna pay 100 pesos for it.
Paloma was angry again and started yelling tht he's
robbing her, she and her mom carry the heavy stuff out
of the shop.
They went to a pawn shop. The guy at the counter
showed them the amount tht he can offer. Paloma and
Soledad knew tht the amount was not enough. Paloma
sadly pulled off her watch and gave it to the guy. The
guy wrote an amount and she nodded in agreement with
the offer. She wanted the guy to take a really good
care of her beloved watch coz she'll be back to pick
it up. Soledad knew it was hard for Paloma to give
away tht watch. she hugged her daughter and kissed her
bare shoulder.
Berenice followed Diego who was walking so fast. She
begged for his forgiveness for wht she did last night.
He reminded her tht they agreed to respect each
other's past. Berenice apologize again. He accepted
her apology and get into his car to send Berenice to
the airport coz she's going to spend a few days at the
Mexico city. Aurelio asked if he wanted him to follow,
Diego wanted Aurelio to take care of the plantation
while he's gone. Before entering the car, Berenice
cast a look towards Aurelio who looked back at her.
Elena/Paloma walked into the El Cafetolero but the
security officer called her name and stopped her from
entering. He said he had direct orders from Mr Sanchez
Sambrano. He showed her a document with her picture on
in and he showed her the way out.
Paloma/elena caught Fabian on the way out of the
building. She begged a minute of his time and said
Fabian must respect her as a human and cannot closed
his door for her. She was yapping and Fabian watched
her and smiled. Palomaa/Elenas aid she had a dream to
work in his office. Fabian said if he gave her a
minute of his time, would she promise to stay out of
his office? Paloma/Elena smiled. Fabian opened the
car's door and said, she had an hour to be with him
and join him for lunch. Paloma/Elena was more than
happy to accept and enter the car. She said he won't
regret it.
Diana came to see Berenice at her apartment in Mexico
city. Dieana asked why did she leave Diego. Berenice
said she can't take it anymore, she had to be away.
Diana said there's must be solution, Diego must have a
weakness. Diana suggested tht she see a shrink,
psychiatrist. Berenice was angry at first, but Diana
said if tht plantation worker knew Diego's weakness,
Berenice must try anything she can to discover wht it is.
Fabian and Paloma/Elena were sitting at their table.
She ordered tequila and scotch. Fabian told her to
start talking. Paloma/Elena began tht Fabian is a
scary man and he let her down. She said he seemed so
nice and approachable in the magazines. He said asking
her to lunch is not good enough? Fabian said he told
her tht his company didn't have any job opening and he
ca't just create a job for her. He said he already has
two secretaries. Paloma/Elena wondered why he need two
secretaries? was he too elegant. Her two secretaries
were both old and grumpy. Fabian asked why does she
think she's good for the job. Paloma/Elena said she
was obsessed to work with him, she got the capability,
the stamina, the experience to work with him.
When the menu came, Paloma/elena deliberately ordered a
french cuisine and tht impressed Fabian coz she spoke
fluent French. She added tht used to work in Paris,
Germany and London. Fabian smiled and said tht meant
she can speak 3 languages. Paloma smiled and nodded.
Fabian said he's thinking of something nice for her.
Paloma/Elena's face glowed like a brand new bulb.
Claudia nudged Graciela when she saw Elena and Fabian
walking towards them. Fabian told Graciela to get
Hernandez to bring a form for Senora Elena.
Paloma/Elena struck a macho pose (like the one did by
wrestlers) towards Claudia and Graciela who seemed stunned.
Hernandez liked Fabian's choice because Elena Olivares
had been his first choice when he interviewed her.
Fabian told him to prepare a contract for Ms Elena
Olivares. Paloma grinned to Hernandez. Hernandez asked
if she'll be one of his secretaries? Fabian said he
did'nt want any problem with his wife. Fabian said
there is a vacancy, she'll be their new receptionist.
