Cuando Seas Mia 27th episode

El Cafetalero: Fabian insisted tht firing Latore would
be the best decision they ever made and Perez will
replace Perez. Diego left in anger. Fabian reminded
Elena tht from now on, she will not follow
instructions from Latore.

Diego went to get Latore who was already waiting for
the elevator. Jorge Latore believe tht Fabian was
doing somekind of doubtful business with Perez but he
didn't know wht was it. He didn't like Perez who
always smiled, he reminded Diego to becareful.

Perez went to see his new office. He said he liked the
company and hope his salary will be fixed. Fabian said
he'll get his commission. He liked the way Perez
handled things especially with the coffee for Julian Mendez.

Hacienda Casablanca: Josefina was on the phone with
Berenice. She confirmed tht the cofee workers refused
to work until the get to speak to Diego. (Leonor was
watching her). She confirmed tht Paloma was no where
to be seen. She even checked with Isobel (the woman
who help Berenice get her medically treated meat) from
town. She said if Paloma really returned, there will
no job for her because they already took enough worker
and other haciendas were also full. Berenice still
wanted Josefina to keep observing wht's happening.
Josefina said she can trust her.

Josefina asked if she's going to return to the
hacienda with Diego, she hadn't make her decision.
(Aurelio approached Josefina and started to kiss her
shoulder). Berenice asked if Josefina wanted to work
at her house in Mexico City. Josefina refused because
she had a better 'offer' back at the hacienda. (Leonor
was surprised to see her husband and Josefina). Leonor
came out of her hiding place and screamed at the couple.

Leonor launched an attack towards Josefina but Aurelio
stopped her. Josefina said it's about time tht she
knew Aurelio had an affair. She manage to break from
Aurelio's grasp and grabbed Josefina. Josefina pushed
her to the couch saying tht Aurelio was the one who
begged to be with her. Leonor ready to attack again
and Aurelio caught her. Josefina warned her tht if she
touched her again, her whole life will be miserable.
Aurelio told Josefina to go away. Leonor realised now
why Aurelio didn't want her anymore. She felt stupid
and decided to pack her things and leave the hacienda.
Aurelio begged her not to do so. She pushed him away
and would never trust him ever again. She hated
herself for believing him.

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Barbara came to join
Berenice and Diana. She wanted to go to the salon.
Berenice said she won't be going to the coctail party,
Diana added tht she had a fight with Diego. Barbara
said this will be Berenice's oportunity to be known as
Diego's wife. She still refused to join them and
prefer to stay home.

Margarita went to see Elena/Paloma but she had to go
back for her driving class. Margarita didn't know she
had a car. Elena/Paloma said it was not new but it
could move. They smiled. Margarita told her tht Diego
had been asking questions about her. She wonder wht
kind of questions Diego asked. Margarita said he was
wondering if she had many admirers. Elena/Paloma asked
Margarita to keep tht a secret because she didn't
other to start gossiping. Then Diego came to speak to
Elena but later he was pulled away by Fabian who
wanted to talk to him in his office.

FAbian wanted to talk about Rafael. He said Rafael
proved tht he's an efficient worker in a month. He's
more reliable than Latore. He wanted Diego to let
Rafael Perez do his work. Latore was not fit to work
there anymore because he was not supporting Fabian's
project. Diego wonder how Fabian going to face Dona
Inez after this. Diego wanted to get back to the
Congres and FAbian wanted to go and get Barbara coz
they're going to the coctail party. Diego said
Berenice didn't want to go. Fabian was jelous. Diego
asked if Elena would be there, FAbian informed tht
Roberto Allemaneda invited her, she had to come. He
added tht since he introduced her to those involved in
the business, she became an important guest in every
party. FAbian admitted tht he received phonecalls
asking if she already had a boyfriend. Diego seriously
asked "Does she already has a boyfriend?" Fabian was
surprised and said, "Not you too Diego." Diego said it
wasn't the way he think, he was just wondering wht
kind of man would be Elena's boyfriend. Fabian
believed tht she had a boyfriend but she was so
secretive about it.

Diego was so angry when he exited Fabian's office, he
punched Graciela's desk making her stood up in surprise.

Outside Paloma's apartment: Paloma drove back to her
house with a driving teacher next to her. She yelled
at a driver who blocked the entrance to her apartment.
The teacher quickly ran out of the car. He said he
can't continue and suggested they used the driving
school's car because it's safer and protected. Paloma
said she didn't want to drive his car, she wanted to
drive her car because she had to attend an important
party tht evening. Tht man said she better get another
teacher, and then he ran away as if he's in a 100
meter race. Soledad agreed with the teacher, Paloma
was not ready to drive.

Diego was already at the coctail party.

Paloma's apartment: Paloma was getting ready, putting
on lipstick. She told her mom wht Fabian did to
Latore. FAbian even asked Latore to leave the envelope
given by Don Lorenzo before he died but Latore refused
to give it because he's still the family's lawyer.
Soledad said no one will know wht really go on in tht
family. Later she showed Paloma the dress tht she
would be wearing, she said Paloma will look like a
model. Paloma said she was praising her because she's
her mother. Soledad believed tht Diego will be
stunned. Paloma said she agreed to go because
Allevaneda and she need to speak to Julian Mendez.
Soledad said she's not a fool, since Diego was in the
office, she had taken longer time to get ready for
work; putting on make up and styling her hair. The
flowers did impress her.

Soledad couldn't believe tht Paloma's childhood dream
was becoming true, dressing up for a party and dance.
They remembered a foreign movie they saw tht they
didn't understand a word of it but they were crying
watching the sad movie, "The last waltz". Soledad was
happy with wht they have now. Paloma said now Diego
had his own life and wanted her mom to stop pushing
her towards Diego. Soledad said maybe Diego was
telling the truth, maybe he's still in love with her,
he got married because he was angry with her. If does
love his wife, why he still didn't have a son with his
wife? Paloma heard the taxi arrived, she told her mom
to stop talking.

Paloma changed her mind, she paid the taxi driver and
decided to take her car to the party. She entered her
car and played her favourite music.

Diego was walking around and greeted Barbara and
Fabian. Dona Ines and Diana was also there. Diana went
to talk to Diego. She said he should have brought
Berenice and accept her suggestion about geting a
baby. It could be a solution for their family. He
wanted her to leave him alone. Diana wonder who
deserve to have his baby. Diego saw Elena/Paloma
entered, he told Diana tht he wasn't ready to have baby.

Elena/Paloma greeted Dona Ines, Fabian and Barbara.
Dona Ines praised her beauty and Barbara was looking
away. Diego went to join them but Allevaneda pulled
him away coz he had something to discuss.

Elena/Paloma was so happy to see Julian there with his
wife. She hugged him and his wife. Julian's wife was
so happy to hear tht Elena/Paloma interested in
working with them. She thanked them and hugged Julian
again. She seemed so 'manja' la with Julian Mendez.

