Mia 16th Episode All the hot scenes in the opening credits had been zapped and ganti ngan scene lain. Berenice asked if he was relieved. Diego said yes. Berenice said so she should leave coz he's too inlove with the other woman. She's begining to get tired of all these. She hoped Diego won't blame himself. She was the one who broke their rules. She was hoping tht Diego would fall in love with her. She's tired of fighting with 'ghost' in tht plantation. She can't be closed to him when he's so guarded. She finally understand tht she already defeated ever since everything started between them. Aurelio saw Berenice crying at the balcony. Don Manuel asked wht Matilde doing outside in the middle of the night. He asked about her and Jeremy. He asked if she liked Jeremy. She said she didn't care at all. She didn't like him not even a bit. Jeremy was alone in his room when Matilde entered. He asked why is she playing with his emotions. Matilde said she can't come earlier because her uncle was outside. Jeremy wanted to know her true feelings for him. Matilde cried and told him tht she loved her so much, and he must leave as soon as possible. Elena/Paloma was at the reception table. FAbian asked wht was she doing there coz she's his secretary now. She said she can't leave the receptionist table just like tht, she had to stay there until her replacement arrive. FAbian said she must follow him. Paloma/elena begged him to take Margarita back coz she was nice to her. She said she and margarita will make a great team. He was still not convinced to take Margarita back. Paloma/elena agree to make a written agreement saying tht if Margarita's performance didn't improve, he'll receive both her and margarita's resignation. Fabian agreed and told her to go to Hernandez and get Margarita's contract. Berenice called Barbara and told her tht she talked seriously with Diego and and there's no way he'll be in love with her. She said it's time for her to move back to the city. Jeremy came to see Don Manuel and said he wanted to leave coz he didn't give his decision about his stay harvesting has ended. Don Manuel wanted him to stay, Jeremy smiled and said by noon they can start planting tobacco. Leonor wish Berenice a safe journey. They hugged. Later Josefina came and told her tht her stuff had been loaded into the car. They hugged. She turned to leave and Aurelio came to tell her tht Carlos will send her to the airport. Without turning to see him, she answered, "Yes Aurelio". Aurelio told Diego tht Berenice leaving. Deigo said let her do wht she wanted and he wanted to be left alone. Aurelio came back to see Berenice still standing at the same spot. This time she turned to see him. Aurelio walked away. She cried and ran to the car. Carlos drove it away. Diego stood up and went to the window to see Berenice leaving. Juancho was surprised tht Diego was so mad and angry with him. He gave Juancho one month deadline to find Paloma. Juancho was sweating. Diego said if he failed, he'll make sure tht Juancho will never find any job at this province. He tried to make Diego calm down but he was more angry and yelled tht he can't leave without tht woman. Later Leonor came to tell him tht DIana called. Diego turned to yell at Leonor tht he didn't want to be disturbed. He yelled again and told her to go away. He screamed at Juancho again and told him to go and find Paloma as soon as possible. He pushed his chair. Leonor told Aurelio wht Diego did. She told Diana on the phone tht Diego didn't want to talke to her. Leonor told Aurelio tht Diego was wierd. Aurelio was quiet too. She slapped his shoulder and asked why was he different. He ignored her and left. Diana told Barbara tht she didn't get to talk with Diego. They agreed tht they must stop Diego and Berenice from a divorce. They hope Fabian can help. Later they were talking about Paloma who had become Fabian's new secretary. They left to meet Berenice at her apartment. Berenice said she decided to stay away from Diego. She told her parents tht her decision had been made. Se needed her paretns' support. She wanted to leave the apartment. Her parents said they should divorce, she live a separate life. And when she get a divorce, she can claim her share of the fortune. Barabara came to el Cafetalero and Margarita greeted her (yay! good to see her back). Barbara went to Fabian's office and greeted by Elena/Paloma and Graciela they both answered at the same time tht FAbian is in. Barbara told Graciela to leave her and Elena alone. Barbara said she wanted to warn her coz Fabian always has problem with his secretaries. She can say tht her position is quite shaky. Barbara didn't want her to be too ambitious and wanted to become and important woman in Fabians' life. She said Fabian need a non ambitios assitant, effisyen and understand the meaning of friendship. Paoma/Elena said tht make her a perfect secretary. She loved the job and this is a step to spread her wings in her career. She belive she can learn a lot from Fabian. She apreciate Barbara being honest with her, she said she never sleep with any one for a job and she's learning to fight and defend herself. She promised they'll have a good friendship. Barbara said tht depends on Paloma/Elena. FAbian told Barbara not to smoke. He said he need to catch a flight soon. She told him tht Berenice and Diego were splitting. Fabian said, "SO?" He asked if it's serious. She said Barbara is already in Mexico. FAbian said they had to make Diego and Berenice back together. He called Elena/Paloma and told her to call Casablanca and get Diego on the phone coz he really need to talk to Diego. Paloma/Elena went quiet for the full 5 seconds and later said, "yes". She was shaking. Diego was drinking. Aurelio answered the phone. Paloma/Elena said she's calling from El Cafetalero and need to talk to Diego. Aurelio told her to wait. Aurelio went to get Diego who seemed lost in his thoughts. Aurelio called him and he snapped back in anger. He said he didn't want to be bothered. Aurelio went backt ot he phone and told Paloma/Elena tht Diego is busy. She wanted him to tell Diego to call her back at El Cafetalero. SHe thanked him and hang up. Later FAbian and Barabara exited the office. He asked about the call and Elena/Paloma told him tht Diego was not at the hacienda. Barabara said it happen as perdicted. He's refusing to talk to everyone. Fabian said they had to make Fabian come to the office next Monday. He told Paloma/Elena