The Jedi Master Jorus C'baoth was a member of the Ando Demilitarization Observation Group during the time of the Old Republic. Following his departure from Tatooine, the infamous criminal Dr. Evazan was sheltered on Ando in a well-guarded castle on a rocky isle. Ando was also targeted by the Bellicose in a multi-pronged attack by Grand Admiral Thrawn intended to draw New Republic forces away from Ukio.
Ando Prime
This cold, frozen world was the site of a podracing course that challenged racers with a variety of icy, nearly frictionless surfaces. The planet's primary inhabitants are the Bendu monks, who live and worke in the Andobi Mountains. More modern settlements sprang up to the south of the mountains, and the villagers built a huge water pipeline and pump system to bring mountain spring water to their growing cities. The podraces that began here were originally staged to entertain the laborers who were building the pipelines, which took nearly a decade to complete.
Andosha II
This was one of several worlds which were colonized by the Aqualish, as part of the political body known as the Andoan Free Colonies. In the years leading up to the Clone Wars, Andosha II was one of the first Aqualish planets to denounce the secession of the planet Ando, instead remaining loyal to the Old Republic.
Elom
Galactic News Network reporter Kella Rand's first offworld assignment was covering a mining revolt on the cold world of Elom. Five years after the Battle of Endor, a New Republic task force crewed by Elomin were completely wiped out by Grand Admiral
Thrawn near the Obroa-skai system, since Thrawn understood the Elomin's psychological inability to defend against a Marg Sabl
closure maneuver.
Fedje
A forested planet where Han Solo spent some of his time as part of his Alliance duties.
Sriluur
Sights on Sriluur include the sandstorms of Varic and the port city of Dnalvec. Animal life on the planet includes dark wolves,
fierce nocturnal beasts that some Weequays are skilled enough to tame. Alliance major Adazian Liebke, a Weequay, once served
in the Dnalvec militia and fought in the Houk-Weequay conflicts. After the conflicts ended, the Empire built a permanent garrison
along the Copper Coast and in the industrial capital of Meirm. The Nikto assassin Ma'w'shiye, while he was still an Alliance agent,
helped defend the two remaining Dnalvec militia outposts on Sriluur against an Imperial attack.
