Mia 76th episode Coffee council: Allevaneda told his secretary to get Victor to see him at his office as soon as possible. The whole family thanked him for wht he ws doing. Allevaneda congratulated Diana for her marriage. Fabian was the last who came to Allevaneda and thanked him for agreeing to meet the girls. Allevaneda asked about his factory in America and he said he was hanging on because the americans now building more factories just like him. Allevaneda hope he will make it eventhough there's no confidence showed on his face. Allevaneda asked Fabian wht should he do with his wedding invitation card. Fabian told him to throw it away. There will be no wedding. Allevaneda warned him tht Marcia's father was very important man in coffee exports, he will destroy Fabian. Barbara was talking to Susana, while Diana was talking to Berenice. She tol dBernece about herslef and Migeul will not go to Australia. They will surprise the family tomorrow with the news. Barbara joined them and smiled. She was confident tht Elena will be out of job very soon. Berenice wondered what Diego would say after hearing tht they were here. Victor went to meet Allevaneda. Allevaneda said it was a stupid mistake to send Elena to Casablanca. Victor said tht was a part of Elena's job. The Hacienda had the most workers working in it's plantation. Roberto Allevaneda said Elena had personal problems with the Sanches Zambranos family. Roberto ordered tht Elena must return to Mexico city as soon as possible. He need to talk to her. Victor said thre's so much plantation tht she had to go. Roberto insisted tht Elena must return. Victor rose from his seat and headed to the door. Roberto called him back and asked if he had any problems with Elena. Victor sai he had no problems at all, she was an efficient woman. Roberta asked if he ever had any personal problems. Victor asked if he meant 'personal' as relationship, and flirt with eye contact, he confirmed tht she never did tht. Elena was serious with her work. Roberto thanked him and he left. Hotel: Paloma and her mom were discussing wht to eat. The woman at the counter gave her a message from Roberto. She knew tht will arrive sooner or later, Roberto ordered her to come back as soon as possible. Soledad suggested they tell this to Diego. Paloma wanted to solve this by herself. Soledad said they must tell Diego so tht this problem will end. Paloma thought tht it was her mistake and she was the one who must face the consequences. They left to pack their bags. Town: Diego congratulated Jaime, the man who was elected as the next representative to the coffee congress meeting. Jaime smiled weakly and said this felt like he shouldn't be congratulating him, instead he should sympathise with him. Diego said bid his farewell and left. His friends discussed tht Diego seemed thinking of something else and didn't pay attention to the meeting at all. Fabian/Barbara's apartment: Fabian and Barbara returned to their house. He hope she was satisfied with wht she did. He wanted to go back to Miami and solve his problem with Marcia. Barbara disagreed. FAbian said he will break up with Marcia today. Barbara didn't respond, she went to the phone and dialed a number. She called one of the magazine office and introduced herself. She told the person tht she wanted to fix the false news published in the magazine. She agreed to meet them with her husband. Fabian was having a major headache. Barbara said tht news was like a music to the reporters' ears. She told Fabian to wear a necktie and later volunteer to choose one for him. FAbian asked if she going to have a news conference, Barbara called another number and told Fabian to put on a happy face for her. He pulled a bitter smile and went upstairs. Miami: Marcia was shocked to hear from Angela tht Fabian returned to Barbara. She said Fabian proposed to her in front of her friends and family, so if he wanted to break up with her, he must do it in front of her friends and family too. Angela told Marcia tht she was as shocked as Marcia. El Cafetalero (on the phone) : ANgela apologized tht she had to break the news to her. (Juan Francisco entered the office and heard Angela) Miami: Marcia said Fabian must come and meet her and cancel the engagement just the was he started the engagement. She won't take anything less than that. Marcia angrily hang up. Miami: Marcia's dad entered the room. Marcia told her dad tht everything was fine. Her dad asked isn't fabian suppose to arrive? Marcia told him not to worry coz he will arrive anytime now. El Cafetalero: Juan Francisco said this was the reason he never agree with Fabian. Marcia's dad was apowerful man in coffee bjuisness if FAbian didn't show up, Carlos will came looking for him. Angela told him tht Fabian wanted to return but Barbara stopped him, she stated tht as her only condition. Angela said both of them must talk to Marcia's father to calm things