Restaurant: Diego was telling Latore about him being
the one who observe everything while Elena and Perez
do all the job for him. Latore warned Diego about
Perez who might have a hidden agenda with Fabian.
Diego thanked him for his concern. Later he told
Latore his real reason to be there, he wanted to know
everything about those involved in coffee business tht
will have business transaction with him, their
personal stuff such as friends, girlfriends, wife. And
wanted to know every little detail about Elena
Olivares. Latore warned him tht Elena might make
herself too essential to the company coz he sensed tht
Elena had her own agenda, she wanted something. She's
ambitious. He believe tht Elena will be his rival and
one day he might had to decide whether to fire her or
the company will be in trouble.
El Cafetalero.
Diego returned to the office. He went Elena's office.
Paloma/Elena was on the way to her office.
Diego openned his briefcase and pulled out her diary.
Elena/Paloma entered her office and saw him, she
yelled with her thunderous voice asking wht she can do
to help him. He almost jumped out of his skin and
turned. He was caught. He said he was looking for her.
Elena wonder if he's looking for her in between of the
documents on her table. He gave a bitter smile and
stepped backwards slowly. He said he was just
wondering if she's ready to go with him. She said yes
and then Diego exited.
Elena/Paloma quickly searched her table and found the
diary. She smiled.
(ada gangguan la tengok CSM hari ni, the screen went
black after this scene a few seconds, may be 30 to 45 seconds)
Diego went to his office and he asked Graciela about
Aurelio. She said she haven't received any calls
saying tht he'll be at the office. He later told her
to call his wife for him.
Diego/Berenice's apartment: Berenice lit a candle and
told her housemaid Rocio to go to sleep early coz she
didn't need her anymore. Later the phone rang.
Graciela passed the call to Diego. Diego told Berenice
tht he'll be late tonight coz he had a coctail party
with the delivery company. He admitted tht Elena will
be there with him as his guide. She told him not to
explain coz she understands. She just wanted to know
when he'll be coming back. He said around 11 to 12
o'clock, he asked if Aurelio called, she said no.
(Aurelio was there looking at her. He took off his hat
and puffed his cigarette.) Berenice hang up and
Aurelio asked if it was Diego. She didn't answer, just
looking at him.
El Cafetalero: Elena/Paloma was explaining to Diego
the purpose of the coctail party (to promote a new
service). He asked if she knew them, she said yes and
she knew very well who to work with and who to avoid.
She wanted to meet him later at the coctail party but
he wanted her to go with him, in his car. She said
there's a reason why she bought a car, she didn't want
to bother any one else, and she can go home by
herself. Diego didn't want her to leave him alone at
the party. He suggested they go with his car and later
he'll send her back to the office to pick up her car.
Graciela watched them go (she was getting ready to go
back home). Perez greeted her and Perez offered to
send her home. They walked out arm in arm. He said all
she had to do was tell the driver where to go. (Well
they going back in taxi together.. duh..) Perez even
asked her to dinner after learning tht she wasn't married.
Outside/inside car: Diego and Elena were on the way to
the coctail party. Elena was filling him in with
information about the delivery company owned by
Bernando. They used his service to transport coffee to
the gulf, across Pasific Ocean and for domestic
transportation such as from the hacienda. Diego wished
tht he can be at the hacienda forever. He told her tht
he ordered tht when he died, he wanted to be buried at
the hacienda. He told them to make two graves beside
each other. He asked if she wanted to be buried there.
She said no, she prefer to be buried alone so tht
she'll be in peace. Diego said he wanted to relax and
turn on his favourite music. elena/Ploma told him to
stop laying around when she heard tht he played her
tape, her favourite song. Diego told her to relax and
enjoy the music. Elena think he's too much. He said he
just want to cherish things tht made him happy.
Coctail party. They finally arrive and Julian welcomed
them. Elena hugged him warmly. Julian introduced her
to some of the men from transportation companies. One
of them was praising her beauty, making Diego boiling
with jealousy. They guy invited her to his office the
next day. Elena suggested tht he discuss with her boss
(she introduced Diego). She said even a leaf won't
move if they didn't receive his orders. He left with
Julian and let Diego takl to the guys.
Julian asked about his coffee. She sid they'll arrive
in New York by this week. (She looked across the room
and saw Diego looking at her). Julian asked if she
decided about working with him. She said she had a
commitment with Sanchez Sambrano family for the time
being. She hope soon she'll be able to work with him.
Diego was looking at her being so close to Don Julian.
Later a few men join Elena and Julian, they were
laughing. Diego can't stopped himself from marching
towards her, but he was called away by Bernando. He
went to hug his cousin. Bernando asked about his work
and Rafael Perez. Diego said everything was OK, even
if he decided not to go to work, everything will run
perfectly. His duty was attending coctail parties. (He
was looking away from time to time checking on
Elena/Paloma). Bernando introduced him to Juan Manuel.
Later Diego excused himself.
He went to join Elena's crowd. THey were talking about
coffee businessDiego said he prefer to be nown as
coffee planters than coffee exporter. He politely
asked to talk to Elena privately.
He pulled her away and asked if she was having fun.
She said they should have been with Roberto Allevaneda
coz they're making an interesting proposition. Diego
didn't care about the proposition. he asked who's the
man? was he married? was she trying to avoid scandal
and tht's why she's keeping it a secret? (His voice
was getting louder and attracting other to look at
them). He wanted to go away but he pulled her back
continue guessing who was the man. She wondered if
tht's why he stole her diary. Diego just wanted to
know who was the man tht touched her and left a
lifetime mark in her life. She slapped him and said he
didn't have the rights to make those accusations. He
forced her to tell him if the words in her diary was
about him. She said he would be the last person she
would think of while writing her diary. She warned him
to stop searching coz she'll never date someone else's
husband. He pulled her back, calling her name, Paloma.
She reminded him to respect his wife, just like his
wife respected him.
Elena turned to leave becuase she did her work,
introduced him to the transporters. Diego promised
this will never happen again. She's tired hearing his
promises. Diego said he won't pa attention to who she
talked to ever again. He turned to join Bernando who
introduced him to a couple of girls who were impressed
to meet the young manager of El Cafetalero. He said
he's not the big bos, he pointed at Elena and said
tht's the bos, he's just a driver.
Elena angrily called and said she's leaving by taxi.
Diego said she came with so she will go back with him.
He pulled her handbag to avoid her from going. She
threatened to stirr things up if he didn't return her
handbag. She started to yell and said se had just quit
and he will receive her resignation tomorrow. She made
a promise to his wife and she will keep her promise.
He kept his grip firm an dshe tried to pull away. She
swore tht he'll never see her again for the rest of
his life if he didn't let her go. His grip loosened
and she went away.
Diego/Berenice's apartment: Berenice told Aurelio to
leave. She asked if he wanted to leave anythign for
Diego, he said no, he'll deal later with Diego coz he
knwo where to find him. Aurelio left. Berenice began
to shake and started crying.
Paloma/Elena was at a bar. A guy was playing his
guitar. She was singing her song and remembering the
day Aurelio told her tht Diego was married and later
she remembered the day Diego swore to her tht he had
never touched his wife. She continued singing.
Diego/Berenice's apartment: Berenice waited for Diego.
He returned and she asked about the party. He said it
was good. She asked about Elena, he said she went back
early. She told him tht Aurelio came and waited for
him. He went back when it was getting late, he didn't
leave any number or address for him to contact.
Restaurant: Paloma was still singing.
With her voice on the back ground, Berenice was in bed
and Diego went in to lie beside her. She told him not
to touch her.
The people listening to her song clapped and cheered
when she finished singing.
morning...
Elena/Paloma arrived, as usual, she was greeted by
Margarita. Diego hadn't arrive yet. She told Margarita
to meet her later.
Aurelio came to meet Margarita and introduced himself,
he wanted to meet Diego. She asked if he wanted to
wait for Diego or meet Senorita Olivares. He chose to
wait for Diego.
Margarita went to meet Elena who was complaining about
Lombana not being at work. Graciela was too busy with
the phonecalls. Margarita sweetly offered to help. She
told Elena tht a man was waiting to meet Diego. She
turned to look and saw Aurelio. (She made a 'arrrghh'
sound and turned 360 degrees and began to walk away
fast). Margarita asked f she can help anything. Elena
didn't answer, she just kept on walking.
