Cuando Seas Mia 67th episode

el Cafetalero: Daniela told Diego to speak but Diego
froze. Paloma said hallo a few times but no one
answered. Diego heard she hang up. He told Diana said
he need courage to do this. Daniela said she didn't
wnt him to go looking for Paloma, she just wanted him
to stop being a victim. He asked wht exactly she wanted
him to do? She said anything except going away from
this town. She beg tht he do this for her, at least let
everybody else be worried. She said his fmaily lied to
him and he didn't have to be nice to them. Diego areed
andsaid he won't let whthappen to Paloma just like tht.
He agreed to saty. Diana was happy and hugged him, she
said she' proud of him. She huged him too tight as if he ws choking.

Casablanca: Aurelio tried to talk to Leonor and beg for
her forgiveness. She didn't want to apologize him. He
tried to kiss her but she slapped him and thretened tht
she will report this to Diego. She went away. Aurelio
drank a bottle of liquor, he seemed very sad.

Coffee Council: Paloma/elena was still arranging files.
She finaally get to meet her boss, Victor. She asked if
the way she arranged te office was right. He didin't
mind he just wanted his maps to be put up and framed.
Victor wanted her to arrange for a meeting withtheir
workers in Veracruz, he gave her address books where
she can contact them. She asked him to outline her
duties and responsibilities. He said he just wnted her
to be a dedicated assistant . THey had just receive a
911 call about coffee fungus plague. New shoots were
already infected by the plague. They need to file the
report and made their repor t to c the technical
department. She is responsible to keep in touch with
the agronomic people and update the maps so tht they
can observe the movement of the plague throughout the
country. Paloma/Elena understood. She seemed alerted by
the plague news. She seemed concerned with the problem.
Victor said they all mest be ready all the time to face
this emergency. new fast action will affect in stopping
the plague from spreading across the country. If thef
not the country's economic will be badly affected. He
said he's not telling this to offend her, he actually
prefer to work with someone who already had an
experience working for him. Elena/Paloma told him tht
this was not her first experience, she had been in
different situations. She can be the best assitant he
ever need. She told him tht she started as a
recepptionst in El Cafetalero, and later made it as a
secretary and later she was the vice president. She
convinced him tht she had been in worse situation and
there's nothing she can't handle. She said she can act
without orders.She asked ifhe can giveher some reading
material where she can learn about the plague. Victor
said they can't do tht coz the platation will be
destroyed by he time she understand about the plague.
Paloma/Elena said she's faster than tht plague, she can
be t on it. He aksed how long will she take to
understand about the plague, she confidently asked how
much time would he give her to understand the plague.
He passed her some thick books about the plague and
wanted her to be ready in a week. She agreed and stake
her job on it. Victor agreed. She picked up the books
and left. Victor seemed to admire her confidence.

Berenice/Diego's apartment: Berenice told her mom tht
she's worried about her dad. She wondered if he can
rebuild his economy in a year. She told her mom tht her
dad must do it no matter what. coz if he failed, she
will end up with nothing. She cna't get Diego go back
to the hacienda coz she herself can't go back there coz
it's dangerous for her child. and if Diego stayed
here,he'll be close to Elena Olivares, and if they
divorce in the time before her father stabilize his
economy, she will end up with nothing at all.

Berenice opened the door and saw Miguel and Diana
kissing. Dina said Miguel ws coming homewith her from a
launch of a bar and he wanted to change his clothes.
Berenice invited her to wait for him in her house.
Diana followed berenice. Later the elevator dings and
Juan Carlos stepped out. He saw Miguel tried to unlock
the door. He told Miguel not to try coz it won't open.
his time was up. Juan Carlos wanted him to leave his
apartment. Miguel told him to low his volume, he didn't
want anyone else to hear him. Juan Carlos was angry tht
Miguel was living on his money and he had to pay for
all Miguels expenses. Miguel hushed him and said he was
offending him. Miguel still said tht he will pay for
everythingt tht he owed Juan Carlos. Juan Carlos was
grabbing his sleeves, Miguel pushed his grasps and told
him tht he will pay everythign tomorrow. Juan Carlos
laughed, and asked if he got rich? Miguel said he got a
better idea.Miguel tried to convice him tht he will
marry Diana Sanchez Sambrano, from a famous and rich
family in the country.Juan Carlos didn't want to hear
him any more. Later Diego exited the elevator. Miguel
whispered to Juan Carlos there comes his brother in
law. He greeted Diego and shook his hand. He gave a
convincing look to Juan carlos. Diego entered his
house. Miguel begged Juan Carlos to give him time coz
soon he;ll be rich and he'll get his money, he'll try
his best to fix his wedding date as soon and possible
and pay Juan Carlos his money. He said he will the
apartment and Juan carlos can take everythign he owned.
Juan Carlos said the only ting he owned would be his
tooth brush, deodorant and mouth spray.

