Cuando Seas Mia 22nd episode

Hospital: Elena/Paloma entered with the flowers and
Barbara was not happy to see her. Fabian introduced
her to everyone and Berenice commented tht she has
seen Elena/Paloma before.

Later she remembered they met her at a boutique and
saw her picture in Hernandez's office. Elena hope
Barbara like the flowers and excused herself.

Angela asked Fabian how could tht woman be there. It
was supposed to be for family only. FAbian said he
wanted to talk to Elena about work. ANgela said go and
make sure she's out of there.

Elena/Paloma stopped to talk to him. She said she ws
just worried. Fabian hope she didn't take wht happen
negative way coz she came at a very unappropriate
time. Later they were discussing about the stock
exchange in New York. He asked about the price of
coffee at the closing, she informed it was 1.95. His
men in New York were waiting for his orders. He asked
if there's anything important happen. She said she
cancelled Aldana's service, from the customs office.
Fabian was surprised tht Elena took such a big action
on tht man. She said tht man caused them to almost
lose their big client from Belgium, so she manage to
ship enough coffee to Belgium by getting coffee from
Brussels. Fabian looked at her in surprised coz he
knew the price would be higher. She told him tht they
didn't lose their profit only the margin of their
profit is lower. Later Bernando came to visit Barbara
and Fabian asked him to introduce another customs
officer for him. Bernando said Aldana was the best in
the business. But he knew someone who had just open
his office, his name was Rafael Perez. Fabian told
Elena to call tht man. He thanked her for coming and
for the flowers. While walking out, Elena/Paloma heard
Fabian talking about October is coming and they'll
have lots of coffee coming from hacienda Casablanca.

Night..
Hospital: Bernando hugged his mom and left. Berenice
said Diego was happy tht Barbara was now OK and he
decided not to come to Mexico City. He can't leave the
hacienda coz harvesting season will come soon. Later
Fabian came and told them tht Barbara was much better
and she's sleeping. He said he can't sleep at the
hospital and wanted to go home. He offered to send
Berenice home while Angela went away with Diana.

Paloma's apartment: Soledad asked why did Paloma
entered the snakes' nest. It was a bad decision. She
said she had enough pain and told her mom to stop
scolding her. Soledad gave her a document left for
her. Paloma said at last she get to register her new
name. From tomorrow Soledad will be Soledad Suarez,
widow of Mr Olivares. Soledad said it sound ungly. She
wanted to choose another name such as Montenegro, Del
Valle, Del Castillo. Paloma laughed and said they
can't choose other names.

She later told her mom tht she was on the phone with
Diego but he was angry. He didn't recognised her voice
and later at the hospital she met his wife, Berenice,
who was so beautiful. and couldn't believe tht they
had bumped into each other before. SHe felt like
quiting. Her mom was right, Diego can appear anytime.
Soledad asked wht was she doing? Paloma just want to
run away from Diego. Soledad said Paloma had changed a
lot. If someone who met her a year ago, might not even
recognise her now, especially with the name Elena
Olivares. She said maybe Diego will meet Elena
Olivares who remind him of his love, Paloma. Elena
said tht will never happen, only in telenovela. The
day she and Diego met would be a disaster, even God
can't stop it and her career will end. So she wanted
to deal with the business with the exporters as soon
as possible and later she can quit.

Berenice/Diego's house: Fabian stopped by Berenice's
house. He told her from the other room tht his
pictures in the paper was not tht intimate with tht
woman. BErenice entered the from the other room and he
seemed affected. She was in her robe drying her hair
with a towel. Fabian took a drink and decided to
leave. Berenice was sad coz it's sad to eat alone. She
said he was a good cook to prepare all these. They
looked into each others' eyes and Fabian decided to
stay and eat dinner.

Hacienda Casablanca: Diego was listening to the sad
songs again. Later Jeremy came and asked if he had any
cyanide coz no one want to take care of his
plantation. Juancho introduced to him some men but no
one show their interest. He can't forget the tobacca
plantation because it was his only real work to be
left in tht area. Diego said Matilde was trying to
trap Jeremy. She delibrately suggested to burn the
plantation so tht Jeremy decided to stay and continue
to observe the plantation. Jeremy said there's no way
he's returning. he'll be in mexico city tomorrow and
thanked Diego for giving him a loan. Diego went to
increase the volume of the song. He smlied thinking
tht October will come soon. Jeremy said maybe the
whole family knew tht Diego was waiting for Paloma.

Berenice/Diego's house: Berenice and Fabian were
having dinner. She believe this year's harvesting
season won't be different from the last one. Fabian
said may Diego already forgot about the coffee
plantation worker. She said Fabian knew tht everything
was fine between her and Diego except they didn't have
a perfect marriage yet and Diego can't forget tht
girl. Fabian asked if she's not expecting to have
perfect marriage in future. She said she did
everything to get Diego, she follow wht Diana said,
she follow wht Barabara said, she even went to a bruja
but nothing work. Fabian laughed quietly. She admitted
she never talk about this with a man before. Before
Diego she had a few relationships and those were
freaky ones, tht why she accepted Diego's condition in
the marriage. She asked if he can imagine sleeping
next to a man who was thinking about another woman. It
hurts and she can't even compete with a memory. Fabian
held her in his arms. Later the phone rang. It was
Diego. She told him tht everything was fine and
Barbara will go home tomorrow.

Diego told her tht he'll be in Mexico city on behalf
of the coffee committee for a congress in October.
She's happy he's coming. Later they hang up.

She told Fabian tht Diego will represent the coffee
committee in the Congress. She doubt th he would come,
may be he'll find excuse not to come. Fabian stood
very close to her and turn her to face him. They
looked at each other.

Later half of Berenice's face filled the screen. She
was telling Fabian tht she followed Diana suggestion
to buy sexy nightdress. When she wore it for Diego, he
told pulled a blanket over her because it was too cold
and later Diego went to sleep without looking at her.
She had to go out of the bed room to get some fresh
air. She thought the problem in this mariage was
herself, she' not beautiful enough for Diego. Fabian
said she's a beautiful, desirable woman. She told him
not to play with her. He said it's true. He stood
close to her and kissed the back of her neck. He said
it's clear tht Diego had bigger problem than they
imagine. Later they kissed (of course the scene was cut)

Hacienda: Diego admitted to Jeremy tht it's hard to
let Berenice go, he's in a difficult situation. He
drank his tequila and said he dind't want to think about it.