Diego and Roberto were discussing about his
involvement in the congress and how his coffee workers
felt betrayed when he decided to work at El
Cafetalero. Diego said he made the decision because he
didn't want to betray his own family. And other than
that, he wanted to get back wht he lost (he was
looking at Paloma)

Dona Inez wanted Fabian to apologize to Latore. Fabian
said Latore was not important, he was like apuppet.
Don Inez said Latore had been Lorenzo's advisor.
Fabian said Latore was only disturbing him. Dona Inez
said if he wanted to go on with his project, he must
accept Latore back in the office.FAbian said he didn't
like being forced. He wanted her to prove if he was
not doing great since he took over El CAfetalero. Dona
Inez said Fabian should decide himself wht to do and
told her to think like an adult. Fabian said he won't
let Latore jobless, he'll still receive his payment
and he's still the family's lawyer.

Elena/Paloma left Julian and his wife, Diego came and
grabbed her arm asking who's the man in her life now.
She said since he got married, he lost the rights to
know about her status. She felt betrayed when Diego
offer her to be his mistress. She wanted to take her
back at the hacienda, together again. Berenice's voice
broke the tension. Berenice said she can't leave Diego
alon. Elena/ Paloma excused herself.

Berenice and Diego joined Paloma/Elena and Allevaneda
with some other businessmen. Allevaneda said Deigo and
Elena will be great pair in the business. Diego
introduced his wife. Paloma tried to smile. Allevaneda
said he thought he heard th she wasn't coming. He
asked about their marriage and children. Berenice said
they planning to get children. Diego excused
themselves and pulled Berenice away from the group.

He warned Berenice never to talk about tht in front of
his friends. Berenice wondered if she's a disgrace to
him. He didn't want people to know about their married
life. Diego was starting to talk louder and Berenice
went away from him to get Barbara. Barbara glad tht
Berenice decided to come because Diego was so alone at
the party. Berenice said no he wasn't he was with
Elena Olivares, they were having an argument. Barbara
said Berenice was so lucky and blessed. But if she's
Berenice, she'll be very careful with Elena. Berenice
commented Elena's dress. Barbara gave her 2 advices,
1st, use Graciela, she'll be a good friend. 2nd make
Elena realise tht she is diego's wife. Fabian
approached them, he wonder wht were they discussing.

Fabian said this will be the last week he'll be there.
Berenice told them tht the coffee girl didn't return
to the hacienda this harvesting season. Fabian eyed
Berenice and said tht's good coz they'll be together
for a longer time.

Elena/Paloma went to talk to Julian and his wife,
Maria Eugenia. They planned to have dinner at an
Italian restaurant. Diego was so jelous to see
Elena/Paloma was so close with Julian. He went to them
and started to yell at Julian and Elena. He said they
were both betraying him. Julian said if working for
him will bring her trouble.. elena said she prefer
working with him than stay with her current job, she
made Diego quiet when she introduced Maria Eugenia,
Julian's wife, to Deigo. Elena/Paloma apologized coz
she had to cancel dinner because she wasn't feeling
well already. SHe left and Diego tried to apologize to
Julian by saying he was drunk. Julian and Maria
Eugenia seemed angry, they left and ignored him.

The rest of the guests were quiet observing wht was happening.

Diana went to speak to Diego while Dona Ines told
Berenice to try solve her problems with Diego and stop
acting like kids.

Elena/Paloma was outside waiting for her car.

Diana and Berenice told Diego to stop acting like a
fool. Diego said he had been a fool for a long time.
Diana decided to follow Bernice and Diego home, she
didn't want anything bad to happen.

Paloma/Elena ot into her car and drove away.

Berenice wanted to drive but Diego said he still can drive.

Elena's car broke down and she had to stop by the
road. She saw a car coming and prayed tht it's not who
she think it is. Well, it was Diego. He stopped his
car and went to check her car. He turned the key and
the engine roared and worked. She said had just learnt
how to drive. She tried to make him go but he said tht
area was dangerous. She said Diego is more dangerous.
She wanted to go home by taxi. He doubt tht the car
will be there next day. Diana came to see wht happen
and agree with Deigo tht she must let them send her
home. She isnsited to take a taxi. Diego suggested tht
Berenice and Diana follow from behind while he drive
Elena's car. Diana agreed, she went back into his car.

Elena/Paloma told Diego tht she prefer to be in an
ambulance than be in a car with him. He threatened tht
if she refused, he'll make her enter the car.
(Berenice was walking to the driver's side and asked
wht was wrong). Diego said nothing was wrong.
Elena/Paloma went to slam shut the hood while Diego
get into the driver's seat. She quietly sat on the
passenger's side.

The moment the car move, they started to have another
argument. She wanted him to stop ruining her life with
wht he did at the coctail party. He said he was there
because of her. She wondered if he wanted everyone to
know tht she was only a coffee worker who slept with
him 2 years ago. She told him to stop and let her
drive her car. Diego said tht's not her car because
she hadn't finish paying for it yet, she said "Fine,
you take it." she still wanted to get out of the car.
He pulled her arm and asked if she wanted to create
another scandal after wht happen at the party. Diego
said he still love her. She went quiet and looked at
him. Later they stopped at a traffic light, they were
locking eyes. Elena/Paloma looked away when Berenice
pulled up right next to them. Berenice craned her neck
to see wht's happening in Elena's car. Diego sped away
as soon as the light turned green.

Outside Paloma's apartment: Diego parked the car, he
said he already told him wht he wanted her to know.
They were way quiet than before.

Diana wondered wht would happen if Elena was alone
just now. Berenice realised tht Diana liked Elena.
Berenice admitted tht she didn't quite like Elena and
she didn't know why. But she's not as dangerous as Paloma.

He was thinking tht now things turned out this way,
they were quite lucky tht they didn't meet on 17th
October 2 years ago. If they do meet, she won't be
here today. She agreed. She went out of the car and
said she'll end her resignation on Monday. He told her
to give it to Fabian because tomorrow, he'll be going
back to the hacienda and this time it'll be forever.
They looked at each other but the silence were
interrupted by a honking car (must be BErenice). Diego
said her nightmare will be over now, she must go on
with her life coz they will never meet again. He was
impressed on how she changed her life. Berenice was
honking the horn again. He told her to take care.
Paloma tried not to cry.

Outside Paloma's apartment: Paloma told Diego tht his
wife and sister were waiting for him. He was glad tht
they finally met. She has been his dream and he didn't
want to lie anymore. Now he realise she will never be
his and his dream was over. He ws glad tht she has
made her life changed, her nightmare had ended. He
told her to take care of herself. Held her hand and
put the something into her hand. (Berenice began to
honk the car like crazy). She was quiet and watched
him go away from her

Paloma's apartment: Paloma went into her house and
Soledad asked how was the party. She said it was just
a regular party, but later she broke down and cried.