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Diana complained tht Diego
didn't greeted, Diego said he was too tired and went to
bed. Berenice told Diana tht Diego was acting wierd and
she beleive tht Daniela already told him something.
Diana said no, if Daniela dead, diego would already
kill them. Berenice said may he ws already planning to kill them.

night...

Hotel: Marcia believe something is not right about
Fabian, she asked Angela and believed tht it's because
of Barbara. Angela said Fabian was happy to be
separated from Barbra. Barbara didn't even talk to him
the last time they met. Angela said the whole family
was surprised by her action, she even decided to go for
a cruise to the Carribean. Marcia smiled.

Barbara/Fabian's house: Barbara returtned to her
darkened home with her bags.

Hostel : Paloma returned and she seemed happy than
before. Her mom was ironing some clothes. She told her
mom tht she had to clean her boss's room the whole day
and she brought some books tht she need to study about
coffee fungus. Paloma said she was accepted because
Alleveneda gave the council good reccomendation and
supported by another recomendation letter by Diego.
Diego didn't state even one bad thing about her.
Soledad went to smell Paloma to find out if she's
drunk. Soledad didn't feel good coz Diego might be
planning something. She tried to make her fee better by
saying may be Diego doing tht to apologize for wht happen.

Restaurant: Diana went back to Miguel who seemed sad.
He told Diana he hadn't got any job. Diana sked if he
had money problem, he can borrow from her. He said he
didn't want her money, he had one good offer from
American company to work in their branch office in
Australia. The pay was great, he got an apartment and a
car but he had to go to Australia. He swore tht he
can't leave her but he had to go coz he needed the job.
He asked Diana to follow him. Diana said her family
would be furious especially her grandma unless he
married her. Miguel took his time to make a happy face
and said he's the happiest man on earth. They hugged,
kissed, bla bla bla..

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Diego remembered the day
paloma wrote his name by the beach, she was surprised
to see him and they kissed.

Berenice came to touch his shoulder but he went away.
Berenice was more suspicious.

Hotel: Marcia was relieved. The wedding will be in one
month. But they still don't have best man and
briedsmaid. Fabian returned and greeted his mother and
later Marcia. She asked if he was drunk, Fabian said he
went out with some exporters. Angela said she dropped
by to accompany Marcia and discuss their wedding.
Marcia told him tht her parents were waiting for them,
she left them to change her dress.

Hotel: Fabian asked Angela if Diego said anything about
leaving to hacienda. Fabian said they won't need
Bernando coz Juan Francisco would be able to handle the
company. Angela disagreed coz he wasn't well. FAbian
told him not to worry coz he won't have another heart
attack. Angela told him not to mention about tht.
Angela asked if he went to meet BArbara coz Bernando
didn't meet her at home or at the airport. Fabian said
he knew nothing about Barbara. Angela asked if he was
acting wierd because of Barbara. He said he wasn't
interested in Barbara anymore, she can go where ever
she wanted. Angela said tht's good and he must pay more
attention to Marcia. Angela left.

Hostel: Paloma was reading and her mom was already
asleep. She read tht only Oxycloride Copper can used to
stop the fungus. it won't be able to destroy the fungus
but it's enough to control the infection. She was
repeating the note over and over again and later she
slowed down to a stop and remembered the day Diego sang
to her by the beach.

Diego/Berneice's apartment: Diego was remembering how
Paloma listen and watch him sing. Berenice asked if he
wanted to go to bed, he said no. She decided not to
touch him and left.

Morning..
Hostel: Paloma was getting reading for work. Soledad
brought her something to eat. Soledad asked if they can
ask for an advance payment from Allevaneda. Soledad
wanted to get a sweing machine so tht she can make some
clothes and sell, so tht they can back their TV. Paloma
told her to be patient until she receive her first
salary. Soledad agreed and said she'll go to their
neighbour's to watch telenovela. Paloma agreed and told
her mom to bless her. Then they hugged.

Outside: Jeremy and Juancho were discussing Don
manuel's dissapearance. Juancho said may be Matilde
told was true, maybe Don Manuel went to get medication.
Juancho saw someone and said maybe tht person wanted to
meet him. Jeremy excused himself and said he'll meet him later.

Coffee Council: Victor told Elena about the plague's
history tht started in Sri lanka/Ceylon back in 1869.
Coffee used to come from there and used all over
europe. Elena/Paloma wrote each every word Victor said.
Then he continued tht when the plague started to
spread, people in Europe turned to tea. The fungus
infected coffee in Brazil in 1971. On the back ground
Diego's head peeked through the window glass and asked
to talk to Elena. She excused herself. SHe told Diego
to leave her alone and went back to Victor.