Jorge told Fabian tht he was impressed by the way
Elena handled the Lacombe (from Belgium) and Aldana
(customs office) problems. She kept them surpsised all
the time. Fabian said he can definitely trust her to
do anything. Jorge just hope tht she can lose her
temper, she even has the guts to make Diego angry.

Later Fabian was on the phone telling his agent to
sell 64 sacks of coffee at -3. Jorge was surprised and
said this is too much. If they knew they selling at
low price, their business would be blocked. Fabian
said he realised Jorge was not important anymore. He
said he had to move a large amount of coffee to
America to show his strength in the business and he
need to make loans so tht 'Roaster' project will
succeed. He felt his time was wasted hearing Jorge
telling him the latest gossip. Jorge warned him tht
he's playing with fire and soon he'll realised the
consequences. Jorge went out of the office and then
Graciela came telling Fabian tht his wife is on the phone.

He told her to relax and wanted to talk to his mom.
She passed the phone to Angela. He told her tht he
need to talk to his grandma so tht she can try get
Diego to to accept the offer as thre representative in
Coffee congress. Angela promised to talk to Dona Ines,
later they hang up. Barbara asked wht was tht about.
Angela told her tht Fabian wanted Dona Ines to
pressure Diego and made him to agree to come to Mexico
city for the Coffee Congress. Angela said Fabian was
working harder after they lost the baby. Barbara
admitted tht she still can't express to him her regret
to wht happened. Angela said it was too late for tht.
She bet tht in October, if the plantation return to
the hacienda, she and Fabian will have a huge problem.
She blamed Barbara for placing their fate on a coffee
worker's hands. Barbara tired not to cry.

Elena/Paloma was on the phone asking someone to make
sure tht 5 thousand sacks of coffee available at the
port. Later a man came asking to meet Fabian. Graciela
smiled pleasantly to him. The man's name is Rafael
Perez Gutierez. Elena/Paloma brought him to see
Fabian. He told Elena/Paloma to file a report on the
exports meeting. She mentioned tht they still have
problems with coffee from Casablanca. Fabian told her
to catch the flight to hacienda Casablanca and solve
the problems. He wanted her there to reconstruct the
management. She said it was too fast.

Later Fabian was with Rafael Perez discussing about
coffee tht he need to export a lot in order to make
him the best coffee company so tht he can get licence
for Roaster project. His target is 3 million, Perez
gave him his word tht he'll work closely with him.
Perez caught Fabian's attention when he said he can
help Fabian even though he didn't export anything,
Perez can make like it did. He said he had methods to
do tht. They will be the greatest export company in history.

Dona Inez was glad tht Diego was chosen as a
representative at the Congres, it was a show of
respect to Joaquin and Lorenzo. Angela and Diana
voiced they worriness coz in October the coffee worker
might return and Diego might not come. Ines said Diego
can't deny the offer. Dona Ines wathed Barbara who was
lying on the couch looking very sad.

Plantation: Aurelio and Diego were talking about the
coming harvesting season. Aurelio planned to put up
their ad poster in Veracruz hoping to attract many
coffee workers. Diego wanted him to advertise it on
radio too, he wanted the ad to have something special.

Jeremy came to meet Diego at his office. He told Diego
tht he has packed and wonder if Carlos can send him to
the airport. Later Dona Ines called ordering him to
accept the offer. Diego said he had too much work at
the hacienda. She said no matter wht, she must be a
representative at the congres, she didn't wait for him
to answer and hang up.

Perez said it's an honour to be working with El
Cafetalero. After Perez left, Elena/Paloma told Fabian
tht he had something important to talk to him. FAbian
answered a call from Angela and Elena/Paloma was
surprised tht Diego will be coming for a congres.
ANgela said Dona Ines has made sure tht Diego come.
Fabian asked if Berenice had arrived, Angela said no.
She guessed tht Berenice will be happy with the news.

Diego hope he and Jeremy can meet when he come to
Mexico city soon. Jeremy hope Paloma will appear in
October and live happily ever after with Diego. They
hugged. Jeremy left with Carlost to the airport and
about tht time a taxi arrived. He whispered Paloma's
name and ran towards the taxi. It was Berenice. He
asked why she came back? She said she needed him and
she hugged him.

Jeremy stopped at the plantation to talk to Matilde.
She ran from him. He chased her and found her sat by a
table having a drink. He asked why she wanted to stay
there, does she love his uncle? She said she was
trapped because Don manuel lied to her and her family
saying tht he'll send him to the university. She said
she had to stay and hope one day Don Manuel will die
and leave everything to her. Tht will be her reward.

Fabian asked why didn't she didn't want to go to the
hacienda? She said she ws not feeling well. Fabian
told her to stop giving stupid excuses. He wanted her
to go to the hacienda, he only trust her to do the
work correctly. She said she wanted to quit. Fabian
was stunned.

Cuando Seas Mia 23rd Episode

El Cafetalero: Elena/Paloma still didn't want to go to
the hacienda, instead she wanted to quit and leave the
company. Fabian asked if she's crazy. She said she's
tired lying for him and it will only increase his
problem. Fabian asked if it's about his wife? He said
he din't care about his family, he just care about the
company. He admitted tht he can't let her go, he
needed her. If she wanted a higher pay, he'w willing
to give a raise. She said no. She respected him and
enjoy working with him. He said they were too close to
success, why would she want to quit? He called her a traitor.

Casablanca: Diego was preparing some papers for the
congres. he said she should have just wait in mexico
city. Later the phone rang. It was Diana. He was
surprised tht Jeremy wasn't there with diana coz he
already gone to the airport with Carlos.

