Platinum/Fast Time Strategy:

You shouldn't have too much trouble getting this platinum.
Some people even get it first try (not me, if that's what your thinking ;)).
The strategy I like to use is to stay in the outside area and keep circling around all the buildings and the fountain while the monkeys chase you.
When circling around everything, try to stay close to the monkeys, but not to close that they catch up to you.
If you get too far away from them, they'll spread out and probably catch up to you.
Just keep circling around outside, and the timer should eventually reach 3 minutes.
