Cularin System
This Mid-Rim system is located in the Expansion Region. The system was located some 200 years before the Battle of Naboo by Reidi Artom, who named it Reidi Artom VI before learning that the system had been already catalogued. It is unique and unusual in many ways. First, its primary star is actually a pair of stars that exist in extremely close proximity, the yellow Morasil and the white dwarf Termandus. Second, three of the system's five planets are incredibly dense, giving the entire system an incredibly large gravitational pull and causing all sorts of problems for starship navigational computers. Third, the system is also reputed to be a nexus for the energies of the Force, both the Light Side and the Dark. Navigation in and around the system is made even more dangerous by the existence of a dense cloud of comets, whose positions change regularly and cannot be adequately predicted. The asteroid belt which is located between the planet of Genarius and Almas is believed to be the remnants of a lush, jungle planet. Data reveals that the asteroid belt passes completely around the twin suns of Morasil and Termadus once every 3,924 standard days.

Aargonar
This planet's third moon was the site of an Alliance base, during the height of the Galactic Civil War. It is also known as the homeworld of several individual sarlacc creatures, located across the planet's surface.

Aargonar 1
This is one of the moons of the planet Aargonar.

Aargonar 2
This is one of the moons of the planet Aargonar.

Aargonar 3
This is the third moon of the planet Aargonar, which was the site of a secret Alliance base during the years leading up to the Battle of Yavin.

Acilaris
The innermost world of the Cularin System, Acilaris is barely large enough to be considered a planetoid. Nevertheless, it has enough gravity to hold an atmosphere, albeit one which is laden with sulfur, carbon, and boron. The surface of Acilaris is very hot, and is believed to be rich in natural minerals and crystals. However, the temperature prohibites mining activities.

Almas
This world is the fifth and outermost planet in the Cularin System. The Jedi Knights of the Old Republic discovered that the ancient Sith had established a fortress on the desert side of the planet, hoping to gather Dark Side energy from the Force-dense Cularin System. Analysis done in the years following the Battle of Naboo indicated that the fortress had been built 1,132 years prior, well before the Battle of Ruusan. The fortress on the planet had been established by Darth Rivan, who is generally credited with bringing the kaluthin grass to the planet. When Darth Rivan first arrived on Almas, the planet's atmosphere was filled with poisonous gases like phosphorus and methane, so he developed the kaluthin to help alter the atmosphere. The kaluthin was a success, given that all Almas' water was located underground, and continued to thrive after Darth Rivan was driven from the planet during the Sith Wars. Over the centuries, the kaluthin spread across the planet and created an atmosphere which was so high in oxygen it was almost toxic to humans. The grass also gave the planet a distinct aural glow, mainly from the phosphorus it consumed. This living growth is unusually countered by the Dark Side energy on the planet which originated in the desert region and slowly spread. The Jedi of the Old Republic determined that the desert area would eventually consume the fertile kaluthin plains, utterly destroying the planet's surface. So far, this has not come to pass.

Almas A
One of Almas' moons known to be laden with unique crystals which the Jedi used in the creation of their lightsabers. It is in the Cularin System.

Almas B
One of the moons of the planet Almas. It is in the Cularin System.

Genarius
This huge, orange-and-blue gas giant planet is the fourth planet in the Cularin System. Its core is incredibly dense, giving all the properties of a protostar, including the presence of nuclear reactions. These reactions produced two effects. First, the atmosphere of the planet is churned by intense storms. Second, Genarius appears to glow from within, giving it an eerie appearance to visitors to the system. Despite this incredibly dangerous scenario, Genarius is known to support at least one form of native live, the cochlera. Also, several orbital cities were built by entrepreneurial mining operations as bases from which they harvested some 150 rare gases and nuclear energy for sale.

Kluistar
This planet aligned itself with the New Republic after the Battle of Endor. It was believed that Rodin Baem stole information from New Republic computers on this planet. It is known for its unspoiled wildernesses, and the government regulates the size and locations of its cities in order to minimize the intrusion into the natural beauty of the planet. Despite this regulation, the government allowed the construction of The Ace of Sabres, in order to bring in more revenue to the planet.