to keep calling the hacienda and leave messages saying tht he must come to El Cafetalero next monday. He kissed his wife goodbye. Elena wished her a pleasant day. After Barbara left, Fabian gave Paloma/Elena the adresses of the hotels tht he'll be checking in. During weekdays he'll be in another hotel and during weekend he'll be in a different hotel. He didn't want Graciela or his wife to know about tht. He told her to make sure tht Graciela didn't touch his agenda book. He reminded her to keep trying to get in touch with Diego and told him about the meeting next Monday and he also told her to inform his family about the Monday meeting. Paloma/Elena took a few breaths before picking up the phone dialing hacienda Casablanca again. Aurelio was sitting next the phone, looking sad and quiet. He ignored the ringing phone. Leonor came asking why didn't he pick up the phone. He said he wanted to see whether Diego will pick it up. Diego let the phone ring for a while. Later he pushed a button and Paloma/Elena said "Bueno?" "Answer me, please." Diego didn't even put the phone to his ear. He hang up and continue drinking. At the apartment, Diana and Barabara were there talking to Berenice. They said if they were Berenice, they would give up long ago. They tried to make her think tht she's strong woman but Berenice went angry and told them to stop pity her. They asked if she still love him. She said yes, Diego was with the problem not her. He was too in love with tht plantation worker. Barabara said maybe tht worker had cast a spell on him coz witchcraft is not an alien thing around the hacienda. Diana said maybe they can find a cure for Diego. Diana told them to stop talking. She decided to divorce Digeo. Barabara said maybe they can talk to him when he come to the city for the meeting on Monday. Diana hope diego knew about the meeting coz he was not answering the phone. Barbara hope the new secretary will never get tired trying to get him on the phone. Elena/Paloma was still trying to get Diego on the phone. Jorge asked if she got him? She said no. She assumed maybe the phone was not placed correctly. Graciela was ready to go home. Elena said they still had things to do. Graciela said she was paid to be at the office until 6.00 and it's already 2 minutes past six. Jorge was happy tht Paloma/Elena was very serious with her work. He congratulated her. She thanked him and said goodbye. Diego was sitting alone in the dark, crying, drinking, listening to sad song. She said her name, "Paloma". Elena/Paloma went to Margarita. She and his boyfriend wanted Elena to join them celebrate her re employment. Paloma/Elena said she's busy or maybe she'll be busy with her boyfriend. Elena/Paloma said her boyfriend was a bad dream. She had to wake up early tomorow.and she'll be needing her help. They kissed goodbye but later she decided to join Margarita and have tequila. She wanted to stop her nightmares. They walked hand in hand together. Margarita's boyfriend was interviewing Elena/Paloma about her lovelife and she was not happy with tht. His name was Mario. Mario said maybe she was waiting for a millionaire to be her boyfriend. Paloma/elena said if the man is rich or poor, she's not interested in any may. mario said no wonder, now he understand tht Paloma/Elena was hurt big time. Diego stood up and went to the door. Still crying. Leonor and Aurelio didn't know wht to do. He said there's no use trying to be close to Diego at this time. He asked where's Josefina. Leonor didn't know. Aurelio seemed sad tu, Leonor asked if there's another woman. Aurelio told her to stop asking question. he went to find Jeremy. Mario and his friend were discussing Paloma who was so cold. They agreed tht if they continue to talk with her, they'll end up in a convent. Elena/Paloma apologize for her behavior to Margarita. She admitted she's not good at making friends. She wanted to leave but Margarita insisted wanted to sed her home. Paloma/Elena still wanted to leave by taxi. She said goodbye to Margarita and kissed her. Leonor was glad to see Aurelio returned with Jeremy. She told him Diego had been acting mad all day as if he had been cast a spell on. Jremy asked if he had a weapon. Aurelio said no, the only weapon in tht room is his table. Jeremy went knocking Diego's door and beg to talk to him but Diego just continue drinking. But when Jeremy was forcing, he opened the door. He said he can't accept the fact tht Paloma wasn't there. Jeremy wonder wht happened? Diego didn't know but since last night, he felt as if he lost something dear to him and he felt the need to meet Paloma, no matter what. Jeremy believe tht someone had cast a spell on Diego after all. Jeremy said he had seen this type of situation before. Diego insisted tht he's not bewitched. Jeremy said Diego never loved Paloma. Actually she cast a love spell on him. Diego can't accept tht, coz if she did, he would never left her the first place. Jeremy said if Paloma really loved him she should have been there for him. Diego still wanted to find her. Jeremy said Diego had to try stop thinking about Paloma. Diego went angry and pushed him down the floor like a madman. Jeremy stood up and drank another tequila before leaving. Rented room: Paloma returned and her mom was already sleeping. She kissed her and her mom woke up. Paloma told her tht she went out with Margarita. They later discuss about moving to a new apartment by next week. She promised to repair the sewing machine. Soledad praised her daughter tht her life was like telenovela. A young plantation worker. Paloma later told her about Margarita's friend tht she met who was nice and handsome but she had been hurt so much by Diego and it made her hard to accept another man. Hacienda casablanca: Diego said Paloma must return. Soledad asked if she heard anything from Diego? Paloma said he'll be at the office next monday. She planned not to bump into him by taking a leave. Soledad asked for how was she going to keep playing hide and seek? Paloma said she wanted to hear about him, see him. but when she remembered tht he was married and happy with his wife at the hacienda, she felt as if she had been slapped hard. She did think of leaving and when she's ready whe'll leave and find another job. Berenice was drunk. She reached for the phone. She remembered how Diego was angry when she touched the stupid cassette. She threw the phone in anger. Diego was asleep on his comfortable chair. Paloma went