Located in the Aburra valley of the Andes mountains Medellin is my favorite city in Colombia, population 2.4 million, altitude 1495 meters. It is dubbed the "City of Eternal Spring" for its year-round mild spring-like climate.

Medellin is large enough to possess all the comforts yet small enough to not be a drab sprawl like Bogota, to retain a sense of intimacy, snuggled in the mountains, neither hot nor cold, just right all the time.

For years traveling males told me about the beauty of Medellin women, surpassing the chicas of all other Latin countries and cities. I was skeptical at first. Upon arrival I quickly became a believer.