She sat and ready to continue. Victor said the fungus
destried many coffee farm it was the most terrible
thing ever happen. Elena said yes, the most terrible thing.

Elena/Paloma told Susana tht Victor was much worst than
described by her. Elena asked susna to help her find
those in Veracrus tht she need to arrange a meeting
with. Susana asked her to join her for lunch. Elena was
thankful and asked to meet Allevaneda.

Allevaneda's office: Elena told ALlevaneda tht she had
one question for him. DId Diego said anything about
her? Allevaneda said nothing. He believe she a had
stuff to discuss with Deigo and she need to do tht to
clear things up. Allevaneda Dieog only told him tht he
met ELena before he met his wife. Paloam was surprised
the story was short. She asked 10 minutes to tell him the rest.

She admitted tht her name is Teresa suarez and she
worked in haciendas, she loved being called Paloma and
everything was great until she met Diego.

Dona Ines house: Dona Ines was surprised to hear tht
they were getting married ang moving to Australia for 6
years.Dona ines looked as if she's going to faint.
Miguel tried to calm her down and said Diana will be
safe with him he'll never stop loving her. Miguel said
he had to accept tht and came here for her blessing.
Diana already crying. Dona Ines wanted them to discuss
with Diego. She had not opposition against their
marriage but she can't accept them moving far away for
a long time. Miguel turned to Diana and said he
understood if Diana can't come with him. Diana promised
to talk to Diego. Dona Ines was crying.

Hotel: Fabian was on the phone. Fabian checked with his
dad to see if he's OK. Marcia was all packed up. Fabian
said he'll be back in 2 days and he got good news for
him. He asked to talk to Bernando and said he need to
ask a favour. He wnted Bernando to watch Barbara coz
she ws acting wierd. Bernando said Barbra wasn't wierd.
Fabian said he wanted Bernando to follow Barbara to her
vacation. Bernando asked isn't it too late for him to
care for Barbara? Fabian said it's never too late.

Allevaneda's office: Paloma reach the part where she
was tricked by the photographer, she went to Europe,
she lost her baby, she went to Germany, worked hard,
returned to hacienda to find tht Diego was already
married. Allevaneda was already interested in the story
and thought it was like a telenovela. She told him tht
fate brought her to El cafetalero and later they met
again and she lost control of herself. Allevaneda said
Diego's version was much much shorter than this. She
said maybe he didn't want to be seen as a bad man.
Allevande said there might be serious misunderstanding
between them. Allevandea said she used 20 minutes of
his time coz he need to leave and he wanted her to
discuss this with Diego. Elena wished him safe journey
and thanked him.

Susana gave her the things she needed. She thanked Susana.

Dona Ines house: Diana called Graciela and asked to
speak to Diego but he went to the coffee council.
Miguel said it's OK, they can meet him later.

Outside: Susana and Elena were walking to the
restaurant. Susana said the place ws great, the can eat
first pay later. Elena stopped talking when she saw
Diego walking towards her and said she can't hide
behind her boss anymore and they must talk.

Outside: Diego said now she can't hide behind her boss
anymore. Susana excused herself. Paloma was babbling
about his cowardness and his lawyer planned well to
catch her alone where she's most vulnurable. She was
yelling to him and wondered why didn't he send Fabian.
He said Fabian was never on his side, Fabian had been
lying to them. He asked if the can go someplace quiet
where they can discuss this peacefully. Paloma
stubbornly said they can discuss it right here. bcoz
she won't follow him. She tried to move away but he
blocked her. She was yelling again and said he can say
whtever he wanted there and then. She didn't want him
to bother her anymore with his plans. She didn't even
believe one bit tht he was honest when he gave her the
reccomendation later to Allevaneda. Stories about her
had been spread as if she was the bad woman. Diego
asked why did she had to yell in the middle of the
road. She said yes, bcoz she wont follow him to other
place. Diego said they should had just stayed in
Manzannilo like the dreamt. Paloma couldn't look into
his eyes. She looked away and the crowd were closing in
becoming more and more interested in the lover's
quarrel. Diego was yelling tht they could be a lot more
happier in Manzanilo. He turned to the crowd and
announce tht he and Paloma foundheaven in Manzanilo. He
begged her to stay because he loved her since the first
time they mest. He suffered 3 years for her, confront
his cruel family. He defended her coz he never stop
loving her. The crod clapped. he said his family traped
them and they fall for it. Now she wouldn't listen to
him. Paloma encouraged the crowd to clap again and
threw him some money. Diego said his act wasn't
complete yet. He pulled her and kissed her. The crowd
applaused again. She pushed him away and slapped him
across the face. The crowd was quiet this time, each
eyes eager to see wht happen next. Diego said she
started tht yelling and wanted them to go someplace
safe and discuss this like adults. Paloma said the only
place she felt safe would be the court. He agreed.
Paloma walked away and he hurriedly followed her.