Later Aurelio arrived. He went directly to the cabinet
and didn't realise Berenice was there with Diego. With
his back turned towards Diego and Berenice, he said he
had handled the advertisement in Veracruz and the
radio advertisement will have the backgroud song from
Paloma's tape. Diego didn't get to stop him and
Berenice raised in anger when she heard Paloma's name.
Berenice walked out. And Aurelio rubbed his forehead.

El Cafetalero: Elena/Paloma said she's not a traitor,
she just want send her letter of resignation. He
yelled 'no!' he won't accept tht. He'll be going to
America and she had to be here to manage the company.
She can't believe he trusted her tht much. They'll be
in touch trough the internet and video conference.
Elena/Paloma thanked him for the oportuniy but she
just wish tht she didn't have to go to Casablanca.
Fabian said why didn't she said tht from the start?
They wont have to have this conversatation at all. He
asked if her mom was really sick? she said no. He
suggested tht she should have a boyfriend. She nodded
and exited the room.

Casablanca: Diana called Diego, Jeremy still hdn't
arrive. He told her not to wait anymore.

Don Manuel's hacienda: Jeremy was drinking and later
Don manuel was walking towards him. Jeremy decided not
to leave the tobacco plantation. Don manuel called
Matilde and later they celebrate. Jeremy smiled to
Matilde. Don Manuel hope there will be no
misunderstanding after this.

Casablanca: Berenice came to meet Diego who was still
looking through his documents. He said the Congres
will be on the end of 1st week in October. He'll be in
Mexico City for a week. She wish they can stay there
longer. He said she can stay there no matter how long
or she can follow him home.

Paloma's apartment: Paloma told her mom wht happen in
Fabian's office. She didn't wan't to be accused as a
traitor. So she can't leave but she's worried one day
someone might recognise her. Soledad said now they
have to accept the fact tht she's now an executive
assistant. Paloma later told Soledad tht FAbian wantd
her to manage the whole company. Soledad gaped and her
eyes widened. She said thi is a miracle. Paloma said
it'll only be a miracle if Diego didn't appear. She's
worried coz Diego will be in Mexico City for the
coffee congress. Soledad raised from her seat and said
this time Paloma got wht she deserved.

Morning...

Casablanca: The radio advertisement of Hacienda
Casablanca looking for plantation workers was being
aired. And at the end there was the Paloma song.
Berenice came to get breakfast for Diego. Later
Aurelio came to meet Josefina. He threw away his hat
and hugged Josefina. Berenice returned and heard them
making out. She quietly watched them.

El Cafetalero: Fabian was entering his office and
Elena/Paloma told him tht his flight had been
confirmed. He told her to call Lombana about the
problems with grinder. She said she already called and
Lombana said it'll be settled as soon as possible, she
asked if he wanted her to call again? he just nodded.
He told her to call Mr Perez coz he need to see the
ship certificates. She said she already had those
certificates with her. Graciela seemed to be working
but her ears were catching each words spoken by Elena
and Fabian. Elena/Paloma asked him about the cancelled
meeting tht will be held on another date. He said
she'll be going to tht meeting instead of him coz she
already knew everything.

Later he told Graciela to tell Hernandez to clear
Lombana's office. from now Elena Olivares will stay in
tht office. Graciela was stunned. While he's gone,
Graciela will be Elena's secretary. Elena/Paloma's
eyebrows arched and Graciela gaped in surprised.

Later Dona Ines arrived. Fabian welcomed her and she
greeted Elena/Paloma. Dona Ines wanted to speak with
Fabian. They entered his room. Elena/Paloma sat slowly
and smiled victoriously towards Graciela. She asked
"How's tht? Is your heart hurt?" Graciela looked away.


Dona Inez wanted him to remember tht next 6th October
will be 2nd year Don Lorenzo died. She want him to be
home. Dainela will also be coming from Paris. Fabian
agree to come. Later Elena/Paoma entered with a file.
Dona Inez watned the list names of people tht they
wanted to come to the religious ceremony. elena/Paloma
agree to help with the list. Elena looked at Dona Inez
when she said she hope Diego will come earlier one day
for the ceremony. Fabian told her to call Diego and
told him about the religious ceremony. Her smile was bitter.

Casablanca: Diego was discussing with the Coffee
Comittee about the possibility tht the price of coffee
will be on a fixed price. THey're worried tht they
won't be able to make any profit from the fixed price.
Diego said let the market determine the price. He's
happy tht they all at the same side.

room: Aurelio entered a room he was surprised to see
Berenice there, waiting for him.

Casablanca: Later Josefina came to Diego and asked if
she should get lunch ready. He wonder where's Berenice
and told Josefina to get everything ready.

room: Berenice was buttoning up her clothes and
Aurelio did the same while puffing his cigarrette.

Fabian/Barbara's house: Barbara was on the phone with
Graciela. Barbara was angry to hear tht Fabian put
Elena in charge of everything and gave her an office.
Graciela added tht she wasn't happy tht she'll be
Elena's assistant. Barbara wanted to speak to FAbian
but he already gone to the airport. Barbara wanted to
take the advantage while FAbian is gone to get rid of Elena.

Casablanca: Josefina brought drinks to the guests.
Diego told them tht since his grandpa died, the
company and hacienda had been divided. Later Berenice
came. Diego said they were waiting for her to have
lunch together. She said she had some work to do.
later the phone rang. It was elena wish to speak to
Diego. She handed him the phone. Elena told her about
the religious ceremony on 6th October. He asked who
was this she introduced herself as Elena Olivares. He
said he can't coz he can only arrive tht night. Her
phone slipped from her hands.

Paloma's apartment: Paloma told her mom tht Diego
would only arrive tht night. She was relieved coz
he'll arrive after the ceremony ended.

Casablanca: Aurelio told Diego tht he wanted to quit.
Diego said he can't, he's important in the family. He
asked wht's Aurelio's problem. he realised tht Aurelio
had been acting strange. Aurelio was sweating, he said
he better quit. Diego stopped him from leaving and
said he need Aurelio for the coming harvesting season.
He wanted Aurelio to spill his problem, he'll do
anything to help.

