El Cafetalero:
Diego ws surprised to see Paloma in front of him. She
apologized. She moved closer to him and apologized
again for not returning yesterday, she's willing to
make up to every hour she missed. She practically ran
back to work. She explained tht she n her mom was at
Jean Carlo's place and she promised to get ready in a
minute. She walked away and Diego smiled.
Graciela called FAbian and told him tht Diego wanted
the original copies of the shipment certificates.
Rafael wasn't there to explain anything. Graciela said
Elena had the copies. Fabian was surprised to hear tht
Elena already returned and she's already with Diego in
her office. He told Graciela to keep giving him
information. Later he hang up and threw away the phone.
Elena/Paloma was looking for the copies of the shipment
certificates tht she kept. She found them and gave them
to Diego. Diego admitted tht he's afraid tht he lost
her again on the last 24th Disember. He promised not to
bother her again so tht she won't leave again. She
tried to explain where she was and about her feelings
but Margarita came in and told Diego tht the driver was
waiting to take Diego to the airport. Later she left.
Paloma asked if he's leaving town, he said yes, and she
must do the same too. She smiled and asked wht was the
problem. Diego told her promised to keep secret wht
he's about to tell her. There's proof showing tht
Fabian was using them to do his dirty work. He has been
making fake shipments. He can't check stuff alone, he
wanted her check the port in Manzanilo and Veracruz
while he checked the one in Lazaro Cardenas, coz if
something went wrong in Lazaro Cardenas, he's sure tht
Fabian will be informed and he'll be standing by in
Veracruz. Paloma was surprised hearing this. Diego said
her task was simple, just make sure the number of
coffee sacks matched with the ones written in the
shipment certificate. They had to go to these three
ports coz those were the ports tht made the largest
shipments for export. He told her to leave today. He
told her to made the reservation herself so tht no one
else knew about this. If they find any flaws, he told
her to do nothing, they will decide as soon as they
return. Paloma nodded. He hate to send her on a
dangerous mission, she told him not to worry coz she
had been through worst situation.
Margarita knocked again and told Diego tht his time is
running out coz his flight will go soon. Diego held her
hands and hope she'll becareful. She wished the same.
He's glad tht she finally returned. His eyes never left
hers until the time he closed the door. Paloma smiled.
Diego/Berenice's apartment: Barbara went to pick up
Berenice at her apartment. Berenice told her tht Diego
will be outstation for a few days, today he'll be in
Lazaro Cardenas and the next day he'll be in Manzanilo.
Barbara said this was good coz, Elena Olivares had
returned for work and Diego was far away. Barbara said
now Berenice making her feel in doubt again. She didn't
know how to make Dona Ines trust in her. Barbara said
she must find a hard evidence if she wanted Dona Ines
to be on her side.
Lazaro Cardenas: Diego was there looking around the
port full of coffee sacks.
Manzanilo: Paloma had just arrived.
Lazaro Cardenas. Diego asked when the cargo will leave,
the guy there said tomorrow.
Manzanilo: Paloma/Elena introduced herself. Not far
from her Rafael was on the phone with Fabian. He told
Fabian not to worry. Later he turned and saw Elena, he
quickly told Fabian tht he had to hang up now. He told
the guy tht Elena was there on behalf of El Cafetalero.
He told the guy not to say anything about him being
there. He quickly ran away.
lazaro Cardenas: Diego called Soledad and asked about
Paloma. She told him tht Paloma didn't get the return
ticket, so she had to stay in Manzanillo for the night.
Diego asked for her hotel phone number and Soledad
gladly gave to him.
Fabian/Barbara's house: Fabian told his wife tht Elena
was seen in the port store in Manzanillo. She asked if
Elena was with Diego. Fabian was getting tired of
Barbara kept stabbing in the dark about Diego being
with Elena. He said he told her tht Diego was in Larzo
Cardenas. They were teaming up to get back to him. He's
worried, he didn't want Barbara to stirr things up and
looking for stories to make Berenice suffer. Barbara
said she had no intentions to do such things coz now
BErenice is far away from civilization, she's in
isolation. Then Barbara left. Fabian quietly said to
himself, he'll be glad if Barbara in isolation too, he
can't was to get away from her.
Manzanillo. Paloma went to her hotel room. The girl at
the counter said there's no message for her. Later she
was walking by the beach enjoying the seaside. She took
a stick and started writing Diego's name on the sand.
later Diego approached her and she was surprised to see
him. They hugged, i mean almost hugged. They were happy
to see each other.
Outside: Berenice and Miguel were at some other beach together.
Fabian/Berenice's apartment: Fabian was having trouble
getting coffee to cover the amount stated in the
certificates and he had to pay lots of money to get
them. Barbara was thinking if Diego went to Manzanillo
straight from Larzo Cardenas to meet Elena coz Graciela
told her tht Diego booked a hotel room in Manzanillo.
Fabian yelled tht she should shut up and stop making
theories about Elena and Diego coz Diego would surely
go to Veracruz in order to act fast in searching for
the truth (gosh i had to use the word 'search for the
truth' **sigh** i missed x-files). Later the phone
rang. Fabian took the phone from Barbara n spoke to
Rafael who told him tht Elena found nothing in
Mazanillo. Fabian told him to act fast and settle their
problems in Veracruz coz he believe tht Diego would be
there early tomorrow morning. Barbara tried to make
Fabian asked Rafael if Diego were in the same hotel as
Elena. Fabian yelled at her to stop bother him while
he's on the phone. She kept interrupting him but he
told her to shut up and don't ask questions anymore,
she kept pushing him and he yelled to Rafael to find
out if Diego and Elena live in the same hotel, if they
share the bathroom, if they share the same dream, if
they do everything together coz he's wife is driving
him crazy, then he angrily hang up and turned to
