MARUCHAN PICANTE CHICKEN |
Soup Base: salt, monosodium glutamate, hydrolyzed corn, wheat and soy protein, chicken fat, powdered cook chicken, chili and other spices, sugar, autolyzed yeast extract, dehydrated soy sauce(wheat, soybeans, salt, maltodextrin), turmeric, disodium inosinate, disodium guanylate Flake: onion, garlic, celery, chive(these were actually in the soup base packet but I listed them seperately) Spicyness: 3 Comment: I was skeptical with this Maruchan since American ramen is rarely spicy. Maruchan gets it right this time. The broth has a nice chicken flavor with a nice warmth of spicyness in the background. The flake didn't add much in texture since they were chopped so small. A good ramen, but could use bigger flake. Overall: 4 |

MARUCHAN BEEF |
Soup Base: salt, sugar, dehydrated soy sauce(wheat, soybeans, salt, maltodextrin), monosodium glutamate, lactose, hydrolyzed corn, wheat, and soy protein, caramel color, natural flavor, spices, beef fat, autolyzed yeast extract, disodium inosinate, disodium guanylate Flake: onion, garlic, chive Spicyness: 1 Comment: The ramen noodles in this one swelled to a huge size and was quite a meal. But unfortunately not much flavor. The broth has a beef boulion flavor, mostly salt with a hint of beef flavor. No spicyness. Again the flakes are chopped so small they dont do much here. Overall: 3 |
