Information about Timothy Struthers Dupy

I was born in Ottumwa, Wapello county, Iowa, on August 22, 1948 and lived there until 1968 when I moved to St. Louis, Missouri.  I lived in St. Louis from 1968 until 1978 when I moved to Houston, Texas and have been here ever since.
My parents were Lafayette Struthers and Alice Louise (Nelson) Dupy and I have two older sisters, Marcia living in Texas and Stephanie Ann living in Iowa.  By profession I am an educator and my job at the present time is that of an instructional coordinator at a middle school in Houston, Texas.  I have been teaching since 1971.
I began my work on the Dupy/Nelson genealogy in 1968 for a Western Civilization class in my freshman year of college.  I have been working on the family tree now for over 30 years.  I have managed to place in my genealogical files over 2400 names relating to both the Dupy and Nelson surnames.  This web page will present information I have managed to gather for the past thirty years.
