Ten kilometers from Quito city is the "Center of the World," a monument
Quito, Ecuador
built to mark the equator through Ecuador. I stood between the north
and west quadrants of the monument to mark my home turf in Canada
(a northern country), Alberta (in the West of Canada) and the
Northwest Territories. As I did in Bonjol, Indonesia below
is a picture of me standing on both sides of the equator.
