Looking into Russia on the outskirts of Manzhouli (China), sitting in the grasslands of Inner Mongolia. It was here I wandered too close to the Russian border and was pulled in by the PLA (People's Liberation Army of China) for three hours of 'interrogation'. After meeting with several officers in two different military zones I was finally let go with a scolding not to stroll around the sensitive border area again.
