Cuando Seas Mia 37th episode

El Cafetalero: Elena/Paloma went away after she
finished wht in her glass. Diego grabbed a gift and
said it's for Elena, when he looked up she was already gone.

Berenice/Diego's apartment: Miguel Alfonso was on the
phone and Berenice was arranging the table for dinner.
Miguel was talking about something and mentioned about
his yacht. (it seemed to impress Berenice). Miguel
said to the phone tht he wished he can spend they day
with a beautiful lady at the beach. If only he had
someone to bring with him. After he hang up, he asked
Berenice where she would be going for the holiday.
Berenice said nowhere coz her husband would be working
on Christmas eve. Miguel saied they were the only ones
in the building. He gave her phone back and touched
her hand tightly. Later he left.

Paloma's apartment: Paloma returned. Jean Carlo
already left. Soledad seemed sad, she was lonely
again. Paloma said Maria Euginia will join them.
Soledad said she also called just now and said she
can't come. Now they had extra presents. Paloma
suggest they cook something simple. Soledad wanted to
eat outside where there're many people, she didn't
want to be alone, lonely. She'll be crying by
midnight. Paloma tried to make her mom comfortable and
promised to take her out, if not, their tears will
create an ocean.

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Diego returned and
wondered why Berenice didn't join Barbara's party.
Berenice said she prefer to stay home and decorate
their house for christmas. Berenice knew Deigo didn't
really like Barbara. Diego wanted to go celebrate
christmas with his family. Berenice was angry again
coz Diego didn't want to celebrate with her and her
family. She told him to do wht ever he pleased.

Barbara's house: Dona Ines, Diana arrived with
presents. Barbara welcomed them to her house. Later
Juan Francicso arrived with Bernando who brought Juan
Manuel to the family christmas celebration. Fabian
hadn't arrive. Angela told Barbara tht they need to talk.

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Diego was ready to leave
and Berenice appeared with a present for him. They
kissed. He told her to wait for him until he get back.
Diego went away. She sat and realised he left the
present. She called after him but he was gone. She
said he didn't even open the gift he gave her.

Paloma's apartment: Diego went to Paloma's apartment.
Soledad was all dressed up ready to go out. Soledad
called Paloma, she came out (in her robe) she was
putting on make up. She was surprised to see him
there. Paloma excused herself to get dressed. He said
he came to wish them happy christmas. Soledad told him
to sit and give the give to Paloma himself. Soledad
get him some scotch. She said he he can find the glass
in the kitchen. While he was in the kitchen, Paloma
answered the phone from someone (maybe Santiago Lopez
- no subtitle, just taking a stab in the dark heh) he
sa her and heard wht she said about going out together
tht night. When she was saying goodbye, he quickly hid
in the kitchen. Paloma went back to her room. Diego
reappeared with a glass, Soledad asked him to join her
for tequila. Soledad wondered where the gifts came
from. Diego said those were from businessman in coffee
business (he read one of the cards earlier). Soledad
said Paloma told her to dress but she didn't know
where they're going. Later Paloma reappeared from her
room. He was stunned by her beauty in black dress. She
apologized for making him wait. He gave her the gift
tht he wanted to give her earlier at the office. She
loved the earrings and put them on immediately. Then
she also gave him a present. Later the phone rang. It
was Jean Carlo (Diego rolled his eyes). She told Jean
Carlo tht she's going out with Santiago Lopez and her
mom. Diego was waiting for her to end the phone
conversation. Paloma turned to him and apologize tht
he had to wait. She continue to talk on the phone.
Diego was getting late (to go his family's christmas
party). He hugged Soledad and looked at Paloma who
didn't seem ready to hang up the phone. He slowly
walked out and close the door. Paloma heard the door
clicked and she put down the phone. Soledad looked at
her. Paloma said she was suppose to hang up the phone
coz she was just pretending to be busy. She said tht
was how it was supposed to be, she can't have high hoe.

Fabian/Barbara's house: Fabian returned with presents
for Barbara. He greeted everyone. Juan Francisco was
in a hurry and didn't wait for Fabian in New York.
Dona Ines was glad tht Fabian will stay until next
year. Fabian asked Daniela where was her French
boyfriend tht would be their christmas surprise. Dona
Ines told Barbara to call Diego and Berenice who
hadn't arrive.

Berenice/Deigo's apartment: Berenice was with her
parents discussing the pregnancy. Later the phone
rang, she was surprised tht Diego hadn't arrive.

Diego was outside Paloma's apartment. He watched some
kids were singing and walking around the neighbourhood
(sounds like Paloma's favourite song). Later a man
arrived in a car. Elena/Paloma and her mom went to
meet the guy. She introduced him to her mom and he
said they'll have a fun evening. Paloma saw Diego and
said to the guy tht of course they will have fun.

Barbara/Fabian's house: Barbara told them tht Diego
already left the house but he hadn't arrive. She think
Berenice deserve to be angry especially after the
Elena Olivares insident. Dona Ines asked wht Berenice
wanted them to do? fire elena? Diana said yes. Later
Diego arrived he told them he was out giving presents
to poor kids. Dona Ines said they were worried about
him and Berenice. Dona Ines asked about him and elena,
she said if Elena was the cause of his marriage
failure, she'll fire Elena. Diego said he was there
for a nice family dinner and didn't expect to be
question like this. Diego said he'll quit on the same
day elena will be fired. Without Elena the company
will not work. Daniela said tht's not hard to decided,
keep the company running and earn as much money as
they can. Dona Ines warned her not to joke about this.
Fabian told them not to talk about tht, the evidence
they had was not hard. The fact is, the company needs
Elena. Elena must not be compared to Berenice who was
family to them. DAniela said there's an easy solution,
get rid of Berenice, end of story. Dona Ines warned
her again. Juan Francisco agreed with Fabian tht they
shouldn't mixed family with business. Firing Elena
will kill their business. If he had to choose, he'll
choose Elena. Bernando agreed and said it's hard to
find a worker like Elena. Diego agreed tht she's a
great worker. He'll left everything to them to decide.
Dona Ines turned to Diana and asked wht was wrong with
her brother? Daniella flatly said "Nothing.. his
grandma ruined the night with her good intentions."
she added tht the man who end up with her grandma
would be very unlucky (laser gak si Daniela nih). She
left her grandma and Diana.

