Sitting with an Olmec Head

In Villahermosa is an excellent outdoor museum of
Olmec (1200-400 BC) sculpture, providing an insight
into the first great culture of Mesoamerica. Pictured
is one of famous Olmec heads, some of them weighing up
to twenty-four tons and more than two meters tall.