Paloma/Elena's smile quickly disappeared. Fabian said
Margarita wasn't doing her job. She was not efficient
and she always left her counter. She need someone who

Cuando Seas Mia 14th ep
This ep i didn't get to see all coz my tape went
bizarre. I can't see anything but blue screen. I only
manage to see the last half hour. So if ada sapa2 yang
tengok this ep, please fill me in ok? I don't know wht
happen to Margarita, the sweet receptionist yang
diganti oleh Paloma/Elena.
ok.. back to the review (the last 1/2 hour)
Berenice went to see a psychiatrist. She told him tht
before her marriage she thought love was enough to
lead a marriage life but she was wrong. She never
thought sexual intercourse was important in marriage.
Now look wht happen to her and Diego. Now she felt
something is much needed in her life. The doctor
understands what she meant. He wanted her to think of
herself. Diego might had some kind of problem. She had
to control her obsession. and in a long term it might
become dangerous. She can't stay married to someone
who didn't love her.
Later Berenice was with Barbara (who was smoking like
a chimney). Berenice complained tht the doctor told
her tht she was the one tht have a problem. Diego was
a romantic person and she was a woman who obsessed of
his love. Barbara asked if Diego loved her? Bernice
said he liked her but he loved tht plantation worker.
Barbara asked wht was she going to do next? For the
time being she didn't have any plan but she would do
anything tht she could. If she failed, she'll try
again and again.
Later Fabian arrived from work. When he turned to
close the door, Barbara quickly passed the cigarette
to Berenice and blew the last smoke from her mouth.
Berniece pretended to smoke the cigarette and end up
coughing. Fabian saw Berenice and asked 'you smoke
too?" Berenice said yes. He went to kiss his wife and
later welcomed Berenice by kissing her cheek. Fabian
looked at Berenice for a long time and smiled.
Berenice smiled back. Barbara was not comfortable with
them smiling at each other.
Diego was angry and talking to Juancho. He said he
can't stand it when Juancho's men keep bring the wrong
woman. Paloma was not the same as any other woman.
Juancho said they tried thier best and he should be
angry coz they never seen Paloma and maybe Paloma was
using another name. They only knew her nickname and
there has been a lot of confusion. Diego was yelling
again. Juancho said maybe Diego should join them in
the search so tht there will be no confusion at al.
Diego yelled tht he'll do tht if he had the time and
woulnd't have to pay him to search for Paloma.
Juancho suggested tht they stop the search for a while
because it's getting expensive and Paloma was the one
who didn't want to be found. If tht wht she really
wants, they will never find her.
Diego said the search will continue and he'll pay wht
ever cost tht needed to be paid, money is not a
problem to him.
Later Aurelio came to join them. He told Diego tht
they had received several sacks of coffee from Don
Manuel's plantation. Diego asked only now the coffee
arrive? He wondered how long it will take for Don
Manuel to complete the harvesting process. Aurelio
didn't know but he can say tht they were very very
slow. Diego was tensed.
Don Manuel was getting drunk and smoking. Jeremy was
with him, helping him pour another glass of tequila.
Don Manuel said their harvesting process will be over
in two weeks. Jeremy agreed and said the longest time
it'll take is 15 days. don Manuel said one day he'll
return Jeremy's kindness to him. Jeremy said he didn't
have to. Friendship is much more important. Don Manuel
was pouring another glass of tequila and yelled for
Matilde. Matilde came and he told her to get another
bottle for him because he wanted to celebrate the
success of harvesting this season. Later he was
babbling and fell asleep.
Jeremy asked Matilde if don Manuel was asleep. Matilde
said Don Manuel can't drink too much like he used to
do. She asked for him to help her bring Don Manuel to
his room. They tossed Don Manuel to his bed. She later
help pull his boots. Jeremy asked if she wanted him to
wait. She said 'no'. coz he'll only be awake tomorrow.
Matilde closed the door and Jeremy left. She looked at
Don Manuel.
Fabian, Barbara and Berenice were having dinner. She
told them she was so lonely at the hacienda, but had
to stay there because Diego liked it there. Fabian
asked for how long will she be there. Berenice said
she was planning to be there for a week but she had to
go back tomorrow. All these happened because of 'tht
woman'. Barbara said it's not good for her to leave
Diego at the hacienda. Fabian asked if she can leave
Diego. Berenice said actually she was here to ask him
something. He had known Diego since childhood and they
had been living together in London. Barbara excused
herself to go and make coffee.