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Berenice told Deigo to
relax coz he'll travel back to hacienda tomorrow.
Diego ignored tht kept on drinking. She hope he could
forgive her for bringing up the baby idea. Diego
wanted to be left alone. She wanted to share his
problem. He told her not to worry. She realised he's
keeping his distance from her. She's worried because
she loved him and would never leave him (she held his
face in her hand).

Paloma's apartment: Paloma told her mom tht Diego was
being harsh with her, he was too jelous and she heard
he's planning to get a child. Soledad said maybe his
wife ws the only planning to have the child. Paloma
started to pour some tequila. Soledad asked if she
wanted to accept Julian's offer, she said he'll be
returning to the hacienda tomorow and Fabian will
leave for America, she can't just leave. Now she had
to learn to live without him. Soledad doubt tht she
will forget him, maybe it will be worse.

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Diego was crying while
Berenice slept on his lap.

Paloma's apartment: Paloma was crying too while
pouring more tequila. She said, "Good bye Diego."

Casablanca: Diego arrived at the hacienda and Aurelio
welcomed him. Josefina asked if Berenice came with
him? He said she'll be staying at the city and he's
back for good. Aurelio went to gather the workers.

Barbara/Fabian's apartment: Berenice went to see
Barbara and Fabian. She told Barbara tht Diego didn't
want her to follow him back to the hacienda. Fabian
glad to see her there and kissed her cheek. FAbian was
leaving and said they didn't have to wait him for
lunch. Before leaving he kissed his wife and then he
kissed Berenice.

Berenice said Barbara must be happy coz she'll be
living in Miami. Berenice didn't quite like Miami but
she had to follow Fabian and wanted to get treatment
there to help her get pregnant again. Berenice said
she hope she can get Diego to agree do an artificial
insemenation.

Paloma's apartment: Paloma/Elena was on the phone with
Dona Ines. She said she can come anytime. Later she
told her mom tht Dona Ines wanted her to be at her
house for a cup of tea. She didn't know why. Soledad
said Paloma was acting like a rich girl.

Bernando's house: Fabian went to find Bernando (he was
living with another guy). FAbian commented tht his
assistant looked jelous and hope Bernando explained
tht he is his brother. Bernando asked wht made he
come? He said he need his support in wht he's doing
and he'll keep Bernando's secret. Bernando said El
Cafetalero will be in deep debts. Fabian said he need
a false document to give to the bank. He wanted every
ransaction seemed normal. Bernando was not willing to
take risk, it'll only save Fabian not El Cafetalero.
Fabian said it's time for Bernando to have larger
dreams, buildng an empire and join with him. Bernando
still refuse. Fabian warned him to think wisely (he
slapped Bernando's head).

Casablanca: Aurelio came to tell Diego tht nothing
works with the workers. They were getting drunk and
dangerous. They still demand higher pay. Aurelio said
it's wierd tht Diego didn't ask anything about Paloma.
Diego said he's finished with Paloma and wanted him to
burn down her cabin.

Dona Ines' house: Paloma/Elena went to meet Dona Ines
who welcomed her warmly. Elena/Paloma praise her
collection of framed pictures. Juan Francisco was thre
too. They wanted to discuss wht going on in El
Cafetalero. She wondered if they want to talk about
Latore. He wanted to know if they can trust her. Dona
Inez said they were worried about Fabian leaving. He
made everything went smooth when he was handling El
Cafetalero. They doubt tht Diego can do the same
because he has been acting wierd lately. Juan
Francisco said, since Latore is gone, elena was the
only one they can trust.

Casablanca: Diego went to meet the workers and wanted
to join them drinking. One of the worker said they
knew he can pay them more for their work. Diego said
his hacienda paid the highest in the country and if he
paid more he'll be in great loss. If they still
refused to work, he didn't care, he'll lose the
hacienda and everything and so would the workers,
they'll lose one of their money source. Tody they'll
see him fall. The worker said Diego was just
pretending. Diego told Aurelio to go get some petrol,
he wanted to burn down the plantation. he said we will
celebrate the fall of hacienda casablanca.

Aurelio and Carlos think Diego had went crazy and
Josefina can't get Berenice on the phone. They decide
to call Dona Ines and Carlos went to the police
station to report wht hapening.

Dona Ines' house: Elena/Paloma accidently addressed
Diego by his first name and dona Ines said it's fine
for her to call him by his first name. Juan Francisco
said Diego can't be Manager all by himself, in other
words, Elena is the real Manager. Later the housemaid
came to tell Dona Ines there's a phone call for her.
She told Juan Francisco to get answer on her behalf.

Dona Ines told Elena about how hard they tried to make
Diego agree to accept the position because he refused
to leave the hacienda. Now it's up to Elena to make
Diego stay at the company. dona Ines asked if she can trust her.

Juan Francisco returned to them with the phone. He
said Diego went crazy.

Hacienda Casablanca: Diego was pouring petrol on the
coffee tree. He wanted to start the fire, Aurelio
tried to stop him but he pushed him away. The worker
said Diego was just trying to make them nervous. Diego
said the hacienda was his life, the workers' life too.
The worker said Diego was just interested in getting
more money and slept with coffee girl. Diego grabbed
his throat and yelled tht he loved tht girl and told
him to stop talking bad things about Paloma. Tht
worker dared Deigo to fight with him. Diego agreed and
said if he won, he'll get his raise. They began to
unbutton their shirts. Aurelio warned Diego tht man
was very dangerous. They began to fight and the
workers cheered when Diego got kicked in the stomach
and fell. Aurelio told Poncho to stop.

Dona Ines house: Juan Francisco told them tht Diego
was fighting with a coffee worker. Dona Ines and
Elena/Paloma were worried. She said they should not fight.

hacienda: Diego and Poncho were still fighting,
observed eagerly by the workers. Diego was punched
over and over again.

Dona Ines' house: Dona Ines wanted the phone.

hacienda: Poncho told Diego tht he lost. Deigo wanted
Poncho to hit him some more. He's willing to pay him
twice. Instead, Aurelio punched Diego hard until he
passed out. He can't let Diego risk the hacienda. He
carried Diego back to the house.

Dona Ines was later on the phone with Diego. She asked
wht was he doing fighting with a worker? Diego said he
won't be coming back to the city, he'll be staying at
the hacienda. Dona Ines wanted to go and talk to him
tomorrow. He said tomorrow his answer will be the
same. Then he hang up. Dona Ines told Juan Francisco
to find a psychatrist for Diego. Elena/Paloma was
concerned and asked if he was hurt. Dona Ines said
Diego had a rough fight with a worker. Dona Ines said
it's about time tht he got beaten. Elena/Paloma said
she should be going and agreed to help Dona Ines. She
kissed Dona Ines goodbye. Juan Francisco was thankful
too, now they need her more than ever.