Barbara who smirked. He asked if she's satisfied, she
skidded a little and said "Gracias mi amor." He turned
to her and said she's crazy (Then he poked his tongue
like a little boy and a little girl having an argument.) Barbara
laughed and puffed her cigarrette while watching him
walk away.
Manzanillo: Diego told Paloma tht he'll do anything to
be with her. He said he and Berenice were friends and
Berneice agreed with his conditions before their
marriage but af she kenw about 'Paloma' she started to
torment him and worried tht he was running after
Paloma. Paloma said Berneice said his wife seemed happy
after he agreed to stay in the city. Diego said but now
she's jealous of Elena Olivares. He told her how afraid
he was of losing her. She asked why was he still with
his wife, he said he's afraid of being alone. He said
he had to go back to her coz he thought they can have
the relationship they agreed on. She asked if he loved
his wife, he said he loved Paloma, Berenice was just a
friend he like being with, and tht made him felt
guilty, Berneice had been a nice woman.
Outside: Miguel was swimming. Berenice said she told
the truth to her husband tht she'll be with a friend at
a farmhouse. Later they were 'intimate.'
Manzanilo: Diego explained to paloma tht why he
returned to Berenice. paloma said she dindn't
understand him, why return to someone he didnt love.
Dieog felt Berenice locked him and now he can feel tht
he was forgetting his wife. They wish they lived
together until they're 80 and had lots and lots of
grandchildren. They kissed and exchanged love remarks.
Fabian/Barbara's house: Fabian told Barbara tht he had
bad news coz Elena checked in alone in the hotel.
Night..
Manzanilo: He asked why she accepted working in El
Cafetalero. Seh said she was atrracted to an article
she saw in a magazine about Fabian, how he need good
Secretary. She did wish she finally meet him coz she
hadn't heard from him for a long time. She learnt tht
he lived happily with his wife in Casablanca. Diego
said he was waiting for Paloma. She admitted when she
saw him she wanted to ran away and didn't want him to
find her. He said he never thought the most hated Elena
Olivares was also Paloma. She asked if she was tht bad?
He said yes, by reputation. He asked how she get the
name Elena Olivares. Who was Elena Olivares. She tried
not to explain coz it's not one of her best experience.
Diego wanted to know wht happen to her. She put her
head on his shoulder and told him about the fake
pasport made for her so tht she can go to Europe. She
was lied to and she had been living with tht name in
Europe. She get to work in Europe using tht name. When
she was in Mexico city, she realised she can just throw
tht identity. Teresa Suarez or Paloma didn't exist
anymore. They hugged, he kissed her forehead. He said
Paloma still existed and she's with him, Teresa Suarez,
'my Paloma'. She admitted she's the same person. He
said she can't change anything coz she's always be
Paloma and even the sea was whispering her name.
somewhere: Miguel were in bed with Berenice. She was
in deep thought, Miguel asked for her to go for a walk
with him but she refused because she wanted to be
alone. Miguel said he didn't mean to trouble her but
now he's short of cash and need some money for now. He
promised to pay her back. She told him to take wht ever
amount he wanted. He went to get her purse and took out some money.
Manzanilo: Paloma and Diego were still walking by the
beach. Diego pulled her to approach a group of people
dancing round the fire. They joined the dancing and
jumped around the fire. They joked around, danced
together and kissed.
Time lapsed.. They were alone by the fire. He wanted to
be there with her until they turned 80, after tht
they'll go back. Diego said ask the Manager, he ordered
her to be there forever. She said she didn't have to
obey him coz it's after office hour. He pulled of his
coat and put it o ner. He said he's responsible for her
24-hours and no one can separate them. MOre snuggling
and kissing. She asked if he'd fire her if she refused
to follow orders. He said he'll sue her. She said no
matter wht the punishment she got, she will survive,
but there's work they must complete. Paloma said if
they find nothing in Larzo Carnesa and Manzanillo she
believe they will find nothing in Veracruz too. He
wanted her to call her travel agency and tell them tht
she'll be staying there until new year, coz they had
work to go.
morning/Manzanilo: Diego told her tht he left his
luggage at the receptionist. She asked if he booked a
room there, he said no, he's not tht stupid. She asked
where he would sleep, he said the seaside seemed
comfortable, she told him to stop joking. He believe
tht she had to sleep for the rest of the day to rest.
They stood close together facing the seaside. He asked
if there's any other men in her life other than him.
She asked if tht's important. He apologized. Paloma
said she can't be with anyone else because he took her
life tht night. She still the sketch of them both, with
their names, she never able to wipe tht from her
momories. She said she loved him tht's why she need
him, she wanted him to swear tobe with her. He swore
tht he'll be with her forever.
El Cafetalero: Graciela told Fabian tht she got lots of
calls for Diego and Elena tht's why she had to call
Fabian. Fabian came with Barbara. Barbara asked where
Diego was staying in Larzo Cardenas. Graciela worried
she might lose her job, Barbara guaranteed she'll risk
nothing, so Graciela started making a call.
Manzanilo: Diego and Paloma were in asleep in the hotel room.
Paloma's apartment: Soledad was worried Paloma hadn't
returned. Jean Carlo was there acompanying her,
listening to her grumbling. He proposed they continue
playing the board game.
manzanilo/hotel: Paloma brought juice for Deigo and
roused him from his sleep. Paloma said it's time for
them to call Mexico City. Diego said tht was risky coz
everybody will know they were together. HE didn't like
her being too responsible. Paloma said his family will
kill her if they knew wht's going on btween them. Diego
gave her a piece of paper so she can write a telegram.
Diego pulled her in his arms. He said Diego Sanchez was
trapped in Elena Olivares' arms and he won't get back.