down. Juan Francis dincl like seeing her father like this. Juan Cfrancisco reminded her tht tomorow they will have a religous gathering and Diana had a little surprise for them. Angela told her tht 'we' went to see Allevaneda today. She we explain 'they' were Fabian, herself, Barbara, Bernice and Diana. Juan Francisco knew tht they must have been trying to make Elena Fired. ANgela said Barbara was the one who came up with the idea. Juan Francisco said this will only be bad. Juan francisco they agreed to ingnore Elena and will not trouble her life ever again. Angela said ANgela was the one who search for Diego. Juan said it's nt their problem , let Diego handle tht and stop using dirty tactics to get rid of Elena. Hotel: Diego came looking for Elena but the woman at the counter tht she received an important message and had to leave. Fabian/Barbara's apartment: Fabian and Barbara were posing for the magazine and FAbian forced himself to smile. Later Angela called and wanted to talk to Fabian. The reporters started taking pictures again and FAbian smiled a little too much. Hacienda: Jeremy and Aurelio shook hands coz they will work together. Diego came and told them Paloma had to return. He hope there was no problem. Aureloi told him tht Daniela called, it's important. Coffee Council: Elena arrived and greeted Susana who didn't even look at her. She said Allevaneda waiting for her n the whole Sanchez Sambrano family was there. Susana seemed a little unfriendly now. Dona Ines house: Dona Ines received call from Diego. Harold and Daniela were busy playing a cd on computer. Dona Ines told Harold to slow it down. Dona Ines told Diego she's glad so many good news lately. Deigo asked to speak to Daniela, she reminded Diego tht he must come for the ceremony tomorrow. she passed the phone to Daniela. Harold brought the lapotop to Dona Ines while Daniela talked to Diego. Daniela told Dona Ines tht Diego soaid he will be the first to come. Daniela said something bad was happening, BArbara came early to pick up Diana, she said it's very suspeicous, she knew they wer not going to the salon n going to have tea together, she felt freaky when she saw Barbara waiting for Diana in the car together with Fabian and Bernice. Tht mean something bad is happenint. Diego said Allevaneda told Paloma to return. Daniela bet it had something to do with Fabian. Diego didn't want to bet, he's angry tht they were going against Paloma again. Coffee Council: Allevaneda was on the phone telling tht he can't come to the international coffee meeting. Susana came and told him Elena arrived. Allevaneda continue talking on the phone and later hang up wnen Elena arrived. He told her to close the door. He guessed tht she knew why he asked her to come back. Paloma said yes. Allevaneda said tht means the letter tht he's passing to her won't be a surprise for her too. She cried and asked if she was fired. Allevaneda turned on his seat and didn't say anything. Paloma picked up the letter. The phone rang and Susana picked it up. She told the caller tht Allevadea was with someone on the phone. Diego introduced himself and insisted wanted to talk to Alevaneda. Allevaneda said he talked to the Sanchez Sambrano family, later Susana came in and Allevaneda said he didn't want to accpet any calls so Susana left. Roberto asked how could she do such a mistake in Casablanca, she cried and said she had to go there because her boss asked her to do tht, she can't just refuse to go there just because didn't want to bump into Diego. She said she did her work and faced her consequences, she knew tht after this he will be worried of her actions. She plea tht she wanted to give an explanation. She pulled out documents proving tht she did her work and enclosed a report. Allevaneda said why didn't she asked for permision to sleep at the camp and sing with the workers. She said tht was just an exegration she was trying to do her job. She used to be a collector and told him imagine how she felt when she met her friends again. She said the Council was not to blame, it was all her fault. She's happy being with her people, the men and women who shared her sadness, when she's hungry, tired and they made her happy. She didn't understand why he was angry with her for sleeping at the camp, they were also a big part in the coffee buisness. Allevaneda said she can't spent the night on a private property without permission. She said she was with the collector as a part of her job and asked if she being at the coctail party was also unauthorised by the owner of the property for mixing and minggling with the higher class coffee business people. She was getting angry and said tht was her only mistake, actually everthing tht happen because she met Diego. She said Diego didn't know tht she was there. She had been thinking of him all night and she felt herself as Paloma again and sang. She didn't know tht Berneice was