TSA, or the Technology Student Association, is an organization that provides opportunities for technology education students to learn, travel, and compete with their peers. TSA allows students to apply their knowledge from tech ed classes to life in the outside world and emphasizes the importance of technology to the country's youth. Powell High TSA

Powell High School has a superior reputation among the nation's TSA chapters. Its history includes several national and state officers, active participation of members, and a multitude of national conference trophies and finalist pins. At the 2001 National Conference, Powell High earned the Chapter Excellence award.

Technology Education classes

PHS tech ed teachers Brian Reagan and Tonya Vandergriff instruct a variety of tech ed classes throughout the day. Classes include Television Production, Inventions and Innovations, and Diversified Technology I and II. Click here to see pictures and read overviews of the classes.