Diego was having breakfast with Berneice. She was not
eating, she told Diego she was not feeling well. Later
he received a call from Dona Ines, who wanted him to
come and see her coz she had something to discuss.
Diego went to get his coat and opened the door. (the
man across their apartment was watching them).
BErenice apologize to Diego and said she really wasn't
feeling good. Diego suggested the she went to see her
parents but she prefered to go with him, so she
suggest they go out for dinner, Diego agreed to make
reservation. Diego greeted the man at the door. The
man greeted Berenice. She quickly said helo and closed the door.
Elena was on the phone when Don Julian arrived looking
all sweaty and pale. He told her tht this was
important. She hang up and let him speak. He asked wht
happen to the coffee she sold to him? His client in
New York refused to accept the cofee because it was
bad quality. Elena find it wierd because the coffee
wasn't suppose to arrive yet. Seh told him to relax.
He was so afraid tht he might lose his 3 mil. client.
Elena began to make calls.
Diego was with Dona Ines and Diana. Dona Ines was
worried about Daniela being alone in Europe. Daniela
was prefer to be in paris coz she had nothing to do in
Mexico. She wanted Diego to help make Daniela returnn.
Diego said they should respect Daniela's decision.
Dona Inez can't relax thinking of her grandchild being
far from home. Deigo agreed to talk to Daniela. Later
the housemaid came and gave Diego the phone, It was
Elena telling him tht it's a bad problem involving the
coffee they sold to Don Julian Mendez. She needed him
to be at the office fast.
Aurelio was tired waiting and asked if it's another
way to get in touch with Diego coz he'll need to get
back to the airport soon. Margarita suggested tht he
talk to Elena, she might know where to find Diego.
Aurelio agreed. She showed him how to get to Elena.
Perez came to Elena's office with the receipt from New
York. He said his agents proved tht the coffee were in
good quality. Don Julian was angry because his client
said the cofee was bad. Perez kept saying ttheir
coffee were good, may be Don Julian's cliend didn't
practice good storage system for the coffee. Don
Julian was still angry and said they can do nothing to
make this right. Perez said they can only help, he
suggest Julian contact his agent in America and maybe
it's their mistake. Perez left. Elena tried to calm
down Don Julian. When Perez open the door Aurelio
wanted to enter. elena quickly cover her voice and
yelled to Perez telling him to shut the door.
Don Julian looked very sad and asked Elena wht should he do?
Aurelio met Diego and he can't leave without the
money. Diego told him to wait in his office.
Bernando's office: Juan Manuel came to tell Bernando
tht there's has been a news in new york saying tht
25,000 coffee they sent to new york for Julian Mendez
client was bad coffee. It had been declared of good
quality but something went wrong. Juan Manuel said
this is very serious because it involve 3 million
dollars. Bernando was getting worried. Bernando said
they had nothing to do with this.
Julian said this was a dirty job. Diego said there's
no such plan to bring him down. Diego showed him the
fax proving tht the coffee they sent was in good
quality. Julian said this wsa wierd, Diego's family
never do anything like this before. Elena stood up and
warned Julian tht Diego had nothing to do with this
transaction. It was handled personally by Fabian and
she was the one who order for the shipping. Julian
said she never thought Elena was willing to take the
blame for something tht she didn't do. She said Diego
had nothing to do with this. Julian asked why did she
put herself on the line to save Diego? Elena said
"Yes". Julian said he'll believe her and hope she will
not be blamed. He warned them to make this things right.
Diego said he felt bad with wht happen to Julian. He
held her hand n thanked her for standing up for him.
She said she didn't expected herself to do tht. She
wanted to investigate about the 25,000 sacks of
coffee, she must do this for her friend's sake. The
coffee was too much to be replaced. They must contact
Fabian to make sure wht to do with this problem.
Miami: Fabian told Diego not to worry. He sympathized
with wht happen to Julian too, but they did their part
in the business so it was not their fault, plus they
have the documents proving their cofee was high
quality. FAbian told Diego not to let emotion involve
in a business, close your eyes when you face danger.
Fabian hang up after checking his computer.
FABIAN: It's either be me or you, Julian.
El Cafetalero: Graciela gave some cheques to Aurelio
to bring back to the hacienda. aurelio told him how
Elena Olivares slammed the door to his face. diego
asked if he sw her? Aurelio said it was enough just to
hear her loud voice. Aurelio later left.
Diego went to see Elena. He told her tht Aurelio
didn't see her face, he was too intimidated by her
voice. Later a delivery guy deliver another bouquet of
flowers to Elena. She looked at Diego and shook her
head. She took the card and read, "Elena...I've
searched for you all over the world. It's hard to find
you. I hope you like this surprise." She reminded
Diego tht he agreed not to send her flowers. Diego
said it wasn't him, he angrily left the room and
slammed the door. She watched him go and smiled.

El Cafetalero: Elena/Paloma smiled after Diego left
her office (when Diego slammed the door shut, the
lower part of the door slammed to his foot, ouch! So
the door didn't make any loud sound tht it supposed to do. heh.)
Coffee Council office: Roberto received a call
regarding wht happened to 25,000 sacks of coffee for
Julian Mendez. He's worried if they received a report,
it would be the end of Julian Mendez. He later told
his secretary to call Julian Mendez and Diego Sanchez Sambrano.
Outside: Julian went to meet Dona Inez hoping for her
support coz no one can give helpful information for
him. Julian said he can't afford to lose, it'll be his
end. He has been in the business for 30 years, he
can't let it go. He said if he had been doing business
with Lorenzo, this will never happen. He suspected tht
Fabian or Diego wanted to trap him. She told him to
becareful with his word coz his accusation was very
serious. Dona Inez promised to talk to her family
about this.
El Cafetalero: Diego was on the phone with Roberto.
Roberto wanted to see the documents about the shipping
and quality checkup. Diego said he was just waiting
for a report from Julian's dealer. Roberto wanted to
see him an Elena. Later Elena/Paloma entered his
office with reports tht showed tht the coffee was of
bad quality and she didn't know how it happened in a
very very short time. He told her tht Roberto heard
the news and wanted to see them, he thought they were
in trouble. Elena said they won't be in trouble
because they had all the documents proving tht they
sent high quality coffee and it was confirmed at the
New York port.
He asked if she's serious about quitting. She wanted
to fulfil her promise to Dona Ines first before
quitting, even though it meant tht she'll have to
throw so many flowers. He apologized and said he
wasn't the one who sent the flowers. Elena said "huh?"
and exit the room.
Perez told Fabian not to worry because they won't be
blame. Soon coffee exporters will come looking for
them to do business. Fabianhad received 3 million
without even trying. Perez told him not to worry about
his cousin and Elena.
Miami: Fabian joined a woman by the pool celebrating
his success. The woman was married too.
Hacienda: Aurelio returned and called for Josefina
(who was with another man, Carlos, the driver). She
heard him and told Carlos to hide. Aurelio openned the
door and Josefina came and said she thought he'll
return later tht night. Aurelio said he was thinking
about her. Aurelio was suspicious and went to the
shower, he saw Carlos n drew a knife. Josefina said
they were only bathing, nothing more. She cried and
said she loved him, she begged for his forgiveness.
Tht man in the shower said Josefina was the one who
made a move on her. Josefina said he was lying.
Aurelio pushed Josefina out and put the knife on
Carlos' throat, ready to slit his tender flesh.
El Cafetalero: Elena bumped into Diego and asked him
if he really didn't sent him the flowers, she wondered
who sent her those flowers. Diego said maybe the man
of her life, which was non of his business.
Diego/Berenice's apartment: Josefina called Berenice
and told her tht Aurelio threw her out of the hacienda
and she had no where to go. Berenice already had a
housemaid but she told Josefina to come anyway and see
wht she can do to help. Later Berenice picked her
purse and went out.
El Cafetalero: Diego waited for Elena outside the
building and was ready with the car door openned when
he saw her walking out. He drove away.
The man living across Diego's apartment came asking
Arturo (the guy at the counter) if he had any message.