Marasil
It is the yellow star of the Cularin System.

Termandus
It is the white dwarf star of the Cularin System.

Dedus System
Contains the planet Af`El.

Af`El
A large, high-gravity, seldom-visited world orbiting the ultraviolet supergiant Ka'Dedus. Af'El has no ozone layer and ultraviolet light passes freely to the surface, while other light wavelengths are blocked by the heavy gases in the planet's atmosphere. Thus, all lifeforms on Af'El can only see in ultraviolet light ranges, and are blind to other wavelengths of light. Af'El is the homeworld of the Defel, or "wraiths," whose bodies absorb visible light, giving them the appearance of shadows. The Defel live in underground cities to escape Af'El's violent storms. A main export of the planet is the metal meleenium (used in durasteel), which is only known to exist on Af'El.

Ka`Dedus
An ultraviolet supergiant star orbited by Af'El, home planet of the Defel.

Gamorr Run
A legendary long-haul smuggling Route, it is plauged by hijackers and pirates. It connects Sectors 33, 49, 50, 51, 65, 66, 67, 81, and 82.

Hollan System
A system in the Hollan D I Sector.

Hollan
Hollan, a small planet full of life. It is in orbit around a yellow sun. A variety of life has been recorded on the planet. A Rebel base was set up on Hollan during the first few months of the Rebellion, now all that is left of it is it's riuns.

Kashyyyk System
Contains the planet Kashyyyk.

Kashyyyk
The yellow star of the system.

Kashyyyk
It is a terrestrial planet with a breathable atmosphere. It has a standard gravity with a day that is 26 standard hours long. It jas a year that is 381 standard days long.

A jungle planet covered with kilometers-high wroshyr trees, Kashyyyk is the homeworld of the fierce but loyal Wookiees. Various ecosystems exist along each layer of the trees, with each level growing progressively more deadly the farther one travels to the planet's surface (dangerous webweavers, for instance, set traps in the lower levels). The Wookiees inhabit the highest levels in huge cities that are naturally supported by the thick tree branches, since wroshyr branches grow together when they meet. One such city, Rwookrrorro, is over a kilometer wide and built on a flat platform of meter-thick spongy material. It features two- to three-story buildings and a landing platform made from the stump of a wide limb. The most prestigious homes are built on the trees themselves, and nursery rings for young Wookiees are built in the tops of the very highest wroshyrs. The kshyy vines that grow among the trees cannot be cut with blasters and are strong enough to support liftcars. Wookiees have easily incorporated modern technology into their society and can accommodate visiting starships, though they sometimes prefer to use archaic items like their traditional quarrel-firing bowcaster. Colored searchlights in the cities help attract native birds called kroyies, a prize food.

Customs of the Wookiee people include the "life debt," where Wookiees feel they must repay the person who has saved their life, and the "honor family," or those people to whom a Wookiee feels a particular bond of friendship. Wookiee adolescents undergo a dangerous rite of passage into adulthood by harvesting silky strands from the heart of the carnivorous syren plant. The Wookiee species was treated as slave labor by the Empire and many were forced to toil on various Imperial construction projects. Many Wookiees still resent humans for the actions of the Empire. Leia Organa Solo hid on Kashyyyk until discovered by a team of Noghri commandos, who made an unsuccessful attempt to capture her.

For more information on the planet.

Gwyaaaag Station
A starport in orbit around Kashyyyk.

Muaarga
A moon of Kashyyyk. It is also known as Alaris. this moon orbits Kashyyyk, which maskes the moon's appearance to most shipboard sensors. When the Wookiees first arrived on the moon, they found a world of temperate forests and oceans, with many stands of wroshyr trees, which were believed to be native only to Kashyyyk. Wookiee legends tell of wroshyr trees traveling through space to Alaris, but no scientific explanation has ever been put forth. It is a highly-valued world, and the Trade Federation once tried to obtain control for themselves. The Wookiees objected to this, fighting to keep the Federation off Alaris.

Mumwa
A moon of Kashyyyk.

Nanthri Route
A trade route.

Uma
A moon of Kashyyyk.