back to the pawn shop to get back her things. She froze when she saw the amount, and later said she had just the right amout to get all her things back. The guy at the counter suggested tht she take a couple of things first and come later for the rest, the dateline was two days later. She chose to take back the sewing machine and her favourite watch first. She counted her money and she need another 50 pesos. She had to leave the watch. The guy quietly pulled out a 50 pesos from his wallet and pushed it into her hands. He told her to recount her money again, she might count it by mistake the first time. Paloma smiled at him, surprised tht the guy was helping her with the money. Aurelio went to see Diego who was still asleep. He woke him up. He toldhim tht his breakfast is ready. Aurelio told him tht he recieve may calls from El Cafetalero. It must be Fabian wanting him to call back. Diego didn't want to talk to anyone. later the phone rang. It was Paloma. MArgarita told Paloma/Elena to get to her desk fast Graciela had reported to Mr Latorre tht Elena was not at her work place. She said she need to make this important phone call. Diego picked up the phone and yelled "Hello!" Paloma/elena swallow hard and blinked when heard the familiar voice. sure fine whatever Cuando seas Mia 17th episode El Cafetalero: Elena/Paloma quickly passed the phone to Margarita and told her to inform Diego tht he need to be at the office next monday. Margarita relay the information and Diego was too quiet tht made margarita stopped talking. She told Elena/Paloma tht no one is answering her. Hacienda casablanca: Diego seemed frozen, holding the phone. Later he passed the phone to Aurelio and wanted him to tell who ever tht is tht he's not at home. Aurelio said 'hello'. Margarita asked if she could speak to Diego Sanchez Sambrano. Aurelio said his bos is not here. and he'll tell him as soon as Diego get back. Aurelio passed the message to Diego tht Fabian wanted him to be at the office next monday and they called to get confirmation whether he's coming or not. Elena/Paloma asked wht happen to Margarita. Margarita said it was Diego's assistant and he took her message. Elena/Paloma said, "But he answered the phone.." She quickly refused to say more when Margarita asked her wht? She said nothing. Margarita remind her to go to her post quickly coz Graciela was already making reports to Mr Latore. SEcretary's desk: Graciela was expressing her bad feelings towards Elena/Paloma's job performance to Jorge. She said she had been so patience and she had to do all the work here. It's already late but Elena had't arrived. later elena/Paloma approached them and Graciela spoke much faster. Elena/Paloma manage to make her shut up when she said she already asked Jorge Latore's permission to make the calls to Sanchez Sambrano family from the receptionist table. Graciela lost her words and later went angry coz Elena/Paloma didn't tell her about the Monday meeting. Elena/Paloma made her look unefficient. Paloma/ELena said she didn't want to get Graciela into trouble. JOrge asked if she had any problems of not being able to tell Elena wht she need to do to prepare for the monday meeting? Graciela fumbled with her words. She said she can't let Elena interfere with her duties. She accused Elena/Paloma tried to make her get fired. Her vocie was getting louder and Paloma/Elena yelled back at her. Jorge joined the yelling and told them both to shut up and get back to their work. He wanted Elena/Paloma to make sure the rest of the family is notified about the meeting. Before leaving Jorge warned them if he heard anymore scandal from them, they'll both be fired. Graciela said Paloma/Elena was trying to show off to Mr Sanchez Sambrano. Elena/Paloma said she was just doing her job. Later Paloma/Elena called the hacienda again and Aurelio answered and reminded him to tell Deigo about hte monday meeting. Aurelio said Diego won't be coming. Paloma/Elena thanked him and hang up. She quietly said to herself, "He's not coming." Berenice/Diego's apartment: Berenice sure tht Diego won't be coming. Diana said she herself will go to the hacienda and make him come. Berenice said she'll never return to Diego, she already filed a divorce. El Cafetalero: Paloma/Elena went to see Jorge. He said FAbian must be notified about Diego's absent. He turned to his work but Paloma/Elena was still standing infront of his desk, coughing a little too loud. Jorge turned to her and asked if there something else? Paloma/Elena reminded him tht once he promised to talk to her about the company and she insist tht he do the talking now. Jorge agreed and said first she need to know wht the company does. Jorge started explaining about their company. He said El cafetalero is a major coffee company in Latin America. All big plantations from around Mexico shipped their harvested products to El Cafetalero for processing. Later he explained tht Fabian is the center of everything and their performance in stock exchange involving coffee, sugar, and cocoa in new york. Mexico specialise in ARabica coffee. He asked if he's talking to fast. Paloma/elena was scribbling her notebook very fast. She later read back wht she wrote and he told her to say the word 'Arabica' correctly. He said she need to know wht coffee, the type of coffee and how it was plucked. Paloma/Elena looked at him and said thoughtfully tht some parts of tht she knew very well. He told her tht Mexico is one of the major exporters of coffee in the world. She said it might take years for her to learn more but tht would be enough. Later Jorge asked if she had any questions. She stood up and flip through her notebook. She asked where the coffee from Casablanca taken to? Jorge said Casablanca only sent them little part of their coffee to El Cafetalero eventhough the plantation is very large. It was less than 1% of the total coffee received by El cafetalero. She asked where else they get the coffee from? Jorge said tht is Diego's job, to find more coffee. He said she can asked Diego Sanchez Sambrano when she meet him soon. Paloma/Elena stopped writing and looked at him. He said, "after harvesting season.." he didn't finished his words and paloma/Elena added ".. in october right?" JOrge was surprised. She quickly said tht she heard it was the most important season. He added tht Diego was responsible to gather all the coffee tht he can get and send them to the hacienda for processing and sent to El