Roon System
The Roon system contains the dark mass of seething gases and spinning asteroids known as the Cloak of the Sith. It also contains the planet Roon.

Cloak of the Sith
A dark mass of seething gases and spinning asteroids that is so hazardous that it is officially classified as impenetrable. For the brave few who attempt the crossing, the reward is worth the risk - the Cloak harbors the galaxies only source of Roonstones.

The Rainbow comets, itinerant ice balls pass close to the system's small sun once a year and trace out the only safe path thru the cloak of the Sith.

JyM
The small sun of the Roon system.

Norlac
The planet Norulac housed a company of bandits who annually raided Taanab, until they were wiped out by Lando Calrissian in the famous Battle of Taanab. Calrissian single-handedly accounted for nineteen kills.

Roon
The legendary planet Roon sits at the heart of the Cloak of the Sith like a bright sapphire in a well of ink. It rotates on it's axis once a year, so one side is perpetually lit while the other is cold and caliginous.

The world's inhabitants, an eclectic mix of humans, near humans, and aliens, arrived over the centuries by following the tails of the Rainbow comets. These itinerant ice balls pass close to Roon's small sun once a year and trace out the only safe path thru the cloak of the Sith.

The native life-forms on the planet include the Mogo, a pack beast that has numerous legs and undulates as it walks; the Mudmen; wild Banthas and the monsterous Shamunaar. Roon is Governor Koong's base of operations.

Umboo
A colony in the Roon star system, it is the site of a light station that guides ships through the hazardous dust cloud the permeates the system. Umboo was the home of Auren Yomm, a talented young athlete whom R2-D2 and C-P30 met during the early days of the Empire.
