Sector 14 - 3
This SubSector of Sector 14 contains the Japrael System.
------------
Alfestril System
Captain Nevik of the Devastator believed that suspected Alliance undercover agents were working in this system, shortly before the Battle of Hoth. His crew found this information in a coded transmission delivered to Agent Sollaine by Darth Vader himself. Sollaine executed Nevik when the Captain refused his order to travel to Corulag instead.
Aleen
This planet is located on the border between the Colonies Region and the Inner Rim. It is the homeworld of the Aleena race, and was the site of a Jedi Knight chapter house during the last years of the Old Republic. It is located in the Alfestril System.
------------
Brentaal System
This system contains the planet Brentaal and the intersection of the Perlemian Trade Route and the Hydian Way.
Brentaal
Located in the Bormea sector of the Core Worlds, Brentaal sits at the strategic intersection of the Perlemian Trade Route and the Hydian Way. Brentaal is a dry planet whose eight continents are separated by small salty oceans. Most available land on the wealthy world is covered with starports, industrial facilities, and thriving trade markets. The planet once endured high levels of pollution, though this has been largely alleviated in recent years. Life on Brentaal revolves around commerce, and the planet is efficiently run by the Brentaal Houses-- noble families who control various guilds and aspects of commerce and trade. Representatives from the Houses meet daily in the capital city's Trade Hall to plan economic policy. Most of Brentaal's 65 billion citizens are involved in some manner with the trade and shipping business, and many megacorporations are based on the planet. The Houses are overseen by the wealthy Imperial Governor Jerrod Maclain. For thousands of years Brentaal was the major rendezvous point for those heading to and returning from the Colonies region, and its markets were naturally the first to receive exotic goods from these expeditions. Over 6000 years ago, during the Old Republic's early Manderon Period, a set of antique pistols later owned by the jatz musician Fitz Roi were created on Brentaal. 3000 years ago, the legendary pioneer woman Freia Kallea helped explore Brentaal space and single-handedly blazed the Hydian Way. The smuggler Platt Okeefe, a native of Brentaal, spent a great deal of time in the Brentaal spaceport as a child.
Brentaal IV
This moon served as the base of operations for the Imperial fleet protecting the Brentaal System. During the Battle of Brentaal, Rogue Squadron managed to take control of the moon when Admiral Lon Isoto offered no resistance. After a skirmish with the 181st Fighter Group, the Rogues were able to assist New Republic forces in landing on the planet Brentaal and ousting the Imperials. It is Located in the Brentaal System of the Bormea Sector.
Cranan XI
A planet in the Brentaal System.
Cranan XII
Meysen Kayson, wealthy owner of the Greel Wood Logging Corporation in the Pii system, also owns several properties on Cranan 12.
Hydian Way Trade Route
The Hydian Way is a major trade route that runs from the Mid-Core out to the Corporate Sector. It intersects the Perlemian Trade Route in the Bormea sector at the planet Brentaal. 3000 years ago, the legendary pioneer woman Freia Kallea helped explore Brentaal space and single-handedly blazed the Hydian Way.
Perlemian Trade Route
The Perlemian Trade Route runs through the Darpa and Bormea sectors of the Ringali Shell and connects, in order, the planets Corulag, Chandrila, Brentaal, Esseles, Rhinnal, and Ralltiir. The
Arkanis sector and its Pii system are a seven-day journey from the trade route. Activity along the route was severely curtailed by Lord Tion's blockade of Ralltiir just prior to the Battle of Yavin.

Japrael System
The Japrael System contains the planet Onderon. It is sometimes caled the Onderon System.
Dxun
Dxun, also called the "Demon Moon," is one of four moons orbiting the planet Onderon. Its thick jungles are home to numerous bloodthirsty monsters and, due to Dxun's erratic orbit, many of the creatures are able to migrate to the surface of Onderon during an annual period in which the two worlds' atmospheres intersect. Four thousand years ago, after the evil Queen Amanda of Iziz was defeated by the Jedi, the inhabitants of Onderon built a Mandalorian iron tomb on Dxun to house the remains of their Queen and of the Dark Jedi Freedon Nadd. The fallen Jedi Exar Kun later visited the tomb, where the spirit of Nadd helped him discover some hidden Sith scrolls. Later, at the end of the Sith War, the warrior clans of Mandalore fled to Dxun after failing in their attempt to capture Onderon. Their leader was killed by a pair of the Dxun beasts, and a new warrior
assumed the mantle of Mandalore.
Najiba
A remote planet covered with wetlands, and lashed with atmospheric electrical discharges and
constant rainstorms. Najiba, a low-technology world with a high degree of smuggling activity, is
located a mere one- hour's hyperspace travel from the Trulalis system. During one half of its
elliptical orbit, Najiba passes near a hazardous asteroid belt known as the "Children of Najiba,"
at which time all travel to and from the planet is restricted. The inhabitants of Najiba tend to be
superstitious and wary of strangers, but are also extremely loyal and hardworking. Around three
million humans and Najib inhabit the planet. Reuther's Wetdock is a popular tavern located near
the planet's spaceport. Sometime before the Battle of Endor, the Dark Jedi Adalric Brandl hired
the smuggler Thaddeus Ross to take him from Najiba to Trulalis, Brandl's former home.
Onderon
Onderon, in the Japrael system, circles a yellow sun and has four moons
with widely-varying orbits. The closest moon, Dxun, is home to numerous bloodthirsty creatures
who are periodically able to migrate to the surface of Onderon, due to an annual period in which
the two worlds' atmospheres intersect. The human inhabitants of Onderon gradually evolved
defenses against the beasts, eventually culminating in the enormous walled city of Iziz. Native life
on the planet includes the deadly dragon-bird.
4,400 years ago the Dark Jedi Freedon Nadd brought the power of the Sith to Onderon, and
those who opposed it were cast out into the wilderness where they tamed the beasts of Dxun.
Hundreds of these "beast riders" created their own kingdoms in the wild, and fought continually to
overtake Iziz. About 4402 years ago Onderon was first contacted by the Old Republic, and a
delegation of Jedi (including Ulic Qel- Droma) was sent to make peace between the beast riders
and Queen Amanda of Iziz two years after that. Following the death of Queen Amanda, her
daughter Galia took the throne with Oron Kira, her lover and the leader of a beast rider kingdom.
A subsequent uprising by the followers of Freedon Nadd was put down by another Jedi force.
At the same time, Satal Keto and his cousin Aleema (members of Tetan royalty) traveled to
Onderon to learn the secrets of Sith magic, which led to their formation of the Krath and the
political takeover of the Tetan system. Following the Naddist uprising, a permanent Jedi outpost
was built on Onderon from the remains of Nadd's ancient starship. Later, during the end of the
Sith War, Exar Kun ordered the warrior clans of Mandalore to capture Onderon and the city of
Iziz. Defeated in a furious battle by Oron Kira and Captain Vanicus of the Republic navy,
Mandalore and his surviving men fled to the Dxun moon. Millennia later, six years after the Battle
of Endor, the Millennium Falcon landed on Onderon to repair damage suffered in a battle with
the reborn Emperor's flagship, the Eclipse II. Fearing for her newborn son Anakin, Leia Organa
Solo hid in warrior leader Modon Kira's safehouse deep in the Onderon wilderness. Palpatine
(posing as a pilgrim on his way to the Shatoon monastery) discovered the child at the safehouse
and tried to possess his body, but was stopped by the Jedi knight Empatojayos Brand. Later, the
leaders of the New Republic gathered in the fortress of Modon Kira and re-established their
galactic government, led by Mon Mothma with Leia Organa Solo as her second in command.