Barbara/Fabian's house: Barbara told ANgela about
Berenice's plan to undergo artificial insemination and
Diana was the one who suggested the idea and brought
her to see the doctor. Angela said sooner or later
they will have to use tht option. Barbara worried wht
Fabian would think. Angela told her not to worry coz
her treatment in Houston will succeed. SHe was just
worried wht if Berenice got pregnant and she didn't.
Her marriage will crumble.

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Fabian went to meet
Berenice. He said she made the right move not
following Diego going back to the hacienda. He tried
to kissed her but she turned away and asked wht he
meant by tht. He grabbed her again and kissed her
neck. She pulled away again and moved to the other
side of the room. She said he misunderstood her.
Fabian said he knew her weakness. He asked why didn't
she insist to go back with Diego? Why did she went
looking for him. He was kissing her again.

Hacienda: Diego called for Aurelio. He asked for the
van's key. Aurelio told him to relax, he was lucky to
be alive. He had to punch Diego for his own good. He
apologize. Diego said it was fine, he asked for the
van's key again. Aurelio gave him the key. Then Deigo
asked where's Leonor, Aurelio said she left and they
broke up. Before going out, he punched Aurelio and
said tht was because wht he did to him. He gave
Aurelio the ice.

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Berenice was very 'busy'
with Fabian when the phone rang. Fabian told her to
pick it up. It was Dona Ines asking if she heard
anything from Diego. She told Berenice wht happened
and Diego didn't want to work at the company and
wanted to stay at the hacienda. Berenice promise to
try to talk to Diego. Later she told Fabian wht
happened and tht Diego decided to stay at the hacienda
and quit working at El Cafetalero. Fabian was
surprised and said he can't do this. Berenice elieve
tht Paloma had already returned to the hacienda. She
was angry and began dialing the phone.

Don Manuel's hacienda: Don Manuel was drunk and told
Matilde to attend to him. Jeremy left to meet Diego.
Don Manuel pulled Matilde to his bed and began kissing
her. She seemed very scared.

Jeremy guessed tht Diego was there to ask about
Paloma. Diego said he found her but he wish he didn't
find her. She was different. Paloma doesn't exist anymore.

Restaurant: Paloma called her mom. Her was trembling
when she told Soledad tht Diego was beaten. She wanted
to help if she can't. She didn't understand why he did
tht. She said she's out with Margarita and she will
late. Margarita will send her back. Later she hang up.

Margarita told her tht the place was great.
Elena/Paloma said she need Margarita to keep her
company. She began to pour some tequila.

Don Manuel's Hacienda: Jeremy now knew tht Paloma was
now elena Olivares. The Paloma he knew was replaced by
a wise executive surrounded by men. He was sure tht
she already had another man in her life. He lost her
forever. Jeremy asked if he's sure he's not going to
try to got her back. He said he won't get Paloma back,
it'll be another woman who refused to admit her true
feelings. Everything was over, he had a wife he didn't
love and it's not fair for him to treat her tht way.
His search was over and he'll forget Paloma. Jeremy
asked wht will he do next. He said he'll grant
Berenice's wish to have a baby. Jeremy shook his head.

Don Manuel's hacienda: Diego said everything is over.
He didn't love Berenice but he will grant her wish.
His search for Paloma now over. Berenice wanted a baby
so he'll grant her wish to make her happy. They'll
undergo artificial insemenation. Jeremy didn't agree
Diego doing tht. DIego felt as if he owed Berenice.
Diego told him to stop thinking for him. Jeremy said
it would be a great mistake.

Fabian's/Barbara's apartment: Fabian was angry and
babbling about Diego quitting. Barbara wonder if it's
true tht the coffee worker retruned to the hacienda.
Fabian said nobody can find Diego at the moment.
Fabian kept calling Diego stupid. Barbara tried to
make him relax. Fabian said today has been bad, just
wanted to take a bath and sleep.

hacienda: Diego was back at the hacienda. He dialed
Paloma's number, but Soledad picked it up. Diego said
he need to talk to Paloma but Paloma was out, he hang
up. He wonder who she went out with. He threw away the phone.

Paloma's apartment: Paloma returned and asked why
wasn't Soledad asleep. Her mom told her tht Diego
called. She seemed a little surprised. She said Diego
shouldn't have come to Mexico, if not they weren't be
meeting each other. Soledad think Diego needed her.
Paloma needer him too, they were both suffering.

hacienda: Diego was asleep, the corner of his lip was
still bruised. Aurelio woke him up saying tht Paloma
had returned. Then wind blew into the room and Paloma
stood at the door wearing white dress, smiling holding

forever. He hugged her and lifted her. Later Diego was
awaken by Aurelio saying tht he got a phone call. He
said "Paloma".

Paloma's apartment: Paloma was dreaming too, she said
Diego's name. She told her mom she had a dream tht
almost seemd real.

Diego's/Berenice's apartment: Berenice was on the
phone with Diego. She was angry and wanted to know if
their marriage ended. Deigo said she had to pack up
and return to the hacienda. Berenice was talking
louder and louder. She wanted him to return for the
sake of his family. Fabian took the phone and said he
played with his own family's emotion. Diego said they
had Elena Olivares and they won't be needing him at
the office. Diego angrily hang up.

Fabian said Diego returned to his old decision. He
said Berenice should get ready to get back to her
beloved husband.

Paloma's apartment: Soledad was crying and told Paloma
to give her some tissue. She watching a sad ending
telenovela. Paloma felt the sadness too.

Outside/restaurant: Diego said it wasn't a dream, they
held her hands and kissed her lips, everything was
real. Jeremy asked if he wanted to return to the city
and meet Paloma. Jeremy believe Diego won't be able to
live without Paloma. He can't expect her to wait for
him forever. Diego was the one for her. He told Diego
to try make Paloma fall in love with him again. Don't
push her but make her fall in love with him. Later
Juacho's merry voice broke the silence. jeremy hugged
him. He said his life is like being in heaven. Diego
told him tht he was living in the city tht why he
wasn't around. Juancho said he had found Paloma. Diego
adn Jeremy laughed. Juancho said they were witing for
Diego to returned. Diego and jeremy laughed more.

Dona Ines' apartment: Dona Ines asked if Bernando
coming. Juan Francisco suggested tht Fabian delayed
his flight to America. Fabian said Elena will be able
to do everythign. Dona Ines warned them not to begin
another argument. Juan Francisco wanted to see the
reports tomorrow. If it's not satisfactory, Fabian
will have a lot explanation to do. Angela warned them
not to argue. Dona Ines returned to the table with a
smiled. She announced tht Diego agreed to return.
Angela wanted to call bernando making sure he's
coming. Fabian wanted to speak to his mom. Berenice
was going back. She kissed Barbara goodbye and then
Fabian said he hadn't had the time to wish her good
bye properly. Berenice said he'll be going tomorrow,
they'll have lots of time.

hacienda: Jeremy and Diego hugged goodbye. Diego
warned him to keep a secret. He told Aurelio to call
him at the city if anything went wrong.