FAbian asked why Diego's past was so important to
Berenice. She said he's her husband and she needed to
know who was she living with. He said it's too late,
but wht would she like to know? Berenice said she need
to know anything tht he can tell her. He asked if she
didn't trust wht Diego told her. Did she think her
husband was lying to her? She was quiet. Fabian said
he's sad to say tht wht Diego said was all true. When
they were in London, he never seen or heard him having
an affair with a woman. If Diego had been with a
woman, he would be the first to know. Berenice said if
tht so, why didn't he know about Diego's affair with
tht plantation worker. Fabian said tht happened at the
hacienda. He was in London tht time. Actually since
tht ie Diego started to keep secrets from him.
Later both of them were in silence. He looked right
into her eyes and asked, "Do you want him?" Berenice
looked away, she was uncomfortable. She said, "Yes".
Fabian said if tht so, he can say now tht she'll never
get wht she wanted. If he had been her, he'll just be
comfortable with wht available and will do nothing to
ruin wht he has. She has to stop expecting something
from Diego. Berenice said "it's something tht is easy
to say." He stood up and sat next to her. He said he
sympathized with her and he's worried about wht is
happening to her marriage, he was also worried about
her. Berenice looked away. He continued tht if she
need a friend to talk to, he's ready to listen to her.
He'll be a good assistant and sometimes, only a man
can understand another man.
Matilde told Jeremy tht Don Manuel knew tht he can't
drink tht much. Jeremy said he noticed tht Matilde
care for her uncle. She said if he continue to drink,
his liver will be swollen. Jeremy told her to stop
worrying. He asked for how long will she be at the
hacienda? she was not sure. Her uncle told her tht he
will pay for her education so tht she can stay at the
hacienda. She said she might stay there for a long
time. She asked him where will he go after the
harvesting season ends? De asked if he's leaving too.
Jeremy said he didn't know, he's comfortable at the
hacineda. And his life was getting uncontrollable. She
asked if it's because of her. He said yes. He held her
face but later Don Manuel's voice can be heard calling
for Matilde. She left him and went to her uncle.
Day...
El Cafetalero: Paloma/Elena was at the receptionist
table, wearing a head phone and answering a call.
Later Graciela and Claudia arrived. Paloma/Elena
greeted them and said good thing tht they arrived
early. Paloma/elena drank her coffee. Graciela asked
for how long did she think she'll be in the company
and teasing them? Paloma/Elena said she'll be there
longer tht she planned to be. Graciela was disgusted
and walked away. Paloma/Elena jokingly said, "oh, my
heart hurts..."
Later the grey haired man (the one tht was always seen
with Fabian and the Sanchez Sambrano, i didn't catch
his name). He was friendly and greeted Paloma/Elena.
He asked if she slapped anyone tht day. She smiled and
looked at her pen. She said she had something to ask
him about Mr Sanchez Sambrano. She wondered why Fabian
keeps firing his secretaries? Tht grey haired guy said
Fabian was choosy and he treated his secretaries like
slaves and he wanted them follow his each and every
word. She should be thankful tht she's not Fabian's
secretary. She's safer at the receptionist table.
Later the phone rang and she had to answer. the
grey haired guy excused himself and motion a grateful
nod towards him and smiled.
Later she started scribbling her note book. Not long
after tht a pregnant young lady walked out of the
elevator. Elena/Paloma asked if she can help her? Tht
young lady wanted to see Fabian. Elena/Paloma asked if
she had an appointment. She said no, but she's sure tht
Fabian will agree to see her. Elena/Paloma asked her
name and she said her name is Euginia. Elena/Paloma
dialed Claudia's number and told her tht a woman named
Eugenia wanted to see Mr Sanchez Sambrano. She smiled
at Eugenia who seemed bored. She nodded and said "I'll
tell her." Later she thanked Claudia. She then told
Eugenia tht Fabian was out for a meeting. Eugenia told
her to stop lying coz she saw Fabian's car outside.
