Living by the Grace of God

Dear all, I would like to share with you my personal testimony here.

I was born in a Christian family, and even more special, in a pastor family. Since I was a baby I have attended Sunday School and also all church services, because my parents always used to bring me when they went to church and ministered there.

The Bible says in Romans 3:23  "for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God", so it means all people are sinners, including me. I have a younger brother, and I often used to get jealous of him, and often fought with him. Then I knew that was sin and I knew also that although I was still a child, I was a sinner. And one day, my mom evangelized me and my brother, and I personally accepted Jesus Christ as my savior.

Since then, although I haven't changed directly on the outside,  I know the Holy Spirit has been working inside, renewing me day by day, as I am growing in God's Word. God helps me to be more patient and to have more understanding of my brother, and also in other ways; my old bad habits are changed one by one. If I do sin, I feel so sorry, and now I know that it's not only because I am afraid of my dad -who may punish me if I do a mistake on purpose- but because I know that God is sad whenever I don't obey Him. Praise the Lord that He gives a promise that He loves us and He will forgive us if we repent to Him.

I was baptized on 20 May 1988 as a proof that I love Jesus - that I want to obey His commandment- and also as a testimony that I died unto sin and live unto Christ. One of my favorite verse is from Philippians 1:21 "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain".

I thank God that God gives me a supporting family that help me to grow in God's Word. They always encourage me to be faithful to serve God, and they always emphasize that the highest work is to serve God- to be God's co-worker.

God gives me the priviledge of serving as a Sunday School teacher.

And what is wonderful is that God not only gives us eternal life, but He also gives us daily living. Thru being part of a pastor family, I learnt how God is so faithful that even though my parents don't have a job like most people have, He can use " a crow" to feed us. He always gives us our daily meal, good shelter, enough dress, good health and so on.  He even gives me a good school and university.

My dad gave "Grace" as my middle name, because he realizes that our life is only by His grace, and I realize also that that name is so real in my life.

Right now, I am still a master student. I don't know for sure what I will be but I know that God will guide my future as I want to live in His will.
