Cuando Seas Mia 71st episode

Hacienda: The driver told the man tht they were from
the coffee council. Paloma said there's no need to show
her the way to the plantation because she knew it very
well. It seemed like the people were very busy moving
around, preparing somekind of party, tht reminded
Paloma of the first day she returned from London and
Aurelio told her tht Diego had just got married.

Plantation: Paloma introduced herself to her old
friends but they didn't respond to her. She told them
to say hi to her. Paloma said she was sent by the
ccoffee Council to brief them about the fungus tht had
spread among coffee plantations. She said she knew
about this better than anyone because she was a
collector too. Maria dared her for a competition, a
race to pick coffee. Paloma offered a bet at 10
thousand pesos. She borrowed Maria's clothes and the
competition began. The driver was worried tht she might
lose her pocket money. The crowd roared as Paloma and
Maria raced towards the coffee trees.

Paloma seemed very happy doing her old job.

hasienda: Diego was listening to Paloma's song. Carlos
told him tht somekind of party was going on at the
plantation. Diego wanted to see wht was going on.

Plantation: Paloma won the race and her friends
cheered. She hugged Maria and refuse to accept the
money she won. She told her driver to buy tequila for
the workers. She was surprised to hear tht Diego was at the Hasienda.

Hasienda: Aurelio returned with Miguel and Diana,
Berenice was there too. Miguel hugged Diego and
Berenicce told Diego tht Diana forced her to follow
her. Diego told them tht Jeremy will come to the
wedding too with his girlfriend.

Outside: Jeremy was looking for Matilde. He saw her
sittng by the bushes in the rain.

Outside: Aurelio and Carlos met Paloma's driver on the
way to see wht was going on at the plantation. The
driver said he was going to the nearest mechanic and
everything was going fine at the plantation. Aurelio
and Carlos returned home because there's nothing to
check because the workers were being briefed by the
woman from the coffee council.

Outside: Matilde cried in the rain and said Don Manuel
was buried there. Jeremy was shocked to hear tht and
asked how can she kill tht man who was also a human being.

Hasienda: Diego and his family were discussing about
the wedding tomorrow. Miguel arranged for the party at
Mexico City. Jeremy later came to see Diego. He asked
if he can stay there for the night becaus he had just
break up with Matilde.

Miguel wondered who was tht man, Berenice gladly
explained tht Jeremy was Diana's boyfriend. Diana said
he was just a friend.

worker's place: Maria begged Paloma to stay with them
tht night. The driver was surprised tht Paloma wanted
to sleep there with the others. Paloma told him to come
back for her tomorrow. Maria asked if she still sing, she said no.

Hasienda: Diego heard Paloma's song and told Jeremy tht
he knew tht he was going crazy because he can still
hear Paloma's voice in his head. He told Jeremy tht he
felt Paloma was so close and felt like he need to go to
the plantation.

Miami: Marsia was angry to hear tht Fabian wanted to
return home for Diana's wedding. He told her to be
patient. She was acting like Barbara. he told her to
smile in front of their guests who came to celebrate
their engagement. Fabian told Dolores to pack his bag.
Marcia's parents were worried and Fabian and Marcia
quickly smiled and told them tht everything was going
fine. Marcia took her parents away from Fabian.

Angela told Fabian to be good to Marcia's parents.

Hacienda: Jeremy left bcause he need to be alone. Diego
was alone, drinking tequila.

Outside: Paloma asked Maria to follow her. Maria said
she scared and wht they were doing was risky. Paloma calmed her down.

hasienda: Jeremy went to see Diana. Berenice left them
so tht they can be together alone. He praised her
wedding gown. He hugged her from behind and said he
shouldn't have left London.

Hasienda: Berenice walked down the stairs when miguel
was talking to Diego. She left and went to sleep.
Miguel had tequila with Diego. Miguel said if he died,
he would like to be buried at the plantation land.

Paloma and Maria were listening to Miguel and Diego
from behind the wall.

Miguel told Diego tht no matter how he liked the
hacienda, he still had to leave for Australia. Diego
offered him to work at the hacienda. Miguel said he
will think about tht.

Miami: Fabian announced his engagement to his guests.
He promised to make Marcia happy. They kissed and the
guests clapped. Marcia's father thanked him and praised
Fabian's family and generations and hope he was as good
as his family and excell in coffee business just like his grandfather.

Dolores told Fabian tht she can't find his pasport. he
was angry and left with her to search for it. Marcia
and Angela were with marcia's parents. They watched
Fabian go. Marcia said he seemed very angry and he will
be more angry if he can't find his pasport because
Barbara will be at his cousin's wedding too.

Marcia complained tht her legs were getting numbed.
Paloma begged her to sta because she need to watch
Diego. maria bet tht he was thinking of Paloma. Paloma
drank a bottle of tequila. Diego stood and walked up
stairs.

hasienda: Maria said she really need to go back because
she must work tomorrow. Paloma wanted Maria to bring
her to her old cabin. maria said diego burnt it down
when he was acting like a crazy man. Paloma was so surprised.

Jeremy was having flashbacks of his days there. he made
friends with Diego and Juancho. Matilde begged him to
kill Don Manuel, she cried at the place where she
buried Don Manuel. Diego came and he woke up from his
flashbacks. Diego asked wht was he doing there. Jeremy
said he wanted some drinks.

Miami: Fabian still can't find his passport and told
Dolores to find it night.

hasienda: Berenice asked if Diego didn't want to sleep.
He told her to sleep first.

Miami: Marcia went to speak to Fabian and told him to
stop making their guests look at him wierdly. He accuse
her of his missing passport. and Marsia said he was
making assumptions. Fabian threatened her tht if he
can't finid his passport, he will make every guest look
for it, even her mom and her dad. Marcia's mom and dad
were wacthing from the other side.

Marcia said she had just realised tht Fabian didn't
love her. Their fight attracted their guests'
attention. Fabian said 6 minutes left, he wanted his
passport back. He left.

Angela told Marcia not to make Fabian angry, if not,
she would be making the same mistake like Barbara did.
She admitted tht she felt the same thing tht Barbara was feeling.

Fabian was knocking the spoon to his glass to attract
the crowd's attention.

Angela tried to convince Marsia to tell her where was
his pasport because she will ruin everything with
Fabian.

Fabian was on the verge telling everyone to help him
search for his passport. He was watching Angela and Marcia.

Marcia finally told Angela tht she kept his passport in
the car. Angela quickly went to Fabian and told him
tht. Fabian apologize to the guests and told them to
enjoy the music.

Marcia's father asked wht was going on and Angela said
it was a just a joke. Fabian went to speak to Marcia
and she admitted tht she hid his passport. He forgave
her and they hugged.