She went to Diego and said "Super Daniela" was here to
save him. Diego admitted it felt like funeral
reception than christmas dinner. Daniela looked at him
closely and asked "You really like her, don't you?" If
he need to confess anything, she would be the perfect
one for him to tell her all. Diego said non of tht
matter anymore. Daniela wanted to know the answer to
her question was yes or no. Did he go looking for her?
Diego said he told her, it was a waste of time. She
smiled and knew the answer.

Dona Ines called for Diego. He asked if she made a
decision. She warned tht if Berenice find anything bad
on him again, they will support Berenice. Diego
promised it will never happen again. Dona Ines told
him to call Berenice, she must be worried. Daniela
went to her brother and rubbed his shoulder. Daniela
said tht was his punishment. Dona Ines didn't know wht
to say to Daniela who percieve everything comically.

Hotel. Elena, her date and her mom arrived at a hotel.
Their table was ready for them. They joined some men
and women. He introduced them to elena and her mom. He
praised tht she was the most beautiful executive he
ever met. Elena reminded him tht she's going out with
him because he wanted to go out as friend. Soledad
whispered to Elena/Paloma tht she didn't like tht man,
he seemed too proud. Elena whispered back saying she
didn't like him too, but wht can she do. Santiago
asked wht they would like to drink? Soledad wanted
tequila but Paloma ordered scotch for both of them.
She didn't want to be reminded the of the first time
she and Diego drank tequila together. She wanted to be
out of there by midnight. She gave her mom the scotch
n widened her eyes, ordering her to taste the scotch.
Paloma told her mom tht she can't pull her face to
smile anymore. Her facial muscle were aching. LOL!

Berenice/Diego's apartment: Berenice was sad. Her
father was proposing to do a business with Diego,
selling some machines. He hope tht will cover their
loss in their previous business. He believe tht his
son in law will help him, especially before their baby
arrive. Later the phone rang. It was Diego. She said
she was worried. He apologized for calling late, he
was questioned by his family. He asked if her family
arrived, she said yes. He promised to return home in
10 minutes. She said she needed him more than ever.

She told her parents tht Diego will be back soon. She
happily called for Rocio to get the table ready for
dinner. Her mother was happy tht their daughter's
marriage was good.

Barbara/Fabian's house: Jorge Latore was on the phone
with Juan Francisco, exchanging christmas wishes and
all happiness. Jorge later asked to talk to Diego.
Jorge told Diego tht he need to talk to him about some
stuff tht he found out and it was not good. It had
something to do with El Cafetalero's export
transaction. Fabian came to remind Diego tht he better
go back home to avoid Berenice from creating another
scandal. he told Jorge to come to the office later,
they missed him. He hang up.

Josefina told Daniela tht someone was looking for her,
his name was Harold. Daniela was so excited. She told
Diego to stay and meet her boyfriend first. She ran to
the door and openned it. She hugged him. And this
Harold was black. Tht was a surprise. Diego was
statued for a few seconds, Fabian was speechless
despite his chatty mouth. He smiled watching Daniela
and Harold too excited to see each other. Bernando was
gaping without trying to close his mouth back. Barbara
had just turned to see Daniela and wht she saw made
her forgot wht she wanted to say. Dona Ines slowly
turned to see wht made Barbara frozen. She quickly
turned back to hide her surprised expression. Harold
ws a happy go lucky kinda guy. Daniela said she would
like to introduce him to her family. He loudly say
"Hola Family!" Diana turned towards the voice and her
position was stucked when she saw Harold. Juan
Francisco laughed quietly and touched the side of his
bald head. The girls hadn't recover from their shock,
while the guys were smiling and trying not to laugh.
Daniela introduced everyone to Harold. When Daniela
introduced him to her grandma, he was so excited and
went to touch Dona Ines hands and kissed her cheek.
She seemed trapped and clearly didn't like the happy
kid. Harold said he always wanted a grandma coz his
grandma drown in the sea and if she were alive, she
will die anyway the moment she saw his grandson. (LOL!
this guy had a great sense of humor, padan la ngn
Daniela yg can pull jokes during hard times). Dona
Ines was speechless and still in shocked. He praised
tht Dona Ines was so beautiful and he kissed her cheek
again. Diego can't stop smiling. Harold admit tht he
liked coffee as long as it's black coffee of course.
Daniela laughed the most n the rest was just gigling.
Barbara can't even smile and Angela tried to laugh.
heheh. DAniela realised some of them were not happy.
She asked wht happen? They couldn't believe tht Harold
will turn out to be this crazy? DAniela said he's
crazy but he's an excellent artist. DAniela turned to
Harold and said maybe they didn't like him because
he's black. Harold said he didn't mind tht they were
all white. Diana said they thought he was from America
because his name was so American. Harold said, he knew
tht wasn't the reason. It must be because he's black,
black Americans also have the name Harold. DAniela
said Harold was from Veracruz, he had been living in
Paris for many many years. Fabian commented something
and Harold laughed.

