Some Peculiar Plants

Notice the orange-like balls on the first picture, in places they grow directly out of the
tree trunk (Nicaragua). Top-center is the same cactus I am hanging off in another picture
(Mexico). Bottom center is a large, funky plant at a San Jose museum (Costa Rica). Far
right is heliconia, a bright specimen of Lake Atitlan (Guatemala).
