In the beginning, a website (Standardbred - Equine Athlete) was developed in an effort to focus more attention on the Standardbred horse and Harness Racing in Australia.
Throughout the world, after these wonderful animals are of no further use as viable racehorses, they are more often than not sent to slaughter houses. Such a tragedy considering they have a wonderful nature which make them a perfect horse for trail rides and pleasure riding and even highly competitve in the show ring.
"TshirTee" & originally "Harness Horse" came about in an attempt to provide financial assistance to keep that website running & promote the message of rescuing the Standardbred after their racing lives are over.