Diego excused himself because he need to get back to
his wife. Diana asked if he can drive home. He told
her not to worry. Harold went to hug him and Daniella
kissed her brother. Diego left, still smiling. Harold
looked at the faces infront of him again and said to
Daniela tht they gave quite an impact to her family.
"No doubt about tht," Daniela said. She hugged him, he
smiled, exposing great white teeth.

Outside: Diego got to his car and at tht time the
first firework filled the sky. He looked up.

Hotel. Elena opened a door and watch the sky filled
with colorful effects. The bright spark almost blinded
her. Soledad was drinking scotch and getting drunk.
She was singing. Paloma went to her mom. Soledad
complained tht her drink was getting tasteless. Paloma
took away the glass and told her to stop drinking.
Soledad poured another drink. Santiago came to ask
Elena/Paloma to dance with him. She explained to him
tht she shouldn't have accepted his offer for dinner
because tht day was not the happiest day for her. He
asked wht was her problem. She said there's no
problem, but she felt very bad.

Berenice/Diego's apartment: Berenice was waiting for
Diego. It ws 20 minutes before midnight. She told
Rocio to get the glasses while she went to get the wine.

Barbara/Fabian's house: Harold was sitting close to
Dona Ines who tried to lean away from him. He showed
them something he learnt from his Hindus friends. He
made a potato appear on his palm. Fabian said tht was
great, may be he should show his talent to potato
production company. Harold corrected him and said
potatoes cannot be produced, it must be planted first.
Later the phone rang. FAbian went to get it. Barbara
was getting irritated and told Harold to do the tricks
at his own house.

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Berenice was on the phone
with Fabian. He said she was lucky tht she wasn't
there, she missed a clown show. Daniela brought her
boyfriend who was as black as night and he's peeling
potato right now. He laughed at his own joke. She
asked if Diego was still there. He said Diego left.
Later someone knocked the door. She quickly told
Fabian it's OK because Diego had returned. She hang up
and went to open the door. She called Diego's name,
but the smile wiped out of her face when she saw
Miguel Alfonso was at the door smiling and singing the
merry christmas song and offered her a bottle of wine.


Hotel. Soledad told Paloma tht it's 11.55 p.m. Paloma
told her not to remind her about the time. It'll make
her cry. Soledad told hernot to worry coz she brought
tissues. Paloma wondered why she felt in love with
him. Santiago came and asked her to dance. Soledad
help take care of her seat. While she was dancing, she
heard a familiar voice asking if he can have the
dance. It was Diego.

Cuando Seas Mia 38th episode

Hotel/Restaurant: Paloma tried to avoid Diego. He
stopped her and said he just wanted to wish her Merry
Christmas n make her christmas as bad as his christmas.
She can go to hell with her lovers. She slapped him
once with her palm and struck him on his cheek,
followed by another one with the back on her hand tht
made his head snapped left and right (or was it right
first and then left? sat rewind.. <<<<brrrrrrrrrr<<<<<
ahh.. it was right and then left ehhehe). Paloma asked
how many of her lovers tht he had discovered? He asked
who were those men? The ones who sent her gifts, wrote
her stupid poems. She said she had no lovers and if she
had, it's none of his problems (a bit yelling there).

He admitted tht he cannot take it anymore, he can't
stop himself from being jealous when he saw her with
another man, or when a man call her or looked at her.
His heart hurt when she smiled to another man. He
wanted her to understand tht she was the only one he
ever loved. His life had been painful since the first
time they met, and it's getting more and more painful
after she came again into his life. He touched her chin
and asked wht should he do? (Paloma was quiet through
the whole speech while Soledad were watching them
closely - like watching telenovela lah, others in the
restaurant seemed not to notice them). He admitted tht
he's like a crazy stalker, he spent each night outside
her house. He listened to every word she said, every
word she wrote. He searched for her everywhere, he felt
her around when she wasn't really there. She gave him
the strength to go on with his life and begged her not
to torture his life.

At last Paloma spoke and asked wht about how her
nights? Her heart shattered thinking of him chasing
after her love while his wife was loyal to him. She
tried to forget wht he did to her, (Diego tried to
explain but she stopped him by putting her fingers on
his lips). She tried to think th he was just a
passer-by in her love life but she can't forget him
because there's no one else in her life tht can steal
her heart. She admitted tht she can't live without him.
She pulled back her hand from his cheek.

He asked wht can he do to make her return to him. He
loved her too much. She said she loved him too.

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Berenice's parents
exchanged merry christmas and there to Berenice who
seemed tired and suppressed with anger. She wished
merry christmas to her parents too and then turn to her
side and exchange merry christmas wishes with Miguel Alfonso.

Hotel/Restaurant: Diego and Paloma were in each other's
arms. He kissed her forehead and admitted until now he
never understood Christmas. She said too bad it had to
end. He didn't want to leave without her n called
himself stupid for leaving her. She said they can't be
together, he must go back to his wife who's waiting for
her and will surely be sad to be alone in this special
night. They kissed, she pulled away and walked further
from him. She said maybe they were drunk and tomorrow
this would be a memory. He moved closer and asked if
she's going to forget this night. She would never
forget this and then she kissed him.

Then she went to her mom and told her tht they should
leave. Soledad didn't want to leave. Later Diego went
to ask her for a dance. She said she didn't want to
dance anymore and they can't never be together again.
He touched her shoulder and said he wanted more time
with her. This was his only wish, she finally accepted
and they started dancing.

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Berenice said it's getting
late and they should begin dinner (a huge roasted
chicken was in front of them). She took the knife and
asked Miguel "Which part?" He looked at her and said "chest".

