My grandfather, Alvah N Davis, took quite a few photo's and kept the glass plate negatives. Mom kept them and after she passed away I had them developed. This is one of them. The man in this photo is dressed as you would expect a preacher would be dressed. I do not know who he is or where this photograph was taken The photo's were prabably taken prior to 1916 and I assume these were taken somewhere between Throckmorton and Shakleford Counties in Texas.

It could have been taken in or near Elbert, TX. If you know who this is please let me know.