Paloma/Elena said he went for the meeting in his
manager's car. Eugenia wondered why didn't she tell
her tht earlier. She knew tht Fabian is in his office.
She insisted to wait and she believe tht sooner or
later Fabian will have to leave the office.
Elena/Paloma followed the young lady with her eyes.
Euginia sat at a corner. She went to Fabian's office.
She told him tht Eugenia didn't believe her story tht
he had left. Fabian winced when Elena/Paloma told her
tht Eugenia was still waiting outside. She asked if he
wanted her to call security. FAbian said no, he didn't
want to worsen the situation. Paloma/Elena agreed,
especially when the woman was pregnant. Fabian's head
turned towards her, he was surprised. She said he had
to do something because tht woman seemed so angry.
Fabian said he would but now the stock market is
closing, he can't leave. She said she'll handle the
woman the best way she can so tht he can leave.
Paloma/Elena went back to her receptionist desk. She
said she talked to Fabian who was in the meeting room
with the board of directors, she added tht his
secretaries didn't inform him tht Eugenia was there.
He tried to leave tht the meeting had him engaged.
Eugenia rudely asked they didn't allow him to go out
or he himself refused to come and meet her.
Paloma/elena told her tht Fabian would love to meet
her tonight. Eugenia said tht's just a trick, he'll
never come to meet her. Paloma/elena said he really
meant wht he said. She said if Eugenia stayed, things
will be worse and Fabian would not be happy. She
should have known Fabian's behavior by now and told
her to be patient. Eugenia softened and understood.
She told Paloma/Elena to let him know tht she'll wait
for him at her apartment tonight. She added tht if he
doesn't turn up, he'll be in deep trouble. She turned
to leave. Paloma/Elena gaped and nodded. She said
she'll tell him that.
Diana watched Berenice packing up to leave. She had to
go back to the hacienda. Diana told her to stop being
sad. In her opinion, the meeting with the shrink was a
good thing coz now she knew tht she's married to a
romatic man and honest. Berneice said yeah, nice but
he's in love with another woman. Diana said who cares,
she married him and all she had to do was make him
fall in love with her. Even the shrink said she can do
tht. Berenice said it's not easy and no one
understands her. Diana asked she need help? and then
she gave her a recipe book on how to make food tht can
arouse sexual needs. Diana suggested tht she prepare a
dinner for Diego and said tht it's to celebrate her
coming back to the hacienda. "You have nothing to lose
if you try this," Diana said. Berenice put the book
into her bag and continue packing.
Elena/Paloma was writing in her notepad when Fabian
approached her table. Fabian asked wht did she do to
make Eugenia left. She said she just simply asked her
to do so. Fabian was impressed because Eugenia was the
most stubborn woman he had ever known. She said she
told Eugenia tht this was not the right time to talk
to him. and he apologize for not meeting Euginia. She
added tht she told Eugenia tht he will meet her
tonight. Fabian asked why did she tell tht to Euginia?
She said she had to do tht to convince her, if not,
she would still be there waiting for him. and if he
refused to go and meet her, she believe tht Eugenia
will return soon. Fabian said, "I would like to remind
you.." Elena/Paloma continued, "it's a secret."
Paloma/Elena said it'll be their little secret. Fabian
like the way she handle his problem and said from now
on, they will be in contact directly. He told her to
get his handphone number from Claudia. He knew tht he
can trust her and he'll give her extra work, he turned
to leave and said, "Thank you, Elena, you are a
genius." Elena/Paloma smiled and almost jumped out of
her seat with happiness.

and with cold eyes and then smiled as he entered his
office. He was happy tht his secretaries are afraid of him.
Berenice was preparing the food based on the recipe
book given by Diana. Josefina told Diego tht Berenice
is preparing food tht can roused sexual needs.
Josefina warned Berenice tht she put so much stuff in tht food.
Diego came back and Berenice welcomed him to the
dinner table. She said the dinner was to celebrate her
coming back to the hacienda. Diego praised the aroma of the food.
Time flies and Diego finished eating. He was breathing
hard as if he ran a hundred metre. He enjoyed the food
and was full. He tried hard to catch his breath.