El Cafetalero: Fabian told Graciela to call Bernando.
Barbara returned complaining Diego wasn't in any hotel
room. Later Graciela told Fabian tht Diego was on the
phone, she begged tht he told Diego nothing. Fabian
asked where's Diego now, Diego said he was at work. He
asked where's Elena. He said she was on the way back to
the city. Paloma shook her head, he gave her a kiss and
told Fabian he'll visit the next port soon. Fabian
asked if everything ok. Diego touched Paloma's knees
and said, fine everything were fine. Dieog told him tht
he wanted to take a holiday. Fabian asked if Elena
returning tomorrow, Diego said before going back, Elena
did complained about her vacation. (Paloma slapped his
leg). Diego said he had nothing to say more so he hang up.
Manzanillo/hotel: Diego wished tht Graciela revealed
nothing coz if someone start digging, their secrets
will be revealed.
El Cafetalero: Barbara snapped shut Fabian's laptop and
almost got his little finger. He pushed her out of the office.
Outside: Miguel went out for lunch with Berneice. He
ordered the most expensive wine. He told her about a
restaurant with great fresh food. She pulled her hand
from his grasp and asked wht was his work. He said he's
a Public relation officer.
manzanilo: Diego and Paloma were on a boat together.
snuggling kissing.
Later they were at the beach. She asked about his
future. He said he wanted to live with her in a small
house by the sea until they can go away fromthis. Diego
confirmed she's now on vacation and as the boss, he
granted her application for a vacation. He wanted them
to forget everything and enjoy wht they can in this
fantasy island. Paloma was afraid coz he's too serious.
Diego said she can call her mom and send her tickets so
she can get here too. Paloma said she can change her
life to be with him. She admitted she loved him but the
little dream hosue was too much for them coz they had
to wait, she didn't have the answer but this things
must be discussed throughly especially when it involved
his wife and his family. Diego said tht didn't matter
as long as they love each other. He kissed her. She
said this might end with him felling regret. Diego said
if she decided to leave tomorrow, his boat will arrive
in 4 or 5 years after tht. He said she can live inthe
small house with him and her mom. He said no need to
rush, she had until tomorrow to think. He kissed her
and left her so tht she can start thinking.
Paloma rubbed her forehead and watched the sea.
Outside: Miguel was telling Berenice about how big his
office was and how fun and peace his life was. She
asked why didn't he work for a travelling agency.
Miguel said he felt better working with people and have
fun while he can. Berenice said he seemed an expert in
this business. He touched her hand and kissed it. He
said he booked a yacht for them coz he knew a captain.
She asked how much he spent on tht. He told her not to
worry coz he'll pay back her money. He kissed her and
said forget tht problem and just think about the
funthey will have. He had a great romantic night for
them tonight.
El Cafetalero: Graciela was still checking about the
hotel and still found nothing. Barbara asked if she
knew anyone in Larzo Dardenas. Graciela said yes.
Barbara wanted her to make sure tht the person she knew
will keep an eye on Elena's every movement.
later Rafael returned and went to give a present to
Graciela who was speechless. She pulled out a beaded
chain. Her eyes widened. He kissed her hand and their
nose touched. Fabian broke the silence and they quickly
turned away. Fabian smiled and told Graciela to call
his house in Miami.
Fabian asked for explanation from Perez, he said
everything had been settled. Perez handled everyhting.
all the council will see was big sackes shipped as
stated in the certificate. Fabian wanted to know if
Diego was in Manzanillo, Larzo Carides or Veracruz.
Fabian said Barbara think Diego might be with Elena.
Rafael Perez can't confirm tht.
manzanilo: Paloma was by the seaside alone, yelling
Diego's name.
Dona Ines' house: Barbara told Diana and Dona Ines tht
both Diego and Elena weren't intheir hotel room. She's
sure tht they were living together now and in hideout.
Diana suggested she meet a psychatrist or write a
telenovela. Dona Ines agreed tht she had too much
imagination. Dona Ines said she's wrong and they knew
Diego. She said Barbara can't compare Fabian and Diego.
and she didn't want BArbara to make Berenice felt
worried. Barbara said she can keep her eyes closed and
ignore everything. Dona Ines said she didn't want to
hear anything from her. Barbara warned tht by the time
she heard the truth, everything will be too late. She
said she was concerned of Berenice, poor Berenice.
later she left.
Outside: Berenice was on the yacht with miguel. He pour
her champange drank together. He told him not to be too
lovey dovey. Miguel had plans until next week but
Berenice wanted to go back to Mexico next week. He
asked if she wanted to live alone in her little
apartment or be with him. They kissed. miguel suggest
tht she tell her husband to buy her a yacht. Miguel
said her husband can afford tht. Berenice said her
husband was the millionaire, not her.
Manzanilo: Paloma was sitting by the seaside, watching
the wave, the sea. She turned back, smiled and bit her
fingers when she saw Diego and three guitar men emerged
and Diego sang again. She put her hand to her forehead
and smiled. He mouthed 'i love u' during the music
bridge. Her smile widened. Later he continue singging.
Finally the song ended and she laughed and clapped. He
thanked the guitarmen. Paloma went to him and kissed
him, she admitted she loved the song. They kissed again
and she wish they can be there together.
Paloma's apartment: Jean Carlo and Soleadad were still
worried. Soledad wanted to go to El Cafetalero. but
JEan Carlo disagree coz Paloma might call them. She's
worried somthing bad might happened. JEan Carlo said
she will risk Paloma's identity if she went there.
Soledad held the phone and wish tht it rang, she was
too worried.
Manzanilo: Diego said tomorrow they will get Soledad to
stay with them and JOrge Latore will arrange his
divorce, he wanted to buy the house and the land by the
sea. Paloma warned tht he's making harsh decision.
Diego said he'll call his family and said he's a
retired coffee planters. Seh asked he didn't have to
explain? Diego said tht was easier and it's his
decision. She told him to sit and told him to look at
her. He said he's not going back. She asked why he was
afraid to return? was he worried with wht his family
would say? He said he'll admit to his family tht he
went out with Elena and Paloma. She said it will be bad
if he mentioned Elena, coz if he mentioned Paloma, it
will be safer. She wondered wht his family think of
Paloma. Diego said his family knew the truth about his
affair with Paloma. They even knew tht she was pregnant
with his son and she went to Europe looking for him.
She asked how they knew about tht. He said Berenice
checked everythign out. And some people said she went
to Europe coz she's pregnant and some people didn't
even believe tht she was pregnant. She closed her eyes
and asked wht he believe. He said he believe tht he
loved her. She was crying. And imagining tht scandal
they will create if they find tht Paloma and elena were
the same person and the shame they had to endure with
the rumours tht she used to be a prostitute. It will be
worse if they live together.
Manzanilo/Beach: Diego later told her about his
grandfather's mystrious will. Non of the wealth can be
sold only can be passed down to sons in the family,
either sons of him, Bernando or Fabian.
El Cafetalero: Fabian was on the way to the elevator
but his amante emerged and kissed him, he asked why she
left Miami, she said she missed him. They agree to go
some place quiet.
manzanilo/beach: Diego explained tht Fabian knew he can
get a son sooner than any of them coz Fabian knew
Bernando's way of life and Diego and Berenice didn't
even slept together. Paloma asked how he met Berenice.
Diego said Barbara and Fabian introduced her to him. He
admitted tht Berenice seemed like agood friend. She did
asked for him to make love to her but he refused.
Night..
Diego explained about Berenice, she used to think sex
wasn't important in marriage but later she wanted a
baby and worried tht Barbara and Fabian will get son
first, but later Barbara lost the baby and they worried
Paloma might return with Diego's son. His family wanted
to avoid Diego from meetin g Paloma again. Paloma said
if her mom listening to this, she will say this sounds
like a telenovela. She never thought tht one day she'll
become his family's nightmare. Diego said other than
tht she was also involved in a tragedy tht will destroy
their life. She asked why they were afraid of their
son. Diego said Barbara now can't get pregnant again
and tht was giving bad effect to Barbara and her
marriage to Fabian will end.
Fabian's/Barbara's house: Barbara put a pillow under
her shirt and touched it as if she's pregnant, later
she pulled it out and ripped it off. She sat by the bed
and kicked away the carpet. She was crying and worried.

