Comment: This is my first time trying Myojo ramen and I have to say I was quite impressed. The noodles are Japanese style and not the normal ramen variety. They are not as thick as ramen, but hold up well in the broth. Also not as chewy as some ramen but still quite good. The broth is oil do to the liquid season pack, but well worth it. The broth is salty with a sesame and soy taste. The sesame seeds provide a nice crunch. Only dehydrated veggie in this one is the green onion, but this ramen is just fine without the additional veggies. And this is my first ramen that has 130% of the daily serving of sodium! But the salt taste is not overpowering. This is one of my favorite ramens.

MYOJO CHUKAZANMAI SESAME FLAVOR
Season Packet: soy sauce(water, soybeans, wheat and salt), sugar, sesame paste, distilled vinegar, vegetable oil(sesame oil, rice oil, soybean oil, rapeseed oil), hydrolyzed protein(tuna and corn), mirin flavor(corn syrup, water, fermented rice and distilled vinegar), salt, monosodium glutamate, glacial acetic acid, scallop extract, yeast extract, citric acid, caramel color, malic acid, disodium inosinate, disodium succinate, chinese hot sauce(chili and sesame oil), licorice extract
Mustard Packet: mustard, chili sauce(water, chili pepper, broad beans and salt, salt, lactic acid, sodium acetate
Spicyness: 1
Comments: Here is a ramen that is served cold. You cook the noodles and drain and rinse with cold water. Add the liquid season packet along with the mustard packet. When all is mixed together the noodles had a sweet and salty flavor along with a sesame and vinegar taste. None of them over powering the other, but blended to perfection. The mustard added a nice "zing" to the noodles. Another winner from Myojo.

MYOJO UDON CHICKEN FLAVOR
Soup Base: salt, sugar, monosodium glutamate, hydrolyzed soybean protein, onion powder, soy suace powder(soybeans, wheat, and salt), garlic powder, potato starch, artificial flavor, turmeric powder, leek chips, celery powder, white pepper, sodium carbonate, disodium inosinate, disodium guanylate
Spicyness: 1
Comment: I am not sure if this ramen is made by the same company as the reviews above. Package for this one says made in the U.S.A. The udon noodles are already cooked so you just simple add some boiling water and wait 3 minutes. The broth is a bright yellow. The flavor reminds me of chicken soup from the can. The broth is pretty good and also very salty, this is definately geared toward the American palete. A few leek chips is the only veggie. Overall: 4
MYOJO ORIENTAL FLAVOR
Soup Base: salt, sugar, monosodum glutamate, soy sauce powder(soybeans, wheat and salt), bonito extract powder, kelp powder, caramel color, leek chips, disodium inosinate, disodium guanylate, sodium carbonate, and natural bonito sauce flavor
Spicyness: 1
Comment: The broth with this one was fishy smelling. Obviously due to the bonito flavoring added. Mostly just a salt and fishy flavor to the broth. The noodles were in the "wet pack" and held up good during cooking. A good offering from Myojo, but could use some depth to the broth other than just bonito.

MYOJO ARTIFICIAL DUCK FLAVOUR
Season Packet: salt, sugar, pepper, msg, caramel powder, cinnamon powder, disodium guanylate, disodium inosinate
Oil Packet: cooking garlic oil(not sure of the type of oil, i would presume palm)
Spice Packet: chili
Spicyness: 3
Comment: I have to admit Myojo doesn't want you to think this is "real" duck flavor. The artificial flavor is right on the front. I'm not sure if duck is suppose to mean a "meaty duck" taste or just a certain combination of spices. Regardless no duck taste was detected. The broth had a salty and spicy flavor. Not much else in the way of flavor, but I still liked it. The noodles seemed to be a different texture than most ramen of a flour base. They were more chewy than usual. This is what made this ramen tasty.

MYOJO SOY SAUCE FLAVOR
Liquid Soup Base: soy sauce(water, soybeans, wheat, salt), vegetable oil(sesame oil, soybean oil, rapeseed oil, palm oil), yeast extract, bonito extract, monosodium glutamate, spices, disodium inosinate
Powder Soup Base: salt, potato starch, sugar, monosodium glutamate, yeast extract, seafood extract(bonito, scallop, clam, oyster), fried onions(onions, palm oil), caramel color, spices, hydrolyed bonito protein, green onions, disodium inosinate, disodium succinate, sesame oil
Spicyness: 1
Comment: The soup base for this one was a combination of a liquid and a powder soupbase. I thought it was a little different with the addition of the seafood flavoring since this is soy sauce flavor. The noodles are great. They are firm and chewy. This seems to be the standard for Myojo. The broth was quite salty with a hint of seafood in the background. The saltiness was good at first but half way through, it just seems to overpower the broth and becomes just too salty.

MYOJO ORIENTAL FLAVOR

Dry Soup Base:
salt, sugar, monosodium glutamate, potato starch, vegetable oil(palm oil, sesame oil), seafood extract(scallop, clam), vegetable extract(chinese cabbage, cabbage, onion), yeast extract, spices, fried onion(onion, palm oil), hydrolyzed bonito protein, green onions, disodium inosinate, disodium succinate, turmeric
Liquid Soup Base: vegetable oil(seseame, soybean, palm, rapeseed oil), soy sauce(water, soybeans, wheat, salt), yeast extract, bonito extract, monosodium glutamate, spices, disodium inosinate
Spicyness: 1
Comment: Looking at the ingredient list Myojo does not stray far from the same combination of ingredients. The broth had a salty, seseame and fishy flavor to it. Much like the other reviews I have done. The noodles were chewy and remained that way until the finish. Overall your typical salty flavored ramen but with good quality noodles.