Diego said he had to leave the Hacienda on the 6th
october. He need Aurelio to be at the hacienda coz he
had a dream tht Paloma will return will the other
coffee workers and Aurelio had to be here for him.
Aurelio said Diego cn trust him. Diego hugged him.

Harvesting season started. many workers arrived but
there's no Paloma or Soledad. Diego was looking around
for the familiar face.

Church: FAbian returned and arrive at the church with
Barbara. Dona Ines and Diana was already there. Dona
Ines said Diego and Berenice won't be there today. He
later thanked Elena for handling everything.

Aurelio shook his head when Diego called his name.
Berenice was watching them.

Church: Religious ceremony for Don Lorenzo was being
held. Paloma had flashback of the first time she and
Diego laid eyes on each other.

hacienda: Diego was holding a coffee bean and
remembering his times with Paloma.

Church: Paloma was also remembering about the same thing.

hacienda: Diego went to Paloma's cabin and it was
locked and empty.

Church: Soledad came to give her respect to Don
Lorenzo. Paloma missed her the first time she looked
at soledad but later she shot a second look when she
was sure it was her mom.

Dona Ines' apartment: Berenice and Diego arrived at
Dona Ines' place. Everybody was waiting for them.

Dining table: Fabian announced tht he had signed the
contract, and many accept his Roaster project. Later
Diego and Berenice greeted them. Daniela was so happy
to see her brother. She ran into his arms. He thought
she already become a french girl. She playfully
slapped his shoulder.

Berenice went to Dona Ines and apologize for not being
there earlier. Dona Ines said it's ok, it's not her fault.

Daniela whispered to her brother asking if tht's his
wife or the coffee plantation worker. later Diego
introduced Berenice to Daniela. They were glad to
finally meet each other. Daniela wished tht she could
come to their wedding but their decision to get
married was too soon and she couldn't get to them tht
soon. Diego greeted everyone and went to kiss his
grandma, she looked away to avoid Diego from kissing
her cheek. She was angry tht Diego didn't come to the
religious ceremony. FAbian said it's time to celebrate
tht now El Cafetalero has its own Roaster in America.
Juan Francisco wished to see the reports and how much
their debts. He wanted to audit everything himself.
Fabian announced tht El Cafetalero didn't have any
serious debts. Dona Ines warned FAbian not to make any
decision without consulting Juan Francisco. Fabian
said the company was not the one bearing the debts. He
allowed his dad to do the audit but he didn't want his
don't to interfere with his business. ANgela warned
him not to start a fight during dinner.

Dona Ines announced tht she's sad today and it's
because of Diego. FAbian came back in time, Daniela
missed her flight but manage to turn up, Bernando
cancelled his work. Everyone show effort to come but
Diego didn't. She wanted Diego to understand her
feeling and remember how their grandpa sacrifice for
them. Diego apologized and said he can't leave the
hacienda earlier. Dona Ines refused to hear any
excuse. Even other people who was not family was able
to come to the ceremony.

Paloma's apartment: Paloma asked her mom wht was her
mom doing at the church. Soledad said she wanted to
give her respect. Paloma wondered if there's something
Soledad is hiding. She wondered why Soledad was so
interested in Don Lorenzo and she was so sad. Soledad
sad she knew Don Lorenzo for a long time and he was a
nice man. She'll always remember him. She said Paloma
will never understand.

Dona Ines' place: Berenice and Diego arrive from the
airport by El Cafetalero's van. Everything had been
prepared by Elena. Fabian said he told Elena to help
Diego with anything he need during the congress. Deigo
thanked Fabian but he won't be needing help from a
tiger. He said Elena sent him a fax accusing tht he
sent bad coffee. Fabian said he heard tht Diego was so
mad mad with her. Fabian said actually it was the
grinding factory fault who gave the wrong information
to Elena. Barbara said yeah everything was not Elena's fault.

Juan Francisco asked Diego if the harvesting season
started. Diego said harvesting process has started.
Juan Francisco said Diego didn't have to be at the
Hacienda, Aurelio was experienced in handling the
whole thing. Diego said he wanted to take care of
everything himself. Juan Francisco wonder how much is
the target for this year harvesting season. Diego said
it'll be twice the amount produced last year. Daniela
said she loved this family coz their love was bind by
coffee. Everybody laughed.

Fabian was happy with tht and said he need 65 thousand
sacks by the end of October. Juan Francisco wondered
if FAbian can handle El CAfetalero and Roaster at the
same time. Fabian said he won't be leaving el
Cafetalero. Barbara wanted Fabian to announce who he
decided to replace him. Fabian said he chose Elena
Olivares coz everyone knew she can do her work and
he'll kept in touch with her while he handle the
market in America. It's also because there's no other
candidate for tht post. He can choose Jorge coz he had
no talent in managing compana. Lombana was an executie
who only know how to accept orders. He can't see any
other candidate. Barbara said at last, she get wht she
wanted. Fabian wondered why she was so jealous of an
excellent worker like Elena. He said she need not to
worry coz soon they be traveling often to America.
Barbara said she was worry about the company because
Don Lorenzo stated in his will tht only family can
manage the company. She said the post will be for
good. Inez agreed with Barbara. She agreed tht Elena
is good but they must follow Don Lorenzo's will. It'll
either be Fabian, Diego or Bernando.

Fabian said this is to follow the will, he wonder if
Juan Carlos interested leaving New york? Juan
Francisco said no. He asked if Bernando willing to
leave the shipping company, he said no. They can
choose Diana but she had no experience, he mentioned
Daniella but she had her own plans to go into movies,
so the only one left is Diego. He'll handle El
Cafetalero while Fabian is in America.

