| These pets -- the sleepy yellow kitten and the black and tan dachshund -- were in our pharmacy area during their stay. Certain pets are kept in the busy pharmacy area so that we can keep an immediate eye on them. On Wednesdays, for instance, we perform surgeries and all post-op pets are monitored closely as the effects of anesthesia wear off. During surgery, blood oxygen level, respiration and pulse are regulated using a Pulse Oximeter. |