Arturo said no. Later Berenice passed by and the man
greeted her. He watched her go and told Arturo tht
she's beautiful. Arturo said she a nice woman and her
husband hardly be at home. Tht man think the husband
was stupid leaving his beautiful wife alone.
Elena/Paloma, Diego and Julian were at Roberto's
office. Julian kept saying tht he was framed. Elena
showed all the legal documents proving tht their
coffee was of great quality and they didn't know why
Julian's client end up with the bad quality coffee.
Elena promised to try help Julian get as much coffee
as possible to replace the bad ones. Roberto had to
suspend Julian's export activity to avoid scandal.
Julian was devastated and thought tht was not fair.
Roberto said he had to make this difficult decision,
it will be until the one responsible be caught.
El Cafetalero: Diego followed Elena to her office, he
asked why she made the decision to help Julian without
consulting with him. She apologized coz she really
wanted to tell him about it on the way to see Roberto
but he seemed not in the mood to talk to her. She told
him to relax because Don Julian refused to accept the
coffee. She suggest tht they have their own coffee
taster. Diego agreed with the idea. later her phone
rang, she picked it up, it was a man named Jean Carlo
who lent her 1000 when she was in Europe, she was so
glad to hear his voice. He was the one who sent her
the flowers, she said she loved the flowers. Elena
signaled to Diego to excuse herself coz she had to
attend to this call. Diego slammed the door shut (this
time it made the loud banging noice coz it didn't hit
his foot.)
Miami: Fabian was with tht woman (Marcia). Dona Ines
called him and wanted him to return to Mexico to
discuss wht happen to Julian. He told Dona Ines to
ignore it because it's Julian's problem not theirs.
She wanted him to be home anyway. He had to agree. He
wanted Marcia to come with him coz Barbara won't be
home soon. Later his housemaid came running towards
them telling him tht Barbara had just returned with a
taxi. He quickly told Marcia to exit through the
backdoor. He ran towards the opposite way and welcomed
his wife. He told her tht he was swimming to cool
himself down. He said he missed her.
The maid threw all Marcia's stuff through the window
and they landed near her feet.
Fabian wanted her to relax in their room. Barbara
suspected something was not right, she asked who he
had been with since she's been gone. He told her to
relax and breif him on wht the doctor had told her.
Barbara wanted to discuss tomorrow. He said he can't
coz he'll be going to Mexico. Barbara wanted to follow
him and they will discuss when they're in Mexico. When
Barbara walked into the house, Fabian ran to get
Marcia who was crying. The maid told him tht the taxi
will arrive any minute.
Paloma's apartment: Paloma was getting ready to go
out. She was all dressed up and Soledad wondered if
she going out with Diego, she immediately said no.
Soledad didn't like Paloma being secretive. Paloma
said she's seeing someone she adore and respected. She
smiled dreamily at her own reflection in the mirror.
Outside: Diego was in the car outside of Paloma's
apartment. He looked away when Paloma raised the
blinds to see if her date was coming.
Later a car drove by Jean Carlo pulled in front of her
apartment and honked loudly. Paloma ran downstairs and
called him love. They hugged and he spun her around in
his arms and lifted her. They entered his car hurriedly.
Diego was so jealous and punched his steering wheel.
Jean Carlo was jumping and singing while walking
towards the driver's side. Elena/Paloma told him to
stop embarrassing her. He entered the car and drove away.
Diego/Berenice's apartment: The man across Diego's
apartment greeted Berenice and asked if he could use
her phone coz his phone was out of service. He had an
urgent matter to take care of. She allowed him to
enter her house and let him use the phone. Tht man's
name was Miguel Alfonso. He was tellian a friend of
his tht he's confirming to come for dinner in an hour.
later he asked Berenice to give her phone number for
confirmation tht he made the call. She told him tht
the number was on the phone.
Later she asked Rocio if her husband called. Rocio said no.
Miguel Alfonso asked if he can wait there for his
friend to call back. She told him to make himself
comfortable. Later Josefina arrived. Miguel Alfonso
excused himself and hope she'll call him if someone
called on her phone to speak to him. She was glad tht
she could help.
Diego was still waiting outside Paloma's house and
drinking tequila. He said if this is wht Paloma wants,
goodbye Paloma. He drove away.
Miami: Fabian's PR, Sanders told him tht his journey
to Mexico will affect his entire schedule. Fabian told
him to cancel all appointments for tommorow. He had a
much worst problem. HIs flight will leave at 10.30.
Barbara was quiet listening to them. Later the PR
left. Fabian rented a plane for his use. Fabian wanted
to know about her tretment. Barbara said the doctor
said she was healthy and can get pregnant anytime,
they only have to be patient.
Diego/Berenice's apartment: Josefina told Berenice tht
Aurelio was jealous when he saw her talking to Carlos
(the driver). He almost killed her so she had to run
away. Berneice said she can stay there until she get a
job. Josefina promised to help with the housework.
Berenice asked about Carlos, Josefina said Aurelio
didn't allow Carlos to leave. Berenice wanted Josefina
to keep in touch with someone at the hacienda to keep
recieving information about Paloma. Later Diego
returned. Josefna greeted her. Diego forgot about his
promise to take her out for dinner because he had a
coctail party (yeah right). He wondered if there's any
problem at the hacienda tht made Josefina came to
their house. Berenice said she'll be staying with them
until she get a job. Aurelio threw her out of the
hacienda. She asked if Diego can give Josefina any
job. Diego apologized because there's no vacancy.
Diego said he had a bad day. She asked why. He went to
get something to drink and said he wanted to discuss
with her doctor tommorow and he wnted to know about
the treatment tht they need to take in order to get a
baby. Berenice was so happy.
Diego called Aurelio and told him to tell Jeremy to
pack up and come to Mexico city. He later asked wht
happen with Aurelio and Josefina. Aurelio said Diego
was right warning him not to let his wife go because
Josefina lied to him. Diego told him tht Josefina came
to his house and Berenice welcomed her.
Berenice later told him tht she can't get the doctor
on the phone and wonder which time Diego prefer to go
and meet tht doctor. Diego was lost in thoughts, he
told Berenice tht he was thinking about the meeting
he'll be having with his family, he didn't know when
it'll end. Berenice suggest they take the last
appoinment. He agreed. She hugged him wanted him to
know tht she loved him. She asked if wanted to say
anything to her. He said now he felt it's the right
time to have a baby, they kissed and he left for work.
Don Manuel's hacienda: Don Manuel was checking some
coffee and he didn't like it. He told the guy to take
away the coffee when he saw Aurelio approaching him.
Aurelio said he's looking for Jeremy. Don Manuel
yelled Jeremy's name.
Plantation area: Jeremy was making out with Matilde at
the plantation. He quickly dressed up when heard Don
Manuel's voice. He said she should have run away with
him. She said he knew why she can't do tht. He wanted
to kiss her one last time but she pushed his hand away.
Don Manuel's hacienda: Aurelio reminded Don Manuel
about the coffee tht Diego wanted from him. don Manuel
promised they will be collected in 15 days. Later
Jeremy came and Don Manuel left them. He told Jeremy
tht he must go to Mexico city and meet Diego. Jeremy
excused himself to go and clean up first. He told
Matilde tht he's going to Casablanca and asked if she
wanted a present from the city. She wanted some rat
poison said 'harvesting season' had arrived.
Fabian and Barbara arrived with their rented plane.
Perez greeted them. Perez said anyone who lose 3
million deserve to be angry. Barbara wondered if it
had something to do with Fabian. He told his wife to
get to the car. Fabian asked about Elena n Diego.
Perez said they were afraid but realised it wasn't El
Cafetalero's problem, they kept signing the shipping
certificate without any suspicions. Barbara asked wht
was tht about, Fabian told her to keep quiet because
she won't understand the answer to tht question.
El Cafetalero: Diego was on the phone with Jeremy.
Jeremy owed him so much and agreed to do wht ever he
asked. Diego said it has something to do with school
teaching coffee tasters, Jeremy was so interested.
Diego prefer to talk to him when he arrived, he'll
make sure Jeremy get the ticket. (Elena entered his
office). She told him tht the meeting will be at 2
o'clock. He was staring and she seemed to be thinking
"wht's up with this guy". She explained Fabian and
Barbara had just arrived and she had prepared the
reports for the board of directors. He thanked her and
will check those reports later. She told him the
International Coffee called asking for their
confirmation whether to attend their coctail party.