cafetalero. hacienda: Diego and Aurelio was disscussing about tht coffee tht will be sent to Japan. He continued drinking, this time, straight from the bottle. El Cafetalero: Jorge said El Cafetalero will pay Diego for the coffee he get and sends them to a place tht had processing machines. The person at tht processing place had the power to accept or reject their coffee. They are one of the respected people in coffee business. Outside: Later showed Aurelio arrive to a place like Jorge mentioned and a guy was testing the quality of the coffee tht he brought. Aurelio told him not to refused the coffee because his boss checked everything himself. Tht man said, he still had to check. On the way out, Aurelio bumped into Josefina. He was jealous to see Josefina was so lovey dovey with the guy who was checking the coffee. He warned her tht the guy was already married. JOsefina said, "So were u". She went to hug the guy. Tht guy called Aurelio and said his coffee past and he need to sign some papers in the office. Aurelio seemed jealous and walked to the office. Josefina continued to hug tht guy. The guy said, "I can't work like this." (dah abih scene baru i caught the guy's name, Libardo) Elcafetalero: Jorge reach the explaining part about the shipment of coffee. Elena/Paloma wondered why hacienda give all its coffee for export, are they the same company? Jorge explained tht since Don Lorenzo Sanchez sambrano died, Fabian and his family inherited the company, and the machines, while Diego's family get the hacienda, tht means now they still operate as one unit eventhough the hacienda and company own by separate heirs. It's a way to bind the family and the family formed the board of the directors. Paloma/Elena nodded, everythign is cleared now. Then Graciela came to tell her tht FAbian want to talk to her. Fabian was in hotel room. He asked for updates about Diego. She told him tht Diego's not coming. Fabian will try to take the first flight to Mexico City. He asked her to keep secret tht he's now in Miami. Graciela pretend to be working on her computer. Elena/Paloma hang up and asked Graciela if there has been a blackout coz her computer was not even 'on'. Don Manuel's plantation: Jeremy was busy working at the plantation when Matilde brought him something to drink. He asked wht's wrong. her face was bruised. He asked if her uncle did tht. He wanted to speak to Don Manuel but Matilde stopped him, she said if he do tht, none of them will see her again. Then she left him. El cafetalero: Jorge continue explaining about expert coffee tasters. They will give opinions and the company will use tht to search the market. Next she told him about FAbian's work tht involve a very large area. He told how he do his work through his computer. He did it all by himself without anyone helping him. Paloma/Elena asked if she can take back the files home with her. Jorge wondered why. She said she want to understand wht Fabian really do and want to be a big help for him. Jorge was quiet for a while but later smiled and nodded. Paloma/Elena smiled too. Later she asked about the things tht will be discussed in the next meeting. He saied everythign is in the files tht will include the balance sheet of 3 months' account. Barbara came asking Graciela if her husband called. She said he talked to the other secretary who had been in Fabian's office all day with Mr Jorge Latore. "Who knows wht they are doing in there," she added. Barbara entered the room without knocking. Jorge was handing the books and files to Paloma/Elena when she entered. They both stood up and greeted her. Elena/Paloma told her tht Mr Latore was kind enough to spend his time informing her about the company. She asked if her husband knew tht Diego wasn't coming. Elena/Paloma said, he had been informed when he called her earlier. Barbara was surprised because she had been trying to call her husband all day but failed. She wondered if he left a number to be contacted if there should be an emergency. Paloma/Elena said no, she also find it's wierd because her boss didn't leave a number. Barbara asked her if she knew where her husband is, Paloma/Elena hesitated for a second later said she didn't know. Barbara hope Elena/Paloma was telling the truth. Barbara exited the office and asked Graciela to give her the list of meetings tht FAbian attending in Miami. Graciela apologize coz those information only available from Elena. Now Elena was the one who handled Fabian's personal agenda. Barbara said Elena just told her tht she knew nothing. Graciela said Elena was lying coz she had just talked to FAbian and there's seem to be some secrets between them. Barbara said she must see FAbian's work agenda coz she got a strong feeling tht FAbian was not in Miami anymore. And she said if wht Graciela said was true, assume now tht Elena Olivares had just made a new enemy. Then she left. Graciela smiled in victory and nodded. Paloma/Elena asked if it's true tht Fabian would have to arrange everything he wanted to present in the next meeting by himself? Jorge said yes, because the stuff in there are big secrets and not many had the privelege to take a peek into those books. Paloma/Elena the books close to her. Before leaving she asked Jorge why Deigo decided not to come to the meeting. Jorge wondered why was she interested. She said it's just because everybody seemed worried when he said he won't be coming. Jorge said he had problem in his family, she asked if it's with his wife? Jorge said 'Yes'. Barbara/Fabian's apartment: Barbara refered to Elena Olivares as a snake in the grass. She kept everything from her. Berenice said Barbara herself had just called the hotel in Miami tht confirmed tht Fabian is still there. Barbara said she didn't believe tht. Fabian only spend his day dealing with coffee and cheating on her. And the secreary helped him cover his tracks. Berenice asked didn't she just fire tht girl, she's in the board of directors, she had the rights to do so. Barbara said she had a plan cooked up for the new secretary tht will make her fired. Elena/Paloma headed to computer room looking for Julio. She carried the books with her. She handed the books and files to him and said he must made a report on those files for the past 3 months. Julio said tht information was only known by executives, not secretary, he refused to do it and he'll only do it if Fabian Sanchez Sambrano himself tell him to do so. Elena/Paloma pulled a face and thanked him. She