Cabin: Paloma was standing at the remaining of her
cabin. She said tht was her only memoy of her old times
with Diego. Paloma was remembering the day she cried in
her cabn and she asked Diego if she was his first true
love. He told her tht she was the first and the last.
Diego hugged her.

hasienda: Diego was remembering the first time he went
to see Paloma at a close distance. She was singing.

Morning...

Worker's camp: Paloma was singing and the workers were
complaining tht she was singing to loud and they can't sleep all night.

hasienda: Diego woke up when she heard her voice. He
ran out of the bed room ignoring Berneice calling his name.

Hasienda: Diego ran downstairs.

Worker's camp: Paloma kept on singing. Maria said
everyone mus have known tht Paloma was back because she
sang so loud. Paloma said tht was exactly wht she
wanted. She wanted Diego to know tht she's here. Diego
rushed into the workers' camp and stopped when he saw
her smiling at him. They moved towards each other.
Berneice walked in moments later with her pregnant
belly. Paloma's smile dissapeared. Berenice went away and cried.

Paloma wondered wht would be his excuse now. Was his
wife pregnant with a holy child, or was she pregnant
with someone else's baby and he was just going to adopt
the baby. He wanted to explain but she refuse to
listen. she began to cry and helling. She said tht she
was there to prevent the fungus from spreading, she
wished tht the fungus will destroy this hacienda. Maria
interrupted her and told her not to wish such thing
because it will destroy hers and her friends work.
Paloma said Diego was the most dangerous plague because
he destroyed whatever he touched. She accused him using
the workers to get lots of money for himself. Paloma
refuse to stop, she said if she were them, she would
never be a collector. She ran out and Diego tried to
stop her but the driver had already drove away. He kept
yelling her name.

hasienda: Bernice and Diego were fighting because of
Paloma. He said he never knew tht Paloma was there. She
started throwing things towards Diego. He told her to
calm down because Paloma was already gone.

Berenice was yelling with her eyes widened,(she seemed
very scary, man) She said she will never leave the
hacienda and prayed tht the baby she's carrying will
die. Diego tried to calm her down again but she kept on
yellng. Diana came asking wht was wrong. Diego left.
Bernice told her tht Paloma sang again. She's back. She
was back and stayed at the workers' camp. Berenie was
panting and sat on the couch. She held her pregnant
stomach and seemed like she's in pain. she cried and
said Diego admitted he didn't know tht Paloma was
there. She said she saw Paloma with the workers and she
was singing attracting Diego to come for her. Diana was
surprised to hear tht. Berneice asked how long Paloma
had been there. Diana asked if Paloma saw her condition
with her pregnant stomach. Berenice didn't care about
tht. Diana still could't believe tht Paloma would
return to the hacienda. Berenice told Diana to stop
pretending because Paloma and Diego had been playing
her all the time. Diana said this would be a tragedy if
the family knew. Diana helped Berenice return to her room.

Miami: Marcia told Angela tht Fabian seemed too nice
after she apologize to him last night. Fabian later
greeted Marcia and promised tht he will return next
Monday. She wanted him to always remember tht she loved
him. and she can't live without him. He said he lvoed her too.

Hasienda: Diana was angry with Berenice who wanted to
smoke. Diana said may be wht Diego said was true. This
might be the first time they met after Elena/Paloma
left el Cafetalero. Berneice didn't care if tht was
true, she can't just sit and look at wht happen. Diana
said she should let Diego do whtever he wanted. Diana
said maybe Paloma will stop looking for Diego now
because she saw Berenice was pregnant. Diana told her
to let Diego relax, and stop thinking about tht.

MIguel was having a facial treatment, he had green
muddy stuff on his face and two slices of cucumber on
his eyes. Berenice came in and he quickly told the
girls to leave. Berenice said Miguel might not be able
to taste Diana's moeny, she laughed at him. He told her
to shut up. She didn't care, she asked him if he knew
why her marriage wasn't happy, she told him Paloma had returned.

Diego asked Jeremy how dare Paloma came to his house
posing as a collector. Jeremy suggest tht he go find
Paloma. Diego looked out the window and said the
'investigators' had arrived.

Leonor greeted Don Francisco, Dona Ines and Bernando
who arrived together. She told Carlos to get Ophelia to
talk to her. Daniela arrived with Harold who brought
his camera. He started taking pictures of Leonor and Daniela.

Workers' camp: The workers refuse to work because they
belive wht Paloma said, tht Diego was using them to get
lots of money. Carlos came to get Ophelia.

Hasienda: Dona Ines called for Diego.

Diego hope none of the workers will tell his family tht
Paloma worked at the coffee council.

Berneice hinted to Miguel the possible father to her
baby. The stupid looking mud-face told her to get out.

Diego went to greet his family. Harold was busy taking
pictures. Dona Ines asked if Diego was happy there.
DAniela asked if he was OK coz he looked pale. Later
Berenice came and told them tht Paloma was back. Diego
told them not to start making assumptions. Berneice
said how dare Paloma came to bother them again. Later
Aurelio came to tell Diego tht the workers refused to work.

Don Francisco said they must not discuss the
Paloma-problem now because it will ruin the wedding.
Dona Ines agreed. Berenice left them in anger.

kitchen: Ophelia told Leonor tht Paloma looked nice now
and came as the representative of the coffee council.

Workers' camp: Diego told the workers tht he cannot pay
extra because their busines wasn't so good nowadays.
they complained tht Paloma told them otherwise. The
workers threatened him tht they won't work, not until
he raise their pay, they give him until Monday to think
about tht. Diego warned Carlos and Aurelio not to
mention this to any of his family.

hasienda: Leonor told Berenice wht she heard from
Ophelia. Berenice can't believe tht Paloma now worked
with Roberto Allevaneda at the coffee coucil. Later
Barbara arrived. Leonor left htem. Berenice was
surprised tht Barbara never went to holidays like she
said she would, because she spent her time in her
locked house. Barbara wanted to make Fabian jealous.
She said Fabian is her life and she cannot forget him.
She added tht love fade away very fast. She called the
other women 'prostitutes', or may be it should
translate as 'whores'

Berneice didn't know what will happen to her. Barbara
was surprised tht Diego wanted to have a baby girl.

Outside hotel: Paloma told her mom to relax after her
flight. Soledad showed her lots of medication tht she
had to take on the flight. Paloma told her mom tht her
career inthe coffee council will end soon, she told her
mom wht happen at the hasienda. Soledad belive tht the
child didn't belong to Diego, it was someone else's
child. She compared the story to the telenovelas tht
she had been watching. Paloma shook her head, She can't
understand why her mom can think something like tht and
keep comparing themto telenovelas. Soledad was brave
enought to be her money on it.