there and she also didn't know tht she was pregnant. She sat and said wht she said was to explain tht the mistake was not did by an officer from the Coffee Council, it was done by Paloma a collector. She said tht's all she wanted to say, she picked up the letter and said she let him down and accepted the consequences, she apologize for betraying his trust, she thanked him and left. Susana asked wht happen, Elena didn't say anything. Susana said Diego was on the phone and wanted to talk to her, he was too worried. She took the phone and said hello. Hacienda: Diego stood up and asked wht did Allevaneda said. She told him not to worry bcoz she will take the responsibility. Diego called Paloma but she already hang up. Susana told him tht Paloma left, Diego told Susana to run after Elena and not to let her go, he still wanted to talk to Allevaneda. Susana connect the call to Allevaneda, at first Allevaneda didn't want to talk but Susana said he waited a long time. Allevaneda was babbling to Diego and told him tht his whole family came and angry with him for sending Elena to the hacienda. Diego said Elena didn't know he was there. Allevaneda didn't want him to turn his office into a family war zone. Diego said Elena didn't do anything bad, she did her job. Allevaneda said his family didn't compalint about Elena but complained about an officer form coffee council who broke the rules. She entered the hacienda wihtout permission to stay and sang with other collectors, being a niusance to Diego's pregnant wife. Tht was why he had to fire her. Diego said wht if the owner of hacienda didn't file any report. Roberto said Berniece came to report to him herself. Diego said he was the owner of the hacienda, and he's not reporting any violation. He said Allevaneda's officer did a good job. Victor's office: Victor was with Mariano. He was complaining tht his secretary left him without any news or note. Later Elena/Paloma came in and collect her stuff, she told Victor tht she was fired for wht happen at the hacienda, she was crying. Victor didn't want her to go bcoz if Allevandea wanted to fire her, he must discuss with Roberto. Victor left to talk with Allevanda. Mariano asked her to have some coffee. Roberto's office: Diego said he's speaking as the owner of Casablanca, if Paloma's song make Berenice uncomfortalbe, it's his job as a husband to calm her down. His family had nothing to do with this. Allevaneda said Diego was making this worse, Diego said he didn't complian anything and everhthing else happen outside of the hacienda. Allevaneda said this will invovle his work. He said he and Elena broke their promised and started this problem. Diego said he just want him not to fire Elena. He swore on his granddad tht he won't create trouble again. He said the job was important to Elena, and it's not her fault. They were the one who bothered her. Victor came in Allevaneda's office and Allevaneda told Diego to call him back in 15 minutes. He hang up Victor wanted to know why they firing a good and efficient worker as Elena. Allevaneda admitted tht he was feeling guilty releasing Elena and decided not to fire Elena, but they going to transfer her to another city. Elena told Susana tht Mariano was told to watch over her so tht she won't go any way. Susana said many people didn't want her gone. Elena left any way and later Victor came out and told Susana to run after Elena and not to let her leave the building. Mariano went to see Allevaneda. Mariano told Allevaneda tht he had been a mess since his secretary left. He said he can't get another secretary as easy as getting a wife. Allevaneda said Lissette didn't just leave, she sent in her resignation letter. She can't stand the way Mariano work. Allevaneda said he'll give him another secretary. Mariano said he will like her if she is like Lissette. Allevaneda gave him a killer stare and Mariano laughed nervously and later shut up and left. Allevaneda buzzed for his secretary demanding for several aspirins. The phone rang and he yelled at his secretary to pick it up. Hacienda: Diego was waiting and later picked up the phone and dialed the coffee council number. Coffee Council: Elena entered with lots of books. Allevanda told her to sit. He wanted to discuss an said he will do something so tht she can work and so can he. Allevanda explained tht Diego will not prosecute her and instead he will send a praising later, congratulating her as the repsentative to the council who did an excellent job at his hacienda. Paloma was happy to hear tht. Allevaneda said he wanted to save her work. Paloma asked if he was serious tht he won't fire her. Allevaneda said tht was the formal version and hope wht she did won't happen again. Elena gave her word tht it won't happen again. The phone rang and Allevaneda answered the phone, Roberto put Diego on the speaker. Diego was told tht Paloma was hearing him too. Roberto said Elena