Diego said he won't go if she's going. Laer the phone
rang. It was Berenice. He smiled and agreed with the
doctor's appointment, He said there's nothing going to
change his mind. (He looked at her who was courious
about the call).
She exited the office and stood outside the door. He
looked at the door and said, "Goodbye Paloma."

Diego's office: continued the part Diego said Goodbye Paloma.
Receptionist table: Later Dona Ines and Angela arrived.
Meeting room: Diego went to sit at the meeting room
and Fabian and Barbara entered. Fabian asked if
everything was OK, Diego said everything was great
except for the Julian Mendez problem. Barbara asked
why Berenice wasn't there, Diego said she wasn't
interested in business. Fabian asked about Elena and
Barbara became jealous, later Dona Ines entered the
meeting room with Angela, Diana, Bernando dan Juan
Francisco. Angela pulled Barbara aside and can't wait
to know about her fertility treatment in New York.
Barbara wanted to discuss about tht later. Angela hope
she brought good news.
Bernando approached Fabian and asked wht was he trying
to pull. Fabian play dumb and told Bernando to relax.
Dona Ines thanked everybody for coming and gladly
announce tht Daniela will return and hopefully she'll
be there until Christmas. later Elena/Paloma entered,
apologized coz she had problems with photostat
machine, she later distributed the reports for meeting
members. Fabian praised her because the charts showed
increasement. Dona Ines said Don Roberto himself
called her and hope she can discuss with her family
how to help Don Julian's situation. Fabian said
there's noting to do and it's not their problem.
Bernando's shipping company was also being affected.
Fabian said tht was normal, Julian lost this time
maybe it's his fate. Elena and Diego agreed to supply
some coffee to help Don Julian but Julian disagree and
said they must not invlve in the problem. They will
lose their reputation if they kept doing business with
Julian. Juan Francisco said they can't ignore Julian
who had been doing business with this family since
Fabian was not born. Dona Inez wanted them to discuss
this calmly.
Margarita entered the room and told Elena tht some
people had been waiting for her. Elena excused herself
and said she had to attend another meeting tht she
can't reschedule. Dona Ines thanked her for the
reports. She openned the door to leave and at the same
time Berenice entered, she kissed Elena's cheek and
greeted her. Elena hurriedly left. Berenice kissed
Diego and told him tht their doctor appointment had
been scheduled at 8 o'clock tomorrow. Everyone was
asking wht appointment? Diego excused himself and said
he forgot to get his reports.
Diana leaned across the table and asked, Berenice said
they were ready to have a son. Diana was so happy and
Barbara seemed alerted by the news, so was Fabian.
Elena/Paloma went to see Jean Carlo out side of the
company they hugged and pleased to see each other.
Diego ran out and saw them hugging each other. Later
she entered his car.
Dona Ines still wanted to help Don Julian and wanted
Fabian and Juan Francisco to discuss this closely with
Don Roberto. She wanted to clear the family's name.
Fabian said maybe they had to spend 3 million to help
Julian. She told Juan Francisco to check Elena's
report and gave his ideas later. Diana and Berenice
excused themselves from the meeting.
On the way out they bumped into Diego who had just
returned from his car with the report tht he left in
his car. He went to the meeting room.
Diana asked if she's serious when she said they agreed
to have a son. Berenice explained tht Diego was the
one who brought the idea last night. Berenice said she
did't want to ask him questions tht'll make him mad.
Later Barbara came to join them. She said she's happy
for Berenice and Diego. Barbara told about her
treatment and predicted tht she'll be pregnant about
the same time Berenice's pregnancy. Berenice said
everything went perfectly and she's being friends with
Elena. Barbara warned her to becareful anyway and
asked if Diego came home late. Berenice said she
understood his busy work. Diana warned Barbara not to
stir things up. Barbara said she just want Berenice to
becareful and didn't end up like herself. She knew
very well who Elena olivares was. Diana wondered wht
made Barbara hated Elena so much. Berenice wanted them
to stop talking about the stupid issue. Barbara said
Berenice can be Elena's friend , but make sure she
investigate wht she's been saying. Barbara said Diego
had been as busy as Fabian was and he was always saved
by Elena Olivares. Barbara announced tht their
friendship is over.
Berenice went to Graciela's table. Graciela said she
didn't get to peek for information. Berenice asked if
there was a coctail party last night. Graciela said
no. She demand Graciela to tell her wht she knew.
Graciela said it's wierd tht Elena and Diego always
fight and everyday she received flowers. There's no
one else she should beware of, other than Elena Olivares.
Diana and Berenice went back to the meeting room.
Diana told Diego tht she's proud of his decision.
Later Rafael Perez entered. Fabian inroduced him as
the new company lawyer. Rafael asked if they satisfied
with the reports in their hands. Juan Francisco said
their achievement was amazing, he tried to look for
flaws but there weren't there. He asked if they need
to export tht much everymonth. Fabian said tht was
just a beginning. Juan Francisco smiled and said their
business was great, he congratulated Diego. Diego
seemed to be lost in thoughts and didn't hear him.
Dona Ines asked wht was wrong. He said nothing, he
added tht after Julian Mendez's problems settled,
Elena suggested they set up their own quality control
department so tht they can control their coffee
completely. Dona Ines liked the idea and adjourned the
meeting. She reminded them to welcome Daniela who will
arrive soon.
Fabian went to Perez and wanted to talk to him at his
house tomorrow coz now they have problems.
Dona Ines went to hug Berenice. Berenice went to DOna
Ines' house with everyone else but Diego decided to
come later because he wanted to finish his work by
today so tht he didn't have to come to work tomorrow.
Outside Paloma's apartment: Jean Carlo sent
Paloma/Elena home. She said she enjoyed thenight with
him. He praised her beauty and treated her like a
princess. He promise to come back later. HE waved him
goodbye and entered her house.
Paloma's apartment: Paloma asked why was the house
full of stuff. She quickly cleared the stuff coz they
will have a guest soon. Soledad was angry when Paloma
wanted to rearrange religous statue. Soledad said she
wanted to pray because Paloma was rude with her.
Paloma busied herself gathering the scattered stuff.
Dona Ines' house.
Barbara told Angela tht the doctor found out tht her
pregnancy system was damaged during her first
pregnancy. She's taking medication to recover. ANgela
told her to stop worrying because they will have
another chance. Barbara told Angela tht the doctors
told her not to hope too much for another pregnancy,
it might not happen, she just didn't know how to tell
Fabian. Her marriage will fail. Angela told her to
relax, they'll find another way.
Bernando told Fabian he's worried now his position and
Diego's position were in danger. FAbiantold himi not
to be too loud. Fabian said he had nothing to do with
wht happen to Julian. Bernando was still worried, his
assistant will be blamed because he signed all the
certificates. Fabian told him not to worry, he should
have brought his lifetime partner along to the meeting
because it's a family meeting.
Later Daniela's cheery voice broke the silence.
Everyone was happy to see her. She went to hug Dona
Ines and Juan Francisco. Daniela said she's just
visiting, she won't be staying. Fabian wonder if she
had to leave someone in Paris? They said she grown up
and already have boyfriends. He was an artist, he
paints, scluptures and a poet. She thinks tht was a
lot better than someone tht had something to do with
coffee. She asked about Diego. Dona Ines pulled her
aside and wanted to talk to her.
Diego was at the outside of Paloma's apartment. The
guard greeted him. He asked to meet Elena. Later Jean
Carlo arrived with flowers and a paper bag his hands,
he was singing with joy, he also asked to meet Elena
Olivares. Diego looked at him without blinking. Jean
Carlo was getting uncomfortable and didn't know where
to look. He asked if Diego knew him. Diego went to his
car and drove away. The guard said people now are
getting wierd. Jean Carlo laughed and entered.
Paloma's apartment.
Paloma groomed up her mom and said she looked nice.