Barbara/Fabian's house: Continue the part Barbara cried
by the bed.
Manzanilo/Beach: Diego was finishing his story about
Barbara, wht she had to go through. Fabian was
protecting him from elena. Barbara was scared the she
can't get pregnant before Diego and Elena end up like
Diego and Paloma. Paloma believe tht many people will
be prepared for her after this. Fabian will think of
something tht was unthinkable.
someplace else: Fabian was with his amante who came to
celebrate new year with him. They were in bed together.
Manzanilo/Beach: Paloma said they can't just dissapear
from El Cafetalero and his family. They need to discuss
lots of things even about Aurelio and the Hacienda.
It's for his own best interest. She said they must act
fast before anyone know about them and get Latore to
help them. Imgine the effect if he was divorce now. He
asked if it's about his family. Paloma worried they
can't control their feelings. Diego didn't understand
why she was too worried. She said family is a lifetime
relationship and it just can't end. He has sisters and
grandma to think about. She said she can't hate the
Sanchez Sambrano who help her ife a lot. He was kissing
her hands when she was talking. She felt bad if she
hurt the family. She said they will keep making his
family happy. She can't imagine wht will happen if
Barbara, Berenice or Diana knew about this. He asked if
there's anyone else knew tht she was Paloma? He swore
tht no one else know. Paloma said they had to return
tomorrow and start their new life.
someplace: Migeul was sleeping outside. Berenice was
ready to go back. She didn't want him to accompany her
to the airport. She gave Miguel some money because he
ran out of cash. He promised to give back her money. He
told her tht he loved her. She smirked.
Manzanilo: Diego and Paloma were at the beach. He
carried her from the water to their picnic place. She
offered him mangoes. He wondered if they can't take the
last plane. Paloma said it would be dangerous for them
to arrive together. He didn't think going back is a
good idea but he had to agree with Paloma. He asked if
she remembered the last time they drank at the bar when
he told her he didnt want to go back to London, she
admitted she remembered tht but promised this one won't
be the same.
Diego/Berenice's apartment: Berenice returned. (the
chrismas tree was still blinking). She picked her bag
and went to the bedroom.
later she called Graciela. She told her tht Diego
hadn't returned, he only made one phonecall. Graciela
told her tht Elena was gone too. She was in manzanillo.
Graciela told her to check with Barbara who was
intersted in the news. Berenice believe tht Diego was
with Elena.
MAnzanillo: Diego and Paloma were walking by the sea.
Paloma felt as if they were saying goodbye. They
promised to be wait for each other after their problems
settled. They exchanged love remarks.
Diego/Berenice's apartment: Barbara told Berenice about
her theory. She told how Dona Ines reacted to her
story. Berenice said it was just a story tht she came
up with, they don't have evidence. She told Berenice to
throw away her guilt feeling and be a loser before even
fighting. She knew Berenice wanted to avoid a fight
during the new year dinner.
Paloma's apartment: Soledad was watching tv. Paloma
returned and called for her mom. Soeldad was worried
and hugged her. She told Soledad to guess wht happen.
Soledad was too engrossed with the telenovela. Paloma
called her mama, and then called her Soledad. She
turned her head when Paloma said tht she'll be living
with Diego. She was serious. But they agree to live
together after they settle their problems and Soledad
will follow them to Mananillo. Soeldad cried and glad
Paloma will take her together and won't leave her
alone. Paloma said she never seen diego like tht.
Soledad wanted to know everything. She went to clean up
while Soledad prepare something to drink. Later the
phone rang. Soledad was busy munching on pop corns and
her eyes were on the telenovela. She picked up the
phone, it was Berenice.
BErenice/Diego's apartment: Barbara said tht mean Diego
will be back soon.
Paloma's apartment: Paloma asked if Soledad recognised
the voice, she said no. The phone had been ringing for
days, her friend was looking for her.
Soledad said the telenovela was on it's last episode.
She said the hero was like Diego, rich and handsome.
They both sighed watching the romantic telenovela. And
later there was a gunshot, Soledad was surprised and
wondered if the hero died. Paloma told her to switch
off the tv, she can't bear to watch the ending.
Dona Ines house: Bernice and Barbara went to see Dona
Ines, She hope Diego won't be late. She warned Barbara
not to ruin the night with her mouth. Diana praised
Berenice and asked if she had good weekend. Diana told
Berenice not to trust Barbara coz she had been telling
theories about Elena being with diego. Berenice said
she trust diego and will always be patient with her
husband. Diana was happy to hear tht.
Fabian hadn't arrive. They hope he will arrive soon and
hope nothing bad will happen tonight. Barbara said
she's not in trouble anymore with Fabian coz someone
else's husband was in trouble. Berenice eyed her.
Outside/inside his car: Fabian was kissing his amante.
Paloma's apartment: Jean Carlo came up with great
Italian food. Paloma told Soledad they had to settle
everything at the company before leaving. Soledad hope
his family will understand they were meant to be
together and can't be separated. Paloma said his family
will never apologize him if he divorce berenice
especially to run away with Elena Olivares or Paloma.
Soledad said she's happy but she worried with wht
they'll face in the future. Paloma asked if she
remembered how they had to go trhough rough times
during their first time in Mexico city. Soledad looked
at Jean Carlo and now Paloma understand tht her mom was
sad to leave Jean Carlo.
Paloma pulled Soledad to come to the kitchen. Jean
Carlo wished them new year and drank some win. Jean
Carlo wanted to sing but Paloma asked him if he'd like
to come with them to a peaceful home by the sea, he
said he'll answer tht after dinner. He had been

