that they're looking at a muscular girl from the back.  His dark brown eyes fight to hide everything he is feeling inside which usually makes people more drawn to him.  Smiles rarely grace his serious face but not as rare laughter.  Though he is not smiling does not mean he is walking around frowning.  Most of the time his rather face looks as if he is in deep thought.  An elaborate petrified wood cross hangs from his neck <NOTE: Even though petrified wood is fragile, it is also harder than steel.>  Another accessory that is always a part of his appearance is his sword Midnight made of black titanium. Personality: Xi-Tien is your typical martial arts fanatic: confident, quiet but not shy, diligent, self-disciplined, respectful, confident, patient and strong willed.  When he feels that he must speak out he will do so without a second thought.  He does not trust and follow blindly, but once his trust is earned he will prove to be a strong and reliable friend and/or ally.  Without meaning to be mysterious he comes off as mysterious to all those that meet him.  Xi-Tien never talks about himself unless asked directly, but most people take one look at his calm demeanor (and Midnight) and promptly change their mind.  He is very goal focused and sometimes forgets that there are people that care about him.  He lives his life for what is right and honor. History: For the first eight years of his life he trained at Earth Song Temple, a descendent temple of the famous Shao Ling Temple.  It was located in the southern part of China.  It was created about five hundred years ago, when a group of scholars thought that it was time to bring back culture and community to the land.  It started out small, but soon it gained popularity and people all around the world were trying to send their child to Earth Song Temple.  Seeing its success other martial arts temples were formed around China.  Each focusing on the same principals: honor, respect, truth, justice, and duty.  Yet each temple had its own style and training method.  Xi-Tien went from one temple to the next with his parents, sister, and grandfather to learn.  Schooling in the temples cost money, but if you didn’t have money you had to work on the temple in return.  These jobs were simple such as gardening, cooking, cleaning, mending, or helping out with any other tasks.  In these temples there were no technology of any sort, though they taught their students of it to keep them well informed of the real world.  In his short lifetime Xi-Tien only went to 2 temples.  On his way to his third temple his family was killed, he was only fourteen.  Alone he made his way to the third temple, Snow Mountain Temple.