Berenice/Diego's apartment: (on the phone) Berenice
told Diana tht she had been trying to contact Diego
too. Berenice said Miegul need to meet Diego coz he had
just proposed to her. Berenice's expression turned to
anger. She hang up and threw something to the floor.
She picked up the phone and asked for Diego at the
council. She was surprised to hear tht the meeting was
in the morning. She hang up and asked 'where are u Diego?'

Restaurant: Diego and Paloma arrived at a restaurant.
Paloma ordered tequila and Diego wanted some too. She
told the waiter to hurry coz her temper was boiling. He
said it's not easy for him to explain it but he didn't
want her to be angry. She said she heard the same line
when she came back from Europe. He said this would be
the last time he used the phrase.

Dona Ines' house: Harold poked his head into the room
where Diana and Miguel were resting. He went to kiss
his sister in law and her future husband. Miguel looked
away and Harold grabbed and shook his hand. Harold went
to greet 'Daniela the fish', 'Harold the fish' and
'Abuela the fish'. Diana asked where was Daniela,
Harold said she's with her grandma. Daniela later came
barging in and asked Diana to follow her. Daniela asked
why was she having a marriage tht will destroy her
life. Diana said one day she will married too. Daniela
said she will never marry coz marriage will destroy the
love the had. Daniela sarcastically asked if she would
be happy by eating kangaroo's meat in Australia. Diana
yelled and told her to stop worrying about her. Harold
and Miguel turned to look at them. Diana said Daniela
should be happy coz she will leave the house after she
was married. Diana promised tht she won't bother
Daniela. She'll be far away and hope her marriage will
last so tht she won't hae to return and see Daniela's
face again. Daniela shook her head and called her
sister stupid. She admitted tht she dind't want her
sister to go. She hugged Diana who wasn't returning her
hug. Daniela said she just wanted Diana to think about
this carefully. She touched Diana's cheek and said she
need Diana, she returned from Europe because she was
lonely. And now she'll be all alone again, their
parents died, diego will return to the hacienda and now
Diana was going to Australia. Harold and Miguel were
watching them from the other room. Diana was just
looking at Daniela who began to cry. When Diana didn't
do anything to calm Daniela down, Harold went to her
and hugged her. he told her not to cry bcoz he'll cry
too. She turned away and ran. Harold followed her.

Miguel came to Diana n told her not to worry everythign
will be just fine.

Restaurant: Diego and Paloma were having tequila. Diego
told her tht no one knew tht she was Paloma. Everything
was perfect until the day Berenice and Barbara heard
her singing. Berneice recognised her voice from the
singing voice in the hacienda. Berenice told Barbara
tht the voice belong to Paloma. They started to
investigate and plan to separate them. Tht's why they
came up the the story tht they had bad coffee in
Casablanca so tht she was left alone. He caught the
first flight when heknew tht truth but he was too late
coz Fabian got to her first with his fake story. She
bought his story and she was fired. Diego ordered two
more tequilas but Paloma wanted to go back to her
office. He wanted her to stay a little longer coz
there's a lot more she need to listen. He pulled her
hand and said she must listen what his family had been
telling him about her. He gave her her phone. She
called Susana and asked her to cover for her. Susana
smiled and said she knew quite well wht she had to
settle after the little encounter she had with Diego.
She wouldn't mind covering for Paloma/Elena. She asked
if the guy was El CAfetalero manager. Paloma/Elena said
yes, but it wasn't wht Susana thought, she said she
need to discuss about her last paycheque. She thanked
Susana and later they hang up.

Paloma pushed the phone towards Diego and he touched
her hand. He continued his story tht Fabian lied to
him. Fabian told everyone tht she was fired and left
with the last paycheque, hrt vst snf she also asked for
extra money of 200 thousand pesos to forget him. Paloma
sighed and leaned back into her seat. She asked if he
believe wht he heard. He said no, but when he went to
her house, she was gone, as if she was runnign from
him. Paloma believed tht Diego accepted the lies tht
she would sell her love. She stood up to leave but he
pulled her back. She wondered how long it took him to
search for her and later return to his wife. Diego
called the waiter and asked for two more tequilas. He
told Paloma tht his story will end soon. She can do
whtever she wanted after tht. He said Fabian made up
stories about her. she wondered wht was it about. She
insisted tht he told her. Diego said Fabian told them
tht Paloma/Elena was popular among coffee exporters and
she slept with everyone. Paloma was surprised and Diego
quickly said he din't belive wht Fabian said. Paloma
questioned him tht earlier he said he hated her because
wht Fabian told him. Diego said he was just confused.
He needed to find her in order to get an explanation.
She said nothing of this matters now. It's too late for
them. Diego agreed. She had tears in her eyes.

