This 320 by 160 foot triangular park in to explore the vast array of design
possibilities using interlocking concrete pavers. The paving design uses a timeline that begins the story of
computer processing in life size - the earliest modern
computers such as ENIAC, a 30 by 50 foot mammoth of a computer,
used vacuum tubes for switching devices. The timeline is represented by
the algebraic graph of y = 1/x, which perpetually diminishes in size. Each major development of miniaturization is represented by
a node of smaller and smaller space
in the park. The final area at the point of the site contains an inspiring laser
show display which represents the future of
miniaturization technology.
