People have always lived believing in many things; life after death, heaven and hell, the supernatural, and many other other things that remain unexplained. But what if some of that was true? What if there was more out there?
All my life, I have studied people, studied their behavior, but I never thought I would be able to study something still alive within a dead shell. A vampire.
Her name was Leila, Night Beauty, and her name suited her. She was of one of the oldest generations of Kindred, an Antediluvian, and of the Ravnos clan. She spoke of many things, but of one thing she believed in the most, the Gehanna.
This was the end of the war she had been involved in for centuries, where the Creator of the Kindred, Caine, would rise again. She spoke of Caine being able to release her and her kind of the curse they were under, of being able to return them to the Light. Leila also told me of those of the Kindred who didn't wish of this, who believed Caine would make all who lived vampires. They wanted the reincarnation of their Creator for themselves.. so if their dreams weren't true, Caine would be destroyed. But Leila swore she knew better.
Caine had killed his brother, cursing them to lust for blood forever. She swore that Caine was the key to being born again to the Light... but his brother's reincarnation was the key to making all fall into the Darkness; to make all Kindred.
January 18th of the Year 2153 A.D.
Weeks have passed, and still she hasn't returned. I fear those working against Laila's beliefs, which she so assuredly believed, have destroyed her. Them, or those seeking revenge against the Kindred, the Slayers. I fear for her... but I will let everyone hear of what she said, let them see her tale of Gehenna, of this believed Moon of Redemption. Now, I return to my waiting, in hopes she shall come.

And so it begins. The search for Caine and his brother's reincarnation has continued. Seems myths can be real... The Moon of Redemption will either begin or end... it all depends on who gets to whom first.
