Our Young Authors Partnership
Publishing program
1999 / 2000
This year our Young Authors storywriting
project began with a new twist.
We expanded our project to another
fifth grade classroom increasing the number of books that we wrote. We
also reached out across the United States and found illustrators Doherty
High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado and Greece Arcadia High School
in Rochester, New York. Another school closer to home that helped us was
Nordonia High School in northern Summit County.
As you can see, we had an outstanding
group of students who were our illustrators.
We also had a group of talented
fifth graders who authored some interesting stories.