Time for bed. Berenice was all hot herself and started
splashing water to her hot face. SHe went to sit next
to Diego who seemed to had just woke up from a
horrible dream. He said he ate too much tht made him
uncomfortable. She asked if he wanted tea, he said no
and went back to bed. Berenice went out. Diego closed
his eyes and said Paloma's name.
Barbara walked into the office and Paloma/Elena called
her coz she didn't came to her receptionist table. She
asked who is she but Barbara ignored her and walked
right to Fabian's office. Paloma/Elena quickly called
FAbian and said another pregnant woman is coming his
way. FAbian found it funny and can't stop laughing coz
Paloma/Elena didn't recognise his wife.
Barbara think tht is not funny at all. She wanted to
go eat with him but he had a meeting so they promised
to meet for lunch. FAbian was still laughing when
Barbara kissed him.
Barbara went to Graciela and Claudia. she admitted tht
she hated the new receptionist already.
Paloma/Elena quickly apologize to Barbara and promised
it won't happen again. Barbara said yeah, she'll make
sure it'll never happen again.
Diego went to visit Don Manuel's plantation and Jeremy
was happy there especially with Matilde around. Diego
told him tht he followed Juancho on his search for
Paloma at Tobasco but end up with nothing. Jeremy
asked if he ever gonna stop. Diego said he had been
thiking about tht too but last night he dreamt of her
again, making love to him on the grass at the
plantation land (takdo tompek lain ka). Her eyes never
left his. He still loved her and will never stop.
Graciela, Claudia, the greyhaired man and a security
officer were waiting for Elena/Paloma to return to her
table. The greyhaired man asked paloma to show her
keys. The security officer checked the keys and
confirmed one of the keys was to Fabian's office.
Graciel said a golden trophy was stolen from Fabian's
office and a witness saw Paloma/Elena took it.
elena/Paloma, as usual, went angry coz people called
her a thief. Graciela said only 3 people had entry to
tht room, her, Claudia and elena. So she blamed
Elena/Paloma. She went angry and started yelling.
Graciela said Elena shoud had alreadybeen fired.
Paloma/Elena almost launched herself towards Graciela
but the greyhaired man quickly pulled her back to
avoid major fight. (Paloma would easily win if she
fight with Graciela hehee, remember how she kicked tht
man who she accused stealing the tv?)
Fabian came and yelled to all of them who were making
the place noisy. Graciela quickly told him about the
stolen trophy and said maybe something else is missing
too. She clearly said Elena was the one who stole it.
Paloma/Elena was breathing hard controlling her
boiling anger. Fabian looked at her suspiciously.
Berenice was basking in the sun wearing one piece
swimsuit. She closed her eyes enjoying the sunlight
and listening to a walkman. Aurelio was watching her
from behind a tree. Diego called after him and he
quickly turned around and Diego started talking.
Aurelio seemed to be lost and didn't understand wht he
was talking about. Diego wanted him to make sure tht
Jeremy got a job at the hacienda.
FAbian and the greyhaired man talked about wht
happened. They decided tht they got the evidence and
witnes so they have to fire her eventhough they knew
tht Elena/Paloma had been framed. It's for the
company's own reputation.
Elena/Paloma was talking to one of the security
officers. He told her tht Graciela and Claudia went
out a few minutes after she left for lunch. He noticed
tht Graciela's purse was a little bigger. Elena/Paloma
knew tht the trophy was already out of the building.
Later one of her phones rang. She picked up one of
them and said "Si?" it was still ringing, she pushed a
button and said, "Si?" again, but the phone still
rang, so she hang up tht phone and picked up another
phone, this time she got the right one. Graciela's
happy voice was on the phone telling tht she had to
come to their boss' office. She said this time
Elena/Paloma would definitely be fired.
Claudia and Graciela were jumping on their seats and
changing high-fives. They said they made it.
Elena/Paloma punch their table and yelled tht she knew
it was their plan. Graciela pretend to be innocent but
Elena/Paloma said she knew it was them. She called
them ruthless, old thieves. Elena/Paloma swore tht one
day they will beg for her assistance. She's swore to
give them a hard time.