Fabian/Barbara's apartment: Josefina told Fabian tht he
had a call from Miami, he quickly went to answer it.
Josefina later went to talk to Juan Francisco and
wished him merry christmas, he pitied her because she
didn't have any family to celebrate with. She told him
tht Barbara agreed to let her take care of the house
while they were in Miami. She'll be completely alone
here. Juan Francisco sympatized and said 'poor girl'.

Dona Ines was worried about Diego and Berenice. She
wanted to call them and wanted to know how was their
christmas. Diana suggest they do tht in another room
coz this one was too crowded. Barbara told them dinner
will be served. Later she decided to follow them to
another room when Harold's voice travelled through the
room and made Barbara's smile dissapeared. She said she
wanted to speak to Berenice too.

Miami: Marcia called Fabian because she was lonely and
missing him. Fabian told her to call after 12 next time
and be patient, they'll be together soon. He promised
to call her later.

Fabian/Barbara's apartment: Barbara was already behind
him and he hang up the phone and told her tht it was
Michael Sanders wishing them Merry Christmas. Barbara
was jealous and said he didn't seem like talking to
Michael Sanders. He left the room.

Barbara told Diana and Dona Ines tht she was sure he
wasn't talking to Michael Sanders, tht must be a woman.
Dona Ines said she can't make accusation without
evidence. Barbara's jaw dropped. Dona Ines asked for
Diego's phone number.

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Miguel was praising the
delicious food tht reminded him of a restaurant in
France. ANd later he was talking about food tht can
ignite passion and Berenice shot him with a warning
look. He quickly apologized for the slip of tongue.
Later the phone rang. Berneice didn't want to answer
it. Her mom said it might be Diego and she began to
stand up, Berneice told her to sit down and let it
ring. Her mom told her to answer it, so she answered
it and it was Barbara wishing her Merry Christmas. She
thanked Barbara but when Barbara told her tht Dona Ines
wanted to talk to her, she angrily said she didn't want
to talk to anyone. Barbara asked if she had a fight
with Diego. Berenice said no, he hadn't come come.
Barbara closed the mouth piece of the phone and told
Dona Ines tht Diego hadn't returned. Berenice told her
to guess where's Diego. Barbara told her not to imagine
things. Later they hang up.

Barbara/Fabian's apartment: Dona Ines asked wht
happened. Barbara said like she said earlier, Diego
hadn't return and Berenice was getting angry.

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Berenice's mom told her to
be patient and hear wht Diego would have to say.
Berenice told her not to worry coz she'll tell her
tomorrow. Her parents excused themselves and told her
to sleep well. Her father suggested tht she should come
more often to their house. Miguel shook her her
mother's hand kissed it. Berneice thanked them for
coming. Later they left. Miguel sat close to her and
said he enjoy being there with her. He kissed her hand
and walked towards the door. Berenice held her head and
screamed. Miguel returned to her and squeezed her
shoulder. He said he understood wht she's feeling
because he had the same experience.

Hotel/Restaurant: Paloma n Diego were still in each
other's arms. Soledad was observing them with full
interest. Santiago said "So it was true tht Diego and
Elena were having an affair." Soledad told him to
becareful with wht he was saying. They were just
settling old problems. Santiago said "Yeah, right."

Paloma touched Diego's cheek and said they should go
home. He wanted them to go home together. She reminded
them tht they would never be together and she must keep
her promise to Berenice. Dieo said there's nothing
going on with him and Berenice. She was jealous of
Elena Olivares and feared tht his Paloma will return,
she was defending a relationship they never had. She
asked then why they were still together. Diego said
he's afraid of living alone. She said he was being
cruel to his wife. Diego said they made an agreement
before marriage tht they won't go further than wht they
were having now. He wanted to run away with her and
leave everything. Paloma said she would never forgive
herself if she would be the reason Diego's marriage
destroyed. Later Santiago came to interrupt them and
said Soledad was getting dizzy and nauseas.
Elena/Paloma quickly left Diego and went pull her mom
out of the restaurant. Santiago grabbed Diego and asked
wht was he doing? Most people in tht room knew him and
his family, he was destroying Elena's image. Diego
turned towards Paloma's table and they were gone.

Outside/Taxi: Paloma and her mom was in a taxi. Soledad
said she didn't like Santiago and suggest they have
their own party, just the two of them. Paloma agreed.
Soledad said they should invite Diego because they
seemed happy together just like the ending of Pilgrims
Love. She told Paloma to sing her song.

Hotel/Restaurant: Diego searched for Paloma but she was
no where to be seen.

Outside Paloma's apartment: Paloma arrived and her mom
was laughing. Jean Carlo was waiting for them with
flowers in his hands. He greeted Paloma and asked a hug
from Soledad. Soledad said she didn't know him and ran
into the house. Paloma told him tht she drunk a whole
bottle of tequila. Jean Carlo winced. He apologized coz
he can't come earlier. Soledad called for Paloma and
told her to stop talking to tht crazy man. Paloma and
Jean Carlo exchanged Christmas wishes and hugged.
Paloma thanked him for coming. Soledad returned angrily
and told her to leave tht crazy man. Jean Carlo said he
had planned something for three of them and rushed the
girls into the house.

