Silent but Deadly

Target Time: 27.1
Difficulty 7/10

This level can be a pain in the neck. To start, hold the analog stick up to start running forward.
As soon as the level starts, off you go, and you pick up the sniper rifle. It should come out automa- tically. You see that guy straight ahead, on that balcony? Use zoom as you run in, and shoot him right in the head. Hard? Nah, it's simple. If that was hard, then there is no way you can get 27.1. The hard part starts right here.

Turn right, and you will see the 3 buildings; the one where the guy you just killed was at (the big one), the and then one next to that, and then one next to that. In between the second two buildings (the small ones), there is a space. What you do, is aim in between, and shoot the wall of the building to the left. Easy? Good.

Now, Turn up, and keep strafing towards the opening in the fence as you shoot the lens of the camera. This part is very hard, and takes practice. Now that you have shot that, you should be crossing the fence. Go left, heading down the path towards the big building. In between the two small buildings, is that space you shot at, and it's the first part you pass. You have to left strafe (not run strafe, just sidestep) and hope that the guy is just standing there like a retard. If he is, you have to shoot him in the head while strafing. This part is tricky as well.

After you do that, turn a little bit so you are less strafing and more running, just so you can run faster. Now you pass between one of the small buildings and the big building. Left strafe once again, and now you have to shoot the lady who is standing there, minding her own business. Pop her in the head and continue on, just as you did the first guy.

Now comes the third guy. Switch back into left strafe, and you should keep going passed the stairs, and when you can, pop this guy in the head. If all goes well, then congratulations, you pretty much earned a time of under 28.0 at least, even with a bad ending! Anyways, just follow like normal.

After killing that guy, run forward, and make a sharp right turn up the stairs, and open the door from as far back as you can. Run to the switch, press it and turn around right away. Head out, and instead of going right, which leads back down the stars, go left, on top of the buildings.

Follow the path, and walk across the board to the third building, it has a hole on the top. Now, drop in, and press X to open the door as you are about to hit the ground. The door should open, and now you just grab the mines and cut out.

Walk out of the building, turn left 180 degrees, and follow this path between the buildings. Here comes another part that throws most people off. Have your mines out and ready. Aim up, and hold the aim button down as well, so it aims up even further. Now, as soon as you cross under the board, throw the mine up at the big antenna. Instantly go left, following the diagonal of the building, to make sure this camera doesn't see you. If you are extremely fast (on pace for 26.7ish), this camera will actually see you, so don't worry if you make a small mistake (I have got stuck on the stairs before and still finish with a nice mid 27 run).

After you follow the bulding, you will be looking between the big building and a small building. You have to keep running, and leave the diagonal wall when you are under the camera, and go between the big and small, staying on the wall of the small building (believe me, it's easier than it sounds).

Once you get to the end of the wall, you see the stairs heading down to the exit ahead a small bit to the right. Run down, and just bust out the straight away and finish. If you threw the mine bad (late, or just off), you might not complete, which really sucks. However, with proper timing, you should complete anywhere from 26.8-27.1 on a decent run.

Not bad, considering only 2 people currently have under 28.0, and they are very low 27 times (27.0 and 27.1 to be exact). I hope this strat helps... -Josh PS - You need some major skill to pull this one off, but I have managed three 27.1's, and so it's just practice.