will keep on working even though he knew tht he will receive problems from his family but he reminded them tht they made a big mistake, if he wanted to save Elena's life, they must not involve personal matter in their work. Paloma agreed not to meet Diego again. Diego also promised to be far away from the council and Paloma as far as he can. Diego said the hug they had outside the hotel was really the last hug of two friends. He wanted her to promise tht they will stay as friends forever. Paloma agreed and said "friends forever". Roberto apologize for interfering in her personal life, he cfelt sometihng wierd as if listening to two teenagers talking. Paloma said yes. Plaoma was ready to go vack to the haciendas. Allevaneda said no need because he and victor discuss tht she must not be close the sanchez smbrano so they wanted to change her to another city. She wondered where, Roberto hadn't decided and hope she understoo why he was doing tht. She understood. Allevandea said she can choose but she said no and hope he will send her far away from this city. She stood up to leave but Allevaneda said their manager Mariano was very busy since his secretary quit in the public relation department. He asked if she can replace the secrerary for a while, she agreed to fill in. She thanked him and they shook hands. Susana asked wht happened. Paloma said she hated tht question. Susana wanted to know wht really happen since the whole family was there. Paloma sai dshe will tel her to sto p her doubt and made susana prmised not to ask again tomorow. Palom atold her tht when she was at the hacienda casablanca she slept at the workers camp without authorization, had party and sang with her fellow collectors. The wife the boss didn't like her so tht why they came. Susana asked if th was true. Palom a gave an exxagerated "Yes" and said tht family never really liked her. Susana thought this was happening because of her romantic relationshjip with the hacienda's boss. Susana said she wanted to know more especially somehting tht sounded like as interesting as telenovelas. Paloma said she will be changed to another city. and she will be working for Mariano for a while. Susana told her tht Mariano was a bit worse than Victor Angeles. Elene cried a long no and later they both laughed. Elna left and said they will meet again tomorow. Later Susana received a call from Barbara. Barbara asked if Allevaneda met Ms Olivares, and she only had to say yes or no, Susana said yes. Thenm Barbara asked if Elena was fired, susana said she didn't know. Barbara said she will call again to morrow and wanted to have lunch with susana at a restaurant not far from the council. Barbara/Fabian apartment: Barbara told Fabaian tht she wanted to know wht happen to Elena but Susana was reluctant to tell her. Fabian warned her and said he didn't want her to go in and out of the councel as she like she she did in el cafetalero. he warned her not to involve him. Barbara smiled. Hostel: Soledad was worried if they really fight with Diego and she was realy fired and they were poor agian. Paloma told her to clam down and let her talk. Soledad brought some facial tissue so tht they can cry together. Paloma said wht she expected had happend. The Sanchez Sambranos went to the council to suggest the be fired, she felt hunted like a rabbit. Soledad asked wht was the ending. She said Diego defended her and even Allevaneda watched over her and listen to her talking to Diego. She felt tht he was observing her like a caring father. Soeldad said Diego dfended her and said goodbye? She said yes, they said good bye in a wierd way and never thought it will end this way. Hacienda: Diego never thought it would be this hard. Diego said when his child was born, he will return to the hacienda as soon as possible. Diego had to interfere to avoid Elena from being fired. Jeremy said he's worried of Diego, the separating will because him to be alone again and he will be a drunk again. Diego said this time no. Diego knew tht this time was really different, no anger in him, the bad memories disappeared and something nice appeared, it's sad but it's beautiful, they promised to be friends forever even though they will never meet again. Tht gave him hope. Restaurant: Paloma said she had no hope anymore, she didn't want her mom to be sad. Soledad wanted all these to end in a different way. She hope for a happy ending. She asked if Plaoma remembered a telenovela character tht ended in a happy ending. Ploma said she's said but she felt calm. Soledad said the day hadn't end and knew tht she can't easily forget Diego. It's easy to love and not easy to forget. Hacienda: Jeremy wish for all the best, he complained he was tired and can't sleep. Diego asked if she gave up searching for Matilde. he said yes. Diego pour him some tequila. Diego said he'll be going tomorrow at 11. Jeremy wondered if his family agreed tht he work at