Dona Ines' house: Diana told Fabian to stop making fun
of her. Daniela said there's no way she's handling the
company and if she really got the company, she'll turn
it into to movie producing company. Everybody laughed.
So the only one candidate left was Diego. He'll be
handling the company while Fabian is in America.
Fabian said everyone knew his answer, he won't leave
the hacienda. Juan Francisco said even Diego's dad
didn't live in the hacienda during harvesting season.
Diego still with his decision. FAbian said he can't
stay, he had to be in America to observe closely the
stock market. Diego said he had nothing to do with an
export company, he just want to be at the hacienda.
Everyone want him to think it over for the best of the
company. Bernice tried to sweet talked him but he
still not interested and he started raise his voice
and started a fierce arguement with Diana. Dona Ines
raised her voice warning them to shut up and respect
the soul of their grandfather. She never thought this
meeting will turn out this way. She didn't want to
hear anything about the company or the hacienda, she
wish they'll discuss this tomorrow at the office. She
wondered where Diego's responsibility for the company,
he has been selfish. Diego said she knew it's not like
tht. Dona Ines wanted him to prove it.

Diego angrily left the table and Daniella followed him
to a room. Diego said he should have known tht the
idea of getting him there was to make him stay in the
city. They were afraid tht he might meet the
plantation worker again. He said since Barbara lost
her baby, they must be worried tht he might have a son
with his lover and wht makes him mad was tht Diana was
on their side. Diana can't accep the fact tht Diego
wanted to be with a worker. Diego said if he ever want
a son, he wanted it to be from Paloma. Daniela was
surprised tht nothing happened between her brother and
Berenice. She later told hi to follow his instinct but
he had to becareful with Dona Ines who will keep
pressuring him. Diego thanked her for being so
understanding, they hugged. Later Daniela quietly
asked if he really didn't feel anything for Berenice.
He said she's a good companion, he liked her but tht's
it, tht all she'll get coz their marriage were bsed on
a few conditions. Daniela laughed coz she couldn't
believe there's a woman who will accept such
condition. She doubt tht Berenice like the conditions.

Berenice told everyone tht Diego had been waiting for
the plantation worker to arrive back at the hacienda.
Later Dona Ines excuse herself. Diana and Barbara
tried to calm down Berenice and hope they can do the
best to make Diego stay. Barbara said Fabian will
help. Fabian looked at Berenice.

Paloma's apartment: Paloma was knocking on the locked
door. Her mom was inside looking at a picture of Don
Lorenzo and she was crying. Paloma was begging her mom
to open the door and promise not to ask anymore
questions. She said she won't sleep on the couch and
began to call her mom 'Soledad' and added 'I love
you'. She asked her mom going to forgive her. She
turned to leave and heard Soledad said she's a great daughter.

Dona Ines' house: Barbara and FAbian was happy tht
Berenice was going to stay for the weekend there.
Berenice and FAbian were looking at each other.
Barbara commented tht Berenice looked wierd, he told
her to stop making assumptions.

Bernando went to Diego and begged him to consider the
desicion coz he can't leave the shipping company.
Diego said there's nothing to consider, El Cafetalero
belonged to Bernando's and his family, Diego had
nothing to do with it. Juan Francisco hope they'll
meet tomorow to solve some management problems. Diego
said his desicion will not change.

Diego called Aurelio to check if Paloma came and told
him to call him if anything happen. Diego look forward
to going back. Berenice looked at him and wht his
saying with interest.

Fabian warned Barbara not to ever question him about
his work in front of his family ever again. He was
very angry and talking very loud. If she still do tht,
he'll never be nice to her again. Barbara said Elena
was making him blind, she was just helping him. FAbian
said he didn't need her help and warned her to
becareful from now on.

El Cafetalero: Fabian told Elena/Paloma to prepare
everything for a meeting at 6.00 today. FAbian said he
was hoping to do it earlier but Diego couldn't come.
She seemed stoned. Fabian said he's having problem
with his family.

Paloma went to Margarita and margarita asked if
there's anything wrong. Elena/Paloma needed her help.
She told her tht she wanted margarita to help her
organise the afternoon meeting coz she had something
else to do. She told Margarita tht she didnt want to
bump into the other Sanchez Sambrano. Margarita told
her tht she can't get tickets for Diego and his wife
to go back on Friday coz the flights were full, they
were booked on Monday flight. Elena/Paloma quietly
said oh no we have to hide for two more days.
Margarita asked wht was tht about? Elena didn't
explain anything. She kissed her friend good by and left.

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Berenice asked Josefina
(on the phone) if Paloma came, she said no coz she
checked the list herself. Berneice wanted Josefina to
call her as soon as there's news.

Diana told Berenice tht they must used Dona Ines
situation to help them get Diego to stay in the City.
Later the phone rang and Berneice was happy to hear
tht the earliest flight available was on Monday. Diana
hope the next flight would be delayed too.

hacienda: Leonor was angry wth Josefina coz using the
phone for personal business. Leonor threatened to tell
Aurelio and Josefina wasn't afraid at all. Leonor told
Josefina to stop fooling around and tell her the truth.

Berenice/Diego's apartment: Diego returned. He knew
tht Berneice and Diana planned to make him stay. Diana
told him to consider their grandma's feeling. Diego
said Fabian and his father will find a perfect
replacement, he just want to go back this Friday. He
was angry when Berenice told him tht they can only go
back on Monday coz the tickets are not available. He
wondered if tht was Berenice's plan to make him stay.
Bernice said she did nothing.

El Cafetalero: FAbian told Elena/Paloma tht her
attendance to the meeting was important and she can't
avoid it. She said she tried to cancel her appoinment
with her doctor but she can't. He said she can take
leave for the next day but definitly not today. She
suggested tht Graciela and Margarita can help, he
didn't to hear anything more from her and told her to exit.

Berenice arrived with Diego to confirm tht Margarita
was the one who call her about the flight on Monday.
Diego asked who made the reservation? MArgarita said
it was Elena Olivares. Diego demanded to talk to Elena
and Margarita told him how to get to her office.
Margarita quickly called Elena/paloma and told her tht
Diego is on the way to her office. Paloma/elena said
it is too early. She hang up and put on her
sunglasses. She quielty exited through the other door.
Diego saw her and kept looking at the woman wo was
rushing away. Elena/Paloma peeked back towards them.

Diego knocked the door, when no one answered, he
entered the empty room. On the way out he search for
the rushing girl again but she was not around.