Fabian and the grey-haired man were listening to
Paloma/Elena's booming voice through the closed door.
They looked at each other and later looked at the door.
Paloma/Elena banged the table one last time and then
pushed open the office's door slammed it closed. It
was so loud. She froze she saw two pairs of comanding
eyes looking at her. She tried to control her breathing.
Fabian calmly said only him can yell in his office and
told her not to smash his door next. Elena/Paloma
apologized and said she didn't mean to be so loud just
now. He told her to sit down. She admitted tht her
anger is boiling (her voice is getting louder again).
She calmed down and lower her volume. Fabian admitted
he knew wht happening to her but there are rules in
the company tht must be followed. She said it was a
good rule but it will only benefit those who had bad
intentions towards her (her voice was getting louder
and louder, and she started pointing her forfinger
around) and they were trying to make her fired. She
realised tht she lost control of herself again and
quickly apologized. Later she continued tht this is
stupid and not fair. She said thyey never liked her
and they will always tried until she was fired.
The greyhaired guy tried to intterupt her but she shut
him out and wanted to finish her statement. She went
quiet for a full second and asked FAbian, does he
belive tht she waited a month to see him just because
she wanted to steal tht trophy? She asked the
greyhaired man if she looked like a thief. She didn't
gave him the chance to respond and answered the
question herself "Of course not". She said Fabian
might think tht she's some cheap girl. She apologize
again for her choice of word. She was really hurt and
thought Fabian would have another opinion on her. She
would never steal tht stupid trophy. She apologize
again for calling tht trophy 'stupid'.
She admitted tht didn't know how expensive tht tropy
was. Fabian told her to stop coz he got the picture.
Elena/Paloma agree to pay the price of the trophy. He
can double the price if he wanted to and she agreed
tht they extract it from her paycheck. She admitted
tht this happend because of her ignorance, she deserve
a punishment and promised she won't let this happen
again. She was babling again and Fabian tried not to
smile. He agreed to let her pay for the lost trophy
and warned her not to let this happen again. He told
her to go to Mr Lombana. (He called the greyhaired man
Jorge). He warned her tht she won't get a second
chance after this. Elena/Paloma understands. She
smiled and thanked both of them. She calmly exited the office.
Claudia was on the phone reporting the latest event to
Barbara. Paloma/elena told them not to worry coz she's
not going anywhere. She warned them to becareful
because the next time, she'll be one who will give
them a lesson. (Her voice was bursting out like
chinese new year fireworks). Graciela's spectacles
fell from the bridge of her nose and landed on her
lower lip. Her eyes were wide and not blinking. She
was surprised tht Elena/Paloma was not fired.
Barbara asked who was yelling. Claudia waid it was tht
woman again. She said somehow she wasn't fired, she
wondered wht she did to make Fabian believe in her.
Barbara said tht woman hasn't know who was she up against.
Matilde brink some drinks for Jeremy and Don Manuel.
Don Manuel told her to prepare some food for them. Don
manuel went to meet some friends and Matilde asked why
was Jeremy staring at her. Jeremy admitted tht he
liked her and she's beautiful. She told him not to do
tht especialy in front of her uncle. Jeremy said the
harvesting season almost end and after tht it'll be
hard for him to see her again. MAtilde said it was wht
she hoped would happen.
Paloma/Elena went to meet Mr Lombana and signed
something. He hoped the board of directors didn't get
this news coz it'll be an issue. She never thought a
small matter like this would attract their attention.
Mr Lombana shook her hand, it was too long and she had
to pull her hand back. He asked her to join him for a
formal function tht he'll be attending on behalf of
Fabian. He hope tht will make them closer.
Paloma/elena asked how close? Lombana close enough for
him to convince him not to cut her salary and maybe
he'll give her bonus. He touched her chin and said
maybe after the function, they can go back to his
place. Elena/Paloma slapped him and said he diddn't
know who is he talking to. She there to work, not sell
her body. She'll refuse to go out with him eventhough
if they cut all her salary. Lombana warned her not to
go against him coz FAbian won't be around all the time
protecting her. Here, he's the man tht she had to
confront. Elena/ Paloma said she wasn't intimidated by
him. SHe left. Lombana touched his painful cheek.