the hacienda. Restaurant: Paloma sang the same song by the juke box. Soledad watched her and hears triled don her cheek. FAbian/Barbara's apartment: Fabian was on the bed with Barbara sleeping on his chest. He touched the phone. Miami: Marcia was wating , alone. Diego/Berenice's apartment: Bernice was in bed alone, touching her stomach. Hacienda: Diego drank more tequilas. the song ended. Barbara/Fabian's apartment: Fabian was having breakfast when he olooked at the papers, he saw his pictures with Barbara. Barbara praised tht he looked photogenic in the newspapers. Coffee council: Victor arrived. Elena thanked him for supporting her. Victor said he did wht he felt right. She admitted tht she will work with Mariano. Victor was envy of Mariano who got an excellent assistant. She said it's her mistake and aapologize. Paloma hugged and kissed him and thanked him. Elena went to see Mariano. He was drinking something. He said Japanese are good at replacing gas-drink with non-gas drink, he turned and surprised to see Elena at the door. Elena asked for the names tht he need to announce about the meeting. he didn't know here he kept all the agendas. His place was all messed up and he had to searche all over the place for the document. he finally remembered to ask her name, she introduced herself. He told her lots of things to be done and she scribbled as soon as possiblem. He wanted to announce to the ad company tht they need to do a meeting. Before she left, he told her to take the cooled coffee with her. She said she prefer hot coffee, he mistaken her name and called her Malena. Mariano was suddenly poetic about coffee "Black like the devil, hot like hell, pure like an angel, as sweet as love. Paloma eyed him wierdly. Diego/Barbara's apartment: Barbara was on the phone with Bernice. Bernice said she saw the pictures in the paper. Barbara said Fabian had to do it because tht was her reconcilation condition. She told Bernice to get ready at 12 to 12.30 noon bcoz they will have lunch with Susana. Bernice said she can't because Diego was coming back. BArbara said tht was ir her war, Berneice was worried with Diego's reaction. Barbara said this was her rights and it's not importnat tht diego got angry. Seh said they wer einvolved in this and won't give up, they will do antyhig to get rid of tht collector. The door rang and Barbara ordered Fabian to open the door. Angela entered with the paper in her hand. Fabian said tht was Barbara's idea. Fabian said he wnont' there to do tht but now it's too late. Angela agredd tith it's too late and aske dif he ever thing of the consequences this was not a good way to react to Marcia. Angela demanded to know from BArbara wht was this. Barbara said this was just to prove tht Fabian didn' want to marry MArcia. Angela asked if they can do this different way. Barbara told Fabian not to interfere when she's talking to his mother. Barbara said she will do anyting to have Fabian. Angela said no doubt about tht. ANgela also told Fabian to leave them alone. Fbian left. ANgela said she had been very patient with Barbara n now shje made a very stupid mistake and creating new problmes to the family, Angela said Marcia's father was big exporters and el cafetalero wasn't tht big. BArbara sked wht class Marcia was in when she dared to take his husband away. Angela said when things calmed down they will talk again. Angela hope Barbara won't regret wht she done. Angela left in anger. BArbara tore the new papers into pieces. Miami: CArlos (marcia's father) belived tht Marcia was hiding something. THe marriage will be on in 24 hours and guest will be coming this afternoon. His wife showed him the paper with FAbian's pictures to Carlos. Carlos went angry and yelled. marcia heard him and came to join them. Carlos demanded to know when the last time she talked to Fabian. Marcia said FAbian rpomised to calol , CArlos was angry and started breaking this up. marcia ws surprised to see the picturese. Maria ran away when her father starting breaking things up including the chairs. Her mom tried to calm him down. Fabian/Barbara apartment: Fabian said Barbara had messed things up again. Barbara apologized tht she went out of line. FAbian said he didn' want to invlove in hers and Berenice's business, Barbara asked Fabian to send her to the restaurant. FAbian left without saying anything even when BArbara asked if she can borrow her car. Later the phone rang. The maid passed the phone to Barbara. it was marcia , crying on the phone, saying tht Fabian was a coward. MArcia said FAbian won't be able to escape and he will have to face the consequences. Barbara said she had a few seconds to leave her house adn stop bother her and her husband. She thretened to call the police. Outside: Fabian asked the man who was sweeping the floor if his wife went to any place, the man said BArbara didn't go anywhere, she was in the house all the time. Fabian