Later the phone rang. It was Diana. Diana told her tht

Paloma/Elena said she wans't sure, she heard tht he
will take the last flight. (jean Carlo was opening the
door for Diego) Elena/Paloma saw him and quickly end
the call, she pushed away Diego's face who tried to
kiss herDiego pulled her into his arms and she tried to
break free and cried for Jean carlo to help her. She
finally agree to go out with him.
Dona Ines house: Later Fabian arrived and Dona Ines was
glad to see him. He greeted everyone. Angela told him
his wife has been behaving herself. Fabian told his mom
tht he'll be divorce in the middle of July. Later
Fabian was with Barbara, she asked where did he go tht
coz him to be late, he jokingly said he was with Elena
Olivares, Barbara didn't think tht was funny at all.
Diego arrived and asked where's Daniela. Dona Ines
toldhim to try talk to Daniel, she's worried about
Daniela and her black boyfriend who always come back
home late. Later Jose Francisco called Diego to join
the guys. Juan Francisco asked wht he was checking in

checking Fabian's merchandise. Bernando shot a panic

Paloma's apartment: Paloma was trying to calm down her
mom who was crying. Paloma said she didn't need to cry
coz their life changed. She asked if she was crying
because of Jean Carlo, she said no. Paloma asked if she

Carlo was always polite with her and she can't be in

Margarita. Soledad and Jean Carlo exchange new year's
wishes. Jean carlo admitted he already missed Soledad

back soon. They hugged.
Dona Ines house: Daniela and her boyfriend were eating
grapes for 12 months in a year. She asked if he's
wearing red underwear. LAter they went to get their
bag. Diego asked to talk to Daniela. Daniela realised
her brother's face was glowing and he was tanned. He
told her tht their family told him to tlk to her.
Daniela laughed and said you? scold me? She asked if
it's about Harold. Diego said Daniel should try to obey
Dona Ines a little, Daniel said she'll try to take care
of grandma's as long as he take care of their grandma's
heart too. They hugged and Diego whispered to her
"guess who i spend the vacation with?" Daniela's eyes
widenned, full with happiness especially after Diego

Dona Ines house: Daniela asked if he going to comment
about Harold? Diego said he just wanted her to respect
Dona Ines. She said she do tht if he do tht too. They
hugged and Diego whispered to her to guess who he spent
the holidays with. She gaped when he said they will
elope, he asked when? where? HE said as soon as they
find someone to take care of El Cafetalero. Daniela
can't wait to see Barbara's and Berenice's face if
their discover this. Diego said he's gonna make sure no
one will uncover this. He told her to go and find her
boyfriend. She turned and said her brother was her
greatest hero. Berneice were eyeing them.
Paloma's apartment: Paloma wished Jean Carlo goodbye
and kissed him. He turned to Soledad and kissed her
hands, asking her to take good care of Paloma. He sang
and walked out of the door. Soledad ws still crying.
Paloma understand tht her mom was lonely again. Soledad
asked if she should follow her and Diego? Paloma said
yes. Soledad excuse herself but Plaoma wanted her to
answer when was the last time she inlove. Soledad said
tht was long time ago and she didn't even remember anymore.
Dona Ines house: Dona Ines gave her speech and pray for
souls of her lost children. She wished everyone good
luck in the family. He mentioned each and everyone of
her child and grandchild and in laws. She praised her
great granddaughters being there in her house. She
hope she will live long enough to witness their love to
each other. Berenice added tht may nothing separate
them. Dona ines mention don Lorenzo before sipping her champange.
Paloma's apartment: Soledad was crying. She lit up a
candle and said "another year passed without you."
Morning...
Paloma's apartment; Soledad hugged the bottle of wine
and cried again. Later the phone rang. She stopped the
cassete player (which was playing a loud song) It was
Diego asking to speak to Paloma. Paloma ran to the
phone, losing her breath. Diego said Berneice wasn't
there so he calle dher from the house. (the maid was
cleaning the table nearby.) Diego wanted to meet him
but she said they made a promised. Later someone
knocked on the door, he said he loved her and hang up.
It was Latore. He asked if he found anything at the
ports, Diego said their assumptions was wrong, he said
he called Latore to help him divorce Berneice.
Outside: Berenice went to meet her parents at a
restaurant. Berneice asked her dad how long can she be
with Diego. SHe wanted to make sure Diego had to pay a
high price if they ever divorce.
Diego/Berenice's apartment: Diego admitted he knew
Latore very long and was good friend of his dad. He
wanted the divorce proces be discreet. LAtore asked wht
was going on. Diego said he need his trust. He said he
knew Latore kept his granpa secrets and hope he can
keep his secrets too.
Paloma's apartment: Soledad was babbling about thier
debts. Paloma said she knew wht to do. Soledad asked if
Diego woing to pay for them? Paloma said she'll handle
everything herself. She'll keep working eventhough
she'll be with Diego. Soledad wondered when diego will
marry Paloma. Paloma said the divorce process will take time.
Diego/Berenice's apartment: Latore said it'll take
about a year. Latore asked if there's another woman.
Diego said he just want to live in peace but he had to
think about his sisters. Diego wanted to take
precautions from Berenice. Latore said Berenice might
seem harmless but she might get good advice and learnt
about her rights. Latore asked if they have children?
Diego said he never slept with his wife. Diego would do
anything as long as this didn't involve his family's
wealth. He need to find a successor, a Sanches
Sambrano. Later Berneice returned. Latore greeted her
and excused himself.