took everything and headed to the door. Julio called Graciela as soon as Paloma/Elena left. He asked if the other secretary is there. Graciela turned to see Paloma/Elena struggling with many stuff in her hands. She said yes. He asked how can a secretary brings out so many highly classified files out of the office. Graciela quickly went to meet Julio and he told her tht Paloma/Elena brought those classified files for him to work on and mentioned tht it was for Mr Sanchez Sambrano but since he has been working there he hadn't recieve such assignment before. Graciela slipped her pen to her ear and said this Friday, Elena will have a lot of explanation to do. Graciela quietly peeked into Fabian's office and saw Elena/Paloma making a call to FAbian. SHe told Fabian tht his wife was at the office. She expressed her feelings tht Barbara didn't believe wht she told her. She hoped FAbian would call Barbara to make her feel better. She confirmed tht everything has been ready for the MOnday meeting. Later she hang up and Graciela quickly went back to her place. Elena/Paloma scooped the books and files in her hands and walked towards the door. But before she even get close to the door Graciela entered and angrily asked where was she going with those files. She accused Paloma/Elena stealing those files. Elena/Paloma said she's not in the mood to explain things coz she already got the permission to get the files. Graciela went angry and start yelling, she even dared Elena/Paloma to hit her. Elena/Paloma raised her hand and almost give her the swing but she decided not to continue her intentions. Graciela warned her tht she better have the permission, if not, she will be the first to see Elena/Paloma get thrown to the streets. Paloma/Elena watched Graciela from head to toe and turn towards the door making a funny background music sound. Graciela rolled her eyes. Graciela reported to Barbara about the files taken by Paloma/Elena. and how she Paloma/Elena almost hit her for defending the documents. Then she told Barbara tht Elena/Paloma knew very well where Fabian was coz she caught her talking on the phone with Fabian. Barbara asked Graciela to get her Elena's number and address. She also ordered Graciela to get her a list of people who got in contact with Fabian by Monday. Graciela wondered wht will they do about the documents taken by Elena. Barbara said they had to wait until Monday. She wondered wht Elena Olivares is up to. CC: Paloma/elena carried the books and files to her computer class and met her computer teacher. She begged him to help her with the files and created some information process, create charts and tables tht show comparisons of the last 3 months transactions. She sat down and start telling stories about her boss leaving town and coming back for Monday meeting and she hope to surprise him with his handwritten files all typed up. The man was a little reluctant to help and asked how much she was willing to pay. She said, "Now the problem arises," she stood up and gave him a kiss. He warned her not to kiss him again, and told her to give him the books and files. The man got nervous and started to work on the files. Diego was drunk again. He went angry when the bar owner stopped the song. Jeremy remind him tht they listened to the same song 8 times and maybe other customers will get bored. Diego was still devastated and can't find Paloma. He felt bored waiting for something tht will not appear. Jeremy suggest he called Berenice back. Elena/Paloma asked him who would be on the meeting, he told her tht there will be five advisors and the president, Roberto Avellaneda, who was also known as the Pope of coffee. Elena/Paloma gulped when she heard tht man's decision can change the price of coffee internationally. Fabian told her not to worry. Fabian went to Mr Avellaneda's secretary and introduced himself. The woman called his boss and informed him tht Mr Sanchez Sambrano had arrived. later Elena/Paloma and FAbian followed the woman into the meeting room. He shook hands with Don Roberto and apologize for being late coz so much things happened in his office. He later introduce Elena Olivares, his executive assistant. Don Roberto offered her a seat. He apologized to Elena/Paloma for the awkwardness among the meeting members coz a woman hardly join a coffee meeting tht monopolysed by men. She politely apologize for causing the awkwardness. Later Fabian began his speech. He said now Mexico will have its own 'Roaster' and will sell 100% Mexican coffee to America. He said he was there for two reasons, to register his project and to gain the members' support in this project. Don Roberto said there'll be a lot of risk. Fabian said he'll take the risk and be resposible if anything should happen. If he failed they will know tht American market is still far out of their reach. He hope he'll get unconditional support from all of them. Don Roberto agreed tht the project is very interesting but a research must be done carefully before it's emplimented. Fabian agreed and asked Elena/Paloma to proceed. She flipped open her laptop and distributed a file to each member. She said tht the files contained a research of Mexican Arabica coffee and it's performance in New York stock market for the past 2 years. There's also a research on 'American Roaster' tht had been practised in most part of the world. Hacienda casablanca. Diego was alone thinking about Paloma. He remembered the day he gave the watch to Paloma and she swore to wait for him. Night.. Barbara received a call from Fabian. He told her tht he's with the council. He said he'll be there for a long time. He admitted tht Elena was there too coz he needed her there. Hacienda CAsablanca: Berenice received a call from BArbara who was angry about FAbian being with Elena. Berenice told her to calm down. Barbara was angrier and said if Berenice in her place, she would yell like a crazy woman too. She asked where did FAbian go. Barbara said he was supposed to be at the council and she didn't knew where else Fabian and Elena will end up tht night. Berenice said maybe she was just making the small thing big. Barbara yelled tht FAbian and tht woman made her look like a stupid woman. Berneice didn't know wht to say. Barbara said Fabian will have to choose tht woman or his marriage. Diego was drinking and remembered the night they made love. Fabian/Barbara's house: FAbian returned and Barbara was waiting for him. She said he won't be coming