Matilde help bring her uncle to his room and refused
Jeremy to help her. He went to his room. Later Matilde
entered his room and closed the door.
Berenice didn't agree tht Jeremy lived in the house.
Diego asked one good reason why not? Berenice said she
didn't like jeremy coz he's a drunk and Deigo might
end up being one too. Diego said he'll drink
eventhough Jeremy is not around.
Jeremy and Matilde slept together. He admitted he
loved her. She said he had to go tomorrow if he
refused to confront his uncle about wht happened.
El Cafetalero. Awoman came to Paloma/Elena and asked
to see Fabian. She turned away and pushed a button at
her phone. Her eyes widened in quiet amazement.
Berenice can't belive tht Diego wanted to let Jeremy
stayed there. Josefina said Diego was saving Jeremy
from the effect of 'tolache'. Josefina explained tht
tolache is a witchcraft product tht can bring down a
man to his knees. (it's like guna-guna lah). Berenice
was interested. Josefina said Jeremy is the proof of
the effect of 'tolache'.
Fabian hugged the woman who had just met Elena/Paloma.
Paloma/Elena was surprised to see Barbara exited the
elevator. She quickly called Hernandez and told him to
stop Barbara and tried make a conversation. She told
him not to ask questions and do wht she said. She hang
up and watched Barbara walking painfully slowly
towards Fabian's office carrying her visible pregnant stomach.
Hernandez stopped her and asked about herself, her
family and her pregnancy. She found him wierd and
ignored him. She continued walking towards Fabian's office.
Paloma/elena's head was craned watching wht happened
and busy punching numbers. She told Fabian tht his
wife is on the way. FAbian was touching the woman's
lips. Elena/Paloma told him tht she told Hernandez to
slow down Barbara. He thanked her and hang up. He told
his date tht Barbara is coming. He pushed her into the
meeting room and kissed her goodbye after giving her
coat back. later he dialed his secretary and told her
to let his wife in and as soon as Barbara came in,
they must let the woman in the meeting room out. He
warned her to keep it a secret.
Barbara asked Claudia if her husband is in. Claudia
said yes. Later Barbara asked if the new receptionist
did anything new. Claudia said she threatened to make
Graciela get fired. Barbara said, "We'll see about
tht." Graciela and Claudia looked at each other
thinking whether to tell her or not about the woman in
the meeting room. Barbara walked into her husband's office.
FAbian kissed her and asked why she liked to come
without noticing him. She asked if he's too busy to
see her. Fabian said since she got pregnant, she's
becoming more and more jealous.
The woman exited the meeting room and went to
Paloma/Elena. She smiled at her and thanked her.
Hernandez approached Paloma/Elena's table and asked
wht really happened? He felt stupid. Paloma/Elena
motioned towards the woman who was walking into the
elevator and said Hernandez had just helped saved Fabian's life.
Jeremy offered to manage the hacienda for Don Manuel.
Don Manuel wanted to think about it first and Jeremy
might have to stay there if he wanted to manage the
place. Jeremy said he had no problem with tht. Matilde
shot him a warning look.
Berenice asked Josefina about the 'toloache' again.
Josefina told her tht it was the most feared thing for
the men around the area. Berenice asked if she knew
how to make it. Josefina said she didn't know but
there' a bruja (witch) tht was good at it. Berenice
quickly told her to bring her to the bruja.
Josefina brought her to a very small entrance and she
went in alone to meet the bruja. The woman asked whom
she wanted to cast a spell on and told her to sit
down. She gave Berenice a couple of packed plants and
a paper. She told her to say the man's name out loud
and write down his name. She said Diego's name and
wrote it on the paper. The woman asked if Diego
married, single or divorced. Berenice said he's her
husband. The woman laughed and puffed her cigarette.
She asked if she wanted him to want her, love and be
hers forever? Berenice said tht's exactly wht she wanted.
A despatch boy brought an envelope for Fabian and gave
it to Elena/Paloma. She thanked him and quickly went
to give it to Fabian. She was walking towards his
office when she saw Claudia was on the phone with
Barbara talking about the woman who let through the
meeting room's door and said the receptionist help the
woman's escape. Paloma/Elena quietly walked to a
telephone and called Fabian. She told him to pick up
his private line slowy, there's something he need to listen to.