She said she had to put perfume on her mom because she
started to smell like church. Later Jean Carlo
arrived. Sheliked the flower. He unloaded his paper
bag and said he'll make an excellent speggetti. She
pulled him to introduce to her mom. Jean Carlo was so
funny. He was impressed by Soledad's beauty and
started calling her 'mama' and sang for her. Soledad
was stunned and her eyes widened. Soledad didn't
understand his song. Paloma said he was praising her
beauty. Soledad told him to stop coz he's making her
embarrassed. He took off his coat and asked whre was
the kitchen. Soledad lead him to the kitchen. He
wanted to cook and told them to relax. his spegetti
will make them fly to heaven. Paloma and Soledad help
make the table. Soledad asked where did she meet this
Don Carlos. Paloma laughed and said he's not Don
Carlos, he's Jean Carlo, an Italian. Paloma said Jean
Carlo was the only nice memory she had in Europe. He
was the one who helped her when she was locked in a
house. She felt as if he was sent from heaven to save her.
Jean Carlo came and told Soledad tht he and his
friends love to go to tht place where they kept Elena.
He was stunned with her beauty and felt he wanted to
spend the night with her. But after listening to her
sad story (about the last harvesting season in
Casablanca) he felt sorry for her and gave her 1000
dollars, with tht money, she escaped. Elena/Paloma
told him tht she's been searching for him to return
his money. He said she lied because she made him came
looking for her in Mexico.
He told Soledad tht Elena promised to find him a
Mexican girlfriend. Soledad didn't understand him and
asked Paloma for translation. Soledad was surprised
tht they weren't lovers. Jean Carlo said Elena turned
him down. He continued to sing tht 'mama' song and
went back to the kitchen.
Diego returned and Daniela hugged him. Daniela told
him about the amazing welcoming party and asked if she
heard right tht wanted to have a baby. He confirmed
it. Daniela told him to have a drink so tht he won't
be bored with his wife. Diego told her not to worry he
didn't have to be with his wife, thanks to science.
Daniela said Berenice was going crazy looking for him,
may be she already called the police. Daniela said
maybe she's afraid tht Diego will dissapeared before
he recieve his "death penalty". Daniela told him not
to lie because she knew very well he didn't want a son
right now, she asked "Why?" Diego thinks it's the only
way to escape from the curse, the coffee worker. He
wanted to save his marriage. She knew he was doing tht
for Diana. Daniela didn't care about an heir in their
family. She told him not to sacrifice himself for everybody.
later Berenice came and kissed him, she ws worried
about him. Daniela started to walk away and told her
to stop worrying because Diego won't be lost. He told
Berenice to ignore Daniela. Later he went to hug Dona
Ines. Diego apologized to everybody tht he made them
wait. Diana told Diego tht Daniela's boyfriend will
come tomorrow. Diego went to Daniela and stared asking
about her french boyfriend. Daniela said physically,
he's handsome, tall and can make any woman happy.
Mentally, he's responsible and romantic, and he
understood her feelings and she loved him. Diego
wondered where did she find such a man. Daniela said
it was a secret. He kissed her forehead. Later he went
to greet Angela.
Angela said Berenice looked all glow up. Barbara said
she'll use Elena to stir things up. Angela said tht a
good idea to split up Diego and Berenice before she
gets pregnant. Angela think Berenice was wiser than
Barbara because she played the perfect part as a wife,
she separated Diego from the coffee worker, and she's
working to make sure there'll be a better future for
her. Bernice will be their enemy for them and for
Barbara. They need to think of something. Later Angela
went to get Fabian.
Berenice told Diego not to consume alcohol because
they'll be having a medical checkup tomorow. He went
away to get some cold drinks.
Barbara asked Berenice if Diego was really at the
office. Berenice said he left not long after they left
for Dona Ines' house. Barbara said it's wierd coz it
took 2 hours to arrive at Dona Ines house. And his
office was not tht far. Berneice asked if Barbara was
her, wht would she do. Barbara said she'll do anything
to keep her marriage and keep an eye on him all the
time and make him choose between her or Elena (tht
exactly wht she did to Fabian and look wht happen to
her.). Berenice didn't wnt to do anything tht will
upset Diego.
Angela told Fabian tht Barbara maybe couldn't conceive
a child anymore. Fabian was losing his self control
because Barbara didn't tell him anything. Angela said
he must do something because tomorrow Diego and
Berenice will see their doctor. Fabian is running out
of time.
Dona Ines asked all of them to join her at dinner table.
Barbara went to Angela and asked if she told Fabian.

Paloma's apartment: Paloma praised Jean Carlo's
speghetti but Soledad said it would taste better with
some tomato sauce, cheese anc chilly. Paloma told
Soledad to stop complaining because Jean Carlo tried
to make his best. Jean Carlo didn't mind tht because
mama always right. Soledad realised tht Paloma seemed
to get angry easily lately. Jean Carlo asked if her
name ws Paloma? Paloma said yes, and wanted her mom to
explain. Soledad said she had been called tht name
since she was little because she liked to wear white
clothing and she didn't know how to sit still and love
to run around the place. "Tht's why we call her
Paloma". Paloma turned to Jean Carlo and warned him
never to call her Paloma, because her name is Elena
Olivares. Soledad called Don Carlo (Paloma quickly
corrected her). She asked how did he find Elena? He
said he saw a coffee advertisement and Elena's name
was on it. So he knew this must be her. Plus he was
there for business. He asked her to be his assistant
but she refused because she had her own
responsibility. Soledad said her boss was too strict
and very jealous. Jean Carlo wondered if he can meet
Elena's boss. She told him tht her boss was the one
tht he loved and the father of the child she carried.
He was surprised tht she didn't marry tht man. Soledad
told him tht when she returned from Europe, tht was
already married to another woman, and he was happy.
Jean Carlo was surprised tht the man didn't wait for
her. He went to hug her and told her not to worry
because Jean Carlo will always be there for her. Elena
thanked him.
Dona Ines house: Dona Ines made a toast for Daniela
and happy tht Diego and Berenice planning to have a
baby and hope Barbara's treatment was also a success.
And asked when Bernando will return will a wife.
Fabian said maybe he's already married without telling them.
Clinic: The doctor told Diego and Bereniece tht
artificial insemination wasn't difficult, they just
have to make sure tht it'll succeed. They need to
check her monthly cycle and her uterus. He told them
not to worry. He proposed to start tht day. The doctor
asked if he already had a baby before this. Diego said
yes, two years ago. Berenice said they have to keep
tht a secret. Diego agreed to begin the process.
El cafetalero: Graciela was munching on snacks when
Elena/Paloma came to enter Diego's office. graciela
said he wasn't in. Elena asked where was he, Graciela
was still munching her snacks and said he went to see
the doctor. Elena wonder if he was sick. She was tired
of Graciela showing disrepect to her as the Assistant
Manager. She pulled the snacks from Graciela and to
her to respect her or she'll fire her.
Fabian's house: Fabian told Perez tht he didn't want
Diego and Elena to know about the coffee they send to
America. Perez told him not to worry because he was
the only one who knows. (Barbara was listening to them
from behind the walls). Perez said they didn't suspect
anyting and just sign everyting he gave to them.
Fabian said he discussed about the 25,000 coffee from
Don Julian and they agree to buy them. He wanted Perez
to arrange a fake shipment to New York. He wanted
Perez to beware of Bernando was getting scared, he
almost had to swear tht he had nothing to do with wht
happen to Don Julian. They agree to meet at the office
later. He excused himself. Barbara pretend to be
walking towards them and went to Fabian. Perez greeted
her. She ignored him. Barbara wanted him to tell her
the truth because she heard everything. She said she's
not stupid. Fabian said he had to achieve an
impossible amount of export. If his family knew, they
will disgree with him. He can't be alone without a
supporting family, so he had to come up with a plan to
avoid gailure. His name cannot appear as someone
responsible, so Diego and Elena will face the risks.
She asked if Bernando was involved. Fabian said it
won't be as bad as wht Elena and Diego will have to
face. He said he did everything for her and for their
faily. Barbara said he's not alone, she'll help him.
Clinic: Diego asked if he had to come again, the
doctor said they had enough sample so he didn't have
to return to the clinic. He said they'll determine the
right date for the artificial insemenation and in 9
months, they'll have a beautiful baby boy. Berenice smiled.

