First, a few notes about this strategy: This may not work on PS2. On many levels in PS2 the initial spawn positions of you, your teammates, and the enemies are often random in relation to each other. On GameCube, the initial spawn positions of everyone is exactly the same for most of the levels. This can be used to your advantage on Can't Please Everyone. Also this strategy is primarily for those that are familiar with the layout of the level and where the four zone lights are. It helps greatly to know the different rooms and how to get to them from other rooms.
There is primarily one weapon that you'll be using the entire level. That's the secondary function of the grenade launcher, which shoots fireballs. I use custom controls and set the trigger, or R button to Alternative Fire. And in the Preferences, I set it so it changes to the Best Weapon as soon as I run over it. This way, at the beginning when you first pick up the grenade launcher it will be ready to fire right away.
You want to restart until you spawn in the toilet. The restarts seem to follow a loose pattern. I have found that usually but not always, when you restart until you're in the toilet it follows this pattern:
1. You're on the bottom floor under a balcony
facing directly towards a zone light.
2. Then you spawn in the large room on the upper
floor facing directly towards a wall with beds next to it.
3. Then you spawn on the bottom floor in the
operating room that's at the base of one of two stairs that go to the upper
floor. You'll be facing a doorway.
4. Next is the toilet spawn.
Anticipating the toilet spawn, hold your "run stick" up so that you're moving as soon as the level starts. Run out of the toilet and quickly grab the grenade launcher from under the stairs. An Undead Priest will be running down the stairs so shoot a fireball at the base of the stairs but near the opening to the large room so that he gets lit on fire. Run through the fire so you get lit up and enter the room. Another Undead Priest will run around the table to your left so quickly shoot a fireball in the corner to light him on fire. Step on the zone light in the middle of the room. A Maiden will be running towards the zone light also so you will probably set her on fire too, but that's ok. Right after the Maiden you'll see the 3rd Undead Priest running towards the light. Bump into him to set him on fire and hopefully he won't step on the light because if he does you won't get a 1:50.x. You'll then see the 4th Undead Priest on the other side of the doorway in front of you. He'll be running towards the long hallway. Follow him and either shoot a fireball at him, or if you're quick just bump him to set him on fire. Just don't run after him down the hallway past the door on your left. Run through that door on your left.
About a second or two after you run through that door, the timer should read about 4:49, you should have 20 points, two red lights on your zone meter, and all four of the Undead Priests on fire. Now the beauty of it is that when the Undead Priests are on fire they run to the showers which are in a room next to the toilet. They tend to get stuck there so for the rest of the level you should usually have three and sometimes all four stuck there.
Now after you run through that door on your left you want to make it to the zone light in the large room on the upper floor before you die and before the score updates at 4:39.x. So run to the stairs that are in the next room that looks like an operating room or maybe a dentist's office. Quickly run up the stairs and into the large room and run over the zone light. You need to run over the zone light before 4:39.x. Just before 4:39.x a Maiden usually runs over the last zone light. When your score is updated at 4:39.x you need to have at least 80 points and all four zone lights red in order to fish at 1:50.x. You will die soon after you run over the zone light. When you respawn look at your radar to see where the Undead Priests (blue dots) are. You'll usually see three in the showers and the 4th almost there. Keep your eye on the radar to see if an Undead Priest dies and respawns somewhere. As I mentioned before, occasionally none of them will die and all four will be stuck in the showers for the rest of the level. If that happens just stay where you are until the level is over.
If an Undead Priest respawns, you have find another grenade launcher and hunt him down before he turns any zone lights blue. If you respawn upstairs you might be able to pick up the grenade launcher that you were carrying before you died. The original grenade launcher won't respawn until about 4:26 on the timer so if you get there before that time you'll have to wait until it spawns. There's another grenade launcher in a nook upstairs at the end of the room that doesn't have the thing that looks like a bike rack. Once equipped with the grenade launcher you want to anticipate where the Undead Priest will run to. Just keep on setting him on fire when he respawns until the level is over. Here's a tip borrowed from Josh: If the Undead Priest makes it to the showers without dying, just stay in the long hallway outside of the showers near the door to the toilet/showers and watch your radar. If he breaks apart from the other three he'll be coming through the door so fire a few fireballs on the ground near the door so that when he runs over them he'll get lit up and run back to the showers.
With some practice you'll get the timing down just right and you'll see that 1:50.4 or 1:50.5 pop up on your screen. Good Luck!