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Diego returned and Berenice
said she and been waiting for him to wish her merry
chrismas. Diego went to touch her shoulder and she
yelled not to touch her. Her parents wished tht he was
there, it would be much happier. Diego apologized. She
told him to call his family who was worried about him
and she told them tht he must be celebrating christmas
with someone else in another place, but his family
didn't believe her because Deigo was an honest, loving
husband. Diego said this is not the right time to
discuss. Diego walked away from her and said he knew
wht she was thinking. She followed him and asked if
it's true. She knew tht he's with Elena. He returned
with no scratches or bruises so he can't say he had an
accident or come up with other excuses. She wondered if
he had any alibi to save him this time. She screamed
asking wht other lies tht he was preparing to tell her.
She wondered how he was going to apologize for not
being there with her. Diego said he will never
apologize. Berenice looked him in the eyes and asked
did he spent the night celebrating christmas with
Elena. He said no, so she must forget her plans to get
rid of Elena. Berenice yelled tht he was protecting
Elena. He began to yell back at her saying tht he was
alone. She said "Alone during Christmas?" she gave a
pathetic laugh and said she was the one who's alone.
Diego said he needed to think and made a decison. She
threw her glass and wonder wht her future would be, by
next week she will go on with the artificial insemenation process.
Diego said she needed to calm down in order to discuss
this matter. Berenice started to cry and said in a
relationship like theirs, they need a child, she's
afraid of being left because he knew tht she loved him.
He asked why did she love him? She was just trying to
make people think tht they're happy. Berenice said she
was ready to die for him but he ignored her while she
was loyal to him. Berenice said she's a woman who would
love a man till the day she dies. Diego told her to
stop torturing both of them, he wanted to discuss the
matter tomorrow. Berenice said he won't be here
tomorrow, Diego agree to leave. Berenice opened the
door and told him to get out and go to the arms of tht
b*tch. He said no one was waiting for him. Berenice
sadly said everything was perfect during dinner except
he wasn't there, he didn't open her present. She
thought he stopped by someplace to get her presents but
she was wrong. She ran to her room and crashed on the
bed, crying. Diego followed her and told her tht he
never meant to hurt her. He apologized and went to
close the door.

Morning...
Berenice/Diego's apartment: Berenice got a call from
Diana. She told Diana tht Diego got back at 2 a.m. and
he told her tht he was alone. She didn't believe wht he
said. They agree to meet tomorrow. Diego watched her
and started to drink.

Dona Ines' house: Diana told Dona Ines and Daniela tht
Diego came back at 2 a.m. Berenice suspected tht he
went out with Elena. (Daniela and Dona Ines were
eating). Dona Ines wondered if he really went out with
Elena. Daniela flatly said "I hope he did" because
diego deserve to be happy. Diana asked why did she hate
Berenice so much. Daniela didn't trust her because wht
woman would marry a man she hardly know tht promised
her nothing in marriage, they didn't even sleep
together. "Diego is wierd by Berenice is more wierd."
She imagining wht type of woman Berenice was who
survive in marriage without love and sex. "I'm sure he
didn't marry an angel." Dona Ines and Diana were

The phone was ringing and she yelled at him to pick it
up and later she left.

christmas. He said he need help. Jeremy told him tht

she's two days late and shemight be pregnant, she

Dona Ines' house: Berenice told Dona Ines tht Diego
decided to separate from her. She said she tried to
save the marriage but (she cried) she failed. She said

cried harder and said since Diego met Elena he began to
lie to her. There' no need to try anything coz Diego
made his decision. Diana said she should let Diego
explain if she didn't want to end up like Barbara. Dona

Diego/Berenice's apartment: The phone rang and Diego
picked his bag and suit case and walk out of the house.
He let the phone rang.

Dona Ines' house: Berenice cried and said she was
stupid trying to call him. She wanted to go away from
Diego. Then she left. Diana asked if Dona Ines believe
tht he's with Elena. She told Diana to get Elena's
number and if it's true, Elena has to be fired.

Paloma's apartment: Diego went looking for Paloma but
the guard told him tht she left for a vacation carrying
lots of bags.

Dona Ines' house: Diana called Elena's home but no one
answered. They suspected tht maybe she did went away

treating her nicely. The drank some wine. He asked

Jean Carlo's place: Paloma told Jean Carlo tht she
might not be returning for work anymore. She said she
need to think about her life now. She had to make a
decision whether to be with Diego again or will never
meet him again as long as she lived.

Dona Ines' house: Juan Francisco asked if they really
sure Diego was with Elena. Dona Ines didn't meant to
trouble Juan Francisco, she need him to talk to Diego.
Later Harold returned with his happy voice greeting the
famili! And this time he even tried to kiss Juan
Francisco's cheek. Juan Francisco lean away from his
kiss. Daniela wondered who was the topic of their
discussion now. Daniela and Harold went to another room.

tht need solving. Juan Francisco said he can't take
over Jaoquin's place to advice Diego and Daniela.

Berenice's parents' house: Berenice's mother was angry

bags. Later Berenice returned, she greeted both of

arrived, Arturo said no. Her husband left early morning.

downstairs: Diego returned to his apartment building
and Arturo greeted him. Diego touched the ornaments on
the christmas tree. He was thinking..

Berenice/Diego's apartment: Berenice entered her
apartment and looked at the empty bed. She longingly
hugged the pillow next to her pillow.

downstairs: Diego decided to leave without entering his apartment.

Jean Carlo's place: Soledad asked Paloma to play a
boardgame with her. Paloma decided not to coz she'll
always win at last. Soledad said she felt like winning.
She asked how long they'll be staying there. Paloma
didn't know. She asked wht about Diego who loved him.
Paloma said he's married. Soledad said they stayed to
gether but they have no feelings towards each other.
She think Paloma should accept Diego and he will
definitely leave his wife. She later let go some dices
and started to move the piece on their boardgame.
Soledad pitied Diego's wife, she said if Diego really
wanted Paloma may be Paloma should talk nicely to
Berenice coz she was not happily married to Diego. They
shouldn't hide their feelings coz they were both
hurting. She said soon he'll tired waiting, it has been
2 years and he's still married to his wife. Soledad

Carlo walked towards them singging. Soledad was worried

Outside Paloma's apartment: Juan Francisco went to
Paloma's apartment and asked the guard. He tried to
find where's Elena and the guard told him tht Elena
went for a holiday with a man who came to pick her and
her mom earlier this morning (Juan Francisco posed as
someone from el CAfetalero who came to give her money
from the office).