Diego's baby, she hugged Diego.
El Cafetalero: Don Julian asked Margarita for Mr
Sanchez Sambrano but he wasn't in, so Julian went to
see Elena. Elena tried to make him comfortable and
said she's trying to find 25,000 coffee to help him.
Julian said only Fabian can help him and he
appreciated wht she's doing. Later Fabian arrived with
his father. Julian went to greet them. Julian said he
knew tht they're busy but he really need their help.
Later Diego arrived and went straight to Elena/Paloma.
She looked at him and then entered her office,
ignoring him, closing the door.
Diego went to Fabian. Fabian said he looked like
someone who had just heard the worst news. Diego said
he felt like tht.
Elena/Paloma walked past Diego, she meant to ignore
him but she turned to him and ask Diego if he were
sick bcoz she heard he was at a clinic, he said he
just had a medical checkup. He excused himself coz he
need to join the others, he told her to get coffee
from the factory. He left. She seemed very worried
Fabian said he's tired of this problem. Don Julian
begged them to help him or he'll be bankrupt. He
begged Don Juan Francisco. Fabian said the risk was
too high, where can he find 25,000 coffee? He told
Juan Francisco "look wht happen when you help an old
friend of the family? You get trapped together with
him." Juan Francisco said he has a resposibility, he
asked Diego if they had more coffee. Diego said most
of them were to be shipped to New York, he turned to
Fabian and asked if they can ship those coffee for Don
Julian. Fabian immediately said no. He didn't want
anymore problem. Julian should have make his own
backup plan but he wasn't careful, someone betrayed
him. Diego said they don't have to listen to wht
Fabian said. Julian said it's alright, because he
wanted explanation. Fabian said the only explanation
for his problem was tht, he wasn't up to date, he's
old and became an easy prey in this business. Juan
Francisco told Fabian to stop. Fabian said it was the
truth, his own father told him tht business is like a
poker game, many will win but a lot more defeated and
they must show no mercy. Juan Francisco was quiet.
Fabian suggested tht Julian take a retirement. Later
he excused himself coz he had to leave for a meeting.
He apologized for wht he said but tht was wht his
father taught him.
Diego/Berenice's apartment: Berniece went to pick up
the phone it was for Miguel Alfonso, she told Rocio to
call the man across thier place to answer the phone.
Miguel thanked her and told the caller they'll have
dinner and he was having problems with his credit card
in Mexico. He later hang up and express his regret for
interrupting her. BEfore she went out, he asked if he
can make a call, she allowed him and later she went
out. He asked Rocio if she understood English, Rocio
said no, then he told Rocio to make coffee for him.
Bar: Diego went to meet Jeremy. He didn't want to meet
him at the office coz he promised Paloma he won't
jeopardized her identity being revealed. He can't
bring Jeremy to his house because he knew tht Berenice
didn't like him. JEremy asked about the expert coffee
taster plan. Tequila made him become more perspective.
Diego wanted him to choose a group of people tht have
talent to be professional experts, the group will
operate at the factory. Diego will take care of
another group to work at the company. They had a
serious problems once so he had to becareful tht
wouldn't happen again. Jeremy just wanted to know when
he can start. He wanted to arrange his schedule well
because he didn't want to leave Matilde too long.
Diego can arrange for him to operate from Casablanca.
He told Jeremy to make a list of cost tht will be
needed, including his service fee. Jeremy promised tht
he'll send the quotation by tomorrow. He wanted to go
home fast, Matilde was waiting for him. Diego wanted
him to remember tht he was his only contact in the
company, he must not ask anything about Elena
Olivares, Paloma.
Jeremy asked about Berenice. Diego told him tht he
went to the clinic with her and soon she'll be
insemanated. Jeremy told him not to make a mistake.

Diego said the man sent her flowers, picked her up at

man sounded like her fan. Diego said she wore nice
clothes everytime she went out with him and the guy
seemed over 40 and more experienced. She wasn't Paloma
anymore, she's Elena Olivares who travelled around the
world and now she's Assitant Manager at El Cafetalero,
and always be the most beautiful girl at coctail
parties. Her name was famous in coffee business.
Jeremy said he was just jealous. Diego said there's
nothing left for him and may be she unmasked herself.
Jeremy said he made a stupid decision by marrying
Berenice and now he's making a second mistake by
having a baby with someone he didn't love.
El Cafetalero: Diego walked past Elena's office and
heard her talking to Jean Carlo, he went in her office
interrupting the call. She hang up. Diego wanted to
meet her at his office. She agreed.
Barbara/Diego's apartment: Berenice went to see
Barbara. Barbara was busy because she didn't have a
housemaid. Berenice said she had a housemaid from the
hacienda. Barbara was thankful and wanted tht girl to
know tht the work is temporary. Berenice wonder wht
was the emergency, she was worried when Barbara called
her. Berenice said it's about Diego and Elena
Olivares. Berenice said they were together because of
work. Barbara said Elena had a plan and Diego was
chasing after her. Barbara said she wasn't the one
making up stories, many of her friends were talking
about Diego and Elena were in love.
El Cafetalero: Diego wanted Elena to choose a group of
coffee tasters. She was happy the idea was accepted.
SHe discussed with the council to organise a course.
Diego said, his friend Jeremy will do it all. Elena
doubt tht she can work with someone tht might know her
past. Diego said he didn't recognise her. Then
suddenly Graciela openned the door and told him his
wife was on the phone. Diego was angry and warned
Graciela this would be the last time she entered
without knocking. Graciela apologized and told him tht
Internation coffee called asking for their
confirmation if he'll be at their coctail party with
Elena tonight. He thanked her and told her to leave.
Diego asked if she's coming. She said she'll meet him
there. She will also put up notice about the course.
Later he picked up the phone. Berenice said she was
just saying hi and aske dwhen he'll be back. He said
he'll be at the International Coffee coctail party
with Elena. She said she'll wait for him at home. They
hang up. She asked Barbara is she knew where's
International coffee. Barbara smiled and took the
phone from her.
Night.
International Coffee Coctail party: Elena/Paloma was
talking with some businessmen about Julian Mendez's
problem. She was a bit angry when one of them
suggested tht Fabian was the reason it all happened.
They said they didn't mean to offend her tht but wht
everyone was saying. She said it's her duty to take
care of the company's image. Diego saw her temper was
rising, so he went to interrupt them. (Elena was
controlling her breathing, cooling down). He greeted
them. When one of them praised his good work, Deigo
said Fabian was still handling the company and
everything at the office was done by Elena. Elena
tried to explain all the work he did but he cut her
out and said he was just a coffee planter who was made
Manager. He only followed her orders. Elena excused
herself and pulled Diego away.
Elena asked wht was he doing. He can't destory his
image as Manager, it's not funny, it's stupid. Diego
said he can't do anything, her presence made him
invisible. Later Fabian joined them. He was with
Marcia. Don Roberto joined them. Roberto said they had
to suspend Julian's licence for good. Diego said tht
was too much, he wonder if they can help him. Fabian
expressed his sympathy. Roberto said it's too late to
help, his client had filed a lawsuit. Fabian said he
tried his best to help. Roberto seemed unconvinced and
asked, "Really?" He accused FAbian was the one
dragging Julian into this trouble. (someone came to
Elena and told her something, she immediately followed him.)
Fabian and Roberto started to talk loudly. Diego
realised Elena was gone. He quickly went to the door
and heard the man said someone was waiting for her.
Berenice and Barbara had just arrived and Diego didn't
see them.
Fabian told everyone tht soon Mexico will have their
own brand in America. Fabian saw Barbara and quietly
told Marcia to dissapear.
Fabian went to Barbara and asked wht was she doing
there. She seemed surprised to see him there. She
explained tht she went to a nearby restaurant with
Berenice and heard Diego was at this coctail party so
they came to pick him up. Berenice tried to explain
but Barbara cut her out. Fabian said Diego went out.
Berenice asked if Elena Olivares was there. Fabian
said Elena left too, she went out first and a few
minutes later Diego was gone too. Fabian smiled at
Berenice. Barbara seemed jealous.