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Diana went to see Berenice.
Berneice said Diego hadn't return. Diana told her not
think of anything bad. Diana told her tht Miguel
propsoed to her and they weill be married and moved to
Australia. Berneice was uncomfortable and asked if
Miguel really accept a job in Australia. DIana asked if
she didn't trust Miguel. Berenice said no. Dinaa told
her how happy she was.

miguel's apartment: Juan Carlos asked Miguel where did
he get the idea about Australia. He didn't know coz
maybe it was because the last Olympic was in Autralia
and the idea just popped into his head. Juan CArlos was
amazed. Miegul said he needed to named some place far
away to avoid Dian'as family from letting them go. He
said he'll propose tonight and set the date. He
promised he'll be out of the house coz his rich wife
will be able to pay all his debts. Juan Carlos asked if
he really loved Diana. Miguel said how can't he love a
woman who was so rich. Miguel gave Carlos his emptied
glass as if he was the waiter. Miguel said he almost
wanted to wear the jacket tht Juan Carlos was wearing.

Restaurant: Diego told Paloma tht Daniela and Latore
found out the truth tht Fabian was the one who used the
money and kept her car. Paloma admitted tht they found
her but she didnt meet them to explain. Diego continued
tht Daniela broguht Fabian in front of the family but
FAbian told everyone tht he lied for Diego's own good.
Paloma praised his family for loving him too much.
Dieog held her hand and said he understood tht his
family had done a lot and she had to suffer. He
regretted it andit hurt him too. Tht's why he wrote the
reccomendation letter, to ammend his mistakes. He
pulled out a cheque and said it's hers. She looked at
it and tore it into pieces. Diego was surprised. She
said she will accept the cheque from El Cafetalero but
not his personal cheque. She was crying and asked if
tht's how much he valued her. She stood up and wanted
to leave but he stopped her. She swung her hand to slap
him but this time he caught her hand. (practise made
perfect, he's learning to block Paloma's palm from
hitting his cheek again.) He told her to sit coz
there's a lot to talk about. Paloma said when he gave
the cheque it broke her heart coz tht was how much he
estimated their love. She wondered if he's going to let
her use his credit card next. He just wanted her to
know tht he never betrayed her and wht happend was not
his fault. She wiped her tears and said she had one
question for him, was he living with his wife? He
looked down and admitted 'yes'. He started to cry and
said he lost her and he didnt' know where to look for
her. He ran back to the hacienda and tried living alone
but his guilty conscous brought him back to Berenice.

Paloma said when she met him again, she thought she was
dreaming. She will always felt like tht for the rest of
her life and she can't forgive him for tht. She stood
up about the same time he did to leave but he hugged
her. He was crying. She told him to leave her. If she
wasn't poor, she won't be working at the coffee
council. She said it's not fair if she was the only one
who had to sacrifice. She begged him to leave her. He
told her not to worry, he won't bother her again. He
touched her face and said they won't meet again and
hope she will succeed. She deserved tht. She wished him
the same and hope he will be happy with his wife. They
were both crying and later kissed. She pulled away and
left. Dieog cried harder.

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Diego returned and Bernice
asked where was he. Diana greeted her brother anda said
they searched for him. She said she had something to
discuss. She said she and Miguel had a surprised to
tell him and wanted to go out for dinner with them.
Diego agreed. Diana was happy and said she's going to
call miguel. Diego asked about the 'surprise'. Bernice
told him tht Miguel and Diana will marry becasue Miguel
got a job in Australia. Diego relaised tht Berenice
didn't like the union. Berenice said Diana was too
young to marry. She knew tht Daniela and Dona Ines
would think the same too. She realised tht Diego was
pouring tequila. She asked who did he met. He plainly
said he met a coffee planter in Chiapas.

