| The group known as the MoAz was founded in the early 90's by a group of friends who lived in the same neighborhood. The exact origin of the name is unclear but it stemmed from a conversation Mike and Ki had about who was the best at Street Fighter II. It went something like this: Ki: Who's the best? Moi that's who Mike: Moi? What's Moi? Ki: You know, Moi. French for "me" Mike: Ohhh..Moi..Nah you're not the best, It's Moi. Somehow the pronunciation got changed to "MoA". It was a nickname for Mike's little brother. Unknown to Mike, Ki was using a AoL screenname with "MoA" and telling people about "MoA" eventualy others adopted the name too, while Mike was totally left in the dark about this. Besides me, the people I consider MoAz are Kijoon, Harris, Peter, George, Chris, and BuM. Although there are numerous other friends, I feel closest to these six who I am priveliged enough to call friends. Enough talk - picture time |