Elena/Paloma went to the restaurant. Jean Carlo and
soledad was waiting for her. She praised her mom who
looked so beautiful. Jean Carlo gave her a gift to
remember him by which she accepted gladly. She told
them about Julian, his export licence had been
suspended. Jean Carlo tht man was destroyed.
Diego had just arrived, he saw them and sat at a table
behind them. He watched them drank tequila. Soledad
excused herself coz she need to go to the ladies.
Elena thanked Jean Carlo for bringing her mom out. He
kissed her hand and then her cheek. JEan Carlo
admitted tht he's happy with her and didn't like to
see her sad. He asked wht happened and suggest they
have more tequila. She warned him coz he's not good at
drinking tequila. (Diego was still watching them).
Jean Carlo had trouble swallowing his drink. He held
her hand and wanted her to spill her problems. SHe
touched his cheek and hope he won't leave her. He
kissed her hand and said he'll stay forever if tht
will make her happy. They were giggling and kissing.
(If Diego's eyes had laser power, Juan Carlo would
have lots of hole in his head. LOL.)
Later Soledad returned and told them Diego was just
behind them. Elena turned and her smile vanished.
Diego pulled out his wallet and rose from his seat.
Elena quickly went to him and pulled him to face her.
(Soledad told Jean Carlo to let her meet Diego). Elena
asked why was he following her. Diego said this was a
public place, he was there for a drink and when he saw
her, he decided to go away. Elena said since Jean
Carlo came, Diego became a nightmare stalking her. The
guard told her tht he came to her apartment before.
She asked if he wanted to be introduced to Jean Carlo,
he said no. He said he's not interested in her
personal life.
(This scene got interrupted many times, the tv screen
went blue a few times, so i didn't get to see all)
She pulled him to Jean Carlo's table (she made sure
Diego turned to see Jean Carlo). She introduced Diego
as the man who made her stranded in Europe. Jean Carlo
said Diego should be proud of Elena and wht she was
willing to do for her love. Elena/Paloma said Jean
Carlo was a customer she met in Paris. Soledad warned
her not to tell anything more. But Elena/Paloma admit
tht Jean Carlo was a paying customer back then. She
said if Diego has any questions, she'll answer them.
She ordered him to sit and he complied. She said he's
a part of the story so he deserve to know everything.
She told him tht Jean Carlo paid her to be with him
and he listened to her story, he knew why she left for
Euroope, he was the first who knew tht she was
pregnant. (She touched Jean Carlo's hand). She said
Jean Carlo respected her and the best friend she ever
met, he leped her ran away and gave her money. She
kissed Jean Carlos' hand. Jean Carlo asked if Diego
wanted to drink. She said no, he had to go home to his
wife. Diego thanked Jean Carlo and shook his hand. He
asked Elena to follow him.
He asked why dint she told him everyhting. She said
she was not proud of her past. He said he's a part of
the story, just like he ws a part of his life. She
asked if he'll stop following her now? He said no.
Elena/Paloma returned to her table. Soledad and Jean
Carlo agreed tht Diego suffered too much. He's married
but he still love her.
International Coffee coctail party: Fabian told
Barbara tht he had to be there for another hour. He
told Berenice to call her if Diego didn't return.
Barbara left with Bernice.
Marcia was angry and wanted to leave, Fabian stopped
her and said he'l file for a divorce soon.
Diego/Berenice's apartment: Diego returned and
Berenice was waiting for him. She asked where was him
because she went looking for him and he was go and so
was elena. Diego admitted he sent Elena home. Berenice
said everyone was talking about him and Elena,
everytime they were together, he seemed depressed and
then they argue, had a fight and when she left, he
went running after her. She demanded to know wht going
on. Diego can feel tht BArbara must be the one talking
to Berenice. Diego said he always had fight with Elena
because she's hard to approach, she hated to go to
coctail parties, he had to beg her to join him and
when she left, he had to answer questions tht he
didn't know the answers so he had to go looking for
her. Berenice didn't believe him and asked why didnt'
he fire her. Deigo said he needed her.
The next scene was a series of flashback Paloma and
Diego had alternately. (Paloma was still at the
restaurant with Jean Carlo and Soledad who tried to
make her smile). The firstime they saw each other,
their first handshake, the night they made love, the
day she slapped him, the day she saw the woman who ran
away from him and wore his watch, and Fabian
introduced Elena Olivares.
Morning...
El Cafetalero: Diego arrived at work and sw Margarita
arranging flowers, it's from elena. He went to his
office and he had the same flowers arrangement in his
office. Graciela said it was from Elena, he wondered
if Elena made it herself. He took a call from Jeremy
and told him their project will go on. Jeremy said he
was more intersted to know about Paloma. Diego said he
was happy tht Paloma was still the same Paloma, Jean
Carlo was her friend. Later Paloma/Elena came in and
asked if she can take the day off coz she need to do
some christmas shopping. Diego said they need to
finish the year-end report, he allowed her to go but
she must return at 6. She seemed happy and turned to
leave. He thanked her for the flower.
He continued to talk to Jeremy, now he was worried on
how he's going to stop the treatment he was having
with Berenice.
Clinic: Berenice asked the doctor to do the
insemenation today.

Clinic: Berenice said she can't wait, and wanted her
treament to be done as soon as possible. The doctor
said tht out of his decision, the fasted will be after
christmas.
El Cafetalero: Elena was on the phone with Don Julian,
she told him to accept it as God's test on him. She
believe they'll find a way to help him. Perez came
with some stuff to sign. elena said she'll meet him
tht night, she promised to discuss with on Roberto and
told him to stop being sad. It made her sad too. Perez
heard Elena talking about checking the accounts and
discussing it with Don Roberto, Perez seemed worried.
Diego's office: Diego told Graciela to cancel all
appointments for him and Elena coz they'll be busy
with account checking. Graciela asked if they want to
be alone? Diego said they'll be busy after6 oc'clock.
Perez came to meet Diego, Graciela grinned when he saw
her. Perez gave him the same document to be sign. HE
said Elena checked tht document.
Perez exited and went to Graciela was on the phone.
She went to her and said she' so beautiful. Perez
asked if she was free tonight. Seh'll be leaving early
bcause Diego and Elena will be with Diego to help
check the account. Perez was worried and lost interest
in Graciela. Later FAbian came. Perez wanted to talk
to him.
Berenice/Diego's apartment: Diana asked if Berenice
was influenced by Barbara. Berenice said no. Diana
said she was just like listening to other people.
Later Graciel called. She reported tht Diego will have
a meeting with Elena Olivares and it'll be only the
two of them at 6 o'clock. They will check the year-end
account. Berenice agreed tht tht didn't sound normal.
Gracilea said it was supposed to be discussed with
other staff too. Graciel begged her not to tell Diego
tht she was the ne who informed her about this.
Berenice told Diana tht Diego will be with Elena and
they will be alone, she didn't know wht to do, but
she's jealous. She tought after going out from the
hacienda, she and Diego will be closer. Diana told her
to relax, they didn't know if wht Graciela said was
true because Graiela hated Elena. Diana said diego
even agreed to have child with her. Berenice said she
was just worried. Berenice tried to get pregnant fast
but the doctor didnt' allow her, she didn't want to
lose Diego. she hope after Christmas was not too late.
Perez's office: Perez arranged for another 90 sacks of
coffee to be shipped. He told Fabian tht this
afternoon Elena and Diego will check the accounts this
evening and worried they might suspect something.
Fabian will have a meeting with some reporters
tomorrow. He wanted to promot his project. They will
have agret party for the reporters and tickets to
Miami. Fabian asked if heknew any good lawyer. He
wanted to talk to the lawyer. Perez asked if he wanted
to divorce Barbara. Fabian told him not to ask questions.
Barbara/Fabian's house: Josefina went to Barbara's
house. Barbara welcomed her. Seh wanted Josefina to
know tht this was a temporary job. She brought
Josefina to her room.
El Cafetalero:
Diego's office: Fabian told Diego tht he will return
to Miami soon. Diego said he'll do the account o day.
Fabian wanted Rafael to do this. Dieego wanted to do
it himself so tht he can know their company's
situation. He already had Elena to help him.