Hasienda: Diego was with Daniela. SHe knew tht Paloma
will never trust him again. He just didn't want to hurt
Paloma again. She might decide to kill herself one day
in front of everyone.

hotel: Paloma told her mom how vulnurable Diego looked
when he was drinking tequila, she almost can't stop
herself from running towards him and hugging him. She
wondered if this will be her lifetime curse.

hasienda: Diego hope his family never knew about him
and Paloma. He just wanted to confront them with wht
FAbian did to Paloma.

Hotel: Paloma regretted wht she said to the workers tht
might encourage them to stop working. She was imagining
tht Roberto Allevaneda will put her through the
shredding machine. Soledad eyes' widenned.

hasienda: Diego was imaginning how cute Paloma look
when she's angry. He hope the workers would return to
work. She left him without a word and he was the one
who had to confront the workers.

Hotel: Paloma said she will go back to Mexico city and
offered her head to Roberto. She said she will complete
her duty before she do tht.

Hasienda: Dona Ines and Bernando greeted the guests.
Jeremy came to say hi to them. Harold was so happy and
take pictures of 3 of them together. Later he handed
the camera to Jeremy and told him to take his pictures
with Bernando and Dona Ines. He pulled dona Ines closed
and touched his cheek to Dona Ines cheek. Dona Ines
told Jeremy to hurry. Harold told Dona Ines to imagine
tht he will go far away, like Africa and this was their
last time together. Dona Ines smiled for the picture
and told him to shut up.

Miguel greeted his family. I dont' wht they were
talking because there were no subtitle for a while.
Later Miguel kissed Dona Ines' hand and introduced her
to his family. His father, Miguel Tojerois, his mom
Eugenia Tojerois. And his two sisters, Eguenia and
Leonor. He then introduce Dona Ines and Bernando to his family.

Barbara and Berneice approached them and he introduced
them too. Harold was taking pictures and later went to
introduce himself as the family's black pearl. He
turned to dona Ines and smiled. He told them not to be
afraid of him, he snapped more pictures and Dona Ines
told them to go to their seats.

Dona Ines wanted to sit, later Berenice came and told
her tht she knew why Paloma was there. Dona Ines said
they agreed not to discuss this matter today. Barbara
quickly told her tht Paloma worked for Coffee Council.
She was working with Roberto Allevaneda. Dona Ines
cannot believe tht. Barbara suspected tht Paloma might
already seduced Roberto. Don Ines asked for proof.
Berenice said the collectors knew about this because
Paloma stayed with them tht night. Later Joaquin,
joined them, he was one of the cofeee council members.
Dona Ines was happy to introduce him because he knew
DOn Lorenzo pretty well.

Diego came out with Daniela, he saw Joaquin too, he
hope Jaoquin can tell him about Elena. Berneice quickly
asked Jaoquin about Elena olivares, Jaoquin admitted
tht she was sent there to explain to the coffee
collectors about the dangerous fungus tht had been
infecting coffee. Joaquin went away to talk to Diego.
Barbara said she will do everything she can to drag
Paloma out of the Council. Diego told her not to bother
Ploma or she will have to face the consequenses.
Barbara can't believe tht Diego still wanted to protect
Paloma even after knowing tht she was a bitch. Diego
said he knew the truth and they were all involved in
framing him and Paloma, they send her out without her
money, stole her car and left her starving. DOna Ines
covered her mouth, she was surprised tht Diego already
knew about tht.

Dona Ines told him to calm down. He yelled no and
reminded them tht he will protect Paloma. Berneice was
boiling with anger when she realise tht Diego already
knew about Paloma after she left el Cafetalero. She
yelled "You knew!" Diego said yes, he knew everything
tht they have don. Dona Ines almost fainted. She told
Bernando to get her some water. Diego said he never
thought his loving fmaily was so cruel. He told
Berneice to stay out of this. Berneice was angry
because tht everythign tht was going on had everything
to do with her. Diego was still angry thth his family
would support and join Fabian's evil plan. HIs own
family lied to him. They committed crie and stole
paloma's moeny, Berneice yelled again and asked how
long ahs he been lying to her. He said he was not
lying. Daniela can't ake this anymore, and she sai
Diego just suggested Paloma's name to the council in
order to hel her.

He said he never heard of her ever since, until today,
when he saw her at the workers' camp. Diego said he
gave his word tht he will be with Berneice no matter
what. Barbara interrupted them and said Diego defended
Paloma. DIego yelled at her told her to shut up. Anyone
should be protected from a woman like Barbara. Dona
Ines gaped in surprise. Berneice walked away, Barbara
asked Diego if he knew wht Berneice was going through
now. Diego moved closer to her as if he was ready to
slap her. He told Barbara to mind her own business and
stop bothering him. dona Ines begged Diego to calm
down. Barbara told Dona Ines said she understood why
she was treated like this, she wasn't a part of the
family anymore.

She turned to leave but later she turned back to Dona
Ines and asked why was Fabian there.

Dona Ines turned and saw Fabian walked in with Angela.
She prayed to God and hope nothing bad will happen.

Hacienda: Miguel told his family tht Fabian had arrived.

Fabian said he was happy to be there. Diego
sarcastically said Fabian arrived at a very strategic
moment bcoz they need to talk about thier family and
how important it is to thank him for wht he did to
Paloma. Dona Ines begged him to relax for her sake. She
apologized for everything tht happened n took
responsitility of everything. Diego said it's too late
to cry. Bernando told him to watch his word while
talking to their granmdma. Diego was angry and wondered
if Fabian told Bernando to talk like tht. A boy came
telling them tht the priest was ready. Diego yelled at
the boy tht they will be there soon. Angela turned to
leave but Diego yelled from the top of his lungs
telling them to stay. Everyone was shocked and stayed
at their position.

Miguel was telling his family tht this was how this
family deal with problems, the family was now divided
into two. but they were loving family.

Fabian said it's not good to fight, he came back from
Miami not to hear his babbling. Diego said fabian
didn't understand why he was angry now. He said Paloma
had come back and now wht? they will compare wht happen
and make a conclusion or steal her money, take his car
and chase her out without giving her any money, Diego
yelled and called FAbian a theif. He was getting
uncontrolled and Juan Francisco came to join them and
asked wht was the problem. He can be heard from far
away. Diego said here come their favourite uncle. Wht
type of woman he had who leave him and spread fake
stories about Elena so tht she can't find any job. He
called his uncle an accomplise to wht happen to Elena
and leave her starving. Angela told him to stop telling
lies. Diego was angry and hit Fabian who tried to calm
him down. Later he was choking fabian and the whole
family tried to separate them. Halord was busy taking
pictures.

They finally separated. He said Fabian destroyed them
and even spread the news tht he slept with Paloma. Dona
Ines fainted. Diana came asking him why he's doing this
to her. She was crying.

Fabian and Bernando tried to help Dona Ines and Harold
got her some water. They pushed Diego away when he tried to help.