Hostel: Paloma told Diego's story to her mother. She
slept on her mother's lap. She said she can't accept
hismoney coz if she did, itll meant tht wht Diego was
thiking about her was true tht her love can be bought.
She can't bear tht. She admitted tht when he held out
the money, she felt as if wht the family had been
saying was true. The money won't be able to repay their
tears. Dieog told her tht the money was her last
paycheck, her car and he added a little with his own
money. Paloma said tht reminded her of wht he told her
back in the hacienda. He wanted to give her house and
money. She questioned if tht wht she deserve for loving
him. She wiped her tears and said they will start a new
life. She belive tht she can't ask for a loan from her
company. Soledad said take her time, they can live with
her salary to pay their debts. Soledad was glad tht
Paloma talked with Diego and everything had been
cleared. Paloma said somethings were still not cleared,
like the part how did Fabian knew tht she and Diego
were in Manzanilo. Soledad wondred wht will happen
next. Paloma cried and said now Diego lived with his
wife. Soledad belived tht Diego still love Paloma and
if his family wasn't int he way, they would already be
married and lived happily in Manzanilo. Paloma cried
harder and said no, he searched for her to say goodby.
Soledad didn't believe her. Paloma said Diego promised
not to see her again and prayed for her success. She
said she was there and heard his stupid answers. She
was hoping tht he would hug her all the time the were
together. She said she kissed him coz she hoped tht he
would drag her to the airport and leave together. She
would follow and they would be happy together. But he
did was, he apologized. Soledad touched her face and
said she won't be able to live without Diego. Paloma
said of course she can, this was normal. She was almost
went crazy when she met him. she promsed to prove tht
she's a strong woman and she will forget him. Soledad
said she didn't have to prove anything.

Restaurant: Miguel told Diego about his job offer in
Australia and said he cna't stay being away from Diana
so they decided to get married. his contract was 6
years and might be extended. Diego was happy for Diana
and smiled. He hope the desicionw asn't hasty coz it's
not easy to live far away. Diana said he thought it
over and it's wht she really wanted to do. Berenice
asked for how long they had known each other. Diana
answered a few months. Berenice asked if tht was enough
time to come to this decision. Diana can't belive
Berenice was questioning this. Berenice married Diego
after two months meeting him. Diego agreed and told
Diana to go on with her decision. Miguel ws happy and
said they will be happy with each other. He promised to
take care of Diana. They kissed. Berenice intterupted
the kiss and asked wht was the name of the company.
Miguel mumbled before answering an International

Restaurant: Berenice asked for a year to divorce Diego.
She wanted Miguel to wait for her. Diego saw Berenice
and Miguel stood too close together. He eyed them
suspiciously. Berenice was speechless. Miguel took over
the situation and said he apologized berenice for her
behaviour. He said he wasn't angry at all and wanted
them to forget everything. He gave her a brotherly kiss
and explain to Diego tht he was just trying to make
peace with Berenice later he left. Diego asked Berenice
wht happen. Berneice asked if he was jealous, she
explained tht she bumpedinto miguel and apologized for

arm towards Diana and Miguel.

Miegul explianed to Diana wht happend and hope Diego
didn't take them being together wrongly. Dina told him

again. Diego blamed aunt Angela, Barbara and Fabian for
doing tht. Soledad contnued tht when Paloma started
looking for other job, they require recommendation
letter from past emplyers, it's impossible for Paloma
to get those. She started selling encyclopaedia and she
didn't get enough money to pay for their living cost.
THeir furniture was taken away and her encyclopaedia
was stolen. Diego asked if they had anyone to turn to.
Soledad said they only had each other. Diego asked
about Jean Carlo. Soledad said he was gone long ago and

returning with Bereniece coz she had to stay in the
city. Later he hang up. Bernice wanted to come with him
but Diego forbid, she must stay at home. Berneice told
him to call her when he arrive. BDiego left. Berneice

Coffee Council: Allevandea tht Elena and Victor were

Coffee Council: Allevaneda announced tht Elena and
Victor were appointed to visit delegations and coffee
planters throughout Veracruz.Elena wondered wht she had
to do. Victor said she will give instructions to
workers coz she can make use of her past experience.
Allevaneda said they will leave today. on 6.00 o'clock
flight to Jalapa. Elena said tht would be no problem
coz this made her happy actually coz she get to go away
from the city for a few days. Roberto sure tht old
memories will stir again once she return to Casablanca.
Elena/Paloma smiled and nodded, but later she shot
Allevaneda another look and asked "Casablanca?"
Allevaneda smiled and said Casablanca was in their
list. Roberto Allevandea suggest tht she go home to
pack up. she excused herself and left.

Roberto asked the rest in the room if there's something
else. One of them asked about the smoke-technicque.

and he was bored at home. Juan Carlos was happy coz the
coffee price was rising and it's a good time to buy and
buy. Diego said no wonder Don Juan Francisco refused to
stay at home. Juan Francisco said this was his life, he
was jealous of Diego who get to be there all the time.
The office was great after Diego took over. It's
something tht Fabian can't achieve. Diego said he can't
stay coz he need to go back to the hacienda and observe
the harvesting process and make all preparations for
Diana's wedding which will be tht weekend.

