Joseph H. Davis, son of Richard Lee Davis and Mary Buck(Davis), was born on 27 Feb 1850 in Cass Co, Ill, and died 24 Oct 1911 in Cass County, Illinois. He married Sarah Elizabeth Morrison on 27 Feb 1875. They had two children.
