Conclusions:

What is presented in this paper is only a start on the vast amount of work which needs to be done. However, there are serious threats from landslides. It need to be considered when planning large scale developments.

Mass movement danger is reduced by controlling drainage and reducing the slope angle. Lanslide impact can be mitigated with cable nets, wire fences, perforated pipe in the wall as seen at Photo-5 from field trip observation and interceptor drains. The best way to minimize damage from landslide is to avoid building ( K.Coch, 1995 ).

Management of landslide problems would  be greatly produce a landslide management office or program with responsibility for inventory, analysis, mitigation, regulation, documentation, coordination and prevention activities. In addition, regulatory codes  for construction in unstable areas would be very beneficial to reducing the risk  to humans, structures and roads ( P.King, 1989 ).