Dona Ines' apartment: Angela told Fabian to explain
about the fake export. he said he was desprated and
needed his mom's help. He want ANgela to talk to
Bernando make him help him. Angela didn't agree coz
she didn't know how to tell his own brother to do
something illegal as this. He sowre tht nobody kenw
about this. He said if people started asking question,
it'll be on diego and elena. Angela said she didn't
support him on this, she wonder wht Juan Francisco
would said. Fabian said no one knew only him, the
custom officer, Bernando and now his mom.

Juan Franciso entered asking if they can go back. Juan
Francisco hope nothing bad is going on his back.

Don manuel's hacienda: Jeremy returned to see Matilde
who was crying. He pulled out a gun, he wantd to kill
Don Manuel. Matilde said it would be a mistake. and
begged him not todo tht.

Diego's/Berenice's apartment: Diego returned and
Berenice greeted him. He was too tired to eat, he just
wanted to sleep. He kissed her and went to bed.

Bernando's house: Angela and Fabian came to see
Bernando. They told him tht they were worried tht he
didn't turned up during dinner. He said he already
told them he won't becoming. Bernando told his mom to
take off her shoes. Bernando guessed tht Angela was
there for Fabian. He wrned them tht faking a document
is dangerous. They were going against Diego and Elena.
Fabian said they won't realise wht they'll be signing.
Perez will handled everything. Bernando won't have to
sign anyting. Bernando was too worried about Diego.
Fabian said they had to defend each other. Angela told
him to make a choice; Diego and Elena or Fabian.

Outside/in Fabian's car: Fabian told his mom not to
worry. Even Barbara won't knew anything. Angela said
she was more worried about Barbara because she didn't
belive tht hismarriage with Barbara will last. Barbara
can't be pregnant anymore. Berenice and Diego decided
to do artificial insemintaion, if Berenice pregnant
before Barbara, they'll be in danger and one day the
coffee factory will belong to Diego's sons. Fabian
said he'll bring Barbara to the best medical centre to
get her pregnant. Angela said if she's not pregnant,
he must do wht he must do. Fabian nodded.

Paloma's aparment: Paloma was studying some graphes.
There will be ameeting later because of wht Diego did
and she had to attend tht meeting instead of him.
Soledad said maybe it's her oportunity to become
manager. Later Paloma was crying. Soledad hugged her
and wanted to know wht's the matter. Paloma said she
didn't want to cry. Soledad knew wht she felt and told
her to cry out wht ever she felt hoping memory of
Diego will diminsh.

Diego/Berenice's office: Diego was in pain when
Berenice tried to clean his bruise. Berenice said
maybe he need a psichatarist help. His actions were
crazy. Diego said sometimes he just wanted to prove he
is the haciend's owner and to settle the promblems
there. Now he retrun to resume his responsibiity at El Cafetalero.

Juan Francisco's office: Juan Francisco said Fabian
was becoming an outsider and it scared him, he seemed
like womone not from the family. Now Fabian has full
power in the company. He wonder where Fabian would
lead the company too. He told Angela to leave her
mother's instict and tried speacking objectively. Does
she feel tht Fabian is not endangering the family?
Will Fabian lead them to a serious prblem. Angela said
she rather be in a middle of danger to avoid Fabian
being hurt.

el Cafetalero: Paloma/elena arrived and welcomed by
Margarita. She said Elena's eyes seemed swollen.
margarita sadly said no flowers to day. Elena said
there won't be any flowers anymore.

She went to Fabian's office. Graciela asked if she
could help. Elena told her to make coffee and get out
of wht she's going to do. She was stunned when she
entered and saw Diego. Diego dismissed Graciela. He
approached her and said he's back to win back her
heart. Elena/Paloma exited the room, she looked happy.
Graciela was looking at her.

Elena's office: Elena/Paloma called her mom and said
Diego had returned. She was smiling happying conveying
the news. Later Perez came to wish her good morning.
He gave her a chocolate and praised her beauty.
Elena/Paloma asked about the coffee for Julian Mendez.
He told her not to worry coz he'll handle everything.
She was a little curious to see him saying tht.

Graciela saw Perez coming. She quickly dabbed some
perfume on her and pretended to be on the phone. Perez
came and kissed her neck. He gave her a chocolate and
they held hand. He insisted she call him Rafael.

Perez went to see Diego. Diego said he wanted to study
the work plan with Perez. He told Graciela to enter.

Elena's office: Later a man arrived with a huge
bouquet of flower. She read the note saying tht he had
to choose between death or her. Later Graciela came
and said Diego told her to come and discuss their work
plan. Elena told her to knock before entering and
thanked her. She smelled the sweet rose.

Juan Francisco wish Fabian all the best and said
Fabian can trust him. They hugged. He will supoprt
FAbian and told him not to let him down. Angela
promised to always visit him at Miami. Juan Francis
bid goodbye to Barbara too. Later he went away with his dad.

Barbara thanked ANgela. She believe tht her marriage
was stronger now.

El cafetalero: Perez left the office and Elena quickly
gather her papers but Diego stopped her. She sat back
in her seat. Diego said her eyes were swollen. She
said she didn't have enough sleep. Diego wanted her to
arrange his itinerary and he wanted to know wht she
does too. He wanted to know wht she's doing tonight.
She said he should avoid asking personal questions.
Diego said he just can't stop being jealous. He told
her to update him on wht they were doing. She reported
about the sacks of coffee for Julian Mendez and later
listed some more stuff tht will be done. Diego smiled
and stood very close to her. He was breathing right
next to her neck. She was having trouble talking. She
finally finished the list and slapped the piece of
paper to his face and told him to read himself. He
asked wht he was supposed to do. (He was bending
again, his face was closer than before). She said he
must make a balance sheet each month so tht other
board of dicrectors can study them (she tried to look
at every corner of the office except at him). She said
if he wanted to, she can to tht for him. Graciela
entered without knocking tht made Diego stood up
immediatly like an elastic man. Graciela apologized
and said there're two calls. One from Holland and the
other one from a manager.