They went to Graciela. Graciela told them tht Elena
always make a dissapearing act. Berenice said no
wonder Barbara didn't like tht woman. Later Diana came
and asked if they knew who made the reservation.
Berenice said the person responsible had dissapeared.
Diego was in deep thought, he had a flashback of wht
he saw just now, he ws sure tht the woman running away
was wearing a familiar watch, his watch. Berenice
broke his flashback and asked him if they should go
and eat first. He agreed.

While waiting for the elevator, he told Diana and
Berenice to go first and excused himself. He went to
Margarita's desk and margarita told him tht Elena left
a minute ago and he must have missed her. He asked
where did she go, Margarita assuming tht she went to
see a doctor coz she wasn't feeling well. Diego
demanded to know which clinic and wanted to meet Elena
as soon as possible. Later FAbian approached them n
happy to see Diego was early. Diego said he's there to
see Elena about his tickets but Elena was no where to
be found. Fabian said she warned Elena not to leave.
Fabian told MArgarita to keep trying to get Elena and
left with Diego. Elena/Paloma lowered her sunglasses
and observing wht was happening.

Casablanca: Aurelio was asking around if they met
Paloma, no one seen them. Later Leonor came to meet
him wanting to speak about Josefina who began to use
the phone for personal business. Aurelio said maybe
she was talking to Berenice. She asked why Aurelio was
acting wierd. She guessed tht it might be because of
Josefina. He told her to stop talking nonsense. Leonor
didn't want to see Josefina in the house ever again.
She said people saw Josefina went to see a witch
doctor. She warned him tht she didn't want to see tht
woman touch anything in the kitchen ever again.

El Cafetalero: Fabian was getting angry and told
MArgarita to get Elena in his office in 30 minutes.
Diego asked if tht woman always do this? He said no.
He screamed for Graciela and told her to find Elena as
soon as possible, if she didn't find her, he'll fire
Graciela. Graciela quickly left.

Paloma's apartment: Paloma was at home and the phone
was ringing. She ignored it. Her mom asked wht's
wrong. She said she didn't want to meet Diego. Soledad
said let Diego see wht he had accomplished. Paloma
said tht will only reveal her true identity and she'll
be in jail. Soledad said she can't keep running away.
she must face it. There's nothing she can do about
Diego coz he's married. She said Diego never loved
her. Soledad said don't let her fear handled her
feelings, it'll be a hard burden to carry. She looked
at her mom who talking as if from her own experience.

El Cafetalero: Dona Inez and the rest arrived for the
meeting, including Daniela. FAbian welcomed everybody
but Elena was no where to be found. He warned Graciela
tht she had 10 minutes to find Elena.

Paloma's apartment: Paloma looked at her mom. She hugged her.

El Cafetalero: The meeting started. Dona Ines warned
everybody not to start another argument in this
meeting. The problems must be solved immediately.
FAbian said he had prepared everything for his dad to
check. Later they were discussing about Fabian's
decision to let Elena Olivares take over his duty. She
said it's not like wht Don Lorenzo wanted. He wanted a
Sanchez Sambrano to take care of their own property to
ensure the prosperity of their wealth. Dona Ines said
she didn't mean to push them but it's wht their
grandpa wanted. Juan Francisco really didn't want to
leave wht he had in New York. Fabian said he can leave
the project and forget about everything tht he had
been fighting to do. Barbara disagree and said he
can't just gave it up like tht. Bernando said if
there's no one else, he'll agree to leave his beloved
job at the shipping company and sacrifice for the best
of all. Doan Ines said no one need to sacrifice, from
her instict she knew very well who should do this. Out
of nowhere Diego answered, "I accept it". Fabian
thought he heard him wrongly and asked again. Diego
confirmed tht he decided to accept the position.
Everyone was smiling.

Berneice and Daniela wondered if Diego was serious. He
said he had think about tht a lot and made a decision.
Dona Ines said this was the best decision he had ever
made. Berenice thanked him and hugged him. Daniela
quickly looked away. Bernando hugged Diego and thanked
him for the decision. Daniela wondered who gave her
brother big money to make him take the desicion.
Fabian was relieved too. Later Graciela entered and
told Fabian tht the messenger she sent had returned
but Elena Olivares was not found. Fabian said her
attandence was not important anymore. Graciela was so
relieved and smiled.

Barbara said to Berenice tht now Elena Olivares will
realise tht she won't get wht she want. Berenice
thanked Barbara for starting the motion tht El
Cafetalero should be managed by a Sanchez Sambrano.
They smiled and hugged. FAbian approached them and
asked Berenice if she's not going to hug him? She
awkwardly turned towards him and gave him a quick hug.

Dona Ines kissed Diego and said she knew tht he will
never let her down and she will always trust him. She
wondered where's Elena Olivares. Bereniece said she
heard tht Elena went to the hospital. Barbara was
happy tht everything was going perfect. Fabian was
leaving, Berenice got rid of the coffee worker and
Elena Olivares will be eliminated soon.

Elena/Paloma was in her office thumping her pencil.
margarita came to check on her. She was worried and
wondered why mystery lingered between Elena/Paloma and
Diego. She asked Margarita to join her at the meeting room.

Diego wish tht someone will teach him, coz he didn't
know much about the business. Fabian told him not to
worry. Fabian later opens the door to the one who will
bring success to the company. Elena/Paloma entered.

Elena/Paloma and Diego saw each other at last and
Fabian introduced them and Diego will be her new boss.
Fabian said they were celebrating and offered her wine
she said no, thanks. Daniela asked Diego if tht is
Barbara's enemy? Diego was still staring. Berenice
told him to sit. Elena/Paloma turned to look at him
from time to time. Juan Francisco explained to Elena
tht Fabian will be busy with Roaster project, so Diego
will take over Fabian's place. Juan Carlos realised
they were locking eyes for a long time, so he asked if
they met before. Elena/Paloma said 'no' while Diego
said 'yes'. Diego said he had seen her before. Juan
Francisco said Diego might need lots of help. Dona
Inez added tht they agree to accept FAbian's
suggestion to make Elena Assistant manager. Diego said
he had no problem with tht. And Fabian said he can
start anytime he wanted to. Later they drank for the
new Manager and Assitant Manager of El Cafetalero.
Dona Ines was happy tht everything had been settled
and Diego will be in the City. Berenice said this was
also a special day for her because it's hers and
Diego's 1st anniversary. Barbara suggested they
kissed, Elena/Paloma looked away. Berenice said she'll
always remember tht each year when harvest season
arrived, it meant their anniversary had also arrived.
She said she loved him. Elena/ Paloma stood up and
excused herself. Fabian told to stay coz they need to
discuss with Diego. Diego said he had a lot to ask
her. She said of course and then she left.