smiled and acted as if nothng happened when Barbara came. they kissed. She found it's wierd why he was laughing. Fabian said the sweeping man told him a funny story. Miami: Marcia was crying and trowing things around (she was like her father) and now her dad tried to calm her down. He told her to sit and listen to him. His hand was bandaged. CArlos promised tht man will pay for wht he did. Marcia didn't have to involved herself, he swore tht Fabian will pay. Coffee council: Mariano was still working on the ad of the cooled coffee, now he called Elena, Selena. Mariano was having head ache with his upside down office. Susana came to ask her to join her for lunch. Elena doubted tht she can do tht coz she had a lot to do. Susana offered to get her some sandwich. Now Mariano called her Magdalena. Diego arrived and greeted Rocio. She told Diego tht Berenice went to see the doctor. He picked up an envelop and complained the credit card pay was too high. He told Rocio tht he will go to his grandma's. Restaurant: Bernice knew tht Diego will be very angry. Later Susana arrived and greeted them. Susana gave them peck on the cheek. Daniela told him tht Diana left with Dona Ines to find something to cook today. Daniela smiled and laughed while telling him tht Diego himself had just make Miguel the manager of el Cafetalero, Miguel sacrificed his work in Australia to accept Diego's offer. Diego shook his head. Daniela asked if the Paloma matter was solved. He told her tht Paloma was given a second chance. Daniela a said she kenw tht BArabara and Berneice will do anything to bother Elena. Restaurant: Bernice asked if Susana knew about Elena. She told her tht Elena had been stalking Diego even though his wife was pregnant. BArbara said even her husband was seduced. Barbara said Elena even seduced Alevaneda. She said Elena was immoral and not some one good to be friends with. She said Elena was wiling to befriend a receptionist in el Cafetalero and kicked the girl out and took over her work, in short time she became assistant manager. Diego said if he stay he will kept on bumping into Diego. He called her Malena and wanted her ot pass the report from Brazil. She told him tht Alejandra wanted to speak to him. She wrote a note and pasted it on his planner. He told her to sit and said he wanted to commersialised coffee. She took a file and placed it in front of him. Later she excused herself to make coffee and take some biscuit for him. She ignored his calls for 'Malena' and left. The trio were leaving when Allevaneda walked in. They told him tht they waited for a long time for him. Susana told him tht the mexico embassy in Washingto called and the custom office also called to tell them tht cuprum oxycloride had arrived. Elena saw the trio followed Allevaneda into his office. Berenice sweetly went to approach susana and aske dif she can help her. El Cafetalero: Diego told jeremy about Elena had been transfered to another department. He won't contact her because it's the best for them. He later told Jeremy tht Miguel and Diana will live in the hacienda and Miguel will be the supervisor because he turned down the offer to go to Australia. Jeremy was uncomfrtable with tht. Diego said they must keep Miguel busy so tht he'll get used to the job. Jeremy said he will have to find another house. Diego told him not to rush things and asked how ws everything. Jeremys aid everything going fine, and confirmed tht he found an extra ordinary coffee, coffee gourmet and if he had a factory, he'll do anything to get such coffee even at a high porice. Diego said he'll check the infomation and call him later. Later he hang up and said to himself "Gourmet coffee.." Coffee Council: The phone rang and Elena answered it. It was Alejandra again and wanted to leave a message for Mariano. Elena told her to hold. She covered the mouth piece of the phone and told mariano tht Alejandra waited for him at the restaurant for two hours. Mariano apologized and said he will call later. Elena handed him the phone and told her himself. He took the phone. Restaurant: Alejandra stood up and told him tht this was the 4th time he stood her up. Mariano said there was an urgent meeting. Alejandra reminded him tht this was their first anniversary. Mariano said he didn't forget tht but he had this important meeting. He said they will reschedule because this meetin gwill end very late. He asked Malena when will he have a free time, she said Frieday. mariano told Alejandra tht they will meet on Friday. Later they hang up. Coffee Council: He told 'Malena' tht he forgot. Elena said she will remind him everyday about the date. She smiled and asked if he wanted anything else. She said she had a lunch date. Mariano said he needed her there during this time. She can't oppose his decision. Roberto Allevaneda's office: Susana went to see Allevaneda and he told her to get Mariano and then he wanted Susana to ignore