Our tirp began in the early
morning of April 11, 2000 at Don Muang Airport. We arrived in London at
4:00 p.m. Then we spent our first night at Earl 's Court Hostel. Next morning,
after breakfast, while we were heading for Bath at the railway station,
Pop, one of my friends, forgot his passport, Wow !! We reachedthe western
part of England at about 1:00 p.m.

We spent the whole day and
night in Bath, visiting the famous museum, wandering around the city, having
a rather expensive and unique lunch, and simple and cheap dinner Hamburger
at MacDonales. The city is wonderful with a tranquil atmosphere.

Chester; the city of Wall
was our next destination. Pop made the next blunder ! He forgot his belonging
on the bus. As a result, we missed the train and spent one hour waiting
for the next one. We thought Chester was a great place to sleep as it was
so quiet with only a few people walking in the evening. We supped luxury
Chinese dishes here.

 |
The next day, we took the
double-decker bus into the city. We saw many people walking along the street.
From Chester, we planed to go to Scotland and hoped to arrive there by noon.
But we missed the train at Burmingham. Finally, we reached Scotland and
spent more than 5 hours at that day, visiting the Edinburgh castle and shopping
along Princes Street.

At 9:00 p.m., it was still
very bright. We took the bus back to our hostel. On April 13, 2000,
we celebrated our Songkarn Day here. The weather in Edinburgh is very very
cool, but it is hot in Thailand. Next morning, we walked from our hostel
to the downtown. It was a beautiful sunny day after days of rain.

We stopped by the park and
ate someting for energy. Many pictures were taken here as it was a beautiful
park. We also visited some interesting places till 5:00 p.m. We moved to
Cambridge by 9:00 p.m. and spent one night and half a day there. Only two
energetic guys went to Shakespere's birth place, but the rest decided to
go to London for shopping. We went separate ways for two days !!

Then,
we gathered in London for a luxurious lunch in Soho. We learnt many things
on this trip, especially in London. At least, we know that English is
a must in England. We were brave enough to use our broken English to communicate
with the native speakers; buying tickets, asking the way and so on. We
spent our time as usefully as we could there. We made several new friends
in the hostel. Before departing from the great city of England, we had
the last wonderful breakfast in London. We felt like staying there longer
than we planned, but we could not do so. We enjoyed every moment, and
forgot that our friends were waiting for us on the aeroplane. Ha Ha Ha
! "It's too late. You have to change the flight !!", the British
Airways airport representative told us. She refused to give us our boarding
passes. Oh My God !"Please!! We would like to stay here, but not
this time, please !" We were likely to cry at that second. "YOU
HAVE TO RUN" the British Airways agent said. Finally, we managed
to get on the plane. "Hey ! They are coming " Jinny, one of our
friends, shouted with delight. "Ladies and Gentlemen, I am....Welcome
to.... we are now ready to ......." the Captain welcomed the passengers
on board while Pop and I were celebrating our exciting and adventurous
tirp quietly with various kinds of luxurious wine.
Bye England !!
England Trip remains in my life Forever.