back. FAbian told her not to start another fight. BArbara said she knew the reason he married her. He just wanted a son. Fabian denied tht and said he loved her. Barbara said he was trapping her in this house to ensure the baby's safety. Fabian told her to calm down, she had been very emotional since her pregnancy. His patience has its limits. He needed Elena Olivares as his assistant and wanted her to clear her mind from bad thoughts. She said Fabian spent to much time with Elena instead of her. She believe it's because she's pregnant, so he prefer Elena. He tried to soothe her with his hug and said she will be back to normal as soon as their son is born. Barbara told him to stop wht his doing and asked him to look into her eyes and say tht he's not having an affair with Elena Olivares. He agree to swear tht there's nothing intimate going on between him and Elena. He swore on their son. Barbara said, if tht so, fire her. He had to choose, her or Elena. Barbara started to yell and wanted him to decide right away. He said he's tired, (his voice was rising too) his father didn't support him, he had an argument with Latore and now he had to face his wife's imagination and jealousy. Barbara kept yelling "it's her or me?" Fabian said, "Why don't you decide?" Diego returned, drunk. Diego opened the room door. Berenice asked why didn't he let her help him. Aurelio helped carry Jeremy into the house. Juancho said he found Jeremy in town. He updated to Diego tht now they were searching the middle section of the country. Diego told him to stop searching for Paloma. He said it's hard to find someone who didn't want to be found. sure fine whatever Cuando Seas Mia 20th episode Diego admitted to Juancho tht he's tired of looking for Paloma who clearly didn't want to be found. If she wanted meet him, she would have known where to look for him. El Cafetalero: Fabian was on the phone with someone. He's talking about getting 500 contracts. Later Elena/Paloma enterd with the monetary report of the hacienda tht had been entered into the system. He didn't want to check and told her to give to Diego so tht he can check it by himself. He then asked her about the exports report, she confirmed tht everything had been done. He wanted her to follow him and bring her laptop. She suggested tht during the 2-hour stock market break, he should go home to his wife. She offered to call Barbara but he refused but instead wanted her to tell Graciela to call Barbara to make sure tht his clothes were ready so tht the office boy can pick it up. He wanted to take a bath and change his clothes at the office. Secretary's table: Elena/Paloma told Graciela wht to do. Then she told Margarita to get Fabian something to eat coz he seemed tired. She also told Margarita to make sure the copies of reports must be sent to Diana and Diego as soon as possible. Elena/Paloma angrily told Graciela to do wht she asked her to do just now coz Fabian wanted his clothes. Graciela started reaching for the phone. Margarita whispered to Elena/Paloma tht Fabian slept in the office last night. She believed tht he had a great fight with his wife. Elena/Paloma seemed worried. Fabian/Barbara's house: Barbara grabbed the phone as soon as it rang. She thought it was FAbian, instead it was Graciela telling her tht Fabian wanted an office boy to pick up his clothes from BArbara. Barbara said she'll get everything ready, later she was angry when Graciela told her tht Elena was the one who gave the order. She said if Elena was brave enough, why don't she just come to her house and pick it up herself. later she threw away the phone. Angela was there watching Barbara's reaction. Barbara told Angela tht Elena was acting as if she owned the company. Angela wanted her to relax, if she kept being angry, she'll lose her husband. Barbara said, "I already lost him." ANgela assumed tht maybe Barbara didn't know the whole story, she has been hearing stories from Graciela only, maybe it was not true. She told Barbara not to make Fabian distress, because he need her. She can't just go yelling around about something tht she herself wasn't sure. Her attitude was opening an opportunity for other women to comfort Fabian. ANgela added tht Barbara's determination to destroy Elena Olivares was actually destroying her own marriage. Barbara was quiet but she seemed to be in protest. Angela calmed her down and told her to be wise, her enemy is not Elena but it's herself. Tears started falling from BArbara's eyes. Angela kissed her after telling her to think wht she had just said. El Cafetalero: Elena/Paloma told FAbian tht some of the calculations hadn't been done. He told her not to worry. She saw his collar and tie were disarranged and she swiftly reached for his neck to put them into place. They stood so close and at tht exact moment, Angela entered, surprised to see wht's going on. She asked to speak to Fabian. Elena/Paloma kept her head down and alter walked out of the room. Angela told her to go back home but FAbian said he had a meeting to attend. His mom warned him tht if his marriage is doomed, she'll never forgive him. She ordered him to talk to his dad but FAbian said his own dad was afraid of him and tht's why he tried to object his son's suggestion. Fabian believe tht his dad was afraid tht he might do better than his dad in the coffee business. Angela reminded her tht everything he did would be useless if they lose their wealth. She told him to prioritize, take control of himself and save his marriage first. Fabian believed tht his mom had been influenced by BArbara. He didn't care if Barbara want a divorce, at this point, Elena was the most important than Barbara. Angela again told him to go back to his wife. Fabian excused himself and left. Building/meeting: Fabian and Elena/Paloma were at the elevator. He told her tht this is the place where all coffee exporters meet and they need the exporters' support in 'Roaster' project. Later they arrived at the meeting. Elena/Paloma wondered why they were all men, where were the women? He told her to calm down. Fabian greeted everybody. before anyone started asking questions, Fabian quickly introduced Elena Olivares, his executive assistant. A man, Julian had been eyeing her since she entered the room. He praised her beauty. FAbian said she's exactly wht he need. After everyone were seated, Elena/Paloma distrubuted the proposal. Casablanca: Jeremy asked Matilde why did she do wht she did (i guess the scene