the Sanchez Sambrano girls and he didn' twant to see them ever again. El Cafetalero: Miguel came to see Diego at the office. They hugged. Miguel praised the building. Diego said he talked to jeremy and he will be working with Miguel to deal with the problems at the hacienda. (Miguel seemed surprised) Diego told him tht coffee was facing a dangerous threat from a fungus and wanted him to understand everything going on at the hacienda especially in handling the fungus problem. Diego wanted him to supervised the distributaion of cuprum oxyclorida. Miegula laguhed and asked "Oxy wht?" Diego explain to him tht the fungus was their greatest threat and if it started to spread at the hacineda they will go bankrupt. Miguel fanned himself with a card and said tht story made him shiver. Diego rolled his eyes. Miguel suggested tht they built a jacuzzi and he wanted to relax there, read some papers. He said wht worried him was he didn't even have his own car, he had to sell his car after receiving the Aurstralia offer. Diego told him not to worry coz they had some vans and jeeps at the hacienda n he can use Diego's jeep. Miguel said diana was with Berenice. Diego knew tht something must be going on when those two were together. Fabian/Barbara's house: Angela warned Fabian tht Barbara was manipulating him. Fabian laughed. He said the holidays she had been having were just lies. She locked herself in the apartment the whole time. Angela said a normal human won't do such a thing. Fabian said he found invoices in her purse tht hadn't been used. Fabian smiled and said tht was soothing him. Angela hope Fabian won't regret beign back with Barbara. Later Barbara arrived. he greeted her. Barbara asked if Angela came as Marcia's representative. Angela said no, she came to apologize and she didn' tknow how to show how happy she was. Before leaving Barbara asked Angela to visit them. Agnela said she will come with Juan Francisco. SHe approached BArbara and asked about their latest meeting with Allevandea. Barbara said Allevaneda can only transfered her to another office. Coffee council: Susana told Elena tht Allevaneda wanted to meet Mariano and discuss the cuprum oxycloride campaign. Susana was checking the magazine while Elena went to tell her boss. She knocked and open the door, Mariano was with two other men passing some papers around. She told him tht Allevaneda wanted to talk to him about the oxycloride campaign. He agreedto aske 'Malena' to go meet Allevaneda and be there on his behalf. Elena went to Susana and said she will go meet Allevaneda on mariano's behalf. She apologized tht she can't join Susana for lunch. Susana smiled and asked if 'tht man' called. Elena complained tht she was exactly like her mom. Elena said she didn't call him and he didn't call her. Susana told her not to be angry because it was just a woman's curiosity. Elena smiled and promised tht if anything important happen in her relationship, she will be the first to know. Elena left. Elena entered Allevaneda's office. He asked for Mariano and she told her tht he was busy with some representative from the advertisement company. She gave him the documents regarding the cuprum oxycloride campaign. Berenice/Diego's apartment: Berenice was angry and yelling to Diana tht Elena being transfered wasn't good enough for her. Graciela went out, Diego told himself as if he was talking to Paloma, he said he needed Paloma at work. Graciela returned to her table and receive a call from BErenice. Berneice cut her babbling short and asked if Diego was at the office. Berenice said she wanted to know if Diego leave the ofice today or had he receive any calls from the coffee council. Graciela scratched her forehead and said no. Berenice asked if Graciela would recognise Elena Olivares' voice in case she called. Graciela sighed and said how can she forget tht microbe voice. Berenice told her tht Elena worked at the council now and if she called, make any appointments or meeting, she wanted to know everything.Then she asked to speak to her husband. She turned to Diana who was smiling. Miami: Fabian and Barbara arrived. Fabian told her tht nothing was changed, it was exactly the way she left it. Barbara wanted everything to be cleaned again. Later she asked Dolores where was her husband's clothes, she said they were in his room. Fabian called 'Mike' and asked about the coffee market. He was punching the keyboard of his computer. He complained to Mike tht his terminal can't access Mike's server. He kept on trying and told Mike tht he will call later. He was surprised to see tht his information disappeared. He yelled for Dolores. Barbara came to ask him wht happen. He asked Dolores who used the computer. Dolores said Marcia and her dad. He told Doloros to get out. He said his comptuer had be erased and all his personal information dissapeared. he seemed very worried. El Cafetalero: Juan Francisco adviced