Diego went to the resaurant where the last coctail
party was handled he sat at a table. He told the waiter
he's drinking alone but wanted him to bring tequila for two.

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Berenice was drinking at her bed.

Barbara/Fabian's apartment: Fabian told his mom tht
Barbara went to see a doctor coz she was late 2 days.
He said Barbara was making this an obsession and
worried tht she might lose her mind. Angela wondered
wht if Barbara really pregnant, wht would he do with
Marcia? Fabian said confidently tht Barbara was not
pregnant, unles she showed him approved results from
doctor. But if she was really pregnant, he'll still let
Marcia stay at his house in Miami. Juan Francisco
joined them and told them seemed like Diego and
Berneice are separating. He told wht he knew about
Diego coming home late, they argued and then decided to
split. (Josefina gave him something to drink) He think
Berenice was innocent. He told them tht he went to
Elena's house and the guard told them tht she went out
with her mom and another woman, he's guessing tht man
was Diego.

Later Barbara returned, looking sad. Fabian asked wht
happened, she ran to her room. Angela told Fabian to
talk to his wife.

Fabian hugged Barbara on the bed and told her not to be
so sad coz she'll be pregnant soon. He said he had a
good news for her, Diego and Berenice were getting
divorce. His father told him and he added tht it seemed
like Diego had went away with Elena Olivares.

Juan Francisco told his wife how Dona Ines wanted him
to advice Diego and Daniela, replacing Joaquin's place.
He can't imagine himself helping Diego save his
marriage and advicing Daniela to send her black
boyfriend back to Europe. They both laughed.

Dona Ines' house: Diana and Daniela were seriously
discussing about Harold. Daniela couldn't believe tht
they can't accept Harold because he's black. Diana
didn't want Daniela to make Dona Ines worried more

with Diego dissapearing and Berenice wanting a divorce.

wife on the phone. Barbara told BErneice tht Juan
FRancisco went to check Elena's place and Elena and
Diego left together, he fooled her. FAbian warned her
not to go on.

Berenice/Diego's apartment: Berenice let go of the
phone weakly.

Fabian/Barbara's house: The line went dead. FAbian said
wht else she should do after hearing something like
tht. Barbara said she just wanted to make sure nothing
will continue between Berenice and Diego. Fabian said
she did a good job and ruined a marriage. He asked if
she realised tht she had helped Elena Olivares. She
shove Diego into Elena's hand. Maybe Elena already knew
how to get to Diego. Fabian said it's Barbara who had
to be worried now. Barbara seemed very worried and
regretted wht she just did.

Berenice/Diego's apartment: Miguel asked if Berenice
was alright. She fell from the couch and cried. Miguel
picked her up and put her down on her bed.

margarita said no, he wonder if she knew where Elena
was. Margarita said Elena didn't tell her anything. She
hope Elena will return because there's a lot to be
handled. he went to his office and asked Graciela if
anyone called him. She said no.

Dona Ines' house: Diana told Dona Ines tht Diana loved
Harold and if they interfere, she might run away from
home. Later the phone rang and Diana went to pick it
up. It was Graciela. Diana seemed happy with wht ever
Graciela was telling her. Dona Ines asked for the
phone. Diana told her tht Diego returned to the office
as if nothing happen and Elena hadn't return from her
vacation. They were both relieved because this mean tht
Diego and Elena weren't together.

El Cafetalero: Diego called Paloma's apartment and no
one answered. Later he hang up when Perez entered with
some documents for him to sign. He asked when the
coffee will be shipped, Perez said next week. He didn't
need Elena's signature coz Diego's was enough. He
turned to leave and bumped into Jorge Latore who eyed
him suspiciously.

Jorge asked wht were the documents tht he signed, Diego
said those were some certificates to send coffee
abroad. Diego wondered wht Latore really wanted to tell
him tht was important. Jorge warned him to becareful
again because there're rumours saying tht Fabian was
taking a huge risk in the stock exchange. Fabian
stealing Julian Mendez's client was a stupid mistake
and created doubts in the coffee business. He's being
watch and warned tht Diego might be involved into this
too. Diego wondered how was he involved. Jorge was
almost sure tht Fabian was manipulating Diego. Diego
wondered how can he be used when he and Elena was
controlling everything quite well. Jorge asked if he
traced anything wierd in the company's documents. Diego
told him tht he and Elena checked the account balance
the other night and the coffee exported was more tht
what they have and later Perez gave him the invoice tht
was missing and everything balanced again. Jorge warned
him not to be too comfortable with wht Perez's doing.
He told Diego to visit the port and checked the coffee
himself to make sure the amount matched the ones in the
certificates tht he put his signatures on. Diego asked
if he suspected fake deliveries had been arranged.
Jorge said everyone knew tht El Cafetalero made
impossible shipments coz no one can export tht much coffee.