plane. Fabian was tired of her trying to dig this. HE
said he won't back her up again. He's leaving and said

would be with Diego. Barbara rolled her eyes.
Diego/Berenice's apartment: Diego wanted to go to Dona
Ines' house and talk to Daniela. Berenice wanted to
follow him coz she wanted to talk to Diana. He openned
the door, and Diana and Dona Ines were at the door. He
welcomed them. They were there to ask him and Berenice
to join them to the church for a prayer. Berneice was
glad tht Diego's plan was interrupted and offered to
get his coat.
Paloma's apartment: Paloma was worried waiting for
Diego who hadn't arrive. She asked her mom to leave
togehter, go somewhere, she cn't just want at hom.
Soledad told her to be calm, Paloma felt time had been
frozen. She went to get her sweater and called her mom
to hurry up. They left together.
Church: Diana, Ines, Berneice and Diego entered. They
sat at a bench and started praying.
Outside: Paloma was enchanted by wedding gowns at the
display of a boutique. SOledad was not really there.
Bedroom/somewhere: Fabian's amante said maybe Fabian
still love his wife.
Fbian/Barbara's apartmnt: Barbara was checking on the
time of a flight from Alculpolco to Mexico city and she
was told she can get the names of the passangers by tomorrow.
Paloma's apartment: Paloma was singging her song and
Soledad was happy to hear her singing again. She tried
on her new dress and Soledad asked if she had a date
coz her hair was beautiful too. Paloma said she didn't
want to let Diego down. Soledad asked to follow her to
ffice coz she used to go out a lot when Jean Carlo was
there. Paloma said she cn't do tht eventhough Soledad
promised not to bother her at work. Paloma worried
someone might recognise Soledad. Soledad said she can
wait in the car until she return. Paloma told her to
stay home and don't be sad and a new Telenovela will
start to day and Soledad agree to watch tht telenovela.
She left and said she'll call her.
Barbara/Fabian's house: Barbara pour Fabian something
to drink. Fabian told her tht he'll go back to Miami
and Barbara didn't have to follow him. Barbara said
she'll stay coz she had a lot to do.
El Cafetalero: Margarita was entertaining someone on
the phone. Later Paloma/Elena arrived. Margarita
guessed tht this year will be great for Elena. There
some flowers for her. Margarita told her tht Diego
wanted to see her. She pulled a flower and sang all the
way to Diego's office. Graciela eyed her like a hawk.
Diego's office; She entered and Diego said he can't
imagine his life without her. He wanted to kiss her but
she refused coz they're at the office. Later he got his
fast kiss. He asked for another one, a real kiss.
Paloma heard Graciela coming (they devolep a super
hearing ability nowadays.) and quickly sat on their
respective chairs act normal. As always Graciela
whosshhh open the door without knock. Diego struk a
pose and asked wht she wanted. Graciela said he had to
sign some papers on from the travelling agency and
invoice for the class to train coffee tasters. Diego
scribbled his signatures and Paloma was covering her
mouth. Before leaving Graciela watched Paloma closely
even before closing the door. After she dissapeared,
both Diego and Paloma broke into a laugh. Paloma said
see? tht's why they had to becareful, and now all her
lipstic was gone and he had some on his lips. He
laughed again. He told her not to worry anything coz
their new manager will handle everything after their
problems solved. She asked if they got a successor?
Diego said Latore will help find one tht match Don
Lorenzo's will. He began to kiss her again and they
broke the kiss right before Latore entered.
Paloma/ELena left them. Latore told Diego tht he got
some news.
Paloma/Elena hummed her song and walked away with the
rose in her hand. Graciela shook her head and lowered
her spectacles.
Diego's office: Latore told him tht he consulted with
some of his friends and he said Diego can simple call
off the marriage coz he never touched his wife and his
marriage was nevery happy tht was more than enough to
end the marriage. Diego smiled and happy to hear tht
the divorce didn't even have to go through court. Later
Latore pulled out the plan for the land Diego wanted to
buy in Manzinilo. later he susggested Elena Olivares as
his sucessor, he smiled and said forget about tht idea
coz his family will never agree. They left Diego's
office and Diego thanked him.
Paloma/elena's office: Diego went to see Paloma and
told her tht Latore said he can simply cancel the
wedding because berenice had to accept tht the only
thing can stop this is a son in their marriage. Paloma
told him not to start again and stop moving coz people
can see them from outside.
Barbara/Fabian's house: Barbara was on the phone about
the flight to mexico city from alcopulco on 31st
Disember. They require barbara to send a letter.
Berenice/Diego's apartment: The doctor called Berenice
and asked if she's interested in the treatment.
Berenice said she was away on a vcation. The doctor
said she can undrego the process. Berenice smiled and
looked away.