Miguel told his family to relax. Miguel asked Diego wht
was happening was he trying to destroy his marriage.
Diego told him to calm down and go speak to Diana.

Barbara told Leonor to get someone to take her to the
airport. She told Bernice tht Diego hit Fabian. Diego
was angry and called him spreading lies tht he's
Elena's lover.. Berenice wanted to follow Barbara go
but Juan Francisco stopped them. Barbara said she can't
stay to hear Diego called her bad names. Berenice said
they weren't the one who start this. Juan Francisco
asked if they wanted to destroy Diana's wedding. He
begged them not to go, think of their loved ones.

hotel: Soledad told Paloma tht she dreamt to stay at
tht hotel and eat good sea food. Paloma introduced her
mother to Victor. She told him tht her mother was a
collector too. Victor asked about her visit to
Casablanca. Soledad said Paloma did great and she even
went there as a worker. Paloma asked if any one from
the council called. He said no. Paloma seemed reliefed.
Victor said today was Saturyday and it was a holiday.
Victor told her tht there're medicine men who claimed
tht the fungus was a curse from God. They must stop tht
to avoid bad influence. They must triy to convince the
workers tht mediicne men can't do anything to stop the
fungus just by distributing healing water. Paloma
promised to try to help. Soledad said she can't just
try, she must do whtever she can to help..

Don Manuel's plantation: Someone came looking for
Matilde, Matilde hide behind the coffee tree.

Jeremy told Diego to control his emotions, he might
end up in jail. Diego said he had been keeping tht for
so long, he really wanted to hit Fabian and break
BArbara's and Angela's neck. Jeremy said he shouldn't
make Dona Ines sad. Diego regretted tht but she
shouldn't have involve in the plan from the first time.

Dona Ines said she knew tht this will happen. Danielaa
told her to calm down because Diego had relaxed.

Diana cried and said she can't believe Miguel seen her
in her wedding dress before the wedding. She knew this
was a bad omen. Miguel told her not to worry.

Harold took more pictures of Daniela.

Diana went to slapped Diego's shoulder and said he was
a pest and creating trouble. He turned everything
upside down. Diana even angry to Jeremy and accused him
trying to win her back because his girlfriend was gone.
Diego yelled to her so tht she also stop yelling. Diego
dragged her to follow him to Miguel and told her to
shut up, or else the wedding will never go on.

Diego went to Dona Ines and held her hand. Dona Ines
said she knew each of the family must beg for his
forgiveness. She apologized for wht happen and just
hope tht the wedding will go on. Diego promised to be
civilised again and promised not to stir anymore
problem. Dona Ines reminded them tht it's the
anniversary of Don Lorenzo's death. Lots of bad things
happen but they will always be together and beg for
God's forgiveness. The boy came again and told them tht
the priest was tired waiting for them.

Angela and Barbara and Berneice believe they must do
something to stop this. Barbara said maybe angela
should go back to her new daughter in law in Miami.

Berenice talked to Miguel and said too bad they chat
ended abruptly. She smiled and told him tht the baby
she was carrying didn't belong to Diego, it was his
baby. She congratulated him and left. Miguel fanned
himself with his hat and said "I'm dead"

A medicine man was doing his ceremony thing and
sprinkiling his magic water to the workers. Soledad and
Paloma listened to him. He was begging to God to
release the men from God's curse.

Paloma went to confront him. He called her a devil.

Berneice coughed loudly when the priest announced
Miguel and Diana as man and wife. Miguel kissed Diana
and Diego went to shake hands with Miguel. Dona Ines
asked Diego to shake hands with Fabian. Diego and
Fabian ahd to shake hands but Diego whispered to him
not to bother him and paloma ever again.

A Plantation farm: Paloma asked why was he lying? The
man said he was just helping the poor workers. Paloma
said she was trying to stop the fungus by using
chemicals. The guy said they will destroy the
collectors work. Paloma said she was going to help, let
them work again, not destroy them. The men who came
with Paloma distributed some pamplets. Paloma said
cuprum oxycloride will be used and the coffee council
care for them, the attack will subside after they use
the chemical. The man called her a devil. Paloma told
tht man to change his clothes and take a bath bcoz the
spores can spread thorugh worn clothes.

Hacienda: Diego confronted Berenice. Berneice didn't
want to discuss this. Diego said they had to. Diego
said he won't go back because he had promblems with
collectors. He had a feeling tht collection this year
will be very bad. Jaoquin reminded them tht they had a
meeting this Monday. Diego said he didn't want to be
chosen as the committee member again. Diego was staying
so Berenice decided to stay too. Joquin asked her to
join the meeting and it would take a little time. She
later said no, because the air at the hacienda wasn't
good for her baby. Diego told her tht they will meet next Tuesday.

Dona Ines tried to make Berneice and Barbara stay. They
said they were just going to take a walk and breathe
some fresh air.

Diego sat next to Daniela. Dona Ines said she talked to
her family and decided to discuss with her and they had

Hacienda: Dona Ines was praying to God that Barbara
forgive Fabian. Barbara pulled him up and kissed him.
Every one was relieved. Barbara said this wasn’t the
right way to make up. She agreed to cancel her flight.
Dona Ines wanted Bereniece to stay but she refused and
gave an excuse because Diego will be busy with a
meeting and a big problem with his workers. Diego
seemed angry and left the table. Dona Ines warned
Berenice tht her attitude might cause her to los Diego.
She wanted Berenice to prove tht wht the family had
been doing to save her marriage was worth it.

Diana came to join her family. Leonor told her and the
family tht Miguel left to send his family to the
airport and later he asked Aurelio to show him his
territory. The whole family gasped in shock. Juan
Francisco asked what territory?

Plantation: Miguel was with Aurelio. He didn’t like
hearing about the fungus attack on coffee. He was
hoping the hacienda had alternative plantation tht will
ensure their income. Miguel can’t want to hear
everything about the hacienda’s production but Aurelio
said he had to learn tht little by little.

Market: Soledad liked a dress and told Paloma to buy
it. Later Maria and her friends saw them and asked them
to join other workers at a cantina. They were having a
party. Soledad walked first. Paloma took the
opportunity to ask Maria updates about wht happened
last night at the workers’ camp. Maria said tht
everyone were angry and refuse to work unless Diego
agreed to increase their pay.

Hacienda: Dona Ines thanked God tht everything went
well. Angela quickly told Fabian tht she hope he knew
wht he was doing. Fabian saw Diego coming and asked for
forgivness. Diego told him to keep his good attitude to
himself. Fabian held out his hand in peace and hope he
won’t force him to go on his knees and apologize like
Barbara did. Dona Ines approached them and looked and
Diego with hope. Diego shook Fabian’s hand. Dona Ines

Miguel returned with some flowers for Dona Ines. He

She hope things will be better from now on. Aurelio
came and told them tht they were late and it’s time to
go to the airport. Dona Ines kissed Diego and said
goodbye and later Diego told Berenice tht he will be
back home on Tuesday.

