Smuggler's Run
An asteroid Belt.
Skip 1
The 35th asteroid in the system and the first one inhabited, it is also the one most suitable for human life. The asteroid's interior was hollowed out centuries ago. It smells extremely foul; the stench arises from a green-yellow slime that runs through the corridors. An attempt was once made to block the slime at it's source, but this caused severe tremors and instability in the asteroid. It is well defended.Thirteen years after the Battle of Endor, Han Solo visited Skip 1 to investigate events in Smuggler's Run and their possible connection to the bombing of Senate Hall on Coruscant. Soon after, Skip 1 and several other Skips were severely damaged when a group of stolen droids exploded.
Skip 2
An inhabited asteroid. Thirteen years after the Battle of Endor, it and several other Skips was severely damaged when a group of stolen droids exploded.
Skip 3
An inhabited asteroid. Thirteen years after the Battle of Endor, it and several other Skips was severely damaged when a group of stolen droids exploded.
Skip 5
An enormous asteroid riddled with huge caverns lined with heat-generating sunstone. The interior temperature averages an uncomfortable forty degrees standard. It was abandoned for many years until Dolph Kueller used Skip 5 as a base. Thirteen years after the Battle of Endor, it and several other Skips was severely damaged when a group of stolen droids exploded.
Skip 6
Located in the middle of the belt, it is owned and operated by the Glottalphib crime lord known as Nandreeson. The top of the asteroid is covered with flowing ooze. Inside the asteroid are humid, moss-covered chambers filled with stagnant, foul-smelling sulfurous ponds covered with lilypads and skittering waterbugs. Other chambers hold Nandreeson's treasure stashes and egg clusters. The air is thick with parfue gnats and Eilnian sweet flies, and Watumba bats nest on the ceiling. Thirteen years after the Battle of Endor, Lando Calrissian returned to Smuggler's Run in search of Han Solo. Lando was captured by a squad of Reks and brought to Nandreeson on Skip 6; the crime lord tried to kill his old nemesis by drowning him in one of the pools. Han, and Chewbacca, and several smugglers arrived to rescure Lando. They were in turn betrayed by other smugglers but succeeded in rescuing Lando.
Skip 8
An inhabited asteroid that Han Solo and Chewbacca once visited during their early smuggling career.
Skip 52
It is continually surrounded by swirling rock storms. Only the specialized Smuggler's Run vehicles known as Skippers are able to navigate these storms successfully.