Later the phone rang, it was Berenice, she asked him
to join her for lunch. Diego said he'll be busy until
late night. Berenice asked with who. Diego said he was
tired of her questions, of course he'll be with Elena
and the rest of the staff. He asked wht else she
wanted to know, she said no, she'll just wait for him.
Diego/Bernice's apartment: Diana said she shouldn't
have lost her trust in Diego.
Diego's office: Fabian said he lied to his wife. Diego
said he can't say he'll be alnone with Elena. Fabian
asked if there's something going on with him and
Elena. diego said she's not his type. Fabian asked if
he's serious. Diego said he didn't just like any girl.
Berenice was just worried. Fabian said Bereice wasn't
like Barbara at all. He asked about their treatment.
Diego said everything went well. Faiban wished him the
best. He wanted him to spend less time with Elena coz
his wife was getting jelaous.
Paloma's apartment: Paloma/Elena returned early,
knocked the door. Soledad was surprised she turned up
with lots of gifts and some men helped carry some
heavy staff for her. She gave them tip and they left.
Soledad asked if she win lotery. Paloma said it's
christmas present but she'll give it early. Soledad
was surprised tht Paloma bought her a huge TV and huge
radio for her to enjoy herself. Soledad wonder how
much was those. She told Paloma not to waste hermoney.
Paloma said she's paying the instalment. Soledad told
her to stop wasting money they have to save for rainy
days. Paloma said she'll by anyting tht they can
afford and she'll work harder. She told her tht she
got a raise.
Jean carlo was in the kitchen singing. Paloma was
surprised. Soledad said she was helping him. Soledad
said Jean Carlo looked like a telenovela hero of
"Sacred Love". Later Jean Carlo came and asked if
Santa Claus arrived after seeing the gifts.
Paloma went to hug him. Jean Carlo wanted her spend
time with him but she had to go the office and had
something to do with her boss. Jean Carlo went to
Soledad and asked her out. Jean Carlo gave a puppy
look and Soledad said yes. Jean Carlo kissed her and
Soledad blushed. Paloma started to tease her blushing.
Soledad said she didn't like being teased and went to
her room.
Outside: Angela was waiting for Fabian. Fabian
apolized for being late. He said Diego was just
waiting for doctor's orders and soon they'll have a
child. Angela asked if he made a decision? He decided
to divorce Barbara. Angela asked wht reason would he
would give to their family? Fabian said he'll tell
them tht Barbara was too jealous and she'll ruin his
image in America. She asked wht will he tell BArbara?
Fabian said he didn't love her tht much. Angela smiled
and asked if there's someone else. Fabian smiled and
said yes, and ANgela knew her. Their relationship was
not tht firm but the woman is adaptable and funny.
She's not a woman who like to take control. Angela was
happy to hear tht it's Marcia. She's from a famous
family. She said FAbian didn't have to convince her
bcoz she like his choice. He had to think how to break
the new s to Barbara. Angela told her not to waste any
time. Angela supported him whole heartedly . They both
were so happy.
El Cafetalero: Elena/Paloma arrived and gave Margarita
a christmas present. Margarita gave her a present too,
they hugged. Elena thanked her for helping her the
first time and now she's the Assistant Manager. Elena
went to Graciela and gave her a christmas present.
Graciela was touched and thanked her. Elena asked if
she's going home? Gracilea stood up and said yes.
Elena went to the meeting room and saw Diego was there
alone, she didn't expect them to have the meeting
alone. Seh said this is nt funny. Diego said they
didn't need anybody else to check the account. She
wanted to know wht was he doing? He asked about their
coffee stock. She wanted to check her computer but he
just wanted to know wht she knew. Elena said both of
them can't get this done without onther staf such
Lombana to provide them with information. Diego said
he had no other agenda in meeting her like this. He
admit he can't work with her around. Her perfume
making him crazy. Elana told him to becareful. Diego
said her beauty can't even make him blink. She went to
her chair and told him to start with their work. She
asked if his wife knew. He said Berenice already knew
tht he'll be late. Elena busied herself and Diego
watched her.
Night...
Diego/Berenice's apartment: Berenice was sitting. She
asked Diana to accompany her to the company. Diana
told her to stop hurting herself. She's turning into
Barbara. Diana told her to call Diego but Berenice
didn't know wht to say. She started to cry. Diana said
she'll stay with her while she wait for Diego.
Berneice said Diego was too obsessed with the coffee
worker and now look wht happen to her. She hope he
didn't have another obsession.
El Cafetalero/meeting room: Elena traced something tht
is not good in their account. They exported too much
coffee compared to wht produced by their factories. he
gave her the list of client tht they recieve coffee
from coz the total didn't match. Diego watch the way
she concentrate on her work. Seh asked if he was
hungry. He said they food will arrive at eight. elena
said there was two different totals. He sat closer to
look at the comparison. She showed the total in the
papers for Don Julian, the difference matched the
number of coffee sent to Don Julian's client. They
wonder of the reports got lost. Tht impossible they
made the transaction without knowing it. They both
were worried.
Barbara/Fabian's house: Barbara asked if Fabian
worried about Elena helping diego. Barbara smiled
after knowing Elena is alone with Diego. Barbara said
if a man and a woman alone, they will only do one
thing. Fabian doubt tht. They must me planning
somehting. Barbara suggest they send Berenice to check
on Diego, it'll be great. Fabian tld her to stop
bothering Diego and Elena. She wanted to destroy her
friend's marriage? Barbara said at first she just
wanted to get rid of the coffee worker but now, they
were endangering their chance by having an heir.
Later Josefina came to clear the table. Fabian was
surprised and Barbara told him about Josefina. Fabian
said he'll be busy soon and going back to America.
Barbara told him to relax. Fabian suggest she be ike
Angela, stay here while her husband is in New York.
Fabian hoped to be back here before Christmas. Barbara
said she had a surprised for him.
El Cafetalero/Meeting room: Elena told him she
received news from Jeremy about the coffee tasters
course and listed the fair price for him. The phone
rang, it was the worker with food. She cleared the
table and the guys entered with candles and champange.
She ws surprised. And then there was a sound of guitar
broke the silence. Diego sang and paloma was stunned
(I was gaping). Paloma watched him sing. And then
there was some backup singers singing along with him.
Paloma smiled. They looked at each other.
Diego and Elena/Paloma finished eating. She praised
the food and the music. Diego said he can't eat
without music, just like her cannot work without singing.
Diego/Berenice's apartment: Diana told Berenice not to
drink too much. Later Barbara came. They thought it
was Diego. Barbara asked if she's interrupting. They
said no. Berenice said Diego was at te office. Barbara
began to raise doubt in her asking why Diego work this
late. Barbara said the meeting was only attended by
two people, Diego and Elena. Diana told her to stop
making up stories and stop harrasing them. Barbara
told berenice to go and look for herself. Diana warned
her but Barabara said she was just protecting her
friend. Diana told her to worry about her own
marriage. Barbara went to Berneice and said Diego is
alone with Elena, she wanted Berenice to follow her to
the office. diana told her not to do tht. Berenice
said why Diego lied to her? Diana warned her,
something bad will happen. Barbara said if there's
nothing happen, she can apologize, at least she can
confirm her doubt. She decided to get ready to go out.
Diana congratulated Barbara because she succeeded.
El Cafetalero/meeting room: Elena agreed to drink more
champange. He asked if she still remember where is
London? Seh remembered the first time they drink
tequila she asked him whre's London. She was trying to
remember tht London is the capital of UK and situated
in Europe. Then she was repeating wht Diego said.
Diego asked if she always do tht. She said she was
just trying to remember it so tht if she had to go
there one day.
Elena excused herself because she had to go meet
Julian. Diego said there's a lot he wanted to talk
about. He told the guitar man to paly their guitars
again and this time they sang. Elena agreed to go and
give a call to cancel her meeting with Don Julian.
Dona Maria answered her phone, she was surprised and
waved to the guitarmen to stop. Diego was surprised.
Outside: Berenice and Diana had just arrived.
El Cafetalero/MEeting room: Diego told the people in
the meeting room to leave. Elena told him tht Don
Julian died two hours ago. He had a heart-attack.
They hugged and she cried. They had a long hug and of
course with perfect timing, Berenice and Diana
entered. Berenice greeted them loudly and they quickly
let go of each other.
