This Geryon, an unholy outpost within the solar system. Before it was a normal mining area for the UAC, but the slipgate wars changed that. Now it is deserted, neither populated with humans or demons ......or so it would seem. Who knows what secrets are hidden within this abandoned mine.
The title Geryon by the way is reference to one of my favourite doom 2 levels of all time Geryon from the master levels. The music you heard earlier (or hearing right now, depending on how i've edited this site) is the PSX music for the level (by the way, special thanks to Elbryan42 for providing the psx music for everyone in mp3 format
You may also find some of my doom skins and other types of wads that you may use with the appropiate IWAD. I overall hope that this can be of some service
Yesterday was quite a joyful occation. A pal from Doomworld did a full colour picture of one of my entries for the art competitions. Check it out.
On a general note about the compo, i congratulate Agnes for winning and to thank everyone for participating. Hopefully next time we'll get more entries. Next time i'll add colour to my artwork, then maybe the odds will be in my favour.Heh
But seriously i was quite surprised with the outcome. I imagined that i'd come about 3rd or 4th but not second by a longshot. You never know til you try i guess.
Other than that this site is due for general updates including my doom product codenamed leviathon. Yes that's right. An official wad of leviathon that i've gone on about in the download section, not a cheap-ass sprite\sound replacement for doom, but an official PC wad. Looks promising. :)
I plan to get screenshots in ASAP. That is all for now.
07\05\03: An update at long last. Now you can access my download section and the doomart section. YAY!
16\03\03: Yup. Got my first doom site working at least. It'll take a while to implement the wads and the artwork, largely because i'm working from a lousy 56k modem. Furthermore i may not apply all the soundtracks for this webpage, because not only will it be a pain in the butt for people with slower connection it'll also take up space in the available website memory (16mb?!? what the hell were geocities thinking). So hang in ther folks. You'll soon be able to see my art in all it's glory.
Jeez i need broadband..........................and a job.