Everybody was kssing goodbye and Berenice kissed Diego
before leaving. She said she had a surprise for him.
Elena/Paloma saw them. Later Daniela commented to him
tht he seemed as if he loved coffee more than he loved
his own wife. She asked why suddenly he decided to
accept the job? was it because he's afraid tht Don
Lorenzo's ghost will haunt him? Diego said he felt as
if it's something tht he had to do. Fabian called
Diego to join him but Diego said he need to meet his
assistant first. (Elena was walking towards her
office). Fabian told him not to take a long time.

Fabian went to join his father and Bernando. He gave
him the reports tht he had prepared. Fabian said he
need Bernando in this project. He cautiosly eyed his
father who was so quiet.

Diego entered Elena/Paloma's office and called her
name, Paloma. She looked tired of wht was happening.
She said she thought tht he was busy celebrating his
anniversary. He asked wht was she doing there and who
is elena Olivares. She said it's her name and she was
there by coincidence. He didn't believe tht. He asked
why did she left the hacienda without telling him. She
said she has nothing to say because he wanted her to
be his mistress. She was angry and starting to talking
loudly. Diego said it wasn't like tht. He was planning
to leave everything and be with her forever. She
didn't believe tht. He said she can't kept avoiding
him. Paloma reminded her tht it's his anniversary and
his wife would be very sad if she was not with her.
Diego called her name again but she told him to call
her Elena Olivares. She went out of the office and he
grabbed her saying tht he never forget her and he
didn't have any feelings for his wife. She told him to
stop using tht same line tht he used 2 years ago. He
said he had been searching for her all over the
country. (She was scanning the area to see if anyone
looking at them) He said he waited at the hacienda
hoping tht she would return. Elena/Paloma said if he
didn't love his wife, why didn't he divorced her.
Diego said he's afraid living alone. She said she
hated a coward. Diego grabbed her and said he won't
lose her again. He said he'll leave everything if tht
wht it takes to get her back. They pulled away when
suddenly Fabian appeared and asked wht took them so
long. She said she had finished with the explaining.

Diego followed her into the office. Fabian asked Diego
wht did he do to Elena? They looked different. FAbian
went to his seat and Elena/Paloma pushed her seat next
to Fabian. She distribute files to FAbian, Juan Carlos
and BErnando, and slapped the last file towards
Diego's stomach. Then she sat and started to explain
about the bank, the payment plan and other stuff.
Fabian asked if Elena and Diego had been cleared about
each others position. Elena/Paloma said yeah, they had
talk about wht they were supposed to talk about.

Juan Francisco commented tht he couldn't see how they
were going to pay back their debts, the interest rates
were quite high. Fabian told him no to worry
everything had been carefully calculated and they will
export more coffee to increase their margin profit.
His father asked if he realised how many coffee they
need to cover all tht? FAbian told Elena to show his
father their last report of New York stock exchange
but Juan Francisco didn't want to see all tht. He knew
he sold lots of coffee but in long term it'll risk
them, their money. He warned Fabian not to be too
confident. Diego looked like a mannequin because he
was staring at Elena/Paloma and didn't even reacted to
the heated coversation between Fabian and Juan
Francisco. Fabian couldn't believe tht his father
never trusted in him. Elena/Paloma was trying not to
look at Deigo. Fabian's yelling made Deigo turn to see
wht's going on. Fabian realise the conversation was
getting personal and told Elena/Paloma to leave him
with his family.

Fabian warned his father tht the office in New York
belong to his father but here, it belonged to him. He
had the right to do wht ever he watned. His father
said he didnt want to see Fabian risk their company.
Fabian said his father just cannot accept the fact tht
he's better than his father. His father was the only
one against him, he prefer his father dead. Juan
Francisco was so angry and punched Fabian's face.
Bernando tried to stop Fabian but it was too late,
Diego tried to grab Juan Francisco to avoid further
fight. FAbian said tht was the 2nd and the last time
Juan Francisco slapped him, after this if it happened
again, he's not his father again. His father said
FAbian hadn't treated him like a father for a long
time. From now onw he wanted to see each bills and
each reports and he look forward to wht will happen
with tht Roaster of him and from now on, he lost his
family support. Diego pulled Juan Francisco out of the
room. Bernando warned FAbian about wht he did but
FAbian said Bernando was just playing along all the
time, he's like a puppet tu Juan Francisco. He wanted
Bernando to choose either his father or his brother.
Bernando chose his father.

Elena/Paloma was on the phone with Fabian, reporting
tht she's done everything he wanted and before hanging
up she asked if his cousin had gone. She smiled when
Fabian said he went home. She later walked out of her
office and there was Diego looking her her.

Diego followed her to the elevator. He wish tht they
can use the stairs together coz they have a lot to
discuss. She said she had nothing more to say after he
lied to her. Diego said he didn't lie. She said she
learnt a lot from his betrayal and she'll never
believe in dreams anymore. He asked wht she wanted him
to do to prove his love. She want nothing, they were
history. Paloma he knew died in Europe because of him.
She told him not to bother her ever again. She entered
the elevator and left him.

Diego went back to the office. He took Paloma's
hankerchief and inhale the smell of it. He looked as
if he was about to cry. He turned away when suddenly
Fabian entered. He said he just want to get his hankerchief.

Fabian told Barbara tht they need to try every option
available to get pregnant again. He's afraid tht Diego
might return to the hacienda in search of the coffee
plantation worker.