He asked if Jorge believe tht Fabian would do tht to
him? Jorge said Fabian wasn't his cousin anymore, if
one day he had to choose between money and family, he
will choose money. Jorge said he'll be the happiest man
if wht he suspected wasn't true. He later excused
himself and hugged Diego. He told him to make the visit
to the ports as soon as possible and go there alone
because he can't trust anyone, even his family or Elena
Olivares. Diego said Elena would never be a apart of
this. Jorge said if he trusted her, he needed her to
help in this. It'll be hard to carry the burden alone.
Maybe she's also one of Fabian's victims.

Jean Carlo's place: Paloma still cannot decide and her
life depend on her decision. Soledad agreed. She can't
just stay there admiring the scenery, the sun and

Jean Carlo's place: Paloma decided not to return.

El Cafetalero: Diego made an arrangement for him to go
to3 different places and he wanted to book 3 different
hotels in each city he's going.

Graciela entered without knocking again. Diego warned
her, she heard diego talking about booking hotels.

He told them many ppl are looking for Elena, and a
client from spain asking about his orders.

Later Dona Ines and Diana came to confirm if he really
wanted to divorce Berenice, he said yes and it had
nothing to do with Elena. Diana asked where was he last
night, he snapped back saying he was alone. He told
Dona Ines tht Elena went for a vacation and she hadn't
returned, Dona Ines said they knew about tht but they
wondering why was he divorcing Berenice. Diana was
worried about her brother who scared of living alone.
Dona Inees wanted him to stay in a room in her house.
Diego wanted to stay at a hotel first and then he'll be
travelling around some cities.

Rafael was going to entere Diego's roombut Graciela
stopped him. She was later on the phone and Perez was
worried. Graciela was confirming of Diego's travel
schedule from one city to another and Perez recognised
the names of the cities tht had ports tht they used to
export their coffee.

Later Dona Ines and Diana was sying goodbye. Diego said
it's a hard decision to make, he just didn't want to
make her suffer any more. Graciela said goodbye to
them. and She gave him the list she got from the
travelling agency. He asked why didn't she passed the
call to him, she said she thought he was busy with Dona
Ines and Diana, he asked if any one knew about the call
she said no. Diego entered his office. Graciela was
wondering wht Diego was up to.

Dona Ines and Diana asked Margarita if she knew of
elena's whereabouts. She didn't know anything.

Perez told Fabian (on the phone) about Diego traveling
schedule. They were both worried. Fabian told him to
get to the first port by tht day and bribe anyone or
everyone he can to make sure Diego didn't get the truth
and they must fake the certificate for Diego. Barbara
heard everything. He said Diego is back to work and
Elena wasn't with him at all. Fabian warned Barbara tht
he had no time to fight with her and wanted her to keep
her mouth shut.

Berenice/Diego's apartment: Berenice was packing. She
found a little gift for her and she threw it into the
waste paper basket. She gathered all the christmas
decorations. Later the doorbell rang and Miguel was on
the phone. She said he can't use the phone anymore and
her parents will be there soon. he told her tht his
phone was never out of service. He moved close to her
and said he didn't regret whthappen, he admired her
since the first time he saw her. He'll do anything to
be with her and prove tht she's a wonderful woman.
Berenice pushed him away and said she's busy getting
ready to go away. Berenice said Miguel took advantage
of her last time. Miegulsaid she's lying, she liked him
and her husband didn't care about her. Later they were
kissing and he was on top of her. Someone was at the
door and it was Diana. Berenice told him to pretend to
use the phone. Diana entered and sw MIguel who was
casting a flirting look towards her. Diana told
Berenice tht Diego was alone at a hotel room while
Elena was out side of Mexico. Diana said they will try
to find a way to avoide a divorce.

El Cafetalero: Diego asked Margarita if she heard
anything from Elena. She said no.

Jean Carlo's place: Soledad had a long talk with Jean
Carlo and she told him about Paloma's problem and she
admitted to Paloma tht she told him everything. Soledad
said Jean Carlo is talking to someone tht will wipe
away her doubts. Paloma was suprised and didn't know
who was Soledad talking about.

El Cafetalero: Diego was on the phone with Jeremy.
Diego afraid tht Paloma left him just like she left him
at the hacienda. She lost her again.

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Miguel Alfonso was gone.
Diana told Berenice tht Diego mentioned nothing about
returning to Berenice but there's defimnitely nothing
going on between Diego and Elena. Diana said this maybe
the only way and time for them to be back together.
Berenice said she's tired and din't want to look at him
anymore. Diana reminded her tht she made him stay in
the city and even made him left the hacienda, of course
she can do this one too. Bernice say she was just tired
and becoming crazy, wondering if accepting to marry him
was a good move. She apologize, she love diego more
thanher life and shehad to go and leave everyhthing.
Tomorrow she'll sign a document to start the divorce process.

Jean Carlo's place: Paloma was playing cards with her
mom. Jean Carlo came with Hector, a psychatarist.
Paloma asked her mom why she brought a shrink for her.
Hector watned to talk to her so Jan Carlo and Soledad
left her alone with the doctor. Hector told her to be
calm. She asked if he think she's crazy, he said he
just wanted to know wht's going on on her mind.

Deigo/Berenice apartment: Diana told Berenice to call
her and said no matter wht happen they wiill be
friends. Berenice see Diana as her own sisters and hope
Diana can help her when she need one. Diana left.

Later the door was knocked again, it was Miguel again.
Berenice was angry again. He satarted to take off his
jacket. Berenice pushed him out and closed the door.

Bernando's office: Bernando was angry and told Fabian
tht soon Diego will know everything. Fabian said he was
just being suspicious. Bernando panicked tht Diego will
start his checking tomorrow. Fabian asaid he'll be
ready for it and buy enough coffee to cover the
remaining amount according to their certificate, he's
willing to buy no matter how expansive the price was.
He told Bernando to relax and it's not him who signed
the dcuments, it's Diego. Bernando said he'll regret it
for the rest ofhislife. Juan Manuel gave FAbian the
document he need and Bernando told him to get lost.