Elena/Paloma accept the call and answered the phone
regarding coffee (she was speaking in English). She
said his coffee had been shipped 2 days ago and it'll
arrive in Rottrdam on 15 November, she confirmed the
name of the ship as La Esperanza. Diego smiled
watching her talking. Graciela was gaping watching
Diego who was watching Elena. There was another call
from their factory, Mr Flores, she answered it too.
Flores said 5,000 coffee should have arrive at the
port but nothing arrived. Elena asked if the payment
had been made. She told Flores tht she'll call him
later. Then she was punching another number. Diego was
still quiet watching her handled the call. She made a
call to Lombana, she's always angry when talking to
this man. Diego warned Graciela to knock next time.
Elena was on the phone with Lombana and she was
getting angry asking why hadn't he pay the money for
their factory in Casablanca. later she was standing
and talking loudly, sounding angry. Diego asked for
the phone while she cool down. He told Lombana to hold
on. He asked wht was tht about, Elena said tht guy
always inefficient in his job, like to get people into
trouble making the company lose its perfectness. Diego
put the call on loud speaker. He asked Lombana why
hadn't he made the payment. Lombana said the payment
was not listed in the planned budget. Elena was angry
and wondered wht other excuses he had to give. Lombana
yelled back saying tht he just doing his job. Diego
stopped them and told Lombana to make the payment.
Elena cut off Lombana's word telling him to get it
done by today. She disconnected the call.

Later Perez came with some documents for Deigo to
sign. Diego signed the documents. Elena asked wht was
tht for. He said for shipment to New York. Elena
signed it too. Diego was still smiling. Perez smiled
as usual.

El cafetalero: Elena/Paloma asked wht were those
documents for. Perez said it was for shipment
certificate to deliver Julian Mendez's coffee. She
scribbled her signature. Perez announced tht they had
began their work formally and then he left.

Diego was relieved tht he didn't have to do all tht
alone. Diego looked at her and asked where were they
just now. Elena/Paloma looked away and rolled her
eyes. He knew tht she won't follow him tonight, he
just wanted to know where she will be in case he need
her if there were trouble.

Fabian arrived with Barbara. Perez greeted them, he
tought Fabian was already in Miami. Fabian said he
just wanted to say goodbye to Diego. Perez told him
tht everything had been settled and waved the signed
document. Fabian said he wanted to be updated from
time to time.

Graciela saw them coming towards her. She wished them
safe journey and will surely miss them. The entered
the room. Barbara went to hug Diego while Fabian shook
Elena's hand. Later he went to hug Diego. Fabian said
Diego looked handsome sitting in the Manager's office.
Fabian wanted Elena to help Diego in his work. She
told him not to worry and wished him goodluck. Later
she excused herself and walked out of the room.

Fabian asked how was Diego feeling. Diego said he knew
wht he will do is not easy, but he's determined to get
wht he wanted. Later Fabian and Barbara were heading
towards the door and Berenice entered. She kissed
Barbara and Fabian and later went to greet her
husband. She said she was there because she heard
Barbara and FAbian leaving, so she thought she should
be there to say goodbye. Fabian said she's late and
they were already leaving. Barbara suggested tht they
should come and visit them in Miami. Berenice looked
at Diego. Fabian came to Berenice and hugged her
tightly. She wished tht Barbara's treatment will be a
success. Barbara went to hug Berenice and wish tht her
treatment will be a success too. They finally waved
goodbye and left.

Berenice asked if her being there was distracting,
Diego said no, but he was quite busy at the moment.
She said she'll wait for him at home, she kissed him
and head to the door. She blew a flying kiss before
exiting. (and he didn't catch it, heh)

Elena's office: Berenice went to meet Elena/Paloma at
her office. She said she wanted to talk about her
husband, Diego. Elena offered her coffee but she
refused. She told Elena to remove the flowers because
it's blocking her vision. Elena put them on the
cabinet behind her table. Berenice asked if it's her
birthday. Elena said they were from a friend. Berenice
was sure tht Elena would have many admirers.

Berenice hope wht they will discuss will be their
little secret. Elena said she can trust her. Berenice
said she knew tht Elena had a little problem with
Barbara. Elena said it wasn't a problem, it was just a
misunderstanding. Berenice said she didn't have to
explain because she knew Barbara and hope there will
be no misunderstanding between herself and Elena. She
knew tht Sanchez Zambrano family had put their trust
in Elena. Dona Ines and Fabian were the ones tht like
her the most, so she just wanted to be honest with
her. She assumed tht Elena knew nothing about Diego
and making him accept the job was a hardwork. He loved
his hacienda too much, she felt tht was the reason she
n Diego always fight. She's a city girl, the hacienda
cannot be her life. But she loved Diego too much and
Diego loved her (Elena/Paloma was nodding to each of
her word). Elena/Paloma said "Great." Berenice hope by
staying in the city, her relationship with her husband
will change for the better. Elena said she wish the
same and asked about the baby tht she mentioned during
the coctail party. Berenice said a baby was wht they
really need now, she didn't want to return to the
hacienda. Wht ever at the hacienda, made their
marriage weak. She didn't feel safe there. She wanted
Diego to believe tht the city was the best place for
them. Elena assumed tht his family wanted the same
too. Berenice said 'yes' and they need Elena's help.
She said she's not a jealous type and she won't
tailing her husband everywhere. She knew tht her
husband will spend lots of time with Elena because of
their work. She trusted Diego and asked if she can
trust Elena. Elena said she can trust her. Berenice
hope elena can make Diego stay in the city forever.
Elena said she'll do whtever she can to help.

Diego suddenly opened the door. He thought Berenice
already left. Berenice quickly went to stand next to
him. Elena/Paloma was already jealous, she tried to
cool herself down and drank up a glass of water.
Berenice asked if she had her number because she can
come and visit her at home sometime, she didn't have
many friends in the city, she'll be much alone after
Barbara left. Diego watched how Elena reacted. Elena
just nodded and said yes while trying to swallow the
water she drank. Berenice kissed Diego (Elena looked
away). She heard Berenice said tht she'll wait for him
at home. Berenice said goodbye and thanked her.

Diego wiped the kiss and asked Elena wht they were
discussing. She said nothing. Deigo went to grab her
arm but she pushed him away and told him not to touch
her. He asked again wht was they talking about. She
said it's a secret between her and Berenice. She took
a file and headed for the door but Diego blocked her,
he wanted her to explain first. She went to get the
flowers and said she wanted to throw them away. Diego
yelled if those flowers from someone else, she'll
probably bring them home. Elena/Paloma pushed him
aside and use the flowers to keep his distance. She
exited the room, Diego punched the table and later
went out. He saw her walking towards receptionist table.

Elena/Paloma told Margarita to make sure the flowers
end up in the rubbish bin. Margarita wondered wht was
the problem now. Elena was angry and yelled nothing
was wrong. Margarita asked wht if some more flowers
arrive? Elena wanted her to call the police and arrest
the coward who sent the flowers. Diego walked passed
Margarita and dragged Elena/Paloma with him. He said
he needed to talk to her. Diego told her not to do
anything stupid and asked wht did they talk about just
now. The people around them stood up to see wht's
going on. Diego kept Elena locked in his arms and
walked quite fast.

They almost arrive at Graciela's table when she pulled
away from his grip. She said she's not in the mood to
answer any questions today. She said maybe tomorrow
when her anger gone and she can smile, they can
discuss in peace. Graciela stood up and took off her
glasses to see wht was happening. Elena walked away
and Diego yelled after her. Graciela quickly
approached Diego and said Elena was so rude. Diego
yelled, "NO!" to her face. Graciela jumped, his voice
was definitely louder than Fabian's. He went back to
his room and slammed the door.