got potong coz i didn't know why all the sudden Jeremy was crying). She said she can't tell him her dark story, tht's why she told him to leave. She loved him but she can't be with him. After Maltide left, Jeremy asked Diego if he can stay at the hacienda before he leave for London. Diego welcomed him. Later Diana arrived. Jeremy avoided from looking at her and went to sit at a bench. Diego and BErenice welcomed Diana. She said their grandma wanted her to make sure if it's true tht Diego and Berenice were back together again. Then she gave her brother the copy of the reports tht had been prepared for the hacienda. Diego said he owe this to Fabian. Diana said actually he should thank his assistant. Berenice told her not to talk about tht woman, she's a curse. Berenice said BArbara told her tht she had a huge fight with Fabian because of tht woman. Diana saw Jeremy, looking all sad and gloomy. She greeted him and surprised to see tht he was crying. Exporters meeting: Julian said, from his experience, the project will require a huge investment and the promotion will cost a lot more than the 'Roaster' project itself. Elena/Paloma stopped Fabian from talking and explained tht all tht had been carefully outlined in the proposal. FAbian said the cost won't be tht high coz it's already known in the coffee council. He's determined to make this work and he swore tht he either be in it or leave the business world for good. Fabian/BArbara's house: Barbara prepared a romantic candlelight dinner. Exporters meeting. Julian decided tht there's no more to discuss and Dr. Avellaneda (the president of coffee council) had already given his support with the project, so the rest of the exporters agreed with him. Avellaneda said FAbian had his full support in this and it will be their big step in the coffee business. Julian said this means FAbian will live in USA. He wonder if he can get in touch with him through Jorge Lattore. FAbian said they can contact Elena coz she knew everything about the project. Elena/Paloma said she'll be glad to help. Julian admitted tht he's jealous because FAbian got an efficient and beautiful assistant. Fabian had a proud smile across his face. Barbara/Fabian's house: Barbara called Angela and told her tht Fabian hadn't return and she had waited for a long time. Angela said she already told him to come home but he had to go for a meeting with a bunch of exporters. BArbara was sure tht Fabian left with 'tht woman'. Angela warned her not to let her jealousy kept her apart from Fabian, she should try to win his heart instead. Barbara promised to call her when Fabian get back. She said she'll wait for him not matter how long it'll take. Outside: Elena/Paloma and Fabian were walking out of the building. Fabian was happy with everything. She promised to keep the exporters and council updated about the project. He told her to make sure their interests in the project kept fresh. He was happy tht now cost was no longer a problem. She suggested tht they discuss tht later because she's tired. Faiban wanted to celebrate. She tried to turn him down but he made a cute puppy face and said, "This is an order Elena Olivares." Hacienda casablanca: Diego wanted Jeremy to follow him to see Don Manuel but he refused. Later Diana came and told them tht dinner would be ready in 15 minutes. Diego saw the way Jeremy and Diana exchanged looks, so he excused himself and left them alone. Diana wondered why all of the sudden Jeremy decided to go back to London. He didn's answer, and asked her when will she be going back. She never thought tht one day Jeremy will decide to go back to London because he seemed too happy to be in Mexico. He said one day he will have to return to the place where he came from. She was right when she said tht Mexico was not a place for him. Diana wondered wht happened. He said it was his mistake. Diana comforted him and offered him to come with her to Mexico City before going back to London. He wish the he had never follow her to Mexico, maybe they would still be lovers, living happily in London. Diana believe tht when he's back at London, he'll forget her. He said maybe the problem is, he can't for get her. She seemed surprised and hugged him. REstaurant: Elena/Paloma seemed nervous, drinking the cool water. She watched Fabian talking with his driver at the restaurant entrance. Fabian told the driver to leave the car and tell Barbara tht he's having dinner with the exporters. He puffed his cigar and looked at Elena who tried to put on a nice fake smile on her face. Fabian sat with Elena/Paloma and asked her why she seemed happier after the meeting and now she seemed uncomfortable. She said she's worried about his attitude. She felt overworked, she believe tht he should give tht kind of job to someone who is more qualified and experienced than her. Fabian looked at her and said she's lying and she not good at lying. He wanted her to tell him wht was bothering her. She asked why was he doing this? He admitted tht he trusted her. She wonder if this was the way to show his protest against his father and his family. FAbian said he was impressed with her work and she knew exactly wht he need, furthermore she's a fast learner. Hacienda casablanca: Berenice was on the phone with Barbara. She told her not to worry about Fabian and warned her not to drink alcohol coz it'll harm the baby. Diego praised the aroma of the food. diana said it was specially prepared for him. Berenice was still on the phone. She said maybe Fabian was just ignoring her to take revenge on her for making him choose between Elena and BArbara. She told Barbara to relax and plan her next move. Later she hang up and joined Diego, Diana and Jeremy at the dinner table. Berenice told them everything tht happened between Barbara and Fabian. And BArbara was still waiting for Fabian to return because she prepared a special dinner. Diana said maybe Fabian really want to divorce BArbara. Diego said 'no'. Fabian only wanted to hurt her feelings. Berenice said FAbian was with his assistant. Diego told her not to use an accusing voice. Jeremy was lost and wonder wht were they talking about. Diego said it's about FAbian's secretary who's making chaos in his family. Diego asked Diana how Fabian's assistant looked like. She said Elena was pretty and efficient. She started as a receptionist and now she's an executive assistant. Tht woman knows how to please Fabian. She admitted tht during the meeting she thought