Bernando told Manuel tht Diego will investigate. They
both worried it the truth came out. Bernando touched
Manuel's shoulder and apologized tht he brought him
into this.

El Cafetalero: Diego was on the way to Paloma's office
and saw a couple hugging. He watched them and later
openned Paloma's office.

Jean Carlo's place: Paloma was telling her story to
Hector. She asked if he understood, Hector said yes and
told her to go on. She asked if there's really a man
who can love somone tht much, he said yes. He was
married and he needed her to save himfrom hs marriage.
She asked if it possible she's the only one he loved,
not his wife. HEctor said tht wasn't perdictable.
Heasked where with whom did Diego stayed in Europe,
Paloma said with his cousin. Hector suggest may they
can ask his cousin so tht they could know if Diego had
an active sexlife there.

Fabian/Barbara's house: Fabian was on the phone with
Marcia, telling her how he missed her, how he loved
her. Then Barbara came and he quickly cahnge the topic
about buying 25000 coffee at 1.85 per gram.

Jean Carlo's place: Dr. Hector said Diego maybe
influenced by his cousin's way of life, and somehow he
tried to avoide being Fabian. His sexual need only come
after he was in commitment to someone. She asked why
her, Hector said maybe she had something he didn't find
in other women, even his wife. Diego made the decision
to marry in pressure. He's sure tht the only one he
loved is Paloma. He might already regretted the
marriage tht he made the decision in a rush.

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Berenice's father worried
tht they might lose the case because Sambrano's lawyer
is good. He said her money supply would be much better
if she stay married. Berenice disagreed because Diego
wanted other woman. Her father reminded her tht her
marriage to Diego was like a life insurance.

Jean Carlo's place: Dr Hector said maybe Diego also
having emotinal problem, if he was happy, he wouldn't
be looking for Paloma. It' true tht only Paloma can
save Diego from his hell. Paloma gave him hope. Being
born with someone to love you back was something
beautiful and to be left without one was like a curse.
Paloma seemed to be in deep thought.

El Cafetalero: Diana told Diego about Berenice's plan
to get a divorce. Diego said he knew tht Berenice loved
and respected him but he didn't love her. Tomorrow they
will choose their own life. Diana reminded him tht he
will be completely alone.

Jean Carlo's place: Dr. Hector told Paloma to make the
best decision. She shook his hand and gave him a kiss.
Then he left. Paloma sat and said she loved Diego and
he belonged to her.

Outside Paloma's apartment: Diego went to check if
Elena was home but the guard said she hadn't return yet.

Jean Carlo's place: Paloma was much happier now and she
had her funself back. She felt tht Diego needed her and
she needed him too. She told Soledad tht she decided to
come back home.

Diego went to the restaurant again, having a drink
alone. There's a bunch of men with guitars singing
Paloma's song. diego remembered Paloma saying tht
she'll never forgive herself if he and Berenice
divorced. (He sang softly the sang with the men). Then
he remembered wht Diana said tht after everything over
with Berenice, he will be alone.

Jean Carlo's place: Paloma was at a high spirit and
busy packing so tht they can travel back home early
tomorrow. Jean Carlo was happy to see her happy again.
She can't wait to get back and meet Diego and tell him
how she felt. Soledad was happy too.

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Diego returned to Berenice.
She asked how long will he be there. He didn't know for
how long. (Time lapsed) Diego told Berenice tht he'll
be away for 3 or 4 days, he'll be back before new year.
Berenice also wanted to go someplace else with her
friends. He won't be able to reach her then, if he had
anything to tell her, she wanted him to tell her
immediately. She asked if he knew where's Elena, he
said he didn't know, she went to a vacation and no one
knew where she was.

Fabian/Barbara's house: Fabian sounded angry yelling to
the phone. Perez said he's doing his best to prepare
everything before Diego arrive. Perez said they need
another 15000 sacks. Fabian was surprised, but later
told Perez to deal with the first port first and go on
to the second port as soon as possible. He hang up.
Barbara watched his reaction.

Morning...
El Cafetalero: Diego arrived and asked margarita about
Elena. She said Elena hadn't return yet. She didn't
even call. Later Margarita tried to call Elena but failed.

Diego went to his office and told Graciela to get Perez
to see him. Then he asked Graciela if she seen Elena.
Graciela checked her watch and said he was supposed to
be at the air port. He said he had something important
to deal with.

Outside: Jean Carlo ws driving. Paloma told him to
drive faster. Soledad asked if she wanted them dead?
Paloma said she was supposed to be at the office an
hour ago. She told Jean Carlo to pull over so tht she
can drive. Soledad told him to ignore Paloma. Jean
Carlo said he came to Mexico to do business, not die in
an accident. Jean Carlo than start singing calm the
situation. Soledad sang with im and after a few
seconds, Paloma joined them singing.

Fabian/Barbara's house: Fabian was lying on his wife's
lap discussing Berenice and Diego. She said they will
go out of town but separately. Fabian said the only way
to save the marriage was not to listen to Barbara.
Barbara got angry and pushed him away from her lap.
Fabian sat up and pulled Barbara to lie on his lap. He
said she almost made Diego get Elena. Barbara wondered
if Elena got back. He asked if she want to arrange a
surprise welcoming party? She said 'maybe'.

El Cafetalero: Diego went to Perez's office searching
for the last invoice and delivery certificate. Graciela
said maybe Perez took it. Diego said those documents
wasn't suppose to be taken out of the office. Graciela