Paloma's apartment: Paloma told her mom wht happen and
Soledad think she should have let Diego talk. Paloma
said no use because Diego would never understand, he
just wanted a woman to be with him. He just wanted her
to be in love with him again. And she said her mom
should see how happily in love his wife was and today
was their anniversary. A year ago she was excited to
get back home but he got married and later told her
tht he waited for her. Soledad asked wht else did he
said? Paloma said he wished tht she went back to the
hacienda with the rest of the workers. Soledad had a
flashback of herself and a man, promising to meet each
other in October. Soledad called him 'Lorenzo'. Paloma
asked wht was she thinking. Soledad said there're
other who had the same experience as Paloma's. Paloma
said this was like a telenovela and her mom agreed.

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Diego returned to his
apartment and Berenice was waiting for him. The dinner
table was full of candles. Diego said he got back late
coz there ws a lot to be discussed at the office, they
drank for their marriage. Berenice told him to sit and
have the dinner she prepared with Diana. She hope
their relaltionship will last forever. Diego didn't
say anything.

Paloma's apartment: Paloma and Soledad were sleeping.
Paloma suddenly openned her eyes.

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Diego apologize for not
responding to her. Berenice cried and ran to bed.
Diego remembered the last conversation he had with
Paloma. She asked him if he's not in love with his
wife why aren't they divorced.

Paloma's apartment: Paloma closed her eyes and
remembered Diego told her tht will never forget her.
Paloma said to herself tht she can't forget her memory

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Berenice was matching
Deigo's coat with his tie and pulled out a hankerchief
from his coat. Diego said he found it in the car.
Berenice kept checking the handkercief. Diego said he
wanted to wear the same blue coat he wore yesterday.
She left the hankercheif and went to get the coat. She
said she need a housemaid to help her at home. Diego
went to pick up the handerchief and smelt it again. He
said Berenice can have wht she need.

El Cafetalero: FAbian asked Graciela about Elena and
Graciela took the oportunity babble about Elena being
late and Fabian warned her tht she's talking bad
things about the new Assistant Manager. Graciela went
quiet. He asked if there's call for him, she informed
him tht Rafael Perez called him and he'll come at 1
o'clock. He told her to call Diego at home asking when
he'll be finish at Congres.

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Berenice answered the
phone, she didn't know when her husband will get back
coz he'll be going for a coctail party right after the
congress. Graciela asked why wasn't Berenice there
because usually the members bring their wives to the
coctail party. Berenice said she was the one who
didn't want to go. Graciela said starting next week
she'll be Diego's secretary and Berenice can depend on
her if she need anything. Berenice openned the door
for Diana and told Graciela to help her find a housemaid.

Diana warned Berenice not to trust Graciela who liked
to make up stories and almost make Fabian and Barbara
divorced. Berenice said she knew tht Elena won't be
able to distract Diego because he was too deep in
memories of the coffee worker. Diana and asked
Berenice to follow her to a place tht will help her
get pregnant.

El Cafetalero: Elena/Paloma quickly exited the
elevator and went to greet Margarita. She was told tht
Fabian was looking for her. She said she had a hard
time getting a taxi. margarita smiled and said there's
something waiting for her in her office.

Later Rafael Perez arrived asking to meet Fabian. He
offered her a cocolate and thanked her.

Fabian didn't want Elena to keep giving excuses tht
she can't get a taxi. He told her to get to their
agency and choose a car. It's for the company's image.
She'll pay from her salary. Later Graciela came to
inform him tht Perez had arrived. Fabian reminded her
to go the agency and she thought he was not serious
the first time they talked about tht. She thanked him and left.

Perez reported tht everythong gone as he wanted it to be.

Elena/Paloma entered her office and saw a huge buquet
of flower with a note saying tht 'I will never forget
you'. The note was not signed but she knew very well
who was it. Margarita praised the flowers.
Elena/Paloma asked if she liked it and gave the
flowers to her. She closed the door and ripped the
note into pieces. Her whole badoy was shaking in anger.

Fabian informed Perez tht starting next week Diego
will take his place and Elena will his assistant.
He'll observe the stock market from Miami, he'll
require Perez's help during tht time. Diego didn't
know much about the business. Perez asked wht kind of
help does he require. He wanted Perez to handle
everything as planned and achieve the target. Perez
said he knew a fast way for Fabian to get wht he
wanted. He said he can get coffee for him no matter
how much he wanted. Fabian will need to make a fake
delivery and Perez will make sure everyone believe tht
it was true. Fabian smiled.

Margarite put the flower next to her desk and Diego
arrived. He asked if the flowers were hers. She told
him tht Elena gave them to her. He asked if Elena was
in her room.

Berenice went to a clinic and met a doctor. She said
she and her husband couldn't have a child so they
wanted to try artificial insemenation. The doctor said
she and her husband will need to undergo some checkups
before artificial insemenation can be done.

Deigo went to see Paloma. He said he saw the flowers
he sent at the receptionist table. Paloma said it was
from a coward who didn't have the guts to write his
name on the note. She wish he won't botherher again.
Diego asked if she didn't have any feeling for him anymore?

FAbian knew Perez idea was too risky and they'll be in
trouble if they're exposed. Perez said tht'll be his
job to make sure tht will not happen. Fabian won't be
related to the transaction because Elena and Diego
will be in charged of the export. Fabian smiled.

Diego pulled Paloma into his arms and said there's no
way she was there by coincidence. She knew tht sooner
or later they will bump into each other. Paloma pulled
away n said he was wrong, she had always dreamt to
work with this company and forget her past. Diego
grabbed her again and said she was lying, and she
never forgotten him.

She warned him not to touch her again. If there going
to work together, she wanted him to act profesional.
She hope he'll respect her as Assistant Manager just
as she respected him. Later he was grabbing her again
and said he accepted the position because of her. She
yelled back at him and remind him to respect her. She
decided tht if he can't do tht, it'll be better if she
resign. Diego wanted to hear she say tht she has
forgotten him. She gave up in believing in dreams and
they both were not Prince charming and Cinderella
because she didn't love him anymore. She pulled out
her watch and gave it to him.
