COMMENT:This is a very tasty ramen. There is a nice light seafood flavor that is not too overpowering. The broth is very spicy. As a nice touch, the simulated shrimp are shaped like shirmp.

Comment: The broth has a mellow gentleness. Not overly spicey as you would think being kimchi flavor. The kimchi flake reminds me of kimchi. I would have like it to be more spicey.

Comment: Complex broth. Lots of ingredients make up the broth. Very spicey with a little chicken overtone. There were at least 20 little meatballs(textured vegetable protein) that gave it a nice chewy texture. Unfortunately, there was only one fish cake.

Comment: What a flavorable broth. Just the right amount of spicyness. There is a generous helping of green onion, which also gives the broth a deep taste. The fish cake provides a little seafood flavor, and the egg cake is provides a sweet texture. This is Nong Shim at it's best.

NONG SHIM CHAMPONG SPICY SEAFOOD

Comment: The broth is very spicey with a nice seafood flavor. There are chewy rectangle pieces of cuttlefish which give the broth a seafood flavor. The mushrooms are the biggest I've ever seen in a ramen cup. This is one great ramen, but very spicey.

Comment: What a big bowl of ramen. There is a big, flat piece of fish cake I believe, in the ramen. Also some  little rectangle shaped sheets, which are pink, seatangle maybe? And some real shrimp. Also, a lot of seaweed(not listed in the ingredient list). The broth is not overly spicey and not a strong seafood taste. Just enough to let you know it's there. Very good ramen

Comment: Killer. That's the only way to describe shin ramen. The broth is very spicey and with the most pleasant beef overtone. I could drink the broth all day. The mushrooms are huge. And add a nice texture.

Comment: This ramen came with a ton of vegetables. The fried fish cake is the size of a nickel. The broth has a nice onion flavor. Not much spicyness other than a black pepper flavor. With the udon noodles, this is a hearty ramen.

Comment: This is a differnet packaging for Nongshim. A square bowl. Kalbi  is a Korean BBQ short rib dish. This is an attempt at that, but Nongshim doesn't fully succeed. The broth has a slight beef flavor and a nice combination of spices. Although it says a "spicy" ramen, its not that spicy. There are bits of soy protein to simulate the short rib. I would have like a more BBQ flavor for this ramen.

nt:I had to do a little research on exactly what "mariscos" is. It seems to be mexican for seafood. Is Nong Shim trying to crack the mexican ramen market? The broth's arroma was definetly seafood smelling. The flavor had a light seafood flavor with a beefy undertone. The spicyness isn't to overpowering and the veggies are the standard Nong Shim kind.

Comment: Here is a ramen which is different that your normal spicy variety. The broth is thick and a deep dark brown. The broth doesn't have any spicyness. Theres a beefy taste with a hint of sesame. A lot of textured vegetable protein give a lot of texture. This is a heavy meal. Oddly, ramen is salty, this one could have used more salt.

Comment: This is Nong Shim new healthy version of their famous ramen. The noodles are not fried and there is no MSG added, but oddly enough the ingredient list is huge. Sodium content is still high 80% of your DA if you eat the whole bowl. The kimchi block made a nice size amount of chunks of kimchi. The broth was spicy, sour and salty and tasted just like kimchi. I prefer the fried noodles versus the non fried but they were still chewy and held up well in the broth. Overall Nong Shim has pulled off another winner in ramen.
