Lafayette Dupy Information and Descendants

   Lafayette Dupy was born on December 25, 1839 at Preble county, Ohio and died on March 19, 1890 at New Boston, Lee county, Iowa.  He married Lia Marie Vidal, daughter of Pedro and Pauline (?) Vidal, on October 10, 1872 in Lee county, Iowa.  She was born on March 9, 1853 at Barcelona, Spain and died on January 10, 1923 at Keokuk, Lee county, Iowa.  Both Lafayette and Lia are buried at Hickory Grove Cemetery, Lee county, Iowa.
     Lafayette and Lia had three children:

     William Lafayette Dupy who was born on April 30, 1877 at New Boston, Lee county, Iowa and died on May 28, 1950 at Ottumwa, Wapello county, Iowa. 

     Jimmie Jesse Dupy who was born on August 6, 1880 at new Boston, lee county, Iowa and died on May 2, 1944 at Camden, New Jersey.

     Oscar Wilde Dupy who was born on November 10, 1884 at New Boston, Lee county, Iowa and died on June 12, 1969 at Keokuk, Lee county, Iowa.