Diego saying tht every business man would think their coffee was the best. He said coffee Gourmet was very very hard to get. Diego said he trusted Jeremy's expertise in this and he confirmed tht they can get enough batch to go on. Juan Francisco said tht was hard to believe. COffee gourmet need complex process all the way, even marketing it would be hard. Diego said the price was very high and tht will benefit them. Juan Francisco said, it will be beneficial if the market went smooth, they will profit largely from tht coffee. Juan Francisco suggested tht he get help from the coffee council regarding tht coffee. He said Diego should talk to the Public relation department. Tht department involved in introducing new coffee product. Diego smiled and said the idea was very interesting. Juan Francisco warned him to becareful. Later he said just do wht ever he want as long as he felt tht was the best. Diego smiled. He was tired of all problems tht he had to face. He suddenly asked Diego if there's any hair appearing from his bald head. Diego was confused, Juan Francisco told him to ignore it. He wished Diego good luck and they shook hands. Before leaving, Diego asked him if there's something wrong, he said no., he complained tht diego still didn't tell him which gymnasium did he go to work out. Then he said tht's not important, and then he left. Diego was still confused with Juan Francisco's behavior. Night... Coffee council: Paloma was angry on the phone because the other caller can't deliver the brochures tht was supposed to arrive tomorrow. She was yelling to the phone and said her boss was too busy to talk right now. Elena said, if he liked it or not, he must speak to her. (Mariano was standing behind the door listening to her thunderous yelling.) She kept on yelling saying tht the broshure was important for them to distribute in time to stop the fungus attack and if the attack worsen, the caller was the one to blame. (Mariano quietly entered the room). Later she was babbling about the impact on the country's economy if he failed to do his job. She said she did'nt care even if the caller was busy until late night. (Mariano stood behind her) She yelled the loudest and said she will take whtever tht had been completed. She slammed the phone. Mariano massage her shoulders and told her to relax because it's good to calm down her anger. She apologized for raising her voice and said the worker at the printing company made her angry. He said he heard about tht. He thanked her for not wasting his time, she handled her job effectively. He asked her to join him at his office coz he had something to show her. She happily followed him. Mariano told her tht he brought his own coffee maker so tht he didn't have to drink Elena's coffee. She smiled. He put the coffee maker down and started making coffee. He wanted to make the same coffee made by Luis XV, He hope she will pay attention because she refuse to learn from the cafetaria. Elena said she was very busy, she didn't have the time to go out for lunch. She gave him a report sent bye the American Coffee association. Mariano said they need the report for tomorrows meeting. She rolled her eyes. Mariano told her not to worry because they had 24 hours. He gave her the coffee so tht she can smell it. she said tht can either be Excelsus supremo or European supremo. He was surprised tht she had lots of knowledge in coffee but she can't even make one good coffee to drink. She said if she had as much coffee as he had she'll be like a crazy lamb. Mariano said lamb was the reason coffee was found. He began with 'Once upon a time...' Elena pulled a face. He turned and decided not to go on with his story. He gave her a cup of coffee. At about the same time, the phone rang. Elena picked up the phone and read out her welcoming line. Diego asked who was he talking to. Elena recognised Diego's voice. He told her not to say his name, her life might be in trouble. El Cafetalero: He laughed and confirmed tht he is Diego Sanchez Sambrano. He asked if she remembered him. Cofeee council: She smiled. Elena dreamily said she still remembered. Mariano watched her. Diego said he had two reasons for calling. One because of something official and the other was about something personal. He asked how was she doing. She wondered what was the offical call. He said the public relation department can help him get information about Coffee Gourmet. She told him she was new there. He smiled and said he heard tht she worked all night. She smiled and promise to get information for him. He told her everything tht he need about coffee gourmet. She said there's no problem and she get him the information by 11 o’clock the next morning. He thanked her for being his friend and tht's why he loved her. She hang up. She told Mariano tht it was her friend. Mariano told her to go back home because she looked very tired. He offered to send her home.