Barbara told Berenice tht if she’s in her place, she
won’t leave Diego alone with Paloma walking around.

Daniela kissed Diego and whispered to him to send her
regards to Paloma. Diego smiled and later hugged Bernando.

Diana told Barbara to stop interfering with Berneice’s

Jeremy went to Diego. Diego wanted to go to the town.
They had to make the workers work as soon as possible.

Fabian said tht was ridiculous. She wanted to leave but
Fabian stopped her. He said he cannot do tht. Barbara
said tht was her condition. She wanted Marcia to feel
as humiliated as she felt when he left her. Marcia must
pay dearly. She wanted to see Marcia suffered.

Cantina: Diego entered the cantina. Paloma was singing.
People were enjoying her voice. After singing for a few
minutes, she turned towards the entrance and saw Diego
standing there. They looked at each other until the
song finished. Everyone clapped.

Plantation: Matilde seemed crazy and she was still hiding.

Restaurant: A man asked Jeremy about Don Manuel and
Matilde. He seemed like a policeman. Jeremy seemed a
little nervous. He said many people came to him to
report tht Don Manuel was missing. He said tht man
should have returned, unless he died. Jeremy told him
to talk to Matilde.

Plantation: Matilde was still hiding behind coffee trees.

Soledad and Paloma decided to go watch a machete dance.
(or should I translate it as blade dance? –scratch
head-) Diego blocked them.

Josefina bumped into Aurelio. She need a job but
Aurelio said she should not be at the hacienda because
Leonor was there. Josefina said he wasn’t the boss.
Aurelio said Diego will never accept her again because
she had been giving out information about Paloma to
Barbara and Berenice. Aurelio left.

Diego was yelling out loud tht he need to discuss about
their work. Paloma told her mom tht they should try to
leave but Diego force her to stay because wht happened
had everything to do with her. Paloma yelled back
saying tht she didn’t work for him. Diego accused her
being at the hacienda to influence his workers to go
against him. Paloma denied tht. Maria tried to defend
Paloma but Diego told her to shut up. Diego blamed
Paloma acting as if she knew about the hacienda account
tht he was making big money from all these. He told
them to think where he got the money to pay a worker
and times tht by 800. Paloma insisted tht she was sent
for another reason, Diego wonder if it was to make the
workers go on strike. Diego turned to the other workers
and said now tht Paloma didn’t have anything to do with
this, he wanted to discuss with them. He suggested tht
Paloma stay as an observer. Maria agreed tht they
discuss it now. Diego said the same thing happen last
year where he had to make a bank loan in order to pay
their wages. He said they received a much much higher
pay compared to workers in other haciendas.

Paloma said the pay they received equals the meal he
had with his wife at a high class restaurant. Diego
told her to calculate a worker pay and total up in her
mind how much he had to pay 800 workers and then the
cost tht he had to pay. She said the export of coffee
would give him lots of profit. Diego defended himself
and yelled saying he didn’t accept any money from the
export managed by El Cafelatero, the only reason he was
there was because of her. He held her and shook her
like a mad man. If not, he would be staying at the
hacienda forever. Diego said he’s just like the
workers, he was born there, lived there and so was his generations.

Soledad pushed them apart and suggest tht they go watch the machete dance.

Outside: some couples were dancing with machetes in
their hands. It looked like a choreographed machetes
fight between a man and a woman. Paloma sarcastically
told Diego to show them how to do the dance since he
was born and raised there. He went to get a pair of
machetes and dared her to be her partner in the dance.
She accepted the bet and said if she won, he must give
the workers a raise and if she loses the workers will
start work soon. The workers applaud and cheered.
Paloma grabbed her own machetes and they started
dancing and swinging their machetes. It seemed like a
kadazan dance minus the machetes. They started slicing
the machetes towards each other and the machetes met in
the air like the sword fight. They continued attacking
each other and Paloma manage to make Diego fall. He got
up continue to dance. This time he manage to disarmed
Paloma and stopped her from getting her machete back.
She lost. He told her tht he wanted to talk to her alone.

The photographer who tricked Paloma 3 years ago was
watching them from the crowd, he was trying to stay low
to avoid Paloma from recognizing him.

Soledad told Paloma to solve things out with Diego and
she will wait for Paloma at the hotel. Diego suggested
tht they go to the place where they had tequila together.

On the way, Paloma saw the photographer and she went to
attack him. She told him to look at her carefully and
remember tht she was the girl who he tricked. Diego
grabbed her back and the photographer said she was
crazy, he said he didn’t know her. Paloma launched
herself towards him and pushed him down. She said he
destroyed her dreams, ruined her future. He swore tht
he never seen her before because he was new in town.
Paloma cried and turnd to Diego, she said tht was the
man who made her a prostitute. Paloma attacked the man
again, the people around was watching wht was
happening. The man swore tht he never knew tht she was
forced to be a prostitute, his duty was just taking
pictures of models. He said he was jailed and paid for
his crimes. He began to cry and told them to stop
hitting him. Diego grabbed him and shook him saying tht
he will kill tht man. Diego said he made Paloma
suffered and he had to suffer to and pay each tears tht
Paloma had shed through the years. He was choking tht
man, his nose was bleeding and his eyes widened. Paloma
grabbed Diego and threw him away, they were working as
tag team hitting tht man. Paloma choked him hard and
later she broke his camera.

Later they were at the stall drinking tequila. He
apologize for having doubts towards her stories. He
held her hand but she pulled away. She said nothing
changed after he knew the truth. Jeremy came looking
for Diego. Paloma greeted him. Diego told him to go
back with Aurelio because he had solved the problems
and the workers will return for work tomorrow. He said
he wanted to stay with Paloma.

Berenice/Diego’s apartment: Bereniece was on the phone
when her parents arrived. She hang up and told them tht
she hated being pregnant and it’s making her tired. She
cried when her mom asked about Diego. She said she
can’t take it anymore.

Stall: Diego told Paloma about how Berenice got
pregnant through artificial insemination. She was
pregnant after he was separated from her. He had to
admit tht was his child and wanted Paloma to understand
his situation. Paloma said they never had a chance to
be together anyway. The lies spread about her was more
than enough to destroy her. Diego held her hand and
said he will never forget her. Even Berenice knew about
this. Diego didn’t want her to hear this as Paloma but
hear him out as a woman. He didn’t mean it to end it
this way. He thought by being a father he can forget
her but tht will never happen. It’s weird tht he didn’t
feel any affection towards the child Bernice was
carrying. Paloma said his wife suffered a lot for him,
she was willing to get pregnant to keep him as her
husband. She said tht must end this. The child need his
full attention. She should leave him and it’s for the
good of his child. Diego must be loyal to her and his
family and take care of his child, his home, his
family. She believe his life will change after his
child was born. She wiped her tears. Paloma can’t pay
the bills coz her mom got her purse. Diego said he will
add tht to her list of debts to him like her TV and
their first tequila 3 years ago. She said she never
forget tht. Diego admitted tht this was like a dream.
It felt as if times go backwards. He remembered her
aroma, her song. Paloma told him to stop this stupid
conversation. Diego asked why was she doing this,
Paloma said she new from other workers tht he was lonely at
the hacienda, she sang tht day because she wanted him

Bernice’s/Diego’s apartment: Bernice told her parents
tht Diego suggested Paloma’s name to the coffee council
and send her to the hacienda. Diego ran to Paloma when
she purposely sang for him to lure him to her. Diego
claimed tht he and Paloma was the victims. Her mom said
they cannot just let tht happen. Bernice said she
cannot take this anymore, she cried. Her dad asked if
Diego and Paloma were together now, she didn’t know and
she didn’t think tht they would be together at the
moment. She swore tht she won’t go back to Diego if the
had seen each other again. She said she cannot keep
living with the doubt tht Diego woul be loyal to her.
Her dad said she cannot separate from Diego especially
when she’s pregnant like this. Bernice cried again and
said if she kept on being like tht, she might lose her
baby. Her dad wanted to take a lawyer’s advice first.
Bernice asked if he can see the lawyer today. He said
he can’t because it’s Sunday. Bernice really wanted
this to end fast. She told her dad to call the lawyer
at home. Her mom passed the phone to him.

Outside: Diego and Paloma were touching each other’s
faces and Diego said why she suggested was stupid. He
believe tht his family will make her job at the coffee
counsil miserable, she knew tht when alevaneda new
about this, she would be fired and he would swallow her
alive. She admitted tht she deserved to be treated tht
way. She pushed his hand away which was touching her
face. She wondered what was Bernice’s feeling, she felt
responsible for wht happen to Bernice. Diego admitted
tht he was the one who kept making her dwell in
trouble. Paloma looked at him and said tht’s was the
reason why she wanted to stop meeting him. Being with
him made her do stupid things. She wanted to go back to
her hotel. He wanted to send her back but she refused.
She must forget him. She wanted him to take this as a
dream tht had just ended. He shook his head and said
this wasn’t a dream at all and it definitely should not end here.

They were kissing when Ramon came and told them tht her
mom went back to the hotel. Diego wanted him to tell
Soledad tht he will send Paloma back. Paloma told him
not to be so stubborn. Diego said she didn’t have to go
anywhere. He asked if she didn’t want to be with him.
She quickly answered ‘no’. Diego said if tht so, they
had to go someplace else. He bent down and pulled her
over his shoulder and carried her away. Paloma yelled
for him to put her down.

Night..
Aurelio get a call from Bernice who asked for Diego He
told her tht Diego went to town to solve the workers’
problem. She asked where did he stay for the night,
Aurelio said he didn’t know. Bernice was angry and
started yelling why Aurelio left Diego alone in town.
She wanted to know if he was with Paloma. Aurelio said
‘no.’ She told him to make sure tht Diego call her once
he got back. Bernice hang up and said to herself “tht
is if he return home”.

Diego stopped his car. Paloma said he sent her back and
wht else he wanted from her? Paloma wanted to go out
but he pulled her back in. She told him to behave
himself. Paloma said there’s no point discussing the
photographer again because he paid for his crime. She
saw the tape she made for Diego and put it into the
cassette player. She was angry when she heard the song
because it was definitely her tape. Diego grabbed the
tape back and said it was his tape, his name was
written on the label. She said she recorded tht in
Pedro for her not for him. Tht was the only tape he had
now. She asked wht happen to the first tape she gave
him 3 years ago. He said he burnt it together with some
of her other stuff. It happened when he returned to the
hacienda and didn’t know how to forget her. Everything
he looked reminded him of her. So he burnt everything
including the cabin. Now he only have this cassette,
she can’t take tht away from him. She had tears in her eyes.

Diego/Barbara’s apartment: Barbara and Fabian were
making out when Bernice called. Bernice told Barbara
tht Diego had not return to the hacienda, he was still
in town settling the workers’ problems and she doubt
tht wht he was doing at the moment. She said she should
have listen to Barbara but now it’s too late. She
wanted Barbara to help her go to the coffee council and
meet Roberto Allevaneda. Barbara agreed to help and
told her not to worry. She hang up and looked at Fabian
with a glare. Fabian didn’t want to involve in this,
Diego will hate him. Barbara tried to sweet talk him into helping her.

In Diego’s car: Diego asked how long will Paloma be
there. She said as long as the council didn’t fire her.
Diego believed tht she won’t get fired, he knew tht
Barbara and Berenice will do something but he also knew
tht Allevaneda will not do such thing. She hoped the
same thing. Diego told her to stop worrying. Paloma
said she’s worried of his wife. Diego said Bernice
already knew tht Paloma was gone. Paloma said tht was
good. She told him how much she enjoy working at the
Council and she loved her job but if her job kept
making her bump into Diego, she should quit. She didn’t
want him to search for her again. She cried. Diego
wanted to apologize again and she told him not to
mention the same thing over and over again. The story
of an unlucky collector ended here. Diego agreed to
forget tht and thanked her for listening to him and
thanked her for being with him for the night. He
suggested tht they stay as friends. They ca still hug
each other and friends won’t fight. And they must trust
each other. He hope she had the same opinion. He asked
for confirmation if they can talk to each other again.
They can still meet as friends.

She cried and wanted him to fulfill his promise to his
wife, she wanted to go out of the car but he stopped
her again. She wiped her tears. He didn’t want her to
leave without saying goodbye. They shook hands as
friends. She wanted to go out but he pulled her back in
and held her hands firmly with both his hands. He asked
for a goodbye kiss. A friend will always kiss goodbye.
He smiled but she shook her head. He touched his own
cheek suggesting a spot for her to kiss. She gave him a
quick peck on the cheek and tried to go out as fast as
she can but he stopped her again. She said good night.
He looked at her with hope in his eyes and asked for a
friendly hug. Paloma said they cannot hug and kiss each
time they met. He hunched his shoulders and said if
tht’s wht she wanted, he will be more than happy to
oblige. He added tht, friends do tht anyway. I was like
saying good night to a night as special as this one.
They both moved in towards each other at about the same
time and hugged. It was an emotional hug instead of a
friendly hug. He smelt her hair and closed his eyes.
The hug was a little too long and she pulled away and
sat back on her side of the seat. He said “I think this
friend had just fell in love with his friend.” He
laughed nervously and said “This happens right?” He
lifted his eyebrow and gave an innocent smile. She got
out of the car and this time for real and slammed the door.

