Ranger looked at the woman and young lady across from him and blinked, wondering if he had heard them correctly. “You want me to turn what green?” he asked.

“Your company here and the other branches too,” Angie replied calmly.

Stephanie watched Ranger's reaction, slightly nervous. Angie had thoroughly convinced her of the benefits of turning Rangeman into a “green” company. It had taken a little convincing and a “please” to get Ranger to agree to meet with them. Now they just had to convince Ranger. “It makes sense,” Stephanie supported. “Not to mention you might actually get some tax breaks in the various cities.”

Leaning back in his chair, Ranger contemplated the ladies before him. In truth, he gave very little thought to whether or not his company was eco-friendly, it had never been an important enough issue. “Explain,” he commanded.

Stephanie met Angie's eyes and nodded to her.

Angie reached down and brought up her laptop, turning it on and quickly starting the presentation they had prepared. “What I'm about to show you are a few statistics on the amount of garbage one company the size of yours creates each year. Then we'll go over how we can reduce, reuse and recycle without interfering with day to day operations. I've also included information on various hybrid and alternative fuel vehicles that would be a benefit not only to the environment, but also to the company. Finally, we'll review the numbers, what the initial and long-term impact to your bottom line will be.”

Ranger nodded, already impressed.