Juan Francisco wondered who will manage the company
when he's gone. Diego pretended to ponder about tht
thought. Juan Francisca was watching him with a begging

and thought he would never ask. He laughed. Dieog made
him promise not to care too much about the coffee
market price coz Angela will be worried. Diego asked

Diego said most of his family won't be coming including
Dona Ines and his sisters. Thhey hugged and Diego left.

Dona Ines house:Diana was angry when she looked at a
magazine, her wedding won't be as grand as Fabian's
wedding. Miguel told her not to worry because once they
were in Australia, they'll be in the front page of
every magazine, being pictured with a kangaroo. Miguel
laughed at his own joke. He told her tht they'll be
living in Sydney. Diego arrived and Miguel welcomed him
and they hugged. Diego told them tht he need to back to
the hacienda. He wanted everything to be ready by
Friday and hoped tht Diana will return earlier to see
the preparation. Diego asked where was Daniela and
Diana told him tht she's in the study. Diego went to the study.

said he can't put 3 brands on the market.

Later he went to join Marcia, Angela and his PR. Marcia
told him tht they banquet were ready and all guests had
confirmed they attendance. His PR said Hotel Plaza
offered 3 menus and he chose the first one, and during
dinner they will be entertained by guitar player and
jazz orchestra. Fabian seemed unconcentrated. He was
more disturbed by the loud music tht was put on by
Dolores. He went to yell at Dolores and ignore his
mother, Marcia and his PR.

Marcia told Angela tht Fabian had been acting wierd
lately. His PR said he lose big money in the market but
he seemed to ignore it. Angela stood up to see Fabian,

tried to convince him tht sooner or later his family
will accept him and Marcia.

Angela told him to pay attention to Marcia and try to

Paloma/Elena and Victor arrived at Veracruz. Victor
told her tht she will start with hacienda Casablanca.
They went to the hotel where the coffee committee
members were already waiting for them and welcomed
them. THey introduced themselves and soon they will
start wht they came to do. Paloma excused herself coz
she need to change before she starts her work. The men
watched her go. One of the committee members praised
her beauty and said Victor was lucky to have such a
lovely assistant. Victor said she gave him headache
from time to time and it's hard to fight with a girl
like tht. He watched Paloma go thoughtfully.

Casablanca: Diego was listening to Paloma's song from
the tape he took from Paloma's hostel. Jeremy came to
meet him. Diego asked if they heard anything from Don
Manuel, Jeremy said know and the police were still
investigating. Jeremy said it's wierd because Matilde
didnt' seem worried at all. Don Manuel left lots of
money to Matilde and she spent it a lot on shoes and
clothes, she even some clothes for him. Jeremy asked if
Berenice was coming. Diego said no, coz the doctor
advice her not to do so. He said his relationship with
Berneice had been bad, he still can't forget Paloma.
Diego told Jeremy tht Diana will marry soon to nice man
named Miguel. Miguel seemed affected by the news. Later
he changed the subject and motioned to the radio
cassette player and asked, "Is tht her?" Diego told him
tht he stole the cassette from Paloma's home, it was
not stealing because his name was written on the
cassette label, "SOngs for Diego" Jeremy said he could
never understand Diego, he can't forget Paloma and at
the same time he can't leave his wife. Diego said tht's
his curse and he had to live with the pain forever.
THt's the reason he return to the hacienda. NOw it's
October and can't pretend tht Paloma will return this
year. He was hoping the next October his pain will
subside little by little.

Restaurant: Paloma was with the cofee committee members
and Victor. They were discussing tht many coffee
collectors infected by the fungus came to work at the
area and most of them working in hacienda Casablanca,
so they will start with tht hacienda. they prepared the
documents and agreed to go there in the afternoon.
Victor told them tht he and Elena had a meeting at the
coffee checking Center. Victor called Elena who seemed
lost in thoughts, she snapped from her dream and
repeated tht they will go tomorrow afternoon.

night..
The next scene alternately take place with Paloma's
voice on the background singing her song...

hacienda casablanca: Diego was remembering the day they
promised to meet on 17th October and on the 18th, they
will go to the nearest chapel to get married.

Hotel: Paloma was remembering the same scene.

Diego/Berenice's apartment: Berenice was remembering
the day she asked Deigo if he knew tht it was Paloma
who was singing. Diego said he never heard Paloma sing.