Hacienda: Jeremy asked where did Diego go, Diego said
he went to heaven, he met Paloma and they talked like
friends. She listened to him about Berenice’s pregnancy
and he knew tht she believed his story.

Hotel restaurant: Paloma was angry with her mom who
didn’t wait for her. Soledad said she was the one who
told her to wait at the hotel. Paloma said she was just
going to talk to Diego for a while. Soledad complained
tht she, ramon and Maria walked passed her many times
and she didn’t even notice them because her attention
was directed to Diego only. Paloma said he sent her
back to the hotel. Soledad asked if they talked
everything out. Paloma didn’t know if the talk was
enough. She said if they talk a little longer, she will
be following him home. She begged her mom not to leave
her alone with Diego ever again. She even forgot
herself when she’s with him. Soledad said she should
control herself, she was dying to know wht they talked
about. Paloma said he was being himself, his voice was
soft, his eyes were sharp. She shook herself out of
Diego’s spell and said he told her how his wife got
pregnant. After he did his confession, she told him tht
she sang for him. It almost made her cry. She said tht
was it. Soledad didn’t believe her, she knew tht there
was something else. She asked how did his wife got
pregnant? Paloma said wht he told her was like a plot
in telenovelas. Soledad was excited to hear more.

Hasienda: Jeremy didn’t understand why Paloma told
Diego tht she loved him bu at the same time she wanted
to leave him. Jeremy wondered wht she really want from
Diego. Diego said she wanted nothing. He said he had to
wait. Jeremy told him to stop using the word ‘wait’ too
much. Diego said he noticed something different in
Paloma’s eyes. Jeremy said he was confused. Diego
offered to tell him every detail and lay out his plans.

Hotel restaurant: Soledad was surprised tht Berenice
was pregnant by herself through a process called
artificial insemination. Soledad gaped in horror when
Paloma compared the process with how people used the
same insemination process to impregnate cows in
Cordoba. LOL! Soledad was horrified to learn tht it can
be done on human too. She said she never heard anything
like tht in telenovela before. Paloma said no one will
believe tht this can happen. Soledad said tht was so
immoral. She said tht this clearly proved tht Diego
wasn’t the father, she said there’s no proof saying tht
Berenice was pregnant with Diego’s sperm. She believed
tht Bernice was pregnant with someone elses baby.
Bernice created a story to trick Diego. Paloma shook
her head. Soledad said only at this point it sounded
like a telenovela plot. Paloma suggest tht soledad
become Diego’s lawyer so tht she can use tht detail as
Diego’s defense. Paloma refuse the believe tht she was
the only woman Diego ever touched. It is obvious tht he
slept with his wife and the artificial insemination
story was just a cover tht he created to gain her
trust. Soledad was surprised tht Paloma and Diego
decided to break up. His wife was pregnant and he will
be a father, she must go on with her life and work hard
for a living and try to forget him.

Diego told Jeremy tht Paloma held his hand. He believe
tht things will change after his baby being born. He
said this meant Paloma looked forward seeing him be a
father, and there’s hope for him to be with her. He
said his marriage to Bernice was full of trouble.
Jeremy asked if he was going to divorce Bernice, he
said yes, he was waiting for the right moment and he
will win Paloma back. Jeremy asked if he ever thought
tht will Paloma accept him back? Diego was confident
tht she will. It was in her eyes and he felt it in her
kiss. And He also knew very well where to find her now,
he can always see her again because now they were friends.

Soledad unconvincingly said “friends?” Paloma doubted
tht too. She never seen him tht way before, he even
begged her to kiss and hug him. Soledad smiled.

Paloma said he was someone else’s husband, she prefer
meeting him and having fights with him and yelling at
each other like they always do. Soledad shook her head
and found tht it’s weird that Paloma liked things like
tht. Paloma didn’t want Diego to have high hopes
towards her. She didn’t want to interfere with his
marriage. She said no matter how much she try, she will
never forget him. She promised tht she will try to see him as a friend.

Jeremy think Paloma was right. Diego must fulfill his
promise to Bernice. It was for the sake of everybody.
Diego said tht was exactly wht he will do, he will keep
his promise to Bernice and make sure at the same time
tht Paloma stay at the Coffee Council where he can
easily find her. Later Aurelio came and told him tht
Bernice wanted him to call her back. She suspected tht
Diego went to see Paloma. Diego thanked Aurelio for
keeping his little secret. He didn’t want his family to
know about this. I must be kept a secret. He took the
phone from Jeremy and punched some numbers.

Berenice was eating when Diego called. She complained
tht he came home late. He xplained again tht he had to
see the workers to solve some problems. Bernice doubted
such problem took such a long time to be solved. He
said he need to convince the workers tht he can’t pay
them more. Bernice tried to control her angry woice.
She told him tht she will go to the doctor tomorrow.
She asked when he will return to Mexico city? He said
he’ll be there after the meeting. He will call her
later. She asked if he was with ‘her’, diego said no.
They said their goodbyes and hang up.

Diego told Jeremy and Aurelio tht he can’t tell Berneice the truth.

Soledad asked what else did Paloma hide from her?
Paloma contain her anger and tell her mom tht they met
the photographer who tricked her. After all these
years, tht man was the only one who can verify her
story about going to Europe. After talking to Diego she
came to realize tht Diego didn’t believe her stories,
he only believed her after tht photographer admitted
the truth. Diego was still having problems trusting
her. She said her story had ended.

Fabian/Barbara's house: Angela came. Barbara said they
will force Allevaneda to fire Elena Olivares. Angela
disagreed because she didn't want to face any more
problems with Diego, this problem must be solved by
Berneice herself, it's her problem, not theirs. Babara
insisted tht this was their problem too, Paloma will
have influnces in the council and can effect El
Cafetalero. She didn't want Paloma tohave any chance to
revenge them. They must help Berenice she told Angela
to stop worrying. They won't create any scandal. She
knew very well what to say to Roberto Allevaneda.
Angela asked who else will go wit them. Barbara said
they will fetch Berenice and Diana and Fabian will join
them too. Angela raised her eybrow and sighed. She
asked if Barbara confident tht Allevaneda will listen to them.

