|
LOCKHEED MARTIN SYSTEMS
INTEGRATION-OWEGO Owego, NY Analog Design Engineer |
7/1998 to
Present |

v Worked
in Power development group: |
|
• Involved in
new design,
development of AC/DC power supplies for military, aerospace
applications. Working with the design team, cross-functional
teams, involving in most activities necessary to take a design
from concept to production including design subsections of
power supplies, simulation, stress analysis, schematic entry,
generate parts list, work with PCB designer in physical board
layout/route, prototype fabrication, design-validation
testing, debug, test issue resolution, and production ramp-up
support. |
|
• Supported
existing designs, which were already in production. Debugged and fixed power supplies that had problems at power
supply level test, system level test or field returned.
|
v Worked
in RF
group: |
|
• Supported fixing phase problems
for Qual/Phase Module of 3-channel phase measuring Receiver. |

SENIOR DESIGN PROJECT |
12/1997 to 5/1998 |
|
• Designed
and implemented an active vibration and position control
system for a cantilevered beam, equipped with a piezo-ceramic
"self-sensor" for vabration controller and addy-current
sensor for position controller. This was a team effort; my
responsibilities were designning a vibration controller. |

GE POWER GENERATIONS Schenectady,
NY Co-op
Worked
in CASE/Electrical System Department: |
6/1997 to
11/1997 |
|
• Assisted
engineers with specifications/ ordering drawings for
excitation systems such as Generation Excitation, Generation
Excitation Compartment, and Excitation Bus Ducts (AC/DC). |
|
• Collected
and Analyzed data in order to performed exciter parameter
calculations and created standard IEEE excitation systems
models. Run and issued models as formal system level interface
drawing. |
|
• Utilized
Visio to create job specific excitation system one-line
diagrams and enhanced automation of ordering drawing
processes. |

ASEA
BROWN BOVERI (ABB) Rochester,
NY Co-op Worked
in Software Engineering group: |
6/1996
to 3/1997 |
|
• Maintained
application packages and upgraded the software (MOD300).
Used C and Assembly Language to debug and test.
Analyzed the software problem, came up with the
solution to solve the problem and fixing the code. |
|
• Wrote
the test procedures and also responsible for the testing. |