Miami: Faban closed Barbara's eyes and showed her
their house. He told her tht the housemaid were from
Mexico and cuba.

Bernando's office: Bernando told his assistant, Juan
Manuel, they hadn't got the Friday's transaction. When
Manuel turned to get it, Bernando said he looked pale,
so he told him to go home early. Later his secretary
told him tht Rafael Perez was there to meet him. After
they were introduced, Bernando told Juan Manuel to
wait outside.

Perez said Fabian told him tht Bernando already knew
about wht they were about to do. He pulled out a file
on two deliveries to New York and handed it to
Bernando. One delivery of 25,000 and the other one for
4500. BErnando asked when will the deliveries arrived
at the port. Perez said they had already arrived, they
only need the shipping certificate. Bernando asked wht
was the actual amount tht will be shipped. Perez said
25,000 for Julian Mendez. Perez said after this for
45,000 in record, they will only ship 1,000. He gave
Bernando the monthly certificate and wanted him to
learn it by heart. There will be 140,000 sacks of
coffee in record but the real amount will only be
30,000. Bernando found tht crazy. Perez told him not
to worry, he'll make sure everything went smoothly.
They will begin will small shipment to avoid
attention. He only had to make sure of 3 things, 1-no
one must know about this, 2-he cannot give direct
orders, 3-do not sign any document. He must select
workers tht he really trust to follow his orders.
Bernando asked who signed the documents, Perez said
his cousin and Miss Olivares. Perez believe non of
them will ask any questions about the documents tht
they signed. Perez excused himself and left.

Juan Manuel entered and asked if there's any problems.
Bernando told him to sit coz he had something to talk about.

El Cafetalero: Deigo was on the phone, he was
cancelling a reservation. Graciela gave him some
invitation cards tht had been sent to him for coctail
party. She informed tht Fabian had been busy with
those types of invitations too. He asked if Miss
Olivares get invitation too. Graciela said yes. Diego
wanted her to make sure tht Elena get invited every
time and he didn't want to go alone on each coctail
party. He insisted tht she write a memo for Miss
Olivares of the list of occasion tht she would be
needed to go with him.

Night..

El Cafetalero: Diego went searching for Elena/Paloma
at her office but the cleaning lady told him tht she
left. He opened her office and flip some papers on her
desk. He saw her personal book and quietly closed the door.

Miami: Micheal Sandol was giving Fabian some
invitations to coctail party tht will also attended by
famous stars. Fabian was interested in getting an
apartment in New York, but Micheal said it's hard to
get one around Park Avenue. Later BArbara came and
Fabian introduced him to his wife. Micheal Sandol was
his PR. Micheal insisted tht Barbara should meet him
tomorrow so tht they can discuss her public image.
Fabian told her to excuse them coz they had a lot to discuss.

Micheal said when Fabian asked for his service, his
duty was heavy loaded, he must make sure Fabian was
the guy deserve to be in the same party with great
stars. Fabian told him tht soon he's export more
coffee from his country.

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Graciela came to visit
Berenice with the new housemaid Rocio. Berenice told
Rocio to go to the back room. She thanked Berenice for
helping. She asked Diego was working. Graciela said
no, but today he received lots of coctail party
invitation. Berenice said Diego was not a partying
kind of guy. She sensed tht Graciela wanted to add
something. Graciela informed tht Diego confirmed his
attendance to each and every party this month because
Elena Olivares will also be in those parties.

Outside Paloma's apartment: Diego was outside of
Paloma's apartment changing his car radio's channel.
Later he drove away.

Palomas' apartment: Paloma told her mom how surprised
she was when Berenice came to see her and told
everything about her marriage. They planned to have
children and Berenice wanted Diego to stay in the
city. Soledad started to compare her story with a
telenovela again. Paloma said Berenice seemed special
and loyal to her husband. She was wondering if she
should be there. Soledad told her not to be stupid,
tht woman was trying to trap her. Paloma said,
Berenice confessed tht she's not the jealous type and
will completely understand if Diego going out with
her. She even offered her friendship. Soledad can't
imagine Paloma being friendly with such a woman.
Paloma said she made a promise, the same promise she
made to Dona Ines; make Diego stay in the city and
stay as Manager of El Cafetalero. She hoped she never
saw him again but after hearing wht Berenice said, she
became confused and hated her so much. Soledad asked
why she didn't let Diego explain, Paloma said from wht
she observed, everyone in the family knew about 'Diego
and Paloma' story and tht's why they wanted him gone
from the hacienda. Soledad said she should had seen
this coming since the first time she started working
at El Cafetalero. Now she can't run and must face the consequence.

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Diego retuned and Berenice
was waiting for him. He didn't know tht she wanted to
wait. Bernice asked where he was, he said he's at the
office. Berenice said she called but he wasn't there.
Diego said he went to get a document at the coffee
committee. Later Rocio came serving something to eat.
Berenice introduce Rocio. She asked about his first
day at work. Deigo asked wht did she talked about with
Elena. He didnt' want her to become Barbara. Berenice
said she just wanted to be friends with Elena. Diego
wondered if it's because she wanted to know his every
move. He was curious why she was pretending to be nice
to Elena because as far as he knew, Berenice and
Barbara hated Elena Olivares. Berenice said tht was
before she met Elena, now tht she met her, she's a
wise woman and she really wanted to be her friend. She
would be happy if she would come joined them for
dinner with her boyfriend or husband. Diego coughed
loudly and drank some water. Diego said he had some
work to do. He stood up to leave, Berenice asked if he
didn't like her being friends with Elena. He wondered
if she's asking for permission. Diego sat again and
Berenice said she was just asking for an opinion.
Diego said he didn't like Elena coming to their house
or going out with her and her **boyfriend**. If she
wanted friends, he suggested she be with Diana.
Berenice said why Diego get to be with tht woman,
Diego said it's because he can bear with her attitude,
and it's because of work. She asked if he's going to
take long time to finish his work coz she wanted to
make sure she'll always there for him and won't leave
him lonely. She kissed him and went to bed.

Diego pulled his briefcase and pulled out the book he
took from Paloma's desk. He was flipping from pages to
pages and stopped at one particular page, he read "You
came back after being a memory. You came back with a
smile, shadow of your love. You are my life and death.
Your're the angel of death for me. I'm falling into
the depth of hell Tortured and here begins my greatest
hell." He flipped to another page. Later he opened
another book and started writing.

Morning...

El Cafetalero: Diego arrived at the office and greeted
by Elena/Paloma's loud voice asking for her diary
back. The receptionist table was empty, he bumped into
Margarita and she didn't had the chance to answer
anything because later Elena/Paloma was out of her
office, yelling for Graciela. She told Graciela not to
play around.