Diego's office: Paloma said she need to work to settle
her debts. She didn't want to live on his money, she
wanted to find her own job, she wanted to marry him,
not have him pay for his life. He agreed to whtever her
wish. He hope she'll arrange their getway from home.
Diego hope Bernando will agree to take over his
position, if not, someone from the grave will go amok.
Later Graciela barged in. Diego warned her again not to
just barge in like tht. Graciela said there's an
important call from the hacienda. Diego told her to
leave. Paloma quickly point her finger towards Diego
and said see? see? they had to becareful. Diego
mockingly curled his lips as if kissing. and laughed.
Graciela saw Rafael coming and she quickly picked her
phone pretending to be busy, He came and kissed
Graciela's neck. He asked wht latore discussed with
Diego, Graciela didn't know much. Later the quickly
stop coz Barbara came and wanted to see Rafael alone.
He said he'll wait for her in his office. Barbara asked
Graciela if there's has been anything hapenning.
Graciela shook her head.
Diego's office: Paloma said they cn't be alone in the
office anymore. She said she's going to leave the
documents for him on his desk and leave. He asked if
she's just going to leave him like tht? She ran to him
and give him a very quick kiss and ran out before he
can grab her again.
Graciela and Barbara stunned to see her came out of the
office so suddenly. She gather herself and told
Graciela she'll be in her office. Elena wiped her smile
when she saw Barbara and quickly walk to her office.
Graciela told Barbara "It was so obvious." Barbara
agreed 100%.
Hacienda: Jeremy was tasting coffee, later Aurelio
came and gave him the phone, it was Diego. Diego asked
if he was ready for the course coz the candidates will
arrive this afternoon. He said he tried to call diego
last week but he was gone, he asked if tht has to do
with Paloma, Diego hushed him and told him not to say
tht name.
Jeremy was excited to start the course for coffee tasters.
El cafetalero/Rafael Pere's office: Barbara asked
Rafael to prepare the letter tht she wanted to send to
the airlines so tht she can get the list of names of
passangers. Barbara wanted him to kept this a secret.

El Cafetalero: Rafael Perez told Barbara tht she'll get
the list of passangers by tht afternoon. Later Barbara left.
Diego came out of his office and Graciela called after
him handing him some invitations. Barbara went to see
him. Dieog asked wht was she doing there, Barabara said
she was just looking for Fabian (whom didn't come to
work tht day). Diego was a bit suspicious coz Barbara
had just walked out of Rafael's office, he told tht to
Paloma. He showed her the invitations for them. Paloma
was a bit in disagreement, he begged her to come with
him to a theatre. She finally agreed but wanted him to
promise tht he'll send her home after the show. She
asked wht would he say to his wife?
Fabian went to his lawyer who told him to sign a
document and wht he wanted will be settled very soon,
his wife will get the divorce notice on the 20th or
21st of January. Fabian gave it a thought and later
scribbled his signature.
Berneice/Diego's apartment: Berenice openned the door
for Miguel. She wasn't glad to see him. She asked if he
wanted to pay the money he owed her. He said no, he'll
write a cheque for her soon. She clearly told him tht
she didn't like him being there and told him to leave.
He proposed tht they take a bath together, he ignored
her protests and he kept seducing her. She tried to
push away but she seemed to enjoy being with Miguel.
She followed him to his room as if she was hypnotised.
Fabian/Barbara's house: Fabian told Barbara tht he'll
be back on the 20th of January. Later she received a
call from Rafael who told her tht on 31st of December,
Diego's name wasn't in the list of passanger from
Alcolpulco to Mexico city but he was on the flight from
Manzanilo to Mexico city. She was satisfied coz her
theory was true.
Don Manuel's hacienda: Don Manuel and Jeremy were
talking while Matilde serve them. Jeremy told him tht 7
students will come to see him for the coffee tasting
course. There will only be one girl. Don Manuel said
Jeremy will make more money if he do tht service with
other business men. Later Don Manuel called Matilde and
said after they paid their debts, he'll buy Matilde a
new car, some new clothes. Jeremy was uncomfortable and
Matilde was ready to cry. She ran away and Jeremy came
to calm her down. She pulled out a gun, Jeremy wanted
to run away with her and didn't want Don Manuel to
touch her again. Matilde said she'll never leave this
place. Matilde hand him the gun and told him to finish
Don manuel or think of something else to get Don Manuel
out of her life. She hope it will be done in two weeks.
She left and Jeremy took the gun and pulled out the
bullets clip.
El Cafetalero: Rafael went to wish goodbye to Diego.
Diego asked if he were leaving, Rafael said he had a
list to study. Later he left. Then Paloma exited her
office and Diego asked "What did you do this time?" she
asked why? He said she looked more beautiful than
earlier tht day. Diego told his wife tht he'll be home
late. Diego was so happy going to the theatre with her,
he lifted her into his arms and carried her to the elevator.
Theatre opera show: Diego and Paloma was enjoying the
show. They both liked it.
Berneice's/Diego's apartment/corridor: Berneice
smoothed her crumpled clothes and went to her
apartment. Miguel asked why was she leaving, she said
she didn't want him to bother her coz she's married and
her marriage is important for her. Miguel asked if she
knew wht she's talking? He promise not to bother her
but wanted her to think the consequences tht she will
never see him again. She calmly said goodbye and he
left. Later the phone rang. Berenice said she'll be
there soon.
Theatre: Paloma was asleep on Diego's shoulder and
Diego was smiling watching the opera show.
Diego/Berenice's apartment: Miguel went to see Arturo
at the counter, later Berenice walked down and she was
surprised to see Mieguel there. She left and Arturo
told Miguel tht the landlord was back (his name was
Juan Carlos). Miguel seemed uncomfortable coz Juan
Carlos thought he already got his own house. Later
Diana came looking for Berenice but Arturo told her tht
Berneice left. Miguel took the chance to try be nice
with Diana. He tried to impress her with his experience
in beautiful countries, she wasn't impressed at all coz
she had been to those places, later she left.
Opera Theatre: Diego roused Paloma from her sleep. She
finally woke up and couldn't believe tht she fall
asleep eventhough the singer was yelling from the top
of her lungs. Diego laughed. He asked wht was she
dreaming of, she said she dreamt of him. Paloma said he
should buy her the CD of this song because this will
help her sleep. Diego laughed harder, he stood and
applause with the crowd yelling "Bravo!" Paloma joined him.
Outside Diego/Berenice's apartment: Diana's car broke
down and Miguel offered help, he wanted to send her
home and didn't want her to take a cab. He called
Arturo to look at Diana's car. He told Arturo tht he'll
be using Juan Carlos' car.
Restaurant: Berneice went to see her parents. They were
discussing about an investment tht will profit their
family and hope they won't fail again. Berneice asked
wht she had to do. Her father said she must try to
convince Diego to be their guarantor. She said she will
try to talk to diego to night.
Outside: Diego was mocking the opera singer but Paloma
told him to stop singing and stop tormenting her with
the disturbing voice. He wanted to spend more time with
her but she reminded her tht she need to go back home
early. Diego said no coz he's hungry. Paloma just
wanted to take something light coz she wasnt tht
hungry, she suggest they went to get Taco near her house.
Restaurant: Berenice checked home if Diego returned, he
hadn't return. Berenice then called Paloma's house and
Soledad told her tht Elena wasn't home. She had strong
suspicious tht Diego and Elena were together now.
Outside Dona Ines' house: Miguel sent Diana home. He
asked if she live there alone, she said she lived there
with her sister and grandma. Miguel took her name and
phone number and said he'll inform her about her car.
He also wanted to take her out for dinner at a great
restaurant where they can see the city under their
feet. He asked if she was engaged or in a relationship?
she said no. He asked if she was heartbroken, she
didn't answer.
Don Manuel's hacienda: Jeremy tried not to listen to
Matilde's scream, she was crying telling her uncle not
to hurt her.
Outside: Miguel openned the door for Diana. He asked
when he can call her, she said whenever he wanted to.
She thanked him for sending her home. He asked if she's
going to give him a thank you kiss. She kissed his
cheek and walked away.
Paloma's apartment: Paloma returned and Soledad was
already asleep. She turned off the tv and put the food
ont he table. Soledad woke up and Paloma said it's
already passed midnight. She gave her mom the food and
told her about the great night she spent with Diego at
the theatre. Paloma said soon she'll get her salary and
they can pay their debts. They will move soon and
Soledad asked if they going to bring along their TV.
She cried in happiness when heard tht they will return
to Hacienda Casablanca, she missed tht place so much.
Paloma told her not to stop dreaming coz one day it
might come true. Soledad thanked her daughter. Paloma
told her to stop crying.
Diego's office: Diego told hernandez to make the last
cheque for Elena Olivares and told him to keep this a
secret. He reasoned tht he wanted to sack all
executives who had doubts in him, starting with Elena Olivares.
Paloma came in and Hernandez went out. Diego told her
wht hetold Hernandez to do, he didn't want anyone to
suspect them being together. She told him tht all
transfer of power management will be settled by 5
o'clock today. Diego called Graciela and told her to
arrange for an extra ordinary meeting tomorrow and all
his family must attend. Graciela exited and Diego told
Paloma tht tomorrow he'll leave everything and he'll
talk to Berenice tonight. They hugged.
Diego/Berenice's apartment: Berenice checked the
documents brought by her parents, she asked where Diego
should sign. Her mom asked did she talked to Diego, she
said no, and promised to talk to him tonight. She
prefer to talk to him alone and didn't want her parents
to be there with her.

