I'm a 40 year old stay at home grandma. Three years ago I was working 50+ hours a week making decent money and enjoying the fact that my oldest was out on her own and doing well and my baby would soon follow. Not that I wanted to get rid of my kids. I love them more than life. But I have always taken care of mine or somebody else's babies. Finally, some time for me to focus on, well, ME. Then, somewhere along the way on life's highway, I took a turn, I won't say it was a wrong turn, and ended up taking the scenic route in my life. And I love it! Sometimes the best things in life are the unexpected. I never was good at reading maps or following directions anyway! |
