| September 10th 2005 Ryan Drummond, offical Voice Actor for Sonic the hedgehog (1998-2004) Shafted by sega and given the boot inlight of Sonic X Sonic VA! After watching the new Sonic Riders trailer (found here) and hearing a different voice then the one we're all used to in Sonic Adventure thruough Sonic Heroes, I was inclinded to e-mail Mr.Ryan Drummond for an answer to this"BS". As you can see sega doesn't seem to care at all for it's fans, and the same goes for those they do bussiness with. Many fans of sega games may remember poor customer service and as they themselves got shafted with their Sega 32x's and Sega Saturns. How the Sonic x-treame game was canceld so close to completion do to selfish "big wigs" The VA for Sonic in the Sonic X tv show translated from japanese to english by 4kids Entertainment will be supplying sonic's voice for the games now as it seems. One must question if David Humphrey(Shadow's VA), will be next if he hasn't already been replaced. This will leave a soar taste in the mouths of Ryan Drummond's fans. I myself, am one of them, and e-mail him on the odd occasion. He's a very good guy and he talks to his fan, he actually replied with in 4 hours of my sending that email. That's remarkable to say the least. Also a Recent but quotable source has stated that the rest of the Sonic games Voice cast has been replaced by the Sonic X voice cast aswell. Reguardless we here at TSPR wish you the best of luck in all your future endevors. Thanks for the great memories. You will always be Sonic's Voice to us. And the same goes for all the original VA's For the sonic games. In the mean time if this ticks you off as well you you want to get the old VA's back for the games, theres an online petion started that you can sign here id appriciate it if you signed it too, i have and i hope it works. |