Barbara repeated tht she didn't have to worry, later
Fabian came and greeted his mom. Barbara excuse
herself. FAbian said Barbara was too obsess in
destroying Paloma. Angela told Fabian to quicly talk to
Marcia. She can't keep up with endless phone calls from
Marcia. She and her famlily was waiting for him to
return. Fabian said he won't return to Miami anymore.
Agnela said if he was jocking. He said he was very
serious. He said if Marcia call again, just tell her
the truth and said tht now Barbara had calmed down and
he will see Marcia later to explain. Angela didn't want
to do tht. He wanted to cancell the wedding. Angela
said he can't do tht, it will ruin his reputation. He
can't just leave Marcia like tht. He can't do this to
his own mother. She said where will they hide their
faces after this was known to public. Fabian said he
didn't care about tht. He knew tht if two or three
months after marriage, he will definitely divorce with
Marcia. Angela asked where was his hatred towards
Barbara, he said now he realise tht he cannot live
without Barbara. Angela asked if it was tht bad tht
made him can't breate, he said he needed Barbara,
eventhough it costs his a lot. Angela still can't
believe tht Fabian begged her in front of the whole
family and lose his dignity. Fabian said there's no
single mariage tht went through a pure happines.
Angela didn't care wht tht meant but he let Barbara
took over his freedom. From now on, he will obey
Barbara. Fabian nodded and said he was will to take the
consequences. He wanted his mom to understand tht if he
wanted to keep on living, he need Barbara. No matter
how much this hurt her, he needed Barbara and tht's a
fact. Angela still didn't understand. Later BArbara
came and asked if they were ready. Angela said she will
do whatever Barbara wanted to. Fabian and Barbara
turned to the door. Angela smacked her own forehead and shook her head.

Diego told Jeremy tht he will attend a meeting to chose
a meeting to choose a representative to the coffee
congress. Jeremy said he will be there but didn't want
Diego to expect him to be there forever. He had to
think of his own future too. Diego said the hcienda is
his house too, all he had to do was go to Matilde's
house and get his stuff back. Jeremy said he will never
return there. He wanted to buy new clothes and get a
new job. Diego wante dhim to take care of the hacienda
for him if he didn't want to follow him go to Mexico city.

Dona Ines House: Diana smiled and told Dona Ines,
Harold and Daniela tht Miguel changed his mind and
won't go to Australia, Dona Ines was so happy. Daniela
asked wht happen with Australia? Did they refuse to
accept him? Diana defended her husband and said Miguel
decided to turn down the offer. Daniela asked wht would
he do for a living? Keep himself loked in his wife's
arms? Tht will bring no profit at all. Dona Ines warned
Daniela to watch her mougth. Daniela said she was just
joking because she's happy tht they decided to stay.
Dona Ines wondered if he got better offer in Mexico.
Dona Ines asked where. Miguel said in a plantation and
asked "Have you heard of Hacienda Casablanca?" Dona
Ines was surprised to hear tht and Daniela asked "our
hacienda casablanca?" as if to confirm wht she heard.
Diana said Diego offered Miguel to be the manager of
Casablanca and he accepted it. Miguel said he can't
refuse to work in tht heaven. Diana said they will stay
at the hacienda. Dona Ines asked if they were serious.
Miguel admitted tht it won't be easy for him to adapt
with the situation ther but he didn't want Diana to be
away from her beloved family. Daniela nodded knowingly
trying to understand wht's going on behind Miguel's
decision. Dona Ines asked if this will interfere with
Miguel's career. Diana said Miguel was willing to do
anything for her. Daniela chewed her food and eyed
Miguel. Miguel was babbling about having breakfast at
the plantation and enjoying the beauty of sunrise. Then
enjoying the flowers during the afternoon. Drinking
camri with orange fruit. Harold and Daniela were
already laughing. Dona Ines said tomorrow they will
have a little religious ceremoney for Don Lorenzo and
the whole family will gather and insisted tht they must
celebrate this good news. Fabian returned to Barbara,
Diego and Bernice finally together and mow miguel and
diana were going tostay in Mexico. Dona Ines smiled.
DAniela hugged Harold and added "..and Daniela was so
in love with her boyfriend.." she kissed Harold over
and over again until Dona Ines told them to stop. They
maid came to tell Diana tht Barbara was waiting for
her. Daniela asked where was she going with BArbara.
She said to places where married woman go, she's going
to a salon and having afternoon tea together with
Barbara. Daniela laughed and said she thought Diana was
an ordinary woman, Diana said she's married and she
must act like a married woman. Daniela wondered where
did she learnt about this stuff. Diana was tired
arguing with Daniela and excused herself. She gave her
husband a kis and then kissed her grandma and left.
Harold looked at her with hope tht she would kiss him
too but she ignored him.

Diego was at the meeting and he seemed like he was lost
in his thoughts. The members of the meeting was
discussing about their decreasing production by 50% and
the government refuse to increase the coffee price.
Then It was time to vote, Diego was still lost in his own thoughts.

Plantation: Paloma was explaining to the workers tht
the spores gathered behind the coffee leaves. If they
saw it they must report to the supervisor. They must
not pluck the leaves and abandon the plantation and
wait for the people from the ministry department to
come. She asked if they all understand, they said yes.
She told them to spread the words. Paloma told her mom
tht she felt something bad will happen. Soledad
wondered if it had something to do with Diego.

Coffee Council: Fabian and Barbara, Diana, Angela and
Berenice arrived at the coffee council. They met Susana
and Barbara introduced herself. She asked Susana how
long Elena had been working in the Council. Susana said
more than 3 months. Fabian was surprised tht Barbara
and Susana knew each other. Barbara said she used to
call Susana a few times to confirm if Fabian came to
the meeting or went to meet one of his mistresses.
Diana can't imagine what Diego will think if he knew
about this. She's staring to regret being a part of
this plan. Angela told Diana to relax. Berenice said
Diego can say whatever he wanted to but he must repect
her. He can't hide his lover here.

Later Allevaneda arrived and was surprised to see the
whole family there. Barbara said they only need 5
minutes of his time. Allevaneda told them to enter his
office. He said he was in a hurry, coz he had an
important meeting to attend. Barbara said they wanted
to discuss about Elena Olivares. Allevaneda admitted
tht he was the one who employed Elena because she fit
the characteristics they needed and she had a good
recommendation from her past employer. In tht letter,
Diego denied Barbara's stories about Elena. Barbara
admitted all tht had been cleared. Allevaneda said tht
had nothing to do with him taking an employee. Elena
was one of the best officer they ever had. Barbara said
they thought the same too. Roberto Allevaneda told them
to be truthful to him. All this was personal, this is
the coffee council office, they can't come because of
personal problems they had with Elena. Angela
apologized and said this has nothing to do with
personal problems but they wanted to specifically talk
about his excellent officer. Barbara said Elena stayed
at the workers' camp without permission and get drunk,
she created trouble at Diana's wedding. She sang to
lure Diego to come to her and ignored Berenice. Barbara
said Elena had been trying to seduce Diego for a long
time. Berenice said he can see tht she's heavily
pregnant now and tried hard to come here and Elena had
destroyed her life. For the good of the Caouncil, he
must end Elena's contract and fire her. Allevaneda gave
tht a consideration. Angela and Barbara raised their
eyebrows and looked at Allevaneda and Fabian
alternately. Fabian was very quiet and was just
observing everything.
