Hutt Space
A lawless expanse near the Outer Rim territories. Hutt Space is controlled by the most corrupt and powerful Hutt clans. The region is infamous throughout the galaxy for its widespread smuggling, piracy, and open criminal activity. During the reign of the Empire imperial authorities largely left the Hutts to their own devices, in part because many influential citizens had a covert stake in their illegal commerce. In the Xappyh Sector the Ganath and Cyax systems are presently considered as being part of Hutt Space.