Margarita told Diego tht Elena wanted to fire them if
they didn't find her diary. (Paloma's voice was louder
on the background and kept babbling to Graciela). She
wanted tht person who took it to be arrested. Lombana
said it's about time Diego arrived coz his assistant
had just went crazy. Elena/Paloma demanded for
Hernandez. Diego started to laugh. He approached her
and told her to use the phone instead of yelling.
Elena was catching her breath, she was getting tired
after lots and lots and lots of yelling. She said she
had no time for his stupid jokes and wanted to know
who took her diary. Diego looked seriously at her. He
called Graciela and told her to call the police. He
asked Elena if anyone called for ransom. Elena looked
from Graciela to Diego, confused. The joke made her
stop yelling, she went back to her office and slammed
the door.

Graciela gave Diego the memo tht he told her to write
for Elena. He signed it. Graciela said the bank called
and he can go to the bank to sign a loan for the
hacienda. Diego told her to deliver the memo to Elena.
Graciela asked if she can wait until Elena's tornado
gone, coz it's making the whole building shook. Diego
told her to ask someone else to send it. Later he
asked if she came to his house last night, she said
yes, she brought the housemaid.

Elena's office: The cleaning lady, Carmen, swore tht
she didn't take the diary. Elena/Paloma said she's not
accusing, she just wanted to know if she saw anybody
tht might have took it. Then Carmen remembered tht
after she cleaned Elena's office, Diego entered the
office. Elena nodded knowingly and thanked Carmen.
With anger still boiling, she marched to Diego's
office. (U can almost see the smoke coming out of her ears.)

Graciela politely called her, Senorita Olivares. She
turned and screamed "WHAT?!" Graciela gave her the
memo. Her shoulder went down after reading it. She
shove the paper back into the file and entered Diego's
office. Diego was on the phone with Aurelio, he told
him to come to the city to do something regarding the
bank loan to pay the workers' salary. Elena/Paloma was
not in the mood to wait, she said, "Give it back!" He
didn't pay attention to her and kept the phone stamped
to his ear. This time Elena added the word 'please' to
her request. He told Aurelio to call him when he's in
Mexico city, then he hang up.

He asked if she was saying something just now? She
said she want her diary back. Diego play dumb, "Me?"
She stomped her foot to the floor and said someone saw
him entered her office and when he's gone, the diary
was gone too. She asked for it back. Diego asked how
tht she knew it was him. She said she had a witness.
Diego said so wht? She wanted to fire him? Elena said

have it back. Diego wondered wht made tht diary so
important. She kept asking for the diary back but
Diego said he didn't take it, she can search his
office if she wanted to. He ordered her to stop
threatening to fire their staff because he was the
only one who had the rights to do tht. She was shaking
with anger and waved the paper in her hand, she said
she knew he had the rights and he didn't have the
rights to be involve in her personal life. He said
attending coctail parties was part of her job as
assistant manager. She pressed both her hands to her
head and said tht job was not in her job description
and it's out of her working hour. Diego smiled and
asked if she wanted him to pay her more. Elena said
she's tired taking care of the company coz it's making
her scared. He wondered if she's scared of him. Bingo!
She asked if he had forgotten wht he did in the last
coctail party they were together. She hope he's not
giving an excuse saying tht he was too drunk to
remember. She's tired of his harshness and jealousy.
Diego said wht ever it is, she had to come with him
tonight as his assistant Manager, they had a coctail
party with the delivery company. He didn't know wht
they wanted tht's why he needed her with him. Elena
yelled with angry voice saying tht he's out of line.

Diego yelled back saying tht they must clear things up
between them. He was not looking forward going out
with her either, he had to do the job and she's making
him sick of her attitude. Maybe it's time for him to
find another assistant who didn't make him sick. Perez
poked his head through the door and asked if he's
interrupting. Diego told him to enter.

He gave some papers for him to sign. Diego signed
without checking, and later gave the same paper to
Elena to sign. She was more than ready to put down her
signature as if she's the second contestant for a
"whose-signature-is-better" contest. She signed
without asking anything and tht made Perez a happy
man. Perez left.

Diego said if she's finished, she can go. She wondered
if she was fired, he explained he didn't need her help
for now. He can't fire her because his family and the
company need her. Elena reminded her tht she's just
keeping her words to Dona Ines and his wife to do
whtever she can to help him. She will never quit and
will always try to make him feel sick. She asked wht's
the time for coctail party. He tried not to smile and
said "seven". She went to open the door and then
turned to him again and almost begging for her diary
back, it's important for her. Then she exit the door
with a loud slam. Diego laughed and sat back
comfortably.

Miami: Fabian was on two phones at the same time,
giving orders of buying and selling in the stock
market. One of the call was from Perez telling him tht
everything was going as planned. He said BErnando was
hesitant at first but at last worked well with them.
Julian Mendez coffee will arrive New York soon and his
men were all ready to make the switch. This week they
will send another 20,000 sacks of coffee. Fabian told
him to make the complete report so tht Elena can
submit it to Juan Francisco and he wanted a copy for
himself. Then he hang up and answered another phone.
Barbara came to him trying to talk to him who was
still busy talking on the phone. Barbara said the
plane will be leaving soon, she wondered if he's
sending her to the airport. He told her to get the
driver. She asked if he knew tht she's leaving for the
hospital. Fabian was busy telling two people on the
phone tht the price will go up soon. Barbara asked if
he's going to say good luck to her. He looked up and
said hope everything will go well. Then he was back on
the phone again telling the guys to sell as soon as
possible. He was happy and said "Yes I did it again."

Restaurant: Diego went out with Jorge Latore. He said
Elena was handling the office and Perez was handling
the export, he was just observing everything. Latore
said he must becareful with Rafael. There's a reason
why Fabian replaced him with Rafael Perez. Diego said
Perez was a quiet man. Latore said a quiet man can be
dangerous. Diego thanked him and later gave Latore a
list of the people they're doing business with. He
wanted to know the background of each of them, if
they're single, married, playboy, names of their
secret lovers. He said he just wanted to know the type
of person he's doing business with and he wanted to
know if Elena Olivares had boyfriends. Latore said
she's not on the list, Diego said she's his assistant,
so her information was the most important of all.
Latore said after leaving El Cafetalero, he got lots
of freetime. He started telling about Elena who
started as the receptionist in El Cafetalero and now
look where she is. He never heard anyone being able to
tame her. He believe tht Elena worked in the company
with a mission. She's ambitious and had no fear, she
will be the hidden enemy tht he might have to choose
whether to fire her or lose his job. Diego smiled.

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Aurelio called to talk to
Diego but Berenice answered. He told her tht he
already at the city. Diego told him to call when he
arrived. Aurelio told her to let Diego know. Berenice
said why don't he just come straight to her house,
maybe Diego was already on his way back. Aurelio
agreed and slowly hang up.