Fabian would fire her but instead she turned up with an impressive reports and presentations. She added tht BArbara looked like someone who had just been slapped by a huge hand. Berenice said tht was not wht Diego asking for. He was wondering how the woman look like, he wanted her to describe her face. Diego denied tht but Berenice insisted tht Diana tell them. Diana said Elena was very beautiful and tht's why Barbara was getting crazy. Diego quietly added "A wise and beautiful woman is dangerous." He told them not to make assumptions because non of them was sure if FAbian was having an affair with his assistant. Diego praised the delicious food. Outside Elena's apartment: Fabian drove her home and stopped at the entrance. She thanked him for dinner. He wished tht his friend didn't interrupt them. He unfasten his seatbelt. Elena/Paloma said she didn't mind about his friend because she get to brush up her German languange and proved tht she's still good at it. She wished him goodnight and FAbian suddenly moved closer and tried to kiss her. She pushed him away and gave him a good slap, she asked, "wht are u doing?" Later she was quiet because she had just realised wht she did had consequences. She promised tht she'll send her letter of resignation tomorrow. Fabian was quiet. She exited the car and entered her house. He watched her go and rubbed his freshly-slapped cheek. Hacienda: Diego excused himself coz he need to get up early tomorrow. He reminded Diana not to sleep too late and warned her and JEremy to sleep in separate rooms. He kissed Berenice goodnight and left. Diana said tht's a good sign, Berenice said he did tht everynight and nothing happens. After exchanging goodnights with Diana, Berenice excused herself. Aurelio saw her and they also exchanged goodnights. Fabian/Barbara's house: Fabian arrived home and Barbara was asleep. He light a candle, pour two glasses of wine and went to kiss Barbara's forehead. She woke up and accepted the wine. He said the dinner looked good but they're cold. She informed him tht she waited for him all night. He kissed her hand and said he tried to get back early but the meeting was quite long. Barbara apologize for letting her emotion take control of her. He told her not to worry because Elena was no longer working for him. Hacienda casablanca: Berenice went to sleep beside Diego. Aurelio pushed Josefina into an empty room and questioned her why was she torturing him and making him jealous by flirting with Libardo. He admitted after she came into his life, he didn't want Leonor anymore. He grabbed her and tried to kiss her. Josefina said, if he wanted her, he must leave his wife. She pushed him away. Berenice can't sleep and left for the kitchen. She drank a glass of cold water and rubbed some to her hot face and neck. Later Aurelio entered the kitchen too. She moved closer to him and they almost kiss but they were interrupted by Jeremy's cough who was also going to the kitchen to get some cool drinks. The food was making everyone hot. Berenice hid behind the kitchen counter. Morning... Paloma's apartment: Paloma wished tht she never accepted FAbian's invatation to have dinner with him. She was babling to herself. Soledad think Fabian deserved a slap. She asked wht paloma will do next. El Cafetalero: Fabian told Hernandez to get documents ready for Elena coz she's quiting. Hernandez asked if she's quiting or did he fire her. Fabian said she's quitting. Graciela was so glad with the news. Hacienda Casablanca: Berenice complained to Diana tht the food made everyone sleepy. Diana was thinking about another stronger recipe. Berenice wondered wht next next. She laughed when Diana answered, "Casanova Salad" Berenice said bettermake sure only Fabian take tht coz she can't take it anymore. El Cafetalero: Fabian took some files and dropped them on Graciela's table. He was angry because Graciela gave him the wrong files. She tried to explain but FAbian demanded her to get the information in graphes format. Before going back into his office, he told Graciela tht he hated her face. Paloma/Elena arrived and went to see Margarita. She told her tht she need to meet Hernandez about her resignation. Margarita guessed tht this might be because of FAbian's wife. Elena/Paloma said no. She made the decision to quit. Later Fabian was yelling at Graciela for getting the wrong information again. Graciela tried to blame Elena but later Elena/Paloma arrived and told her to stop making accusation. He told Graciela to go and get the correct information. Elena/Paloma said she's there to say goodbye. He hope tht before leaving she can teach Graciela how to handle the information. She said it's not easy coz it'll take a long time to teach Graciela. He told her to try help Graciela. Elena/Paloma said her hands were still sore from slapping him and she really didn't expect to slap him last night. He knew he has problems with his wife and she apologize. She was not sorry for slapping him but she hope he'll find a good replacement. He must decide whether he wanted an assistant or a lover. Fabian admitted tht her attitude really impressed him. She's brave and honest. He said having Graciela as an assistant was bad enough but having someone tht u rely on too much was just as bad. But if he was asked to choose, he'll choose Elena. She warned tht there're be consequences. He's ready to face any risks. They had come to an agreement tht she'll be back at work and he warned her never to slap him again no matter what is the reason. She promised tht will never happen again. He asked if she told anybody about the incident? she said of course not.' Fabian said he himself will help her all the way. Night.. A Hotel: Fabian greeted everyone. He brought Elena/Paloma to a cocktail party. Barbara/Fabian's house: Barbara cried when she heard from Graciela tht Fabian and Elena went for a cocktail party together. FAbian introduced Elena/Paloma to some of his friends. Three girls were talking about her. They saw Elena for the first time. They said they heard tht she's has good knowledge about coffee. They agreed tht no wonder Barbara was jealous. hacienda casablanca: Diego was looking at the graphes attached to the reports. Diana agreed tht Diego get Elena Olivares to come to the hacienda on the weekend to help him with records of the hacienda. He said he'll call her. Cocktail party: Elena/Paloma was stunned when someone snapped her photograph with Fabian. sure fine whatever |
