Betha System

The star of the Betha System.

Betha II
This low-gravity planet is a popular world with smugglers. It was believed to be the center of operations for the Kaarenth Dissension by New Republin Intelligence. The planet is really nothing more than a yellow-orange ball of rock. Its thin atmosphere contains very little moisture, leaving the surface of the planet barren and dry. Many millennia before the Galactic Civil War, Betha II was much more inviting, as its atmosphere still held water. This made is a thriving port. However, the planet's low gravity meant that it couldn't hold its atmosphere for long, and this eventually led to the drying out of the planet's ecosystem. The original colonists abandoned the world, and it was uninhabited until smugglers began using it as a based some 30 years before the Battle of Bilbringi. The average day on Betha II lasts 20 standard hours, and its year encompasses 117 local days. Very little habitation exists aboveground on the planet, since the dry surface is often swept clean by dust and sand storms. The caves and canyons of the planet have been expanded and connected with tunnels to support life underground.

Galaanus System
Located in the Corva sector of the Outer Rim, the Galaanus system contains the gas giant Galaan.

Galaan
Galaan, a large gas giant located in the Galaanus system of the Corva sector, is covered with green, gray, and white clouds that restrict visibility to a few hundred meters. The New Republic operates a floating Intelligence outpost in Galaan's upper atmosphere, which acts as the communications center for the entire Corva sector.

Garnib
An icy world inhabited by the white-furred Balinaka species, it's residents were enslaved by the Empire, which claimed it was "protecting the rights" of the inhabitants. Garnib is the only source of addictive Garnib crystals. The Balinaka are known for their artistic nature and carefree spirit.

Jaresh System
Located in the Corva sector of the Outer Rim and far from major hyperlanes, the Jaresh system contains a habitable moon orbiting its third planet. This moon, Jaresh, is a wet, dark swamp world covered with hundred-meter black trees and shrouded in a thick haze. The moon, teeming with life, was purchased by the Twi'lek smuggler Ree Shala, who built her floating base there approximately three years after the Battle of Endor.

Glottal
The homeworld of the Glottalphibs, often abreviated to 'Phibds, Glottal is a hot, humid world of swamps, lilypad covered ponds, and dark forests. Glottalphibs hace scaly yellow-green skin and long snouts filled with teeth. Their gills allow them to live in both water and air and they radiate no detectable body heat. They can breathe fire, shooting it from their mouths as a weapon.

Jaresh
A moon of the third planet in the Jaresh System.