Diego's office: Fabian came rushing into Diego's office
and hugged him. He wanted to talk about the contract.
Diego told him tht tomorrow tht will an extraordinary
meeting. There's nothing Fabian should worry, he asked
Fabian not to bring Barbara. He wanted the meeting to
be among family only. No heart feelings coz he didn't
light Barbara's behaviour. Fabian apologize on her
behalf. He said she's been acting wierd since her
pregnancy. Fabian hugged him goodbye and said they'll
meet tomorrow.
Graciela was calling Sanchez Sambrano family for the
meeting. Fabian asked her where was Rafael.
Fabian/Barbara's house: Barbara suspected tht Diego
must be planning something and she must stop it. She
was angry and walked out the house. Fabian was worried.
El Cafetalero: Graciela went to give something to
Hernandez and she saw Elena's documents. Hernandez told

compensate. Graciela raised her eyebrows and smiled.
Graciela ran to her desk and picked up the phone. It

Graciela he's busy preparing for an extraordinary

Diego's office: Berenice asked if he was busy, coz she
wanted to talk to her tonight. He said he'll be home by
seven. Berenice proposed tht they eat outside, Diego
agreed coz he had something to talk to her too.
Diego/Berenice's apartment: Berenice's parents thanked
her and excuse themselves. Berenice was feeling wierd
as if something bad will happen.
Barbara came to visit Berenice. Barbara asked her to
sit. Berenice was worried, BArara said she's serious,
if Berenice think she's crazy, she would leave. She
told Berenice about the extraordinary meeting where
Barbara and Berneice weren't invited. She told her tht
Diego was not in the passanger flight list from
Alculpulco to Mexico city coz he was on the plane from
Manzanilo to Mexico city, tht means he was with Elena.
Barbara said they must prove this very soon, before the meting.
Barbara called Graciela and asked if Rafael was in, she
said no, then she asked about the meeting, graciela
didn't say much. Then she told Barbara tht Diego asked
Hernandez to prepare Elena's last cheque. Berneice
smiled and said maybe finally Diego wanted to fire
Elena. Barbara told her not to be too happy coz it
might meants something else.
Diego's office: Jorge came to tell Diego tht his papers
was ready to buy the land in Manzanillo. Diego was glad
tht it was handled so quickly. Jorge said he can

Elena's office: He told Paloma tht he's going with
Jorge. She agreed to arrange their tickets. He asked if

Diego left and Barbara and Berenice arrived. MArgarita

left. Barabara said they'll wait in his office.

hearing. Paloma's voice was getting louder. Barbara

BErenice ran for the door and wanted to grab the door
knob and Barbara was trying to stop her. Paloma slowly turned.