Paloma looked up and Diego's face appear next to hers.

morning..
Hotel: Paloma was on the phone with her mom saying tht
she will not bumped into Diego there coz she will only
meet the collectors, not the owner of the haciendas.
Soledad reminded her to say hi to her friends and wear
nice clothes to impress them. Paloma told her mom tht
soon she will take a flight to join her there. Soledad
wanted to take the bus because aeroplane crash down
from time to time. Paloma laughed when her mom wanted
to bring along a parachute. Later she hang up when
Victor approached her. He asked if she slept well,
paloma sighed and told him not to ask her tht question.
She took her bag and they left together.

Hacienda casablanca: Diego reminded Aurelio and Carlos
to pick up Diana and Miguel when they arrive. He wanted
to go out and buy some wine. he sid he'll be bck tht
afternoon. Carlos must welcome the visitors.

A coffee plantation: Victor told Paloma tht in Brazil,
they use tonnes of chemical stuff to fight the fungus,
even the air was filled with chemical stuff. Here they
chose cuprum oxyclorida because it was the least
dangerous chemical to use.

Dona Ines house: Diana was on the phone with Berenice.
She told Berenice tht she received lots of gifts and
Miguel was so happy and gave her a present. Berenice
rolled her eyes and said "How romantic". Bereice said
she had to hang up because she need to go see a doctor.
Diana said she called to ask her to join them going
back to the hacienda. Berenice said she can't coz it's
doctor's order, she didn't want to risk her pregnancy.
diana said it's her wedding anniversary and she must be
with her husband. Berenice said she didn't need to do
tht coz even Diego seemed not to remember tht.

A man was talking in front of a crowd about the fungus
attack being sent by God to punish the greed. Juancho
came to greet Diego. Jeremy was there too. Juancho said
tht man was somekind of old fashion medcine man who
visited haciendas and claim tht he can protect them
from the fungus. Diego invited them to Diana's wedding.
Jeremy asked if he can bring Matilde, Diego said yes.

The medicine-man took out a jar of water and said it ws
blessed by 7 wisemen from Egypt and it will kill the
fungus. He distributed some small cards and said the
water will destroy the fungus. Juancho and Jremy smiled.

Coffee plantation. Victor told Paloma tht Columbia
developed some herbs tht was good to prevent the fungus
from spreading but it's quite high cost for them to
began tht herbs treatment because it involve 2 million
acres of coffee plantation. Victor asked if she knew
the way to Casablanca, she said yes. Victor wished her
good luck, she said to herself hopefully God heard tht wish.

Bernando's office: Bernando and his boyfriend were
sitting closely in front of the computer. Both men
straightened up when Barbara suddenly entered the
office. Bernando's boyfriend excused himself. Barbara
threw the magazine and asked why wasn't she told about
Fabian's wedding, she would have speed up the divorce.
Bernando said his whole family was against Fabian's
wedding and for them Barbara would always be Fabian's
wife. Barbara was crying. She asked if Fabian was
coming to Diana's wedding. Bernando said no. She said
she'll be there to wish everyone goodbye because she
will go far away.

Diego was sitting at the little town center. He
remembered the day he and Paloma had the first tequila
together. Moment's later, the car carrying Paloma
turned into the same road. Paloma told him to stop and
she remembered the day she and her mom went to the
studio to have her pictures taken. She didn't recognise
Diego was sitting there. The car drove away and Diego
stood up and walked to his car. He turned back and
remember the day they talked about London, the capital
city of United Kingdom. Diego drove away and moments
later Paloma's carriage stopped at the same spot and
she remembered the night she sang wholeheartedly,
watched by the coffee collectors. She told the driver
to go to the plaza again.

Miami: Fabian was on the phone with Bernando. (Angela
told the maids to take the flowers to the pool, Marcia
thanked her for doing this) Marcia entered Fabian's
room to tell him something. She heard Fabian asked
Bernando about Barbara. Bernando told him tht Barbara
knew about his wedding from a magazine and she agreed
to come to Diana's and she said she wanted to say good
bye. Fabian asked if Barbara was serious and wanted to
know her reaction after knowing about his marriage to
Marcia, he wondered if Barbara will exposed his bad
doings. He turned and saw Marcia looking at him, he
quickly hang up. Marcia asked if FAbian wanted to
follow her fetch up her parents. They kissed and Fabian
said he can't come and suggested tht she went with his
mother. Marcia said she loved him and said she'll pick
her parents herself. Marcia walked away and stopped as
if she wanted to ask something, Fabian waited nervously
but she didn't turn, she continued walking.

Hacienda: Diego asked Carlos if Aurelio went to pick up
diana at the airport. Carlos said he already left. The
people from the committee hadn't arrive.

Paloma walked into the hacienda. She looked around and smiled.