He did wht she asked. Barbara was asking for the
woman's name. Claudia admitted she didn't know and
said tht woman was already in the meeting room when
Barbara entered. Barbara ordered her to find out the
woman's name. Claudia beg her not to tell Fabian tht
she was the who reveal his secret because he
threatened to fire her. Fabian rubbed his eyebrows
impatiently. Barbara told her not to worry. Later they hang up.
Fabian punched one button and told Claudia to enter
his office. He was stabbing some papers on his table
with a letter opener. He told her to go to the
personnel office and hand in her resignation. Later he
threw her out into Jorge's arms.
Jorge entered his office and closed the door. Jorge
said, "Not another one!" Fabian said he already had a
perfect candidate to replace Claudia. Someone tht he
trust. Later Paloma/Elena entered with the envelope.
He announced tht starting from tomorrow, Elena would
be his new secretary replacing Claudia. Paloma/elena
waved around the envelope, too happy to speak. she
promised tht he won't hear any complaints about her.
Fabian hope she'll be his most trusted assistant
especially when his wife is involved. She told him not
to worry. Jorge told her to go and see Hernandez and
sign a new contract. Paloma/Elena was happy and said
she'll be the secretary who worked for him the for
longest time. She gave him the envelop and thanked
him, he won't regret his decision. She exited the
room. Fabian opened the envelope. Jorge praised his
choice because Elene Olivares is an excellent
employee. Fabian drily said, "Wait until Barbara
learns about this." Jorge smiled.
Paloma/Elena talked to Claudia who didn't even bother
to turn and look at her. Paloma/Elena said she had
nothing to do with this, Claudia was the one who let
herself in this mess. Claudia told her to go away.
Paloma/elena said she had to blame herself for not
controlling her mouth (she immitated a chicken voice).
She continued tht she knew she will never have a good
relationship with Graciela but Graciela must be warned
tht she must becareful coz she might be next to be
fired. She excused herself and happily running towards
her desk. She raised her hands as if she just won a marathon.
Berenice prepared a special toloache soup for Diego.
He praised it smelled good but later can't continue
eating it coz it was too bitter.
Aurelio was having the same soup and Leonor was
watching him eat. Josefina stood not far from them
smiling. Aurelio also complained tht it was too
bitter. Leonor said it's not bitter, Dona Berenice
prepared it herself.
Barbara was angry with Fabian who fired Claudia. He
said don't worry, his new secretary is not beautiful,
she's Elena olivares. Barbara quickly recognise the
name. She wondered wht Elena did to make him take her
as his secretary. Fabian smiled and said other than
her great legs and beautiful dress, she's a better
worker than his secretaries. She's way intelligent
than anyone he knew. She asked if he gonna fire
Graciela too. He said he'll do tht as soon as he got a
good excuse to do so.
Paloma told her mom tht she planned to move from tht
room. She proudly announced tht she'll be the one who
answers Fabian Sanchez Sambrano's phone. Soledad told
her to sleep early coz she'll have a lot of work to do
tomorrow. She wanted to watch the telenovela but
Soledad didn't allow it, she promised to tell her
everything tomorrow. Paloma complained tht Soledad
forgot her as soon as she watched TV.
Berenice pour somekind of ointment/perfume in her hand
and rubbed some to her neck.
Paloma was asleep and she whispered Diego's name a few times.
Diego was sleeping but his head was tossing left and
right. Berenice came to him and rubbed the remaining
ointment/perfumed to his forehead. Not long after tht
he snapped from his sleep and sat on his bed. Berenice
was so surprised.
At the same time Paloma snapped from her sleep and
told her mom tht she can feel tht Diego is in the room
and she heard him calling her name. Soledad told her
to give him a call but Paloma refused. She had a new
life now and she didn't want to have anything to do with Diego.
Diego was standing in front of the bed and Berenice
was sitting on the bed. Berenice said, it was all
clear now, she must leave right away. They both looked down.
