Sector 30 - 1

The Odos Systems are two systems in the Meridian Sector that work close together. These systems have combined their defense fleets as well as their political and business bodies. They did this in response to an Imperial Warlord who threatened to take over twenty years after the Battle of Hoth. They are known today as the Odos System and the Odo System..

------------

Durren System
Contains the planet Durren.

Durren
It is the site of the Durren Orbital Station, a major Republic fleet installation. Durren appears blue from space. Six main religions are predominant, and the planetary coalition has been a strong supporter of the Republic, just as it had been of the New Republic, which has agreed to protect the Durren System in exchange for the establishment of a naval base. Nine years after the Battle of Endor, a rebel faction revolted against the Durren Central Planetary Council and the planet erupted in armed warfare, leaving it vulnerable to looters. The main Republic cruisers, Caelus and Corbantis, had left the previous day to investigate a rumored pirate attack on Ampliquen and were unable to defend the orbital station. At the same time, the Death Seed plague broke out on the station, but was contained in the lower decks.

Meridias
It is a lifeless world that has been dead for several centuries. It was once the home of the Grissmath Dynasty, which shipped it's political prisoners to Nam Chorios, until an unknown catastrophe turned the world into a radioactive wasteland.

------------

Odo System
One of the Odos Systems. The Imperial Warlord Vresdac Qrilok was killed in a space battle in this system.

Damonite Yors-B
The fifth planet in the system, it is an uninhabited ice-covered world where the atmosphere is lashed by turbulent winds and ion and methane storms. Nine years after the Battle of Endor, Han Solo and Lando Calrissian came to the planet in search of Leia Organa Solo. Instead, they found the crashed cruiser Corbantis and brought its survivors to the medical facility on Nim Drovis for treatment. On their way out of the planet's atmosphere, they were attacked by a swarm of Loronar Corporation's CCIR needle fighters.

Exodo I
A planet in the Odo System.

------------

Odos System
One of the Odos System of the Meridian Sector. The Imperial Warlord Vresdac Qrilok attempted to overtake the systen twenty years after the Battle of Hoth.

Exodo II
A planet with a thick, stormy atmosphere, it is covered with plains of blackened and hardened lava. Exodos II lies near Odos and the Spangled Veil Nebula. Its most common lifeform is the ghaswar, which burrows into the crust and leaves dusty boreholes behind. Nine years after the Battle of Endor, Han Solo and Lando Calrissian came to the planet searching for any sign of Leia Organa Solo, but found a wrecked scout cruiser instead. Soon after, they were attacked by an Imperial Fleet from the nearby Antemeridian Sector but lost their pursurers in the Spangled Veil Nebula.

Odos
Located in the Odos System. Most ships wishing to make a hyperspace jump to Coruscant from the region depart far from the far side of the Odos System. More times than not their last stop is the planet Odos. Nine years after the Battle of Endor, Han Solo and Lando Calrissian were attacked by an Imperial fleet from the nearby Antemeridian Sector while at Exodo II and lost their pursurers by flying through the gas-clouds of Odos and the fringes of the Spangled Veil Nebula.

------------

Spangled Veil Nebula
Located in the Meridian Sector near Exodo II and Odos, the Nebula is filled with glowing white clouds of dust and massive, drifting chunks of ice. Nine years after the Battle of Endor, Han Solo and Lando Calrissian were attacked by an Imperial fleet from the nearby Antemeridian Sector while at Exodo II. They lost their pursuers